The place is beautiful BUT there is zero atmosphere. The food and drinks are so expensive even for ibiza and it’s just a pretty boring place to be honest. Had high hopes but wouldn’t recommend this unless you are looking for a very chilled atmosphere and want to remortgage your house.

At first glance, this hotel seemed promising. The staff were polite and welcoming, the pool was nice, and the property itself gave off the impression of being a solid choice. I would have given it maybe a 7.5/10, mainly because it wasn’t the cleanest place — the rooms and facilities could definitely use more attention.

But all of that is nothing compared to what actually happened. We were robbed inside our own room. Yes, you read that right. A t-shirt — a personal belonging — was stolen from our luggage while we were staying here. Some may think, “it’s only a t-shirt,” but let me be absolutely clear: when you pay to stay at a hotel, you are not just paying for a bed and a pool, you are paying for safety, security, and peace of mind.

The idea that someone could enter our room, go through our things, and actually take something is shocking. It left us feeling unsafe, violated, and betrayed. How can a hotel function if guests cannot trust that their belongings will remain untouched behind closed doors?

No matter how nice the staff may appear, no matter how pleasant the pool might be, this one incident overshadowed everything else. The management needs to understand that theft inside a hotel room is not a small matter. It is a complete failure of trust, and it ruined what could have been a decent stay.

The good: It’s a beautiful resort, so tastefully appointed. Service is very good, everyone is very attentive. Buffet breakfast is great - loads of options. Free entry to Pacha and the Destino party is a bonus. Free parking. Great hairdryer in the room. Comfortable beds.

The bad: poor communication at check-in. We had half-board, which means breakfast and dinner is included but we weren’t told this. We didn’t find it out until halfway through the stay. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room everyday. We weren’t told that the cans of water in the room were complimentary. We were told we needed to reserve beds by the pool in advance, which we did but when we turned up, there was no booking.

I wound still stay here again though, now that I have all the details figured out.

I regret staying here. The room was tiny and there were lots of ants in it as it was on the ground floor. Design errors in the room like there were no hooks or anywhere to hang a bath towel was annoying. Also, the location was great if you want to hang at the pool w a nice view but it was too far to walk to any town or beach. I’m bummed we wasted our time there & missed out on the beaches.

My biggest complaint is the scheme they run with alcohol there. You can’t get alch drinks via room service (we all love a drink while getting ready or a night cap!!) the pool bar closes at 8pm, and the alcohol bottles they put on display in the room to entice people cost hundreds even for cheap basic brands. prices are only written in fine print in the back of a booklet. Literally a tiny less than 750ml bottle of Ciroc ($25 in the US) costs $300!! HA!! I can easily afford that but it’s the PRINCIPAL. They know people are going to be desperate and get robbed without realizing it. It’s unethical. Sure certain bottles like Clase Azul are always expensive, I get that price, but the majority of them were literally priced hundreds over retail. Sketchy.

Also, we ordered room service and they got our order wrong not once but 3 times in a row. And it was so simple. I’m bilingual so there was no language barrier either. We had to wait hours before we got the right items. Because of this we missed our plans and our whole night got screwed up. The pool service was very slow & unorganized too.

Hotel has so much potential, but it doesnt function in a way that makes yourbstay seamless. Twin booking wasnt available, we had to chase for our rooms to be cleaned, the bathroom is very small and slippy, and staff arent always attentive particularly around the restaurant.

Stopped here a few times now (Twice just this year) However we'd consider elsewhere next time especially if a nights stay clashes with the Music on party. They kind of alienate you if your checkout falls on the day of the party - Our flight unfortunately was a late one out and we was originally told to vacate our room on que, no extra time and also at first to vacate the premises immediately and you couldnt use the Sunbeds etc because Music on guests would be paying for them. Thought this was a bit ignorant considering we'd spent a fortune there and in Pacha for just the 3 days we stopped. Anyway after further discussion and telling them our evening flight out was now going to be even later (Delayed) they let us use the shower room and said we could use the restaurant area (Again whilst paying for drinks/Food). Weve stopped before with no Music on party and they had no problem with us using Pool facilties and gave us an extension on the room when the flight was in the evening. So just beware.

Having a bathroom with a door is not an upgraded but a basic expectation, we had a room with NO door the bath shower area and were told all rooms were the same until 2 nights later we asked other people and found out it was a lie, after complaining we were ‘upgraded’ to a room with a door. I’m sorry but this is a basic expectation.

The property is located outside of the party zone which I personally enjoyed. It’s has a nice Spanish vibe and it’s not a massive resort like some other ones in Ibiza. The beach club is a plus as there are people coming from outside. Daily guest DJs at the pool is also a plus. Great music. Dining was limited and very pricey for the quality of food. No other food options near the property. No grocery store. No coffee shop. Nowhere to get snacks etc. There is no coffee in the rooms which for the price was shocking to me. Also, fridge can only be used if planning to use the items inside which requires a €400 or €500 deposit. Not sure how people that require the fridge for insulin or other medications bypass this. The only item in the room that’s complementary was two small cans of water.

The grounds were very pretty and the food at the restaurant was very good but I didn’t know there was a party at the pool every day. I did not use the pool once. I knew they had parties but I didn’t know it was every day. Also the gym was very bad. They have space for a nice gym but it was absolutely hideous. I will not stay there again. Definitely not worth the price.

