The rooms are immaculate.
Alberto and Hector in the reception office were exceptionally helpful and welcoming.
The whole entire staff for breakfast were outstanding. I can’t say enough. I am spellbound by the whole experience here.
The topper was Raul the owner sitting down with us at breakfast and just making us feel like family.
If you are planning a trip here to the beautiful city of Merida I would highly recommend that you consider staying here.
I’m leaving today, but I wish I could stay.

Incredible service with friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and homelike environment. When leaving on early tours, staff made sure we had a boxed breakfast, coffee and a backpack with towels and hats for a day on the beach or Cenotes. Had an amazing stay and hope to be back soon.

Mansión Mérida is spectacular. We were welcomed with a drink and a fruit basket, and loved the daily treats in our room. The room upgrade was stunning, and the pool was incredibly refreshing.

The service from the concierge team was world-class, and meeting the owner, Don Raúl, was a highlight. He even took a photo of us, which was delivered in a frame in our room and he met us as we were leaving to give us a thank you letter. Breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was truly personal. A gem in the heart of the city!

Raul is the owner of this magnificent property. We have travelled many places all over the world and I would have to say that this was the best. This property needs to be in the movies. It is absolutely spectacular. Not only are the surroundings, unlike any other, we have been at, the service is exemplary. This truly was one of the most special vacations we have ever had. It is not a mansion with an abundance of rooms. However, because of the smaller amount of gas, you truly feel like you are a VIP! Thank you so much for the most memorable vacation. We would definitely come back. Truly exemplary in every aspect possible.

Amazing property! A mansion which is not only grand and beautiful but importantly has amazing staff and owner who treats you like family and makes you feel at home. Breakfast was excellent - you must try the tamales! Everyone was so kind and thoughtful - so relaxing coming back to it after a day exploring Maya ruins or on the beach or walking around Merida.

Many delicious breakfast options and wonderful service. Staff were helpful and caring. Room and bathroom were expansive and full of charm. The balcony on which the rooms lead out to is lovely for sitting and talking or doing work. The interior al fresco dining area with fountain and piano is a peaceful contrast to the bustling city and lively park in which the hotel sits.

The historic mansion is filled with character and curated with extraordinary attention to detail, from the stunning art and objects to the gorgeous coffee-table books throughout. The interior landscape design is breathtaking — lush and serene — creating a true oasis within the property.

Raoul, the owner, welcomed us warmly and made sure everything was perfectly tailored to our liking. Ivan was an exceptional host, offering thoughtful recommendations that led to some of our most memorable experiences. This is a very nice property well located a block from the main plaza with plenty of good restaurants (fine dining to hole-in-the-wall) as well as shopping nearby.

The property is stunning--an old mansion. The courtyard where breakfast is served is beautifully landscaped. Everything is well decorated and well kept. Our suite was very spacious. Lots of the extras you often get at a boutique hotel like this.

The staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. On days we had to leave before breakfast they had coffee, juice and a box lunch for us to take. We also had towels, caps, and bug spray to take on our tours. We booked our own tours, but they can do that too.

The restaurant and bar look very nice and the outside space was very busy every day.

Lovely place. If we return to Merida, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Mansion Merida is a real gem. The converted mansion is so lovely, they serve a great breakfast in the central courtyard and our room was very comfortable. The staff is the perfect mix of professional, attentive and friendly - they scheduled tours and made us feel right at home. The owner, Raul, is very hands on and greeted guests every day. The location on a cute square just a block from the cathedral square and two from the Park Santa Lucia is central to the city sites. We lived Mansion Merida and hope to visit again.

Hotel is charming and lovely. The staff, including the owner, could not have been any more helpful or considerate. A real pleasure. The only caveat is some noise at night in the front of the hotel that could be disturbing if you're a light sleeper. Despite that, the hotel is great in every respect.

From the greeting received on arrival by “Hector” to the fabulous services provided by Alberto, Juan, Cindy (food and beverage) & all other staff interactions with Ivan , Enrique and many more the professionalism and attention to detail was very much appreciated.

The food and beverages were first class and kudos to the chef & kitchen staff 👏. Your food preparation and presentation were excellent.

It was a pleasure to meet the boutique hotel owner Raul Caseras who checked with us daily to ensure our stay was of an excellent standard.

After having travelled extensively in North America and Europe it was a true pleasure to experience the 1st class service that we received.

