Location is great. Everything you need or want to see is in walking distance. It was a little bit hard to find the apartments, but after that there's no problem. Receptionist is very kind. There's a storage room, so we arrived early and left our stuff there. We checked in and arrived back after 3 pm. There was some waiting to get the keys as it was busy. Apartment is big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. We were in the b block which is I think further back so there was no noise. Air con is needed in August. Shower is decent. For the money I totally recommend the place.

Great bar with panoramic view!

Loved the 13 th floor bar! Had a nice dinner there overlooking Bratislava! Wonderful! But was closed at the weekend. Make sure you come when its open! Just a few stops on the tram gets you into the old town easily.

Nice hotel - clean and good sized room. Pillows were absolutely terrible and apparently they do not have any foam ones - amazing in this day and age. Bar was closed at weekends - disappointing. Nice bar across the road luckily

The pool and wellness doesn't belong to the hotel

The hotel itself is nice and rooms are well equipped (although I had to ask for a water kettle for tea, since I don't drink coffee). However it's misleading to list the swimming pool and wellness as part of the hotel, these facilities don't belong to the hotel and they're merely public facilities in a nearby shopping mall.

And parking is prety expensive (25 EUR/night, pool is not \"only for hotel guests\", hotel restaurat was under reconstruction, but close to hotel on oposite side of the stree is good bar with good kitchen.

This is a very clean hotel. The inability to lower the room temperature below 80 degrees Fahrenheit or 26 Celsius was unacceptable in August. Also, the shower wall leaked into the rest of the bathroom as it needs sealed.

Would not stay here again mainly because the hotel keeps all rooms at 80 degrees without allowing any adjustments.

Fantastic position of the hotel, 20min walk from the city center, and integrated with a large shopping center. Parking at the level -3 was worth every penny, as parking in general is a problem. The only thing I was missing was hair conditioner.

More pros than cons

My stay was disappointing. Our first night was in a first class room as business class room was tiny and we were willing to pay extra to upgrade. But the bed the pillow the noise were all so uncomfortable, we got no sleep and went back to business class room the next day and it was much nicer. I think we just got shown a bad one in the first night. The staff are very rude and poor communicators. Breakfast is good but not worth the price as lots of cafe next to hotel in shopping centre and much cheaper. Would stay there again for location just avoid first class rooms

the pool is not included in the price

When you look at it, it gives you the feeling that the pool is included. You have to pay 9EUR per entry per person. It's not the hotel's pool, but the shopping mall's pool. So take this into account. Had to email them via www.lindner.de and did not get a reply and then I called them and the person I talked to would not speak good english. I had a tough time explaining that I would arrive one day later.

Overall an OK stay but I would not book this hotel again. Comfy beds and very clean room. We came here after a long day of driving. Kitchen at the hotel restaurant were closed even it should have been open. Staff excuse was that they had an event earlier that day so they closed it early. No information about this on the webpage or resturant entrance. Very dissapointed and hungry we had to find a open resturant nearby. Long que in the reception at the hotel and other staff just sitting there doing other things than helping guests. Hotel have pool and gym in their commercial pictures, but it doesn't belong to the hotel and the charge is 9 euro pr. entry. Good parking facilities, bit expensive. 20 euro pr. night.

We loved the contemporary look of the room (room10.24). The reception staff were wonderful - so helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the Central shopping and restaurant area too. The only thing that might have been good is if the swimming pool was subsidized, as it was 18 euros for my wife and sun to use, which seemed a little expensive. I understand that the pool is not the hotel pool, but when I looked at the website before booking, this was not made clear. This was our first time at a Lindner hotel, and I would definitely stay again. A sophisticated yet personal experience.

Fabulous Hotel -

Brilliant hotel - spotlessly clean and modern. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a view of Bratislava. We have stayed here before - perfect! Any time I return to Bratislava this is where I will be staying. Close to the airport. Taxis are quite expensive though very reliable. Personally - this hotel is one hundred per cent. The pool is accessed via the Leisure Centre in the shopping centre and I think it is run by a separate entity. There is a separate charge for the facilities - 9 euro for pool use - bring your own towel (or make sure you have money with you - as this can cause a lot of inconvenience when they ask for payment for all the extras. The pool is a great length although it was freezing cold when I was in and access to the steam room area etc was not permitted in swimwear - and as I did not have a large towel with me I couldn't access this area (at huge disappointment - and because I needed heat after the cold temperature of the pool). The extra charge does not annoy me but being ready for a swim and then having to go back to pay at reception - and the embarrassment of non-entry until this was done - then an extra charge for towels etc (if you haven't brought any more money down with you) - and subsequent to-ing and fro-ing from the room leads to a lot of frustration. And it was not explained before entry to the leisure area that swimwear was not permitted. You also have to enter and exit via a public area - be prepared.

