Getting to the hotel was easy and Check in was fine. Our issue began the following day when we didn’t have hot water to shower, the power went out completely and my sister in laws pajamas and nephews shirt went missing. We reported it and asked if it maybe had been taken with the linens during the outage and they said laundry was made through third party and would have to wait for them to check if they took it with the sheets . So we waited them to call which they didn’t do so we called and they said it was not found and they couldn’t do anything about it. The third day the tshirt was miraculously folded on the chair and yet the pajamas no where to be found. They didn’t want to give us the manager contact and said she was already aware but nothing could be done.
Our rooms were not swept at all in 4 days either and her room was never restocked with coffee and just 1 water for 4 people. It wasn’t a great experience overall.

Staff were friendly and helpful. First night room we booked didn't have any windows to the outside. Felt claustrophobic. Person on the desk daid they could move us on the 2nd night, which we did. Much better room. Cleaning staff really only made the bed and left us new towels, didn't wipe down any countertops or floors. Elevator didn't work on tge second or third day. Rooftop swimming pool and area were very nice. Location is excellent.

The staff are good. The room (310) has no windows to the outside, the shower floor is too slippery, hot water takes way too long and it is not really hot, lighting in the bathroom is not nearly enough to shave o apply make up (my wife finished her makeup in the elevator mirror).

Difficult to rate. Comfortable beds!

This is hotel is difficult to rate for so many reasons! First the beds were 5 star! Three of us all slept wonderfully! Our room was spacious & we loved the storage areas. There is a large pool on the roof and nice views, but no shade and only 3 chairs & a lounger. After that there are several things that bring it down to a 3 rating: the building is old and stuffy, to cover the smell there are excessive “plug-in air fresheners” everywhere! We unplugged ours in our room as soon as we arrived! Once we opened up the bathroom and let things air out a bit it wasn’t over powering. The bathroom doors shouldn’t be closed up between guests! There was musty smell until we allowed air flow. We were fortunate to get a room with an outside window. This building had a previous life as an office building or other purpose. There are many rooms that have a window to the hallway and I don’t think to the outside. We did not eat at the restaurant. We explored other eateries in the area.
The hotel is a great location on popular Paseo de Montejo. Lots of history here, mansions to visit, restaurants to try, very walkable and safe. We have been to Merida before, so this is why we chose this hotel for the location and the discounted price. If you have a car, there is easy access to the parking garage and the elevator. The elevator numbers however are one number different than your floor; another quirk. There are several Kavia brand hotels in Mérida. Would I stay here again? Not sure.

Disfruté mucho mi estadía en el Hotel Kavia Premium. Tiene una ubicación fenomenal, cerca de restaurantes, tiendas, atracciones, bancos, todo caminando; además es seguro y tiene un buen estacionamiento. Todos los empleados de recepción fueron amables y siempre estuvieron dispuestos a colaborar con nosotros. Igualmente, las chicas de housekeeping que todos los días mantuvieron la habitación muy limpia y organizada. ¡Gracias! Me gustó mucho el restaurante Luuch para los desayunos, allí degusté deliciosos platos de la gastronomía yucateca (los huevos motuleños mis favoritos), servidos por unos empleados súper atentos y simpáticos.

Como áreas de oportunidad está el baño. No hay agua caliente y deben mejorar la iluminación – son pocas luminarias y de la manera que están instaladas crean sombras. Igualmente, el desagüe de la ducha no funciona adecuadamente por lo que se crea un desagradable empozamiento de agua que solo se va cuando las chicas de housekeeping lo trapean. Otra área por mejorar es el aislamiento de sonido entre las habitaciones. De camino a mi habitación escuchaba los televisores de las otras habitaciones e incluso a medianoche escuché perfectamente el ataque de tos que le dio al huésped de la habitación contigua.

Property is new and rooms are very clean. There was some water issues and the restaurant hasn't been completed. Staff was very nice and accommodating. There is an elevator that is small but works fine. The rooftop pool is nice but there is an gym room that also hasn't been completed. Overall a great value and extremely convenient location.

Reservé 2 habitaciones iguales y me asignaron una de buen tamaño (315) y otro muy pequeña (302), en medio de una familia ruidosa, solicité el cambio la nueva habitación (313) con la coladera de la regadera tapada y sin servir la TV o el control se reportó y no lo atendieron ni hicieron la limpieza. También hubo falta de agua caliente. El elevador no servía en el piso 2. En fin varias fallas en general.
La ubicación es muy buena pero el servicio deja mucho que desear.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado pero desde que llegamos el elevador no funcionaba correctamente y era un lío bajar la carreola desde el tercer piso hasta el estacionamiento. Regresábamos de pasear y era el mío lío el elevador no funcionaba. No lo recomiendo si viajan con muchas maletas, niños pequeños o personas discapacitadas.

