to start Hotels.com messed up my booking. I asked for 2 rooms in 1 apartment. they booked me 2 apartments and would not refund one of them. I contacted the hotel and explained im a single mother with a disabled adult who needs one to one and a child. The hotel said they couldnt refund either but would take it higher. thats the last i heard about it. so i paid for an apartment that was empty. As for the apartments, the shower was broken in one of them, would not stay in holder so had to hold it while trying to shower. both flooded and the bathrooms stunk of drains. The extractor fan above the hob
was hanging off. . broken sofa. no kettle. No AC, really hard to sleep. The beds had 2 thin mattresses on top of each other , which slipped apart from each other, you were lucky not to wake up on the floor. The pool closed about 8. the pool bar closed at 5 or sometimes earlier. no other means of getting drinks, food or snacks. no entertainment at all, not even a pool table or swing. No ball games anywhere, not even in the pool.
You were not allowed anywhere on the property after 10 in the evening, except for your own balcony, which had only one chair for 3 people. would definitely not recommend to families. had we not had trips booked each day my children would have been so bored.
The only good thing was the friendly staff

Front desk was very helpful and kind. Our room was quite far from reception so the wifi did not work.
It is close to everything - supermarkets, beach, restos, etc.
We did not experience any of the amenities (pools, etc.

This place was a 3 minute walk to the beach and there were lots of places near by to eat and pubs. A 10 minute walk to the Yumbo Centre, and there is a five minute walk to the bus stop. We took a cab ride there from the airport and took the bus back, #66, each taking the same amount of time. The reason we did not take it from the airport was because we would not know where to get off. We had a nice little apartment with a huge balcony. They cleaned every second day.
The staff there were friendly and helpful, while there I needed to see a dentist. The receptionist found me one near by with a same day appointment.

Sewage stink outside area

We normally get a balcony,this was first time we got a ground floor apartment. My husband complained 3 days in there was a strong smell of sewage coming in,receptionist said she'd look into it. This was happening from the first day,we stupidly gave the benefit of it going away. He went to another receptionist, she got maintenance to fix it. Most of the holiday was ruined by this stink when we sat out in the outside space. Disgusting,prob won't be going back to Amazonas

Everything was great. We swapped the room with one on the 1st floor which we liked more. It was not an issue to the concierge. Both rooms were clean and nice, we liked the second one more though. In the room there was TV, kettle, hob, microwave. All really clean. Plenty of dishes and cutlery too! Anyway, will definitely come back!

This place really needs a refuel, very dated and no air conditioning in this day and age is shocking! Yes it’s cheap and exceptionally clean but so tired and almost impossible to sleep at night, also the pillows were awful so uncomfortable… this place needs to feel loved again by new management.

This location was close to everything, the shopping center, dining and the beach. The room was large enough and overlooked the pool. Two block walk to the beach via the back gate. The staff were friendly and well versed in several languages. I would recommend Apartamentos Amazonas to anyone looking for location and economy.

The location of this property was great for me as it was close to the beach and only 10 mins walk from the gay party area of the Yumbo Centre. The actual apartments are totally serviceable if a little dated and are kept very clean (the cleaner visited almost daily). The only downside was the infuriating WiFi. It constantly kept dropping out and was especially a nightmare if you own Apple products which I had to regularly take to the reception to get them to sign it back in for me and on that note let me just say that the staff here are their greatest resource. They were friendly, attentive, helpful and professional.

At a nice place just a few minutes walk from the beach and close to Kasbah, where you can find small shops and a good bar for dancing. Room was clean though everything is pretty old and worn out but everything worked well. The staff was great and helpfull. The wifi didn't work all the time even though we were at the second floor near the reception. The pool area was good and well taken care off.

Amazingly friendly reception staff. The apartment was of a good standard and spotlessly clean for the price paid. The pool was very good and overall cannot fault a thing. One of the few stays I have had where they could not have done anything better.