If you are looking for a pretty party pad this is great, but if you want good service look elsewhere. All the staff does is blame each other. We were supposed to have a car-that we asked for and never saw. We arranged a pick up from port that never arrived despite being told it was confirmed. We emailed and texted to confirm and no one even answers the phone at the hotel. We told the concierge and he accused me of lying. They clearly love to take American money and then make fun of Americans. Great party, terrible staff. Have respect for the guests and their time. No one explained you need a reservation at the pool or restaurant even if a guest. They were both empty at the time! I inquired for weeks about special reservations I could make and got no reply. Only to find out they had a Leo party (it was my husbands Leo bday) and told us they had no spots left even though we booked the most expensive room they sell. All in all we made it a great time despite their snickers and rudeness at every request.

The hotel pool, lobby, rooms, and outdoor areas are very pretty. It feels like a large villa kind of vibe. The regular rooms are very small so keep that in mind when booking one that is not a suite. Third time here, still nice but service was less good this time, did not like my room, booked a superior garden room and I think I got the worst little garden available on the property. Rooms are starting to need a bit more maintenance, bathroom and shower especially. Very annoying fact that each time we would come back to the room after maid service the air conditioner would be blowing at 19 and the room would be freezing cold after a hot day.
Pool service much appreciated and the menu and food is perfect .

Hotel itself is lovely and pool/lounger fantastic.
It’s very expensive though but still had to ask daily for room supplies to be restocked and the hotel is quite isolated and only one very expensive restaurant with tiny portion sizes. If you want to explore further it’s a (cheap) taxi ride to the nearest restaurants or a walk along a beautiful cliff walkway. But not particularly convenient for most other things right if you want to buy own supplies.
Beds very comfortable but our room was quite space limited for 2 people.

Fabulous Break with the girls

Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it for people looking for a short break.

The pros:
Overall very helpful staff, particularly reception - easy check in and check out process.
Great people watching around the pool
Excellent communal areas, plenty of seating, sunloungers, funky background music, clean, neat grounds etc
Excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice (as it should be for 30 Euros!)
We had a room at the back and found it peaceful. They provide towels, nice toiletries, toothbrushes etc.
Big night is Thursday night at Rumors.

The cons:
Unfortunately we felt the rooms were not up to much at all (probably more like a 2 star rating). Very small room, disappointing shower room, no tea/coffee making facilities. It was very basic and the bathroom needed work (taps covered in limescale etc). There was a mirrored ceiling in our twin room - felt that money could have been better spent elsewhere!
We were charged11 Euros for a 750ml bottle of still water in the restaurant. I accept they need to charge for these things but I think that is disgusting. I have never spent over €5 for a bottle of water in a 5 star hotel.
The second night we got back from dinner at about 1.30am and ordered 4 glasses of Champagne from the bar and went and sat on a sofa (about 5 metres from the bar) and the barman actually shouted over that he wouldn't bring them over to us! At €20 a glass it would have been lovely for him to show a bit of customer service!

Definitely a nice hotspot to stay at. Expect very high prices for tiny rooms and drinks. Even the basic Orange Juice was 18 euros.

Rooms could be taken more care of, For $700 a night not even toiletries were in place some of the days and even once our room wasn't clean.

Good parties, nice people, good pool area.

If you really are not fixated on the rooms itself then its a great choice.

Pool, Breakfast and that's about it.

You're paying for the pool and breakfast. Those are both incredible, whether it's looking at the beautiful people floating around trying to be the next instagram model or scrafing down some of the freshest eggs and fruit in the world---money well spent. The rooms are more befitting of a Vietnamese junk boat. Small, cramped and tiresome. Seriously, they're on par with what you'd find in a mid-market Tokyo hotel. Suck in your gut. The service is either hit or miss. Reception is great but the pool staff plays big favorites with the high rollers so you could get stuck with a scowl and slow service when you order the 40 Euro bottle of white. The hotel is also in the middle of nowhere, so appropriate 60-100 Euro a day for taxis if you want to see and experience Ibiza. There's free parking if you rent a car. If all you want to do is look at beautiful people and make your friends jealous on Snapchat, stay here, if you want space and centralized locale---do not.

We stayed at Destino for a bachelor party and it was just awesome: great hotel, great service and good food. 2 downsides though: hotel is far from everything and there werent that many taxis there so sometimes we waited 20 to 30 minutes for one. Additionally the blackout courtains on the room were not dark enough so too much light.

Stylish hotel that embodies the heart of Ibiza. The property and grounds are wonderful. Spread out design allows the landscape, design, and beautiful weather shine. The restaurants, pools, and bars offer a peaceful retreat from the often chaotic nightlife in Ibiza. Loved the resort. Would definitely go again. Everything you need for a R&R break. Good was especially good and loved the juice and smoothie bar.

Beautiful resort that embodies Ibiza's feel

Resort was beautiful. It was awesome during the day and just as beautiful lit up at night. Staff was super helpful. They were well trained and professional, but personal and not robots like the high end places can be (in the US).

Amazing resort in Ibiza

I had seen less than perfect reviews about Destino online, but decided to give it a shot, and I am so glad I did. The rooms are not huge but very nice and clean, and they have a very nice and cute balcony. The staff are super nice and helpful, and the pool area is absolutely amazing and fun. I would highly recommend this hotel to any friend.

Fantastic Experience

This hotel is a a real life fantasy experience. Social heaven . The best pool surround by the most beautiful woman . Service is surprisingly excellent for Spain standards. Luciano and Solomun playing in the hotel poolside was a huge bonus