La limpieza de la habitación ha sido lo mas horrible que visto en todos los hoteles que he estado.

-El piso extremadamente sucio, mis calcetines quedaron como si hubiera caminado en tierra.
-Telarañas en el marco de la cabecera
-Calcetín olvidado en la esquina del buró
-Resumidero de la regadera tapada
-Piso de la regadera tenía una capa grasosa super resbalosa y que se pegaba a los pies
-El wc aun con su sello de “Sanitizado” tenía gotas de orines al rededor.
-Se dijo que se haría limpieza profunda y no fue suficiente.

Visualmente luce muy bien el hotel. Desafortunadamente en una de las habitaciones que reservamos, encontramos más de 12 cucarachas. Otro punto a mejorar sería la ventilación del baño. El agua de la alberca se veía un poco turbia, lamentablemente no pudimos hacer uso de ella.

La localización es muy buena dado que se encuentra en una avenida turística y céntrica; sin embargo, pese a que está recien remodelado (por dentro), la limpieza fue pésima, en nuestra habitación los pisos siempre estaban sucios, con cabellos ajenos, pegajoso, el baño incluido el inodoro, estaban sucios, el hecho de que huela bien por el aromatizante que usan en las instalaciones no evita que se vea sucio, el agua de la regadera no se iba y escuché a otra persona quejarse de lo mismo. Me parece que en general estaba muy descuidado, el personal de recepción distraido (a excepción de la señorita que nos recibió que fue muy amable).

Dada la cercanía con la zona donde se realizan muchos eventos de noche o madrugada, deberían tener ventanas aislantes de sonido, en doa ocasiones no pude dormir por una carrera a las 5 am y por una fiesta mexicana, y por fiesta en un bar a un costado, eso se solucionaría con ventanas de calidad.

Me defraudó en general, se alejó mucho de mi expectativa y definitivamente no regresaría ahí. Escuché que bajó el nivel a partir del cambio de administración.

Kavia Premium es un Hotel que utilizo con cierta frecuencia en mis viajes a Merida, si lo que buscan un hotel bien ubicado para estar Sobre Paseo Montejo ( Junto al Remate), el Corredor Gastronómico (Calle 47) y la iconica Calle 60 del Centro todo caminando, esta es una opción. Cuenta Con estacionamiento techado con acceso directo al Hotel con Elevador y Alberca en el Piso 4 con vista a la Montejo. Cuenta con un Restaurant en Planta Baja pero no tiene servicio a Cuartos. En la Habitación Cuenta con Minirefri y smartTv.

Bueno, al encender el aire acondicionado, salió volando una cucaracha, la mate y la limpie, Pero al revisar el piso, me.di cuenta que había muchas larvas de cucarachas, notifque a recepción Pero muy amablemente me.dijo que recién habían fumigado el hotel y estaban saliendo animales de los aires acondicionados, se ofreció a subir y limpiar la cucaracha con una toallita de cloro, mismo que yo ya lo había hecho, la ubicación es buena Pero l averdad ya no estuvimos agusto, no pudieron cambiarnos de habitación por qué no había disponibles

Está bien ubicada pero se ve que trataron de adaptar el hotel a algo existente , no tiene extractor ni en ciertos ni en baños , su sistema de drenaje malo, desprende malos olores y tienen problemas con el vaciado de agua . Del aseo malo hasta telarañas hay .

En recepción no me quieren dar dos llaves para acceso y argumentan que son las reglas del hotel y hasta la quinta noche te puedan dar otra llave. No tiene sentido esto. Somos dos personas que viajan por trabajo y cada uno requiere salir y entrar a diferente hora. Finalmente te dan las llaves y te amenazan que se la pierdas debes pagar 150’pesos. La ubicación del hotel nos favorecen el ingreso para el hotel considero que les favorece pero pelear en recepción ya en dos diferentes estancias por el mismo motivo es incómodo.

Nos hospedamos dos personas en la misma habitación y solicité dos llaves para el acceso y la recepcionista comentó que por política solo se da una tarjeta, argumente que cada huésped necesita salir por separado y requiere su llave me dieron la segunda llave pero con la advertencia de que si se pierde hay que pagará 150 pesos .
Incomodo el momento porque la actitud de los recepcionistas es molesta y amenazante