Overall enjoyed stay at Apartamentos Amazonas. Great location of hotel. Unfortunately one member of reception staff messed up with regards to giving out timely information about shared minibus pickup to airport. Hotel clean and staff generally very friendly and professional. Would stay there again.

Good location close to the beach, restaurants and bars and transport links to other resorts. The room was a bit dated with many cigarette burns all around even in the fridge. When entered into the room, it was clean but never cleaned properly for the rest of our stay. Because of the exact location of our room and thanks to our \"neighbors\" it was very noisy especially in the evening. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a nice hotel in a good location. Short path from back gate to the beach. Spacious room. This is a value hotel and go in with that criteria and you will be happy. No a/c, which was fine as you get a cross breeze with patio and bedroom windows open. Bathroom is clean, just can get a little musty as no air flow or exhaust fan in our bathroom. Small supermarket next door for food and drinks. Staff was appropriately friendly and always helpful with our questions.

Where do you start with how bad this hotel is
Got there put in corner room opposite a smokers room so couldn't sit on balcony or have patio doors open asked to move and was put on ground floor and all night you got cars parking and delivery vans as you had to have the windows open as there was no air conditioning in the apartment

Very nice stay here.All you need regards self catering accomodation.Central enough to most shopping centres,and pleasant staff, easy check in-out.Only slight gripe wi-fi connection not great, but that's not such a bad thing.

we stayed only 3 days and the hotel staff during our stay were excellent,we mainly went out for our meals, yumbo is within walking distance, holiday world is about 3km, taxi to holiday world is 4 euros, beach walking is very very near.
there is no air condition at amazonas..

Cliente assíduo a alguns anos , os anos vão passando e vamos vendo que o o apartamento está a precisar de algumas melhorias , balde de wc com a tampa partida , armários da cozinha a serem refeitos , limpeza feita 4 dias sobre 7 nem sempre no top , estamos numa zona de praia e não percebo que não se varra e limpe o chão , aconteceu duas vezes ! Reclamamos e vieram a seguir mas isso nunca aconteceu nos outros anos !

L’hôtel reste agréable malgré une certaine vétusté. Beaucoup regrettent l’absence de climatisation, mais elle ne m’a pas semblé nécessaire. En revanche, la literie mériterait d’être renouvelée, tout comme le petit électroménager : grille-pain hors service, bouilloire qui fuit, cafetière italienne trop petite. La piscine est un vrai point fort : chauffée, toujours super propre, avec un personnel très présent. Ils veillent à ce que les transats ne soient pas \"réservés\" indûment, ce qui est appréciable. La localisation est idéale : proche de la plage et à 15 minutes à pieds du Yumbo, stationnement relativement facile avec une voiture de location. Mais ce qui a vraiment marqué notre séjour, c’est Anna, notre femme de chambre, et Marluz, le vigile de nuit. Leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur professionnalisme ont été exceptionnels. Toujours souriants, attentionnés et à l’écoute, ils ont largement compensé les petits désagréments évoqués. Ils méritent clairement une reconnaissance, voire une augmentation ! Grâce à eux, l’Amazonas garde tout son éclat et nous reviendrons.

Horrible! Impossible de fermer l'oeil. Les murs, plafonds ne sont pas du tout insonorisés. Si vos voisins se lèvent du lit de la nuit, vous les entendrez. Vous imaginez le reste... De plus, forcer les clients à porter un bracelet.. ce n'est pas le club Med! Les chambres au rez de chaussée donnent sur le parking. Donc vous serez réveillés si une voiture se parquent dans celui-ci. Le réceptionniste de l'après-midi était agréable et m'a renseigné. Celle du matin, il fallait lui tirer sa bonne humeur... Pas un bonjour, ni même un au revoir. Je ne comprends pas l'utilité de la consigne de 50€ non plus. A quoi sert elle puisqu elle est rendue sans même que l'appartement ait pu être vérifié ? Pour 75€ par nuit, vous trouverez mieux ailleurs assurément.

