Bad terri le onternet connection we were there for 4days and could not talk to our family we went to the front desk and complained they changed pur room and we still could not watch abday of TV..All we wanted to see was the news
.terriblecservice only a few like in the whole hotel onlyv2 staff speak english..CRAZZZZY it was difficult to communicate the the staff if thec2 guys not there who speak English..ver clean though...very limited towels novtowels tovshow with the house keeping sain shower with jands then dry with towels...we dont dhower like that back home...very terrible service...very nice hotel yhough

The property had missing parts of it drywall, the mattresses we unbearable to sleep on, we had to buy foam to put on the mattresses and didn't get much sleep because it was so bad. The water took at least 20 minutes to warm up and the mini split air conditioner did not work well. I would never stay in this hotel again.

For this budget price I just hope for clean and safe. However the room’s door handle was loose and barely locked, felt very insecure. Mattresses had plastic covering under sheets so very hot. Housekeeping did not service the room but took away all the towels (which were hung up, not on floor) and refused to replace them unless they were tipped. Fridge in room very noisy. Generally, the room and hotel smelled like mildew/mould.

El hotel bien, camas cómodas, desafortunadamente la habitación no tenia ni teléfono ni plancha, que son básicas, pero tenia horno de microondas y frigobar que no son basicos. Creo que un enchufe mas puedo haber sido funcional ya que eramos dos y no podiamos conectar dos celulares a la hora de dormir.

The location is excellent, very close to Quinta Avenida, but without the noise. An easy walk from the ADO bus station. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great options for food and all amenities. The beach is super easy to access. All in all, for the price,I really enjoyed my stay here. Would stay here again.

Todo estuvo muy bien está en muy buena ubicación todo cerca , dos opción es para ir a desayunar en lo incluido uno cruzando la callle y el otro a la vuelta de la casa esquina suficiente para un desayuno , las camas un poquito duras , y solo de noche salen cucarachas chiquitas especialmente en el baño , hay que tener cuidados para cuando uno ponga sus cosas de regreso en la maletas no llevarlas de recuerdo 😁pero en si , estuvo bien la estancia son amables en recepción .

This hotel is an okay option just for 1 night. But I could not stay there longer. The hotel is outdated and dirty. The lobby and inside area next to the lobby look interesting and kind of stylish. But my room was awful! It reminded me a road motel’s room. I payed aprox $27 per night with all taxes included, and I believe this price is right for the hotel’s quality.

Nice hotel for a good price. Balcony was nice to sit out on with nice breeze. Everything very clean but the bed was a little hard. No elevator on the side I was on. Good staff and friendly. Close to everything and walkable to beach, restaurants and bars.

Wow - not in a good way

When booked, wasn't clear that location wasn't in the hotel but a few blocks away. Instead of daily housekeeping as advertised, it was every 3 days. Parking was offsite at the main hotel.

Condition of room - atrocious at best. Bug infested plumbing fixtures - creepy crawlers coming through drains. Toilet permanently ringed in brown stained colour. You can get locked on room - need a key to get in and out of room. Very dangerous in case of fire or emergency.

We spent 2 weeks from Nov23- Dec 7 . The hotel is clean and basic. The pool is small but well maintained and refreshing. We were upgraded free of charge to a superior room that included continental breakfast in the restaurant below. The food was excellent and full breakfasts were well prepared and extremely cheap! The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring Playa,3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from 5th and walmart. Service was excellent .Be aware there is no elevator and there are 18 steps to each level with the pool on the roof.There is a safe and a small bar fridge in the room but no coffee maker. Staff lugged our stuff up to our room for us which was very appreciated! I absolutely would reccomend this hotel for anyone traveling on a budget.

This hotel is located about 2 blocks from 5th avenue. It is clean and well cared for. Everything is walkig distance and they do have a covered parking lot. There is a rooftop pool and a park across the street.

This Hotel is the perfect location by all the stores and restaurants you need. I'm really disappointed in the 3-star review that was given because this hotel is easily 5 stars based on the location and the super friendly staff. I would recommend it to families who need to frequent Walmart often, you know, because of emergencies with the littles. I will always pick Sahara when in PDC!

Our stay was alright. A lot of the listed hotel amenities where actually just local attractions. For example there is no gym or casino. There was one half of the hotel that had been renovated and another that is not. Wifi and bed were not great. Location and price is great.

A well-located basic hotel. I didn't get a chance to see the pool, but you can get a light simple breakfast of fruit, toast and coffee at a restaurant next door. I thought the shower was great, with wonderful water pressure, but I wish there was a blanket for the bed. When I asked, they said after 10pm they couldn't help me, since all that was locked up

Good location if you like to walk around town. A/c worked great,room and bath were very clean. Breakfast is at an adjacent restaurant, front desk gives you a small item to give them for breakfast. Breakfast is 1 cup coffee, 1 glass fresh orange juice and melon. Halls and room are tile so noice carries, had a loud kid on my floor and the whole floor could hear the screaming kid.

