Good location as it was right at the hill looking over Halic (Golden Horn) and very close to Galata Tower. Lots restaurants near by also. The top floor restaurant provides magnificent view. However, the facilities on site were visibly old and the breakfast only had limited selection. This is of course in comparison with other more modern hotel choices in the area.

Was a brilliant hotel, very very clean, the staff was super helpful and polite, the room was spacious & plenty of wardrobe & cupboard space. Rooftop restaurant was spot on, prices so reasonable & a good selection. If i had to say any negative comments and its not a big deal, it would be no Atm or currency exchange at the hotel. I was upgraded to a bigger room. The room was very noisey from the traffic that was relentless.

I was most surprised the reception could not give me a map of the area.

The street immediately outside is very busy, footpath narrow and unsafe due to steps and pavement in poor condition.

This is not a 5 star property in any way shape or form. Highly disappointing. Pool in the basement is gross. The restaurant is overrated and overpriced. The housekeeping staff was wonderful and extremely friendly, making sure to drop water off at our room every day and did a fantastic job. Other than that, would not recommended this property at all

The 3rd bed is an uncomfortable cot which is unacceptable after a 10 hour flight, reception staff are not very friendly, the rooftop restaurant can’t get your dinner order right, but expect you to pay. The food was not of high quality either. The beef shank tasted old. After failing to acknowledge our anniversary by themselves, they sent us a plate of breakfast buffet fruit. We asked the front desk for support for getting a taxi, and they just said that they don’t speak English. We got zero help. Just constant snide stares. We watched the front desk manager lie to someone who called in by saying the system was down while he was using the system to check us in. We called to speak to Zara, the general manager, and no one has called us back. Gulfur from housekeeping was the most excellent person at the property! She should work at front desk or at least in management!

When I reached there the hotel told me my booking was cancelled and then after 1 to 2 hours they said that they managed to get my booking. When they gave me my room it was too small and there was no view, the view was the parking lot with zero view of the city and when I booked they said the room will come with a city view.
So I don’t advise this hotel to anyone

The description on Hotels.com says there should be gowns and pillow menu - none of those was available (we had an Executive room). Furthermore, and that's the main reason for low rating was the constant awful drainage smell from the bathroom.

My wife and I were there for our 20th anniversary. Not a pleasant experience at all. We complained numerous times about the air conditioning and were told that there was nothing they could do about it. We could set the temperature to 19c but it would never go below 23c. Miserable sleeping conditions. Neither one of us slept both nights we were there. They were also moving their buffet restaurant to the floor right above us. The first morning we were there. It was very noisy as they were moving all the furniture around. The second morning we were there. They were finally doing breakfast service and the noise on the floor from above Was dreadful. I talked with management about this and they didn’t seem to care at all. What a waste for our 20th anniversary.

The hotel staff is great. The property claims to be 5 star but far from that. The spa is not relaxing it is next to a loud gym that blasts rap music. The shower panels were coming off. The rooms are way smaller than they show. So loud. You hear all the city noise 24/7. They have these air perfume machines on their hallways that triggered my asthma. Hotel is not sensitive to people with respiratory issues. The food is good here snd so is their breakfast buffet. The employees were great too. This hotel is walking distance to taksim and Galata area. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again or visit Istanbul again.

The hotel is good. They even let me check in 3 hrs early which was a very good help. Most of the staff were courteous and helpful but I had 2 issue. 1.when booking my stay, i didn’t add Bfast with it as I thought I will do at the hotel. Upon checking, the staff told me that my room didn’t include the Bfast and if I wanted to have Bfast they will be 19 or 20 euro which was fine with me. The next morning, I when to have my Bfast and when I was coming out one of the restaurant staff asked my how would I want to pay and I said I can pay now, when I saw my bill it was 40 euros. I told him, is this correct as 40 euros seems very high for breakfast for 1 person and he said that’s their price. I even told him that I was told yesterday that it was 19 euros and he said, he isn’t sure what was said to me and I need to pay 40 euros which I did.
Then I went to the reception and I told the staff that look it’s not about the money but I don’t think I need to paid 40 euros for Bfast when I was told it will be 19 euros and he said, sir because you didn’t book the Bfast from us that’s is why restaurant charged you double and I was like what, isn’t the restaurant part of your hotel? If they would have explained me I would have paid at the time of check in. Anyway they didn’t do anything.
2. I like my room yo be cold for sleeping and when I turned the air con on it was blowing hot air, when I called the staff they said they can’t do anything as in winter the air c blows hot air only.

