If I’m honest, I wouldn’t stay here again. Staff were friendly and helpful but the building was quite run down, dingy and dark. There were hairs and stains on the bed and towels and the room just felt very oppressive. I don’t think the advertised photos give a true representation of the hotel.

This hotel is breathtaking and very beautiful. From the time you enter, OkTay welcomes you with open arms, provides you with such a relaxing, calm and professional manner. Helps you take your luggage to your room after you relax and ready for his assistance. The room is extremely clean and has all the amenities you need. The hotel feels like a cozy cabin and is very beautiful. Stores, shopping malls are all within walking distance and tons of eateries. If I am able to give this hotel a 10/10 I would. Hotel staff is so wonderful and very respectful. Stellar service at any time of the day. On the day of my check out, which was raining hard, OkTay called Taxi service for me and hand carry my 2 luggage down the walkway approx 10 minutes and helped me in the taxi. Thank you OkTay for going above and beyond. You made this stay so pleasant for me. Your hotel definitely deserves a full recognition for outstanding service from the heart. I definitely will be back and hope everyone gives this hotel the recognition it deserves. Happy holidays to all and thank you again OkTay!!

En nuestra estadía en Istambul, nos hemos hospedado en dos hoteles distintos, pero sin duda este ha sido el mejor, sencillo, limpio, pero sobretodo EL PERSONAL SUPER AGRADABLE, atentos, nos invitaron te de cortesía y café, nos tuvieron mucha paciencia (también nos hicieron el favor de guardar nuestras maletas cuando fuimos a Antalya) el desayuno sencillo pero bueno, todo muy tradicional, te hacen sentir en confianza, no recuerdo los nombres de nuestros anfitriones, más todos fueron atentos, sin duda me quedaría de nuevo allí.

Receptionists were really nice and helpful, unfortunately cleanliness of the hotel is really bad. Looked like they didn’t mop the floor in the room for so long and there was so much dust. Location is really good and price that we paid was okay but they need to improve their cleanliness. We did request for housekeeper to come but she only changed our towels.

First, the photos were deceiving and the hotel was small and ver dirty. The staff was unfriendly and refused to help. My husband asked to change rooms and they state that in order to move he must pay more money. His bags could barely fit in the room. We reported this to Hotels.com. When the representative called the front desk he refused to tell her his name or help her. He asked like he did speak English.

The hotel is in a cute alley with a few bars around the corner. It can get fairly noisy at night but nothing out of the usual for being near an extremely busy pedestrian street. The hotel is cute and clean. The staff are helpful and kind. Would recommend especially with the location, price and quality

Tiny room

Great location, but room is super tiny. Tiny window facing no where. It doesn’t fit a person that wants to escape from a fire or other emergencies. Almost no natural light. If you are claustrophobic, don’t even consider it.

Hotel location is very central - still very safe and close to metro. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and you can find everything you need. Only problem is being near to bars and it can be slightly noisy.

The location was very good but overall the hotel was very bad, it was really dirty and when we asked them to clean our room and wash our sheets; since there were stains from the previous customers, they said they only wash the sheets twice a week!!

The rooms are too tight. I wouldn't recommend for families but if you are a traveller and just would want a cozy place to sleep than that's the place to be.

Very nice hotel at reasonable price

The room is very well designed and all you need is somehow fitted in the room. It is clean, location is very good and it wasn’t also noisy, could easily sleep. Staff is also very helpful. 7/24 reception is also great.

Very bad, Rooms smell like sewer, Not recommended

Although the rules and regulations signed by all the guests require eveyone not to smoke, I could clearly smell cigarette at my floor. The rooms are very small and there is barely enough space for the bags. Besides, there was no closet in my room. Also, the room was so smelly that I had to put a plastic in the shower drain to get rid of the disgusting smell of sewers. The staff are not so welcoming, however, they offer to help. The WiFi was also slow. I had way better internet speed on my simcard!
Overall, I do not recommend staying at this place at all. There are better places in the same neighbourhood for slightly higher prices.