I would not hesitate to recommend this property and encourage visitors to truly enjoy a 1st class property with 1st class service.

This property is unique. If you are looking for a cookie cutter experience, look elsewhere. It is impossible to describe -- you feel like you are living in someone's home. The owner greets you at breakfast, the staff bends over backwards to take care of you. It is a very gracious, charming experience and the property is beautiful. At every corner is another piece of artwork. It is old world and classic and just a little quirky. Fantastic! Also, it is right in the center of the historic downtown.

The room was so large and beautiful with a large restroom and a big rain shower and all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices! And the service impeccable!!! I stayed at the Mérida Mansion Hotel from August 14 to 17, and my experience was nothing short of amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible service from the staff.

Every single worker I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, they made me feel welcome and cared for in every detail. Their dedication and hospitality turned my trip into something very special.

Stay here! Trust me. The rooms are amazing, very elegantly decorated and styled. Tall ceilings (helps keep things cool). Turn down service. The breakfasts at the hotel are amazing - authentic Mexican. And included in the room price. There is a nice pool but we never used it. The courtyard area is gorgeous. The location is one block from the main square! All kinds of restaurants. The buzz of the city is great. On top of all that the hospitality from the staff, and especially Sr Raul (the owner and grandson of the original builder) is second to none. Such a warm and personalable guy, great staff. Perfection!

A 10 minutos caminando de Paseo de los monteros y del corredor gastronomico.
La ubicacion del hotel realmente hizo de nuestra experiencia algo especial en Merida.
El dueño del Hotel, el Sr Raul, esta siempre atento del servicio, y de todo lo que hace que el hotel sea excelente. Fue un anfitrion de primera y nos hizo sentir como en casa.
El desayuno estaba incluido en nuestro paquete, y es delicioso y tan basto que es como un “ lunch” o almuerzo. Notamos que hay gente que va a desayunar ahi sin ser huespedes, por lo decioso que es. Las mermeladas unicas y deliciosas.
Nuestra habitacion muy linda,y muy espaciosa, el aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien!! Lo que es indispensable en Merida 😂

Beautiful and very relaxing. The service was impeccable and the dining for breakfast had many choices and food was freshly served with great presentation. Really nice personal touches from fresh baked cookies, to an outing bag provided with towels and mosquito spray and umbrellas for sun protection. Our stay at the Merida Mansion was unforgettable. This stunning hotel—an old hacienda—felt like a warm, welcoming home from the moment we arrived. The space was filled with incredible artwork, all curated by the owner’s great-great-grandfather, which added a personal and historical touch that made the atmosphere even more special.

Our room was beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby every night. The staff was exceptional, consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They even helped us plan a perfect day trip to the ruins and cenotes, coordinating everything so we could relax and enjoy without any stress.

Breakfast each morning was delicious and satisfying, with plenty of options to choose from. We also enjoyed dinner at their wonderful on-site restaurant. And after a long day of travel, the welcome drink they offered was the perfect touch—it truly made us feel cared for.

Only thing that was a bit inconvenient was the parking if you have a rental. You can't self park but they have free valet service. You just have to make sure you don't forget anything in your car. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Location is excellent and central. Juan, Gener, the entire reception staff were great. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff arranged a magnificent welcome in our room plus a surprise gift upon leaving. All the personalized notes made our occasion unforgettable. From the elegant courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast, to the suites that’s decorated to perfection.
Staying at Mansion Merida was quite an experience.
We stayed in room 202, the most majestic corner suite, full of art, good taste, spacious, impecable, and elegant.

The Courtyard restaurant truly captures the essence of Mexican cuisine. The food is a true explosion of flavors, made with fresh ingredients, the atmosphere is vibrant elegant, with live music in the morning for breakfast and at night, the service is warm, knowledgeable and friendly.
We recommend everyone to stay at Mansion Merida, conveniently located in Downtown Merida, walking distance to the main attractions.

