We paid for 3 beds and the only room available was 2 beds, even though we didnt have late check in. One of the beds didnt have any blankets. The heat/ac never worked in the room. The wifi didnt work in the room. The bilingual concierge didnt speak any english. Beds were made each day, but floors were never sweeped and actually got dirtier after house keeping. \"Free parking\" was whatever you could find to park on the street. The restaurant served pizza when they felt like being open, for about an hour a day, but never the same times. We expected the Ascent standard for clean and decent hotels. This was not it. The things listed in the hotel description were not avaliable.

Hotel is under major renovation. Should be more pretty next year. Parking is free around neighborhood. By door there is #6 bus take you directly to old town in 30m.Staff is super super friendly. We are late for breakfast they made us coffee for free. :)

The staff was so swift and willing to help in any way they can. The coffee at breakfast was very good but it was not hot enough. You know how Americans like hot coffee first thing in the morning.

Very helpful maintenance man allowed me to park my motorcycle in the secure underground area of the hotel off the street and away from any prying eyes. Not sure he does that for everybody and I am extremely grateful.

The hotel only has scalding hot water. Impossible to wash your hands or take a shower. We asked to be moved to another room and, after much argument, were allowed to. Same story there. No cold water. Had an impression that the hotel staff was aware of the situation, but chose not to correct it.

This hotel was not what we expected! It's advertised as 4 stars but I can't imagine who would give it this rating. The wall below the window was dirty and moldy-looking, the fixtures and furniture looked old and uncared for. I imagine this hotel has not received any upgrades since it was built (1960s or 70s?). Further, the hotel is very far from the main attractions. That said, the person at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, I hope she soon moves to another hotel with more growth opportunities.

Overrated Hotel
This hotel was rated as four stars yet AAA would only rate it as a two star establishment. The furniture was old, scratched, stained and uncomfortable. The food was not good as the calamari was over-breaded, the beef was over-cooked, the sausage had excessive grease and the scrambled eggs were very watery. Also the hotel was over 10 kilometers from the center of town and not close as advertised. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was very close to a bus stop that took us to the town center for only one Euro.

We booked this hotel before driving from Porto. We had thought it was nearer the center of town so were initially disappointed with its location. But a city bus stops in front of the hotel every 15 minutes and takes you to the center of town for one Euro.

El hotel y la habitación aparente estaban bien. Se ven indicios de reforma y que no estan terminadas pues en el hall de la planta no habia indicador de hacia que lado estaban los diferentes numeros de habitaciones. Eso si, no teniamos perchas, no funcionaba el mando de la tv y tampoco habia ni una sola silla.

Apesar do hotel figurar como 4 estrelas, não condiz com o propagado. Poderia ter sido na sua inauguração. Atendimento sisudo, sem atenção. Instalações defasadas. Café da manhã deveria iniciar as oito horas e iniciou com atraso de vinte minutos. Isso interfere em quem tem horário para chegar a outro destino, como era nosso caso.