Modern, comfortable, great location. I stayed in an economy double room for 12 days. While the space is tight (not much room if you have a lot of luggage) the bed is comfortable, the shower has plenty of hot water and the facilities are new and well kept. The location is near to some good bars, restaurants & Istiklal Caddesi. I walked around from here with no problems. The WiFi is good.

Vill poängtera att personalen var fantastiska!! Killarna är respektfulla, välkomnade, vänliga, hjälpsamma. Kan varmt rekommendera hotellet. Särskild bra för yngre människor, med tanke på läget. Bor gärna där igen.

Biz çift olarak gittik konum olarak mükemmel istiklal caddesine 2 dakika mesafede çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve bir şey istediğiniz anda ilgileniyorlar. Odalar küçük ama eğer yatmadan yatmaya girecekseniz otel tam fiyat performans oteli deyebilirim. Geceleri etraftaki barlardan ses geliyor evet ama sesle uyumaya alışkındayız asla rahatsız etmiyor.

Bu ikinci gidişimizdi, işimiz gereği erkek arkadaşımla bu bölgeye gelip eve dönmek istemediğimizde şans eseri bulup diğer seyahatlerimizde de tercih edeceğimiz yer kesinlikle. İlgileri, güleryüzleri, oda temizliği harikaydı. Gerçek bir fiyat performans yeri. Eğlence mekanlarına yakın olmasına rağmen kesinlikle rahatsız edici ses yoktu. Bizim kaldığımız oda 103 numaralı odaydı ve en alt kattaydı eğer yağmur da yağıyorsa inanılmaz bir görsel şölen diyebilirim tabii benim için bu böyle. Jurnal hotel ailesine teşekkür ederiz.

Second stay at this nice (2023 and 2024), small hotel in the center of Istanbul. Rooms are small but convinient with shower and A/C. Bring ear plugs as very lively area at night. Now elevator installed. No breakfast but cafes just 2 min away. Staff very nice and arranged and helped us with taxi to airport In heavy rain. Will come back.

Konum güzel, sadece problem çok ses ve gürültü var geç saatlere kadar. Otel çocuklu aileler için uygun değil yan odalardan gelen sesler ve konuşmalardan dolayı. Odalar ses yalıtımı yok ve herkes birbirini dinliyor en esksik yönü tuvaletin kapıları yarım üstler altlar açık aynı bar kapısı gibi. Otel çalışanları mükemmel davranış yardım hizmet en üst düzeyde ayrıca onlara teşekkür ederiz. Uymak dinlenmek isteyenler için çok uygun olmayabilir ancak gece geç saatlere kadar klub ve barlarda eylence sevenler için lokasyon tam yerinde.

Odalar cok kücük, ilk odada klima calismiyor diye resepsiyob hemen odamizi degistirdi ve yeni odada yasadigimiz klima ve TV sorununa hemen bir cözüm buldular - bunun icin tesekkürler. Oda hic temiz degildi, yatagin kösesinde önceki müsterilerden kalan peceteler vs vardi. 3 gece kalmamiza ragmen Housekeeping hic odaya gelmedi. Evet fiyati uygun oldugu icin fazla bir beklentimiz yoktu ama en azindan temizlik ve hijyen konularinda daha dikkatli olunabilir.

Eco odalar oldukça küçük hareket edecek alan yok. Rezerve ettiğimiz odayı başkasına vermişler belirttiğimizde şuan sadece bu oda boş diye farklı ve berbat bi oda verildi. Arayıp tuvalet kağıdı yok odada diyoruz “-oda servisimiz yok gelip alabilirsiniz” tarzı cümle kullanılıyor. Sadece uyumak için bi çok şey göz ardı edilip gidilebilecek bi yer. Havlular kokuyor, konumu ara bi sokak etrafında alkollü mekan çok fazla. Haliyle gürültü oldukça yüksek.

Un séjour horrible et catastrophique .
Le linge de lit ainsi que les serviettes dans la SDB était dans un état désastreux.
Saleté (des cheveux partout du sang sur le linge de lit et j'en passe.
Le calme n'était pas à l'ordre du jour.
Les clients n'étaient pas silencieux et discuter a haute voix avec les réceptionnistes .
On a pas fermé l'oeil de toute la nuit.