The best thing about this hotel was its location and friendly staff. I think that was enought to avoid thinking about the disadvantages: poor Wifi, no room to leave your bags after check out and a very poor breakfast. It is convenient because of the price but if you have a higher budget, definitely go for a better investment.

My coworker was scheduled to stay on business purposes from the 20th to the 27th of August and at the very first night someone break into her room and steal her purse, wallet and jewelry while she was inside the bedroom sleeping around 1 am!!!
Next day instead of work, she needed it to go to the police hopping to have the Hotel's support, but this was EXTREMELY poor, no video recording was provided or any additional information.
We go every month for business purposes and we are VERY careful when choosing a Hotel. Koox, La Pasion, 770 or One are affordable and good location hotels where we have been stayed for the same price. DON'T STAY at this one, specially if you are bringing nice stuff, most likely you will be stripped of them as soon as the thieves are aware.

The standard double room with 2 queen size beds was on the smaller size, but perfect for two if you plan to spend minimal time in the hotel (i.e.: beach, bars, travel to Tulum for the day, etc.).

Grungy hotel with no amenities

The first room we were given was filthy, old stained bedding no hand towels or soap, ect....We asked to be moved or refunded. No refunds but they moved us up a floor the next day which was better but still not great. Upper floors have small balconies nice to sit outside but all of them are street view. We walked to Walmart and the Mega (2 and 5 blocks away) and bought a few things to make the room more comfortable. Front desk staff were nice though. Sent our laundry to be done and it was practically free and back the next day. 3 block walk to the ocean, but a longer walk to a nicer beach. 2 blocks to 5th Ave -the shopping strip, lots of great restaurants but pricy for Mexico. Great one Don Marios an Italian place 1 block towards the water. This place is kitty corner from the city hall park, their Carnival was happening during our stay so it was very loud. Thumping bass till 2am every night. I would recommend asking about the park before staying here! Overall I would expect to pay less for this budget hotel, I'm not picky.

Nice hotel but we found we had to ask for linens when we arrived. Hand towels were not provided until requested. Rooms are not sound proof. Linens could use improvement. Some of ours had holes. Shower curtain would be helpful. Also more lighting. Very dark otherwise.

The room was tiny and the beds were awful. This had run down rooms and I'd be surprised if they could even get a 2 star rating in the US. Staying at a hostel would have been nicer. I wish I could get my money back for this stay as I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Absolutely not worth full price. Great location but that's the only positive thing. Bring your own amenities because you are not getting any, not even the free bottled of water-both heavily advertise on internet. They also charge a commission for using credit cards.

Fue un viaje en familia, ocupamos varias habitaciones, en general todo estuvo como en la publicidad.
Nos tocó en fechas de el carnaval, fuera de eso todo bien.
El estacionamiento está limitado a 10 plazas, pónganse en contacto tal vez tu reserva lo incluye, en caso de que no puedes separar con un costo adicional.

Le falta mucho mantenimiento al hotel, esta muy descuidado. El aire acondicionado no enfría y lo tenia a 16 grados, el ventilador hace bastante ruido, el frigobar olía mal, y el desayuno muy raquitico y muy mala antesion.
El restaurant no depende del hotel es subrogado y solo tienes derecho a huevo con jamón y chorizo, café y jugo.
Muy mala calidad por cierto.

Had a one day stop in Playa. When I got to the hotel, they told me they were overbooked, and said they had booked me a complimentary stay at the Vista Caribe several blocks away (but closer to the ocean). So, my room at the Vista Caribe was great! It was a lot bigger than I expected - two storeys, two huge beds, two full bathrooms. Two big problems though - no wifi and no hot water. The lack of hot water was annoying. Anyhow, I can’t speak to the quality of the Sahara, sorry.

Gute Location, der Ort ist ordentlich jedoch sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Erinnert in seiner Aufmachung eher an eine Jugendherberge als an ein Hotel. In Anbetracht der Preisrelation würde ich eher ein Hotel wählen welches zu dem Preis tatsächlich drei Sterne liefert

Local bem abaixo do que esperava com as fotos e descrição.
Problemas do quarto: sem lâmpadas, paredes sujas, TV não funcionava direito, ar condicionado ligava com muita dificuldade, microondas deveria estar no quarto mas tive que pedir e esperar para 1 dia para instalar, janelas do banheiro nao abriam.

Em resumo hotel mal conservado.