Godt hotel/lejlighed for pengene 😊

Godt hotel for pengene, ser lidt slidt ud med god pool og bar 😊.. Der er masser af mennesker i poolen og børn og unge mennesker der hygger sig også om aftenen/natten (nok fordi det er et billigt hotel) Men det er til at holde ud.
Hvis man vil have det helt stille, skal man nok ikke vælge dette hotel.

Que avisen con tiempo para llevar los 50€ de fianza preparados ya q yo en mi caso solo funciono con tarjeta, las colchonetas de las tumbonas están demacradas habría que cambiarlas y que las propias amacas se pudieran poner en posición de sentado ya que todo el día acostado cansa.

El mobiliario antiguo, techo de la cocina roto de humedad, ruido y discusiones a altas horas dentro del complejo. Nos dijeron por telefono, que por cada niño extra eran 15e y cobraron 20e. Dificultad máxima para conseguir aparcamiento.

Receptionisten verkade tycka att man störde och svarade knapphändigt på de frågor jag hade.
Hon fixade taxi när jag åkte och var hjälpsam då.
Kanske lite sent påkommet…
Fanns inte något i poolbaren att äta.

Appartement sans prétention. Il y ce qu'il faut à tous les niveaux. La literie est moyenne. A moins 10mn de la plage à pied par un passage discret.
Les matelas des transats ont vécu mais sont en quantité suffisante pour en trouver un de disponible à tout moment de la journée. Le ménage est fait 5 jours sur 7. L'exposition de l'immeuble vous garanti du soleil à la piscine du matin au soir.Globalement un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Et greit hotell sentralt i Playa del Ingles

Vi hadde et fint opphold på Amazonas, meget hyggelig betjening og morsom katt (Leo) Hotellet er gammelt og har litt umoderne stil og kunne ha trengt en oppussing, litt nittitall over det hele men grei standard og ikke minst rent og ryddig over alt. Vi drar gjerne tilbake dit neste gang.

Greit hotell med meget sentral beliggenhet

Vi hadde 3 fine uker på hotellet. Hotellet er sentralt med kort vei til strand / strandpromenade. Betjening var meget servicevennlig og renhold var utmerket. Anlegget var jevnt over greit vedlikeholdt og det var greit å komme seg rundt med elektrisk rullestol. Alltid ledige solsenger siden folk ikke drev å reserverte. Wifi / TV fungerte svært dårlig så vi brukte mobilnett og hadde med en TV Stick for tilgang til TV / Netflix.

Hinta/laatusuhde hyvä. Ei mikään huippumajoituspaikka, mutta edullinen. Sijainti loistava, lähin kauppa ihan kulman takana. Huonona puolena se, että äänet kuului tosi hyvin huoneeseen.

Helt OK, men med mangler....

Amazonas har en meget hyggelig betjening som er på vakt 24/7, slik at du alltid får hjelp om du trenger dette.

Det ligger i et \"rolig\" område, men musikk og en litt ivrig brannalarm kan virke forstyrrende. Ellers var det en meget sentral plassering og vi hadde en flott ferie.

Så over til det so mer ganske tragisk, internett/wifi samt de lovede skandinaviske TV kanalene. Dette var rene sorgen, wifi virket kun 20% av tiden, og da var det også kjempe tregt. TV kanaler frøs og du fikk ikke sett noe.

PS! Det hadde vært en enorm oppgradering om det hadde blitt installert aircondition på soverommene!!

Personalen trevlig o hjälpsam. Hotellet skulle behöva en liten upprustning. Saknades lampor o lite diverse men det fixades efter vi pratat med personalen. Poolen fin men det finns inget att äta i poolbaren. Kunde ha nån sandwich eller nån form av smörgås. Hade inte heller öppet varje dag. Men hotellet är billigt o ligger bra
