The room itself was fine, however the door lock was faulty on several mornings. After leaving the room and checking the door, the door wouldn’t lock properly and could be opened from the outside. We had to call a technician multiple times throughout our stay and wait in the room, as we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our belongings unattended. This was inconvenient and concerning.

Staff were excellent and the food was varied and tasty (esp breakfast) - the Bar is plentiful and self serve beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee is good. Room was clean, and the cleaning teams did a good job. overall the hotel is a little tired and dated, with some peeling paint and rough around the edges. I would recommend this as a good budget holiday hotel.

I was disappointed with the air conditioning. It was insufficient cooling for the persistent heat and humidity. It was hard to get to sleep and I woke every day in soaking sweaty sheets. It was the only let down in an otherwise amazing holiday.

I stayed here for just one night and couldn’t wait to leave. The so-called air conditioning is a joke - it only blew hot air, and I didn’t get any sleep until 5:30 a.m. It should not be advertised as air conditioning at all. The rest of the hotel is no better, with none of the common areas properly cooled.

The bathroom was dirty, with hairs and fingerprints left in the shower and on the surfaces. Everything is old & worn out.

The pool area is overcrowded and chaotic, with no available seating. Sunbeds are “reserved” with towels for hours while no one uses them, making it impossible to relax.

Definitely not worth the money.

Room 326 initially given was noisy being close to external ventilation machinery. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and offered us a quieter room and with a better view. Only downside is the hotel is dated, and the 2nd floor of block 3 smellt as if the drains were faulty. Overall a good hotel for the price.

Really liked the hotel.
Room was cleaned every day and the staff were friendly.
I wouldn’t stay again for two reasons.
Firstly the pool was too cold and in my three week stay I went in there once as it was so uncomfortable and the other reason is the air con in the room was pathetic, you could leave it on all day and notice no difference.

Overall a good stay for the price. We stayed for just over a week and found the staff exceptionally polite and helpful. It is in a great location with the beach being a 10 minute walk and the main shopping centre a 10 minute walk also. The food options while good quality can be a little repetitive by the time you’ve been there for a week. The room was exceptionally clean and we had a great view from our balcony. The only thing with the room was the air conditioning could have been better, it struggled to get the room down to a comfortable temperature. Overall a good stay, this was our second visit to the Waikiki and was as good as our first.

Food and pools at Waikiki

What I noticed from the first moment is the impeccable cleanliness, very friendly staff.

The hotel needs a renovation and I mean the rooms and the furniture in a deplorable state. The room is a 3 star, not a 4 star but the bed with excellent mattresses made up for it - I had a perfect sleep.

The food is again a strong point - very varied, tasty and above all fresh. I liked that the grill and the fresh salads. Cakes and desserts a major plus, very appetising and prepared in the hotel kitchen.

Delicious cocktails.

Few seats available in the evening for the entertainment program.

Minidisco for kids - the same program in every evening - nothing special.

Very clean and nice pools with warm water.

Overall, the hotel is a nice place to spent a week or two, especially for the food and pools. I will probably return.

The property was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The property was dated and it showed. The breakfast selection was really good, but the lunch and dinner options could be better. The location was good as it was close to amenities, but a bit far away from the beach. I had to pay a deposit at the front reception to secure an electric oven for the room as it didn't come with one.

The all-inclusive service, room and location made this a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. There was a wide selection of food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, bus stops for the beach and airport are almost right outside. Staff were helpful, double room was spacious and balcony caught the sun in the afternoon and was a comfortable spot to relax in. Highly recommended.

Parking for hire cars was very convenient, right outside the hotel and free. The food was nice for a buffet and soft drinks and wine/beer is included during evening meals for half board. Enough sun loungers for everyone but the pool wasn’t heated so too cold in February. Downside was the road was quite noisy on the balcony and the hotels are very close together.

Great hotel, rooms very clean and comfortable beds. Staff were excellent, breakfast was very tasty and loads of choice. Plenty of sun beds and facilities in the hotel are very good. Really enjoyed our stay. We were in block E and the only negatives were that the air conditioning wasn’t great so we had to leave the balcony door open but there was a lot of road noise from a busy road at the back of the hotel. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would have no problem booking again.

Spent a week at the Waikiki in early July (B&B):

Positives:
- cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast choices, pool / loads of sunbeds, good location for buses
Negatives:
- evening entertainment, pool bar area, feels more German than Spanish
Best for: Young families
Not good for: Older teenagers, young adults, singles

Pleased we went B&B rather than AI - lots of grumbles from AI guests about the drinks and dinner.