This hotel is elegant, historic, and very convenient for walking around Merida. The staff is outstanding. Ivan, who works in reception, is very attentive and helpful. Benjamin, Nelson and Gemer were very attentive for breakfast each morning. This hotel is unlike any other and the rooms are large, comfortable and many amenities are provided. The pool area is very nice and in a private area. The breakfast room is in the courtyard and is surrounded with beautiful plants and lovely fountain is in the center. We have stayed at this hotel at least four times and it never disappoints.
Also, staff will park your car in a private secure lot somewhere in the downtown area. It takes about ten minutes to get your car when you are needing it. The restaurant has a very nice menu and service is outstanding. The outside eating area is a great place to relax and watch the people strolling through Parque Hidalgo. If you want to be pampered, the Mansion is a wonderful place to stay.

There is wonderful artwork throughout the property, and the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are beautifully appointed, and the staff took excellent care of us. Breakfast was so delicious and filling that we couldn’t eat again until dinner. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

This is the most beautiful hotel in Merida. It is like a museum. The rooms are gorgeous, the food and service is spectacular. The most delicious breakfast in the most pleasant setting. This stunning boutique hotel in the heart of the historic center of Merida was formerly a private mansion. The 14 guest rooms are centered around an open courtyard with a fountain and restaurant. The guest rooms are spacious luxurious. The staff are very friendly and the owner is on the premises daily. The location is ideal being within minutes walking distance to historic sights, restaurants and markets. We would definitely recommend, our stay was incredible!

Some of the rooms….108…in particular, needs to be thoroughly cleaned and renovated. The lamp shades are dirty and falling apart and the linens need to be replaced with new ones, as well as the dingy robes. The hotel is lovely generally speaking and the service and food were great.

A Slice of Historic Mexico

Mansion Merida is like stepping into a slice of historic Mexico. The home is perfectly situated in the Centro, within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The owner, Raul, whose grandfather built the historic home, was very welcoming and kind. The dining, housekeeping, and reception staff were all very helpful and professional. We will definitely look to stay here again on a future visit.

Mansión Mérida was our favorite place to call home on our road trip around Yucatán and Quintana Roo. The owner, Raul (who you’ll undoubtedly enjoy meeting), is the host with the most. In fact, the entire staff is fantastic. Everyone was extremely friendly, and they all went above and beyond; from valet parking to housekeeping to breakfasts. You’ll really feel at home in this meticulously maintained, historical home turned boutique hotel. The breakfasts are amazing so you don’t want to miss them! The location is perfect for strolling around all the must see neighborhoods, streets and parks of Mérida. It’s also ideal for walking to all the best restaurants (we loved Mar y Lena for dinner). The rooms were very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and clean. The entire hotel is lovely. We were very sad to leave Mansión Mérida, but will definitely return. Highly recommend! If you’re looking for a very unique stay in Mérida stay here.
It is an old mansion turned into a hotel with only 16 rooms. The property is still owned by the original family. Every employee we ran into was so nice and attentive. Ivan checked us in and we felt like royalty. Raul is the owner and is very present and visits with all the guest to make sure their stay is going great. The location is amazing and walking distance to everything you would need or want. The beds were super comfortable and we slept great every night. Thank you guys for a great experience!

Every thing about hotel was a first class experience. The room furnishings, the meals and especially the caring and competent staff. Couldn’t have been treated better if we were royalty. My wife and i stayed here for three nights, and it was like a dream. The hotel itself is gorgeous and located just a block from Merida's main plaza on its own little picturesque square. Service was excellent; everyone made us feel at home.
I must also mention breakfast in the courtyard - one of the best dining experiences we had in a city that takes great (and well-deserved) pride in its cuisine. The huevos mansión may be the best variation of eggs benedict I've ever had.

A gem of a place!

Everything above this stay was special, and that is quite a statement, given that on this trip we had stayed in another historical hotel in Mexico City and were coming to Mansion Merida from an exclusive luxury resort in Quintana Roo.
This is quintessential Merida, the mansion is a part of the history of this iconic city. At 200 years old, and still owned by the original family, every nook is filled with luxury and history.
The staff deserves 5 stars for the care and friendliness. Ivan at the reception was courteous, and helpful and saw to our comfort. It was better than having a personal conceirg. The staff of the restaurant was superb as well. Nothing can beat the breakfast in the courtyard with the fountain.
We also had a lot of fun going thru the artifacts, photographs, paintings and a note, from Frida Kahlo herself, displayed in the lobby.
The room was beautiful and sound proof and had a superb view of the street from the balcony.
Neighborhood is safe and walkable. You are 3 min walk to the main square and some great local eateries and bars.
I wish I had more days to spend here! What a way to end our trip to this beautiful country!
