The property & room were great. Only problem is I booked through Expedia; I booked for 2 nights but could only make the 2nd night. I was fine with paying for the first night I didn't use because I was outside the cancellation window. But when I called (which took 3 tries to get past the unhelpful IVR systems... really, the automated system sucks) to tell them I wouldn't be there to check in the first night but to keep my reservation for the 2nd, they said, \"Well, what's your Santa Ana itinerary number?\"
Well, I didn't get a Santa Ana #, just an Expedia #. They said I'd lose my 2nd night because I'd be considered a no-call/no-show. I'm like, \"But I'm calling you now!\" Nope, said to call Expedia. Well, Expedia was useless. So, I ended up driving 11 miles to check in for a room I didn't even need for the night just so I wouldn't lose - and pay! - for the 2nd night.
Santa Ana must get tons of 3rd-party reservations, they should really try to coordinate better. That said, the room & property were great.

Said there was absolutely no way he could allow us into the pool, as it was after checkout time -- by two minutes. Sorry Charlie, hope you enjoyed your stay, now get out!

This place is a lovely looking ghost town. The parking lot is empty. They have nothing but slots. No poker. Very disappointed. Booked the Sandia Resort and Casino up the road the following night, which was AMAZING.
We had a bad experience. If it weren't for that incident, I would have given them at least 4 stars. You may have a wonderful visit, as long as nothing like this happens to you.

Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was incredibly spacious and clean. This was our second time staying here and would not stay anywhere else. The restaurants are amazing as well. Quezada’s has amazing food and drinks, I only wish they were opened additional days. Juniper was amazing as always. Best filet mignon in the US. We can’t wait to return next time. The only complaint, which isn’t really a complaint is the kids. Last time we stayed, kids weren’t allowed. This time, kids were everything and screaming and running the halls. No one’s fault, just made it difficult to relax at 9/10pm at night. We hope to see you all again soon!

The bedding was dirty and the phone did not work. They said they would compensate our stay some way and it has been a week and have not heard anything back on what will be done about the issues. The phone not working is a safety and security issue and the dirty bed is bad hygiene. Not sure I would recommend anyone stay here.
