Deseocionada de la estancia, primero en el cuarto no servía la caja fuerte, ni la televisión, ni el teléfono, no nos dieron ni plancha. Después, mal servicio de limpieza, pasaron dos días para que nos lavaran el baño y ni que decir de los Shampoo o jabones, no nos dejaban más. Para poder pedir algo teníamos que bajar a recepción. De ahí el desayuno, caro y poco variado no valió nada la pena. Y la alberca ya se veía descuidada, no la pudimos disfrutar por el clima, pero se veía sucia. De ahí en fuera, elevadores y recibidor, bien.

The bathroom was virtually unfunctional. toilet didn't flush, the bathroom sinks didn't drain, the shower didn't drain, the shower controls didn't work, etc. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if it were the last place to stay in Merida.

Clean room, large bathroom, well situated. I didn’t try the pool as it was very shaded and not the most inviting. Gym was small but served its purpose. Most of the hotel staff were lovely though we did encounter some people who weren’t so helpful. We would return.

Villa Mercedes did not provide us accommodations per our reservation at their hotel. They did secure a room at the nearby Holiday Inn, and while the room had two queen beds instead of the king bed we had reserved and the room was smaller, the accommodations at the Holiday Inn were in all other respects commodious.

I recently stayed at Villa Mercedes Curio Collection by Hilton and overall the experience was okay.

The common areas and amenities appear to have been recently remodeled, which gives the hotel a modern and more upscale look. The lobby and shared spaces feel refreshed and inviting.

However, the guest rooms do not reflect the same level of renovation. The furniture feels outdated and could benefit from a full refresh. The blinds in my room were visibly dirty and had signs of mold, which was disappointing. The minibar was also not functioning properly during my stay.

Housekeeping standards could be improved, as bed linens were not changed daily. While this may be part of a sustainability policy, it was not clearly communicated.

The pool area has potential, but it is located in a shaded section of the property, which keeps the water very cold. Even in a tropical destination like Mérida, the pool was not comfortable to use. Investing in a pool heater would significantly enhance the guest experience.

In summary, while the hotel has attractive remodeled amenities and a good overall foundation, the rooms and some maintenance details need attention to match the level of the public areas.

Stayed here a week unexpectedly when I sprained my ankle day 1 of my trip. The staff was terrific bringing me buckets of ice every day and delivering things to my room when needed. Big shout-out to all the nice doormen who facilitated my arrivals and departures with Uber. Used room service 3 times a day and servers were friendly, food was prompt and good, and it wasn't price-gouging. Beautiful downstairs lobby bar had a big screen with Olympics or soccer. Pool looked nice but as there's no elevator to the pool I couldn't use it (there is a ramp for wheelchairs, but the ramp was too hard on crutches). Room was spacious with a comfy bed (I had a king) and pillows, though sheets are definitely not \"Frette\" as seen on Expedia. There was a nice French door to open for fresh air though the balcony is just for show. Odd that they did not have a hair dryer, but I couldn't stand that long anyway. Heavenly shower.

As we are vegetarians, we skipped the hotel restaurants…better options nearby for less money. Would stay here again.

Room was ok for the price point, many aspects gave it “budget hotel” vibes. Many examples of this but just for one, asking for additional $ for more than 1 coffee/person felt extra cheap. Surprised this is Hilton brand, suggest the Hyatt next door. You can appreciate the cool architecture and get a better experience!

This doesn’t seem to be Hilton , Hilton is making a big mistake by lending there name to this hotel if they are doing so.
The hotel entrance and lobby is so dark can’t see anything properly. The staff provided me a room which was one of the worst rooms. Stayed two nights and didn’t even sleep good at all. Broken tiles the room, Acs not cooling , They don’t provide body wash only a soap that smell terrible. Breakfast was okay.

El servicio es bueno y el personal muy amable, La ubicación también está bien, pero el hotel parece que no le han dado mantenimiento y mucho menos remodelación desde los 70s. Los muebles están viejos y maltratados, ni siquiera quise usar los cajones porque tienen un olorcito rancio y se les ve como moho por dentro. El cuarto huele a humedad y las paredes están sumamente sucias. El lobby está siempre oscuro y sombrío tanto de día como de noche. El espejo de agua en la entrada da la impresión de que no le han cambiando el agua en años.

The environment around the hotel smells bad from sewage.
2. The hotel waiting area is too narrow and small
3. The hotel reps at the front desk seem sluggish in responding to requests. You have to remind them several times .
4. Restaurant food selection is very limited
5. A hotel of this size and reputation should have a microwave.

Every member of the hotel staff we interacted with was amazing always personable ... courteous and helpful ... We enjoyed dinner in each of the hotels three restaurants all of them were excellent and a unique culinary experience in it's own way ... My wife and I recently had an incredible stay at Villa Mercedes Merida. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional cleanliness and upkeep of the property. The staff were fantastic, always ready to assist with smiles and professionalism. The valet service deserves special mention for being exceedingly informative and helpful, truly the best we’ve experienced.

The breakfast was another highlight, earning a solid five stars for its variety and quality. Villa Mercedes Merida is a must-book hotel, and we cannot wait to return on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Merida.

The true heart of this hotel is the incredible staff. They were **super attentive** without being intrusive, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The **valet service was particularly excellent**—always prompt, professional, and greeting us with a smile, which made coming and going seamless. It's clear that the entire team takes pride in providing top-tier hospitality.

We rarely dine exclusively at the hotel restaurant, but the on-site eatery was so magnificent that we ate there two nights in a row! The **food was excellent**, and the atmosphere was lovely. Equally impressive was the bar, which was absolutely **on point**. The bartenders were skilled mixologists who crafted perfect drinks, making it the ideal spot for a nightcap.
