The room was in very good condition and the staff, especially the cleaning staff are very courteous. The reason why I only give them 3 starts is because their gym is a left down. The 2 stationary bikes are damaged and I reported that back in August the last time I was there. Weights sets are missing and incomplete. One treadmill is broken and the other one is on its way.

Breakfast was good for the most part, however, it was not quickly replenished when there was a large number of guests coming out for breakfast. Otherwise, the location was good for our purposes, rooms are relatively small but in great conditions and everything was pretty clean. I would definitely come back here!

El desayuno es lo mismo todos los dias que es bueno si reservas solo por una noche tienen una maquina de cafe italiana que solo sirve espresso y cafe grande y agua caliente asi que si eres un executivo y te gusta el cafe gourmet tienes que salir de prisa a buscarlo y olvidarte del desayuno .La alberca se disfruta para pasar dias agradables Los empleados de reception exelente trabajo Las habitaciones muy limpias no te recomiendo una habitacion en los pisos 6 y7 por que en la noche el ducto de ventilacion en el ban̈o hace un ruido que tal vez no lo soportes.para ser un hotel express es bueno pero para ser de express by marriot deberia ser mucho mejor.

The hotel was pretty bare bones, which was fine because it’s what we expected. The problems was the vending machine took only coins and they couldn’t provide change. The elevator smelled like vomit and the AC in the room was angled in a way to blow on your face while you are sleeping. We ended up leaving a day early even though we prepaid…

The hoyel generally needs maintenance, there is a lack of lighting, the bathrooms are in poor condition, very noisy outdoor areas, a crib was requested and they didn't have one, there were no towels in the room, etc., etc.

Terrible service. Reception was very unfriendly. Stephanie in particular was rude and out of touch with the guests. She decided to change our room without notice at 11 at night. She lied to the guests about the change and then was rude to her colleagues for questioning her reasons. She made me miss my flight and said the did not care. Save yourself! Do not stay here!

A non-luxury luxury hotel with a very basic breakfast. However, the rooms (yet basic) are very clean and the staff was superfriendly in any regards, which was all what we have been looking for. The hotel met all of our expectations and is an excellent choice to book for some days as a base in northern Mérida.

This hotel is only okay with offering only basic services. However, what I appreciated about it was how clean it was, and Maria, our housekeeper, was always friendly and kind. Unfortunately, the room was quite small, and the services provided were very basic. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.

4 Guests but every day only 2 in the room. we had to ask for 2 more towels everyday and most times it seemed to trouble them. We asked for 2 more pillows and they promised to send them 3 times over 2 days before we received them.

Hotel overall was great and in a great location for what we were doing.

Initially, I wanted to treat myself to a better class of Hotel here in Merida, than the dumps I was staying at.

The free breakfast was nothing to write home about, most of the staff spoke little English & the ones that did, were rude to me.

The hotel advertised that they had a free shuttle service for about a 10 km. range, BUT when I asked about this, they said that it was no longer available, forcing me to use UBER ride services.

UBER was a nightmare to use back in Canada, so you can imagine what it was like, when most of the drivers, claimed that they didn't understand English.

A disabled person like me, has to have a hot shower to relax the muscles & joints, so this was what I looked forward to the most.

And, guess what...The shower had cool water at the most! I did try turning the wall mounted temperature adjustment valves myself (what else could these valves control, besides temperature to the Bathroom?) fixtures, BUT it didn't make much difference. By the time some Hotel Engineer came to my room, I'd already had my cool shower, BUT later that day, there still wasn't any hot water to the bathroom sink! So what did these valves control?

I won't get into being forced to walk to the surrounding restaurants in order to be able to eat, after the free breakfast.

If you there expect me to be nice to your employees, after the way I was treated by them, you should all quit & see which Govt's around the World are looking for people.

Bed and the room is ok, but the hotel don't have room service if you check in late because of late flight , you cannot have anything. Fortunately there is a starbucks in front of the hotel that is open after 10pm.
Breakfast is normal mexican breakfast very ordinary.
But its noisy even late night upstairs.

The hotel is under remodeling. Due to the cobstruction the noise is increable. We have to be out of the hotel alk day because we could not do our work in the room due to the noise. The hotel should refund us 50% of the rate since we were there on business and we could not use the facility.

We arrived at 1:30pm after checking out from a hotel stay in Telchac Puerto. We prebooked our stay and they didn't have any rooms ready yet, so we paid for the hotel stay and went out for a bite to eat. We returned at 3:00pm, which is the actual check-in time and there still wasn't a room available yet. We waited in the lobby until just past 3:30pm...we finally got to access a room but they didn't call us to the front counter. My husband had gone up to ask a couple of times while we were waiting in the lobby area. Room was decent. Bed was uncomfortable and kept sliding forward while we were sitting up in bed watching t.v. We had to place a pair of rubber thongs underneath the front of the bed. Thank goodness it worked. My husband enjoyed the breakfast next morning. Check out was fast. It's in a good location with several restaurants nearby. Sam's Club and Costco are a short drive. Lots of shopping, etc.

Nice location

I like City Express hotels, affordable price, decant rooms and good breakfast. But this time we had a bad experience while we checked in, it took almost an hour to check in. Then the A/C was not working. Second night they gave us an other room and the A/C was working. Overall the staff was friendly.

La habitación muy limpia y cómoda; el personal en general amable. La alberca un espacio muy agradable y disfrutable. Nosotros asistimos a un torneo deportivo y, al ser un grupo grande, adaptaron un salón para servirnos los desayunos. Sin embargo, me pareció terrible que en todos los días que estuvimos no cambiaron los manteles sucios, además de que el café estaba muy malo comparando con el de la máquina en el comedor habitual del hotel. La comida empezó muy mal, con platillos muy picosos, lo que hizo que en nuestro grupo varios ya no quisieran desayunar ahí. También se notaba descuido al limpiar, por ejemplo, áreas comunes como los elevadores que pasaban días con las mismas manchas de que algo se cayó y no se limpió. El internet en las habitaciones muy malo, pero en el business center muy bien. El estacionamiento es amplio y cómodo, siempre encontramos lugar. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de zonas comerciales, del centro de la ciudad y, sobre todo, de la sede del evento al que asistimos.

Aunque se veia que el desyuno era conpleta jamas pudimos probarlo y eso que bajábamos a las 7 am a desayunar pero es como tipo buffet pero no resurten y todos los huspeded llevan desayuno incluido asi que si te toca una manzana ya es un logro pesaba que resurtian los alimentos pero el primer dia literal me espero un poco mas de la hora y jamas volvieron a resurtir, una noche antes preguntamos el horario y nos comunicaron que era de 6:30 a 12 super mal por que si te cobran el del desayuno