Fabulous nice neat and clean hotel . Few minutes Walk to Istiklal street on your way a lot to explore . Very nice interior and a lot of amenities .View of my room fabulous city and river view . Beds washroom clean interior of hotel was awesome. Staff always ready to help . Breakfast was amazing with a lot of selections .Breakfast staff was very professional and well uniformed with nice elegant smells . Fine Restaurant,Cafes and many more on walking distance . Commute to old town or Grand bazar was bit tough as no metro station close by but this place has its own pace . Good location if you want to stay around near galata away from the hotels just at the touristic busy street of galata and taksim square yet in walking distance
Clean, neat and basic, good view if you opt for the golden horn view rooms
No real character to the hotel, basic and efficient lobby area
the train station is good 15 minutes hilly walk, just about bearable in the rain

The wall between rooms are very thin. It seemed that ppl next door are screaming in our room!! The staff could be friendlier. We were there 6 days and constantly going out and come back. Never greeted by them. The heater was big problem. Want working properly. Eventually we gave up and preferred to sleep in cold rather than in sauna

I recently stayed at Radisson Bue Hotel Istanbul Pera and had a wonderful experience.

Cleanliness: The hotel was impeccably clean, from the lobby to my room. It was clear that hygiene is a top priority.

Location: Perfectly situated near major attractions, it made sightseeing a breeze. Plus, there were great dining options within walking distance.

Service: The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering helpful recommendations and quick responses to requests. Selis was extremely helpful and amazing!!

Amenities: The hotel offers a fantastic pool and a well-equipped gym. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a wide variety of delicious options.

Comfort: My room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like extra pillows and a coffee maker.

Value for Money: Considering the quality of service and facilities, the price was very reasonable. I felt I got great value for my stay.

The breakfast options were good and location was convenient. However, on checking in, we noted cotton buds in the bin and one morning after a room clean we had stained towels. We had to revalidate our room access card everyday which was really frustrating. On reporting this on check out, it did not seem to bother the gentleman at the desk and we got a meek sorry. Not what I would expect from Radisson.

All I need to say is - the view the view the view!! Wow!!
Highly recommend going for one of the rooms with a balcony or a view of the Golden Horn. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the feeling of waking up to the sunrise glow through the window of my room overlooking the Bosphorus.

Also want to add, the staff make any stay memorable wherever you go. The staff here were incredible and very dedicated to every detail and aspect of running this hotel.
Definitely would recommend staying here again!

Great choice for a city break in Istanbul

Location is very convenient, in the middle of Pera, 5 mins to Istiklal, close to all attractions but not in a crowded area. Lots of restaurants around. Bed super comfy, big bathroom, a lot of storage space, big room. Would choose again for a city break in Istanbul

I would give this property a 3 or 4 star. Super small lobby for a 5 star hotel! I also had my wallet stolen the 2nd day I was in Istanbul! Not a safe city at all!! The hotel staff made aware of my situation.. I was expecting the hotel to help me in this situation by getting the police there or provide the ride to get me to the police station. Instead I had to do everything on my own and walk to the police station!!

Where do I begin with this disaster of a hotel? My stay at the 5-star Radisson Blu a nightmare from start to finish. I booked this location to be the final stop on our 10 year anniversary tour of Turkey.

This was the 5th hotel we had stayed in Turkey and had the most inhospitable staff. The staff were rude and unhelpful, acting like they were doing me a favor by acknowledging my existence. It took forever to talk to the front desk staff despite there being no line. The 2 members would continue staring at the monitors to avoid making eye contact.

I booked a room with the panoramic view. The patio furniture was covered in bird excrement and the hot tub was dirty, had stagnant brown water, and insects in them. The jets were also rusted.

Overall, my experience at the Radisson Blu was a complete disaster. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save your money and stay far, far away!\"

Really good size rooms, even for the standard ones. Room was clean and amenities restocked daily.

Breakfast is okay - quite limited. They do all the usual eggs etc but it just didn’t wow us.

We used the spa and had a packaged service which was nice. Not quite sure it was worth 130 euros each but it is what it is.

Overall a good hotel, perfect location and for the price we would consider it again.

Was asked two times by hotel staff in a 24 hours stay to write a review, one time they called my room to ask. This is off putting, and here it is. First room was wrong room and the AC didn’t work. The front desk kindly rebooked me in the correct room, but AC still did not work. Showers are smaller than on a cruise ship. Definitely started to show its age. Next door construction ran through the night and though an eyesore now, will likely block most views in the future. This hotel was OK. Not luxury.