En general el hotel está bien, sin embargo, algo que nos incomodó mucho es que el personal (tanto de recepción, como de limpieza) no está con cubrebocas lo cual nos dejó pensando en que si esa medida tan básica en estos tiempos no la siguen,¿que pasará con todo lo demás?.

De igual manera,nos tocaron habitaciones en el edificio nuevo por lo que las instalaciones se encuentran bien pero debido a que tiene una entrada por un costado del hotel (no por el lobby), cualquier persona puede entrar sin que el personal lo note, además que la misma situación sucede en el estacionamiento que permanece con el portón sin seguro y sin personal.

El punto a favor es su cercanía a la 5ta avenida pero definitivamente no lo contemplaría para volver a hospedarme.

Nao me hospedaria de novo, mas pode ser uma opção ok para quem procura somente localização. A água do banho porém era boa. Mas tivemos uma confusão na chegada que só foi resolvida quando provei que busquei por estacionamento incluído. Queriam cobrar 100 pesos pela noite, que não é muito mas eu busquei algo com estacionamento incluído. Ficamos lá pela localização e o hotel parecia modesto mas bom porém chegando lá não achamos isso. Para uma estadia muito rápida e prática ok.

Rigtig god oplevelse

Havde et dobbeltværelse og var rummeligt til 2 personer, rummet fremstår lidt slidt, men der er køleskab og tv med mange kanaler og engelske.
Der dejligt varmt vand og der er godt tryk på bruseren (hvilket ellers er svært at finde i PDC). Rengøring og skift af håndklæder hverdag supergodt.
Der kunne godt bruges nogle flere solsengen ved poolen.
Super søde personale, der gør alt for at hjælpe dig.
Rigtig god morgenmads buffet.
Indimellem (ikke hver nat eller hveranden, men engang imellem) er der dog en natklub i nærhed der spiller meget højt og langt ud på natten, men der ses at være lydisolerede ruder i værelset, der tager det meste lyd men ikke det hele, med et par earplugs så sover man godt.
Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse med gode personer på hotellet.

Og hotellet ligger meget centralt til alt. Jeg kommer gerne igen.

Hotel com estrutura muito velha, chuveiro demora 30 minutos, fiz uma reserva com estacionamento gratuito e chegando quiseram cobrar à parte, então tive de deixar o carro na rua, café da manhã repetitivo e com poucas opções, recepção debochada, internet não funciona nos quartos, cobertor de camas péssimo, se assemelha a um tapete, iluminação do quarto precária, banheiro sem box, apenas uma cortina, com a porta aberta impede uso do banheiro, sabonete oferecido fede muito. De bom somente a localização.

We were directed to a separate building two blocks away from the main building where the pool and service is. The separate building contains the apartments and their appearance were not that clean and nice, but in the end we liked it nevertheless. There were wifi problems in the room, but we were able to use the wifi in the main building. The staff was very helpful and nice.

La verdad solo reservamos dos noches y nos cambiamos de hotel la mañana siguiente. Para el precio que pagamos y solo nos hospedanos ahi por las mascotas no vale la pena. Por 500 pesos mas nos hospedamos en otro lugar mil veces mejor, nuevo y gratis las mascotas. No pudimos dormir toda la noche, porque las camas no son nada cómodas, las sabanas parecen de un motel de paso, sin papel de baño, el ventilador no funcionaba bien. Del persobal solo hubo un chavo que se porto muy amable de ahi en fuera decepcionante.

Tuve una estadía de 14 días y tanto el hotel, como sus instalaciones y la atención de Massimo, Alberto, Cora y Marlene fue más que optima. Su ubicación es excelente y seguramente volveré a elegirlos.

Tres bien situé!

Bel endroit tranquille bien situé Près de l’action de la ville! La piscine était bien, le personnel toujours très gentil et accueillant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. J’y retournerais et je recommande!

Jai reserve mon hotel via hotels.com une fois arrivee a playa del carmen et ca etait super rapide et serieux. Lhotel se situe a 1 min de la 5 eme avenue. Service tres sympat et a l'écoute je recommande fortement cet etablissement. Un petit dej se faisait dans un restaut a cote de lhotel. Merci a toute lequipe de sahara hotel.

次回があるかは分からない

ダイビングの為に行ったので、ショップに近くて便利でした。5番街もすぐで、ウォルマートも近いです。せっかく朝食付きなのに7時半〜なのでダイビングに間に合わなくて食べられませんでした。7時から開けてくれたら食べられたのに。Wi-Fiはサクサクです。気になったのはシャワーが上からの固定でチョロチョロしか出ないのでこれは不満かな。タオルもちゃんと洗濯してあるのは分かりますがかなり使い込んでいるのと、小タオルは無し。タオルかける場所もないです。安いし立地はとても良かった！