The hotel structure is really good. The staff are just amazing. Working hard tomake everyone happy. The restaurant are good, loads of options but start getting boring after few days. The big disappointment was the intertainment. We arrived on solstice day. Loads of activities, loads of animators at night we had one cuban singer work together with more 5 animatores. Dancing ballons competition was amazing. The other day look like we was in different hotel. Just one animator. He work hard but not the same. At night we had one singer (poor girl) look like geriatric home. Was so boring and sad. No animators at night. Everyone went out to buy card games. Because not have nothings to do. And was the same for more 2 nights. In our last night we had a acrobatics circus. As well really good and everyone enjoy. *hotel manager. Singers not make intertainment. Is boring. Contract a big team and invest in games. We defo not come back.

We spent a week at Waikiki just after Easter.
The hotel is well located close to bars and restaurants only a short walk away.
The hotel has a fairly big capacity but this can really only be felt at breakfast time when the restaurant tends to get busy. The breakfast was very repetitive after a few days but it was possible to find something.

We booked a double room which came with 2 single beds pushed together= not a double bed which was very annoying, however the room was clean with fresh towels daily. We were surprised that a 4 star hotel does not have a fridge or even kettle in the room.

Whilst the hotel is very family orientated and the animation team great, the 18+ areas were full of children which was not monitored at all. The little gym equipment there was was used by children with no space for adults, the jacuzzi had more children in it than adults which got irritating at times. Overall an okay stay.

Huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia ( minibaaria) joka aiheutti pieniä vaikeuksia lasten kansaa olemiseen huoneessa .huoneen siivous oli hyvä , mutta hotellissa on niin paljon ihmisiä joten siellä ei vissin ehtivät siivoa paremmin ( verhot, sohvankangas , seinät , ovet olivat aika likaiset ) ovi sekä suihkuun että pääovi huoneessa ei oikein toiminut .huoneessa ei ollut edes vesipulloa vaikka tultiin sinne yölennolla.

Lovely family friendly hotel

Lovely family friendly hotel. The food was lovely and varied with plenty of choice. It was always well presented and hot. The waiting staff were always friendly and efficient at clearing the tables. Lovely champagne breakfast on Sunday and a large chocolate fountain was a treat.

The rooms were very clean and cleaned daily.

The hotel had a lovely large lively pool, but the sun bed culture meant you had to get up early so get a bed so you can watch over your children. Unfortunately, although there was meant to be a life guard, he was never really present and when he was, he was rarely watching over the pool.

The entertainment needs improving. It finished too early in the evening as the singers were only on for 1.5 hours. The disco downstairs was non existent as they sent the kids away but most of the guests had kids as it was a family resort.

The day time entertainment for the kids could do with improvement too. Apart from the water polo it wasn’t very good. Archery happened under the glare of the midday sun, with only one archery board for example.

Overall my family of 4 had a lovely holiday as would definitely return.

I nevered stayed there i booked my trip for san juan puerto rico not there and me and my wife had to sleep on the floor at the airport it wasn't right at all and when i tried to get my money back i couldn't the person who i talked to said that it wasn't their problem so we slept on the floor in san juan puerto rico airport that's how it went until i got paid to book another hotel so i needed my money back into my account please. I always book my rooms with yall and never had this problem customer service was horrible so please can you put .y money back into my account thank you. Calvin Page .

The wellness area is well worth a visit. Excellent service. It's a very busy resort so get to breakfast at 9.20 or before. Pina colada in all inclusive wasnt great. But beers and Whiskey cream liquor are good. Foosball table was out of balls. Electric sockets in room wasn't strong enough to boil the kettle. Always seats around the pool. Staff are nice and helpful. Again a busy hotel so if you are looking for a late checkout sometimes it's not available. Food was basic but good.

The hotel and its staff are amazing!! I can see it might be very busy during busier periods, but mid January was great. Lots of sunloungers, huge selection of food throughout the day and they even left me a bottle of bubbly and card near my door on my birthday. Highly recommended!!

It’s an ok hotel but it’s an average 3 star no way 4 star in my opinion so we were a bit disappointed.Food was plentiful but average at best with the same stuff recycled. Location is fine . Pool area is nice but itwas like being in a sardine tin with people fighting for a bed in the sun . Good for kids though. friendly staff.

Layout, cleanliness, food, and helpfulness of the staff excellent. Evening entertainment was poor imo and only lasted 40 mins. No idea why it was located downstairs at peak season in a cramped room with few unobstructed views - stage hidden by structural columns when main stage upstairs outside unused. Poorly advertised. The best acts were put on outside early evening when many people still bathing or in the restaurant. The entertainment team did make a huge effort and some great individuals and everyone tried their best - a real collective and great team effort, but sadly it wasn't at the level i'd come to expect in content, choreography or performance.

Great family all inclusive

Nice hotel. Lots of children so not for me but the staff were friendly and the place clean. About 5 mins easy walk from. Yumbo. Disabled friendly too.
