Location,location location! Its a great little hotel in the middle of everything. Restaurants, shops,coffee. You can walk everywhere. The one thing we did not like at all is the parking(if you don’t need a car great, but we needed one) You have to walk about 2 blocks to the parking area. No one will bring your car. You have to call the front desk ask them to open the parking lot wait there until someone comes and opens it. As a guest it’s too much of a hassle especially on tired days of walking and sightseeing and of course you have to carry all your luggage or whatever you have.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado en el centro de merida, cerca de la plaza santa Lucia.
Pero las instalaciones no son tan modernas, a las habitaciones les hace falta una renovacion. Seria bueno tambien que instalaran una zona con un microondas y mini refrigerador y un distribuidor de agua fria, caliente, le facilitaria mucho la vida a las familias con nin̈os pequen̈os.

Martha the front desk reception was delightful and we enjoyed chatting with her. She gave us good tips, on where to go and find enjoyable meals and entertainment. The room was large and comfortable. I would have liked having nightstand on my side of the bed. They had washcloths! The pictures of the pool area were very nice, but did not reflect the reality of the pool. It needed a lot of management. The water was too cold. Needs solar heating. Breakfast was good, but expected more than pan Bimbo. For the price we had a fantastic time at this hotel!

Secadora de pelo y plancha, se tenian que solicitar a recepción y recogerla uno mismo.
Telefono no funcionaba, para llamar a recepcion habia que usar nuestro telefono.
Lampara de buro fuera de servicio.
Television en veces dejaban de verse los canales.
Alberca cerrada un dia, como que le faltaba mas limpieza.
Limpieza de cuartos, en veces no se llevaban la basura como botellas de basura y/o vaciar bote de basura.

Photos exaggerate style and elegance which are lacking- at least in the reception, the bedroom we had. The first bedroom was a dump and we were moved to a better but basic bedroom. Front desk staff speak Spanish and do not try too hard to communicate. There is free hotel car parking around the corner so ask for it. The parking attendant is helpful. Small swimming pool is ok.

FYI: Merida and Yucatán Peninsula is no longer inexpensive. Top dollar is being charged for very mediocre accommodation and food. most cenotes are now over-visited.

About my 5th visit to Yucatán but unlikely to return.

Everything was ok until check out.. i stayed for at least a week and the final day of stay they overcharged late check out feee.. for 30min late after check out time, 12 pm.
The customer service is non existence , the cleaning staff is great and the facilities are good.
They never tell you upfront they will charge for 30 min late check out..
For sure never go back to this place

Perfecto para llegar a dormir. Esta super bien ubicado a unas calles de la catedral. Todo queda super cerca y tiene bastantes opciones de comida y bares. El aire acondicionado servia muy bn, wifi no lo usamos para trabajar pero sirvio bn en dispositivos moviles, la ducha tiene buena presion de agua, tarda un poquito para calentar pero sale bien. No usamos el estacionamiento ya que uber llega a la entrada del hotel. El servicio excelente, volveríamos a usarlo.

We loved this place. My family of six had a great opportunity to stay in this quaint, lovely place. Pool was a great hit with my younger ones. A perfect location for my needs. However, I never had hot water - 5 days of cold showers! My room: decent size, good A/C & great to have a mini fridge, but very hard bed/pillows, no sound proofing (I could hear the person in the next room snoring), & needs some maintenance attention. For the most part, the staff is really welcoming, kind, & helpful (though no one was eve able to effectively manage the hot water issue). No coffee in room or lobby & coffee shop attached to property doesn't open until 7 or 8 - so buy coffee/breakfast the night before if you have an early excursion.

Great location for restaurants and museums. Elevator was not working (as warned in the listing) but 4th floor on hot days was not enticing. Pool was very cloudy. Staff was helpful in getting us into a room on a lower floor -- thank you for that. Independent coffee shop right off the lobby was convenient and good coffee. Interior courtyard is charming. Good shower pressure and hot water! Thank you for help holding our bags and getting us a taxi on our last day!

The customer service was good but unfortunately there were a lot of ants in the room. We had to check out after check in due to the conditions. I had my 2 yr old grandson and I won’t allow him to sleep with ants in the room & restroom. Their solution was to spray bug spray while we slept in the room. Sadly we couldn’t enjoy the room.

Hotel is conveniently located, near plaza,
Restaurants and shops. Facility is ok but could use some improvements (i.e. new-working toilets), and bed was not comfortable. I do not recomend it for a long stay.

Parking was located 2 blocks away & I was not told when I called the hotel to inquire about parking. The inconvenience was having to ask an attendant at another hotel to let me in & out of the lot as it was locked for safety.

The grounds are nice & have a lot of potential and is relaxing to sit out in the garden.

The hotel is centrally located and convenient to lots of restaurants, tourist shops, etc. Room was very clean. The towels and sheets are newer, White, crisp, etc. But the Room is a bit Stark. My Room over looked the exterior passage way, so for Privacy I kept the curtains closed, which makes the Room like a box. The one table Lamp on the Night stand didn't work, and I didn't feel like calling about it. Fridge and A/C work one of those Room key pads, but the fridge gets Cold quickly. A nice Basic stay, but not luxury.

The hotel is well situated, at the heart of Merida. But it is just next to a bar, which can get very noisy at night. The hotel does not have a restaurant. The showers are what you can get for the price. We had a small incident, which the manager was slow to respond to. However, by the end, it was solved.

Con's: Room was dimly lit with one light & one lamp, shower pressure & temperature was not reliable, desk was tiny & my back ached after 3 hours, all the floors are tile & sound echoes even 3 floors up, my bathroom had an alhambra shaped window that had gaps between the wall & anyone waiting at the elevator can peek in, key card needed to be activated 2x in 3 days.

This place is fine if you're out all day & just need a place to rest, but not if you're working during the day & hanging out in the room.

This was the fifth hotel we stayed in as we hopped around Yucatan this summer. It had the best shower and hot water out of all our stays. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were still intermediate spanish-speakers by the time we stayed here, but they were great anyway. The only drawbacks were a weak and inconsistent wifi connection, and no laundry service. But location, cleanliness, proximity to restaurants, the rest of the ammenities, etc, were fantastic.

Ideally located just off the main areas of the plaza etc for location...A+ Great refreshing (cool) pool after a days wandering the streets of Merida. WiFi great and room was large enough. Breakfast was good and varied items and cheap compared to other places....so many restaurants, coffee ships etc to choose from within minutes of the hotel.Quiet rooms considering Calle 60 is busy. highly recommend this hotel as a place for your visit.

This hotel is right in the action with walking access to many parks, restaurants, and shops. The hotel is spotless and pretty. Our room was comfy with 2 double beds and a little fridge. I was scared the moment I stepped into the newly remodeled shower as the marble floor was very slippery. For some people, the limited English spoken may be an issue, but they may speak more than I noticed since my husband is a native Spanish speaker. The only disappointment were the breakfasts. The photo shows an array of fruits, juices, cakes, etc. in reality, it’s about 1/4 of what you see. You can order a full breakfast, but with so many restaurants close, it was more fun to check out those. It is an old building, so there is some peeling paint, etc. but it was perfect for us and very charming. We’d choose it again.