10 mins taxi ride away from district one. Over all good hotel. Spacious room, clean and good style. However, front reception staff weren't welcoming nor friendly. They were 'cold'. Numerious times, no greetings when you pass the reception staff. Infact the room maids had better courtesy.

Check in was excellent... and the hotel is really good.

However the room are very hot: and the air conditioning is remotely controlled! We also didn’t have our towels changed.. but we also didn’t chase this up with the hotel.

I would recommend this hotel: slightly out of the main are however trams are very 5minutes and only a 2 minutes walk away.

If you want to use the gym etc it’s 8euros per visit which is quite expensive .

Great hotel and lovely staff

Stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend. Hotel was immaculate and the staff were amazing. We were late for breakfast on the last day (Monday) as it closed earlier than on the weekend. Rather than turn us away the staff went to great lengths to personally cook us breakfast and to give us whatever we wanted even though they were half way through packing up. Any other hotel would have told us that it was tough but this gesture really impressed me and was the icing on the cake to a perfect weekend getaway. Will certainly be back again. As it turns out not only should you only ever have a german car and german appliances in your home but you should only ever stay in a German hotel. Well done ze Germans, shame I can't say the same for your football team.

Amazing view from hotel room, staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom facilities were great. The hotel is right next to the Central shopping centre and cinema with restaurants very close by. Overall a perfect experience and would love to stay again!

VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE

Last time we had a really bad experience. We had room that included bar for two days in our price and voucher for that. However the next day we had no service for our room, it was never cleaned and bar was not re stocked. when we asked the cleaning lady to do that she refused. Later on evening I asked the front desk and they brought us few waters upstairs but did not restock the coke and juices. When we were checking out and I mentioned the incident, the front desk lady said that apparently we have put a no disturb sign and this is why it was not done. however that was not true, we have not done that and in fact, when we wanted to use do not disturb sign while showering , we noticed it was not usable as it was damaged and it would not hang in the door. So the cleaning lady lied to front desk. Later front desk said \"its word against word\" and they \"they believe the cleaning lady and not us\" This is very dissapoitning as we paid for room with the bar included and they obviously stole from us and never recompensed this and lied on top of that and blamed us instead their poor service. I want to point out that there are very good hotels in Bratislava where incidents like these won't happen , we stayed here because others were full. Try Wilson Hotel, Loft Hotel or Sheraton by Eurovea. Those are high wealthy awsome service hotels where the client is valued. We are very disappointed and will file a complaint further.

Clean modern hotel.

Only stayed the one night on a cycling trip. Hotel is fine, obliging staff, room clean, reasonable variety for breakfast, adjacent to shopping mall (didn't visit), Spa facilities at extra cost (didn't use), secure underground parking, nice top floor bar (13th) with views of castle etc. Only reason I would not recommend is location, which seemed to me to be a bit away from the centre where there is a much more pleasing environment, nice bars, cafes and restaurants. The hotels there were priced a little higher but maybe worth the extra for location upgrade.

I have been coming back to this hotel ever since my first visit. Great value for money and the hotel sits on top of a shopping mall where you can spend your free time or access amenities such as banks and post office. Don't forget to visit the bar on the 13th floor which has stunning views on Bratislava.

Hotel is clean and rooms a decent size. Extras (parking, food) are over priced. The 'fitness' and 'pool' pictures are NOT in the hotel- this is a gym in the adjoining shopping centre which you must pay to use (not mentioned in the small print). Staff were pretty grumpy and rude on the front desk.
There are better hotels in bratislava.

A brand new hotel in a brand new shopping complex, a lot of shops - including a grocery store - are are next door. One of the main tram lines are in a walking distance, and so is the KHL hockey arena.

Very nice hotel with an almost hidden parking

The hotel looks brand new, our room was very big and well designed, with a nice view from Bratislava. Getting to the parking zone is like a maze because beneath the hotel there is a shopping mall and you have to drive like 4 floors underground, with getting a parking card almost each time go to to a lower underground floor, and then finally you reach the parking zone for the hotel. The gym and swimming pool are in a gym that it's in the shopping mall area next to the hotel, so prepare to appear in a bathrobe in the middle of the food court. The pool is fantastic by the way. The breakfast was good but for the price it could have been much better.

Not a bad place to stay!

++ you have a mall in the same building and a supermarket

-- parking is 20 euros /day
-- personel at the 13th floor bar is not friendly at all. The barman doesn't make a show for you when serving drinks, and he's also caustic and treats you as a drunk person. As soon as you slip him a 5, he's all laughter and joy.
-- the superior room is the same with the normal twin.
-- they don't have double beds. They will just put the twin together.

Perfect spot for a great price,

Rooms are very well equipped, staff is outstanding and being on a shopping center including a great swimming pool and gym, many different coffee places and restaurants, and even a supermarket for your last minute delicatessen, simply outstanding for that price. With that in mind you just go to the center for visiting and wandering and you always return to your room with all available Hingis at your hand.

Hotel in the city centre inside of the mall

Hotel is OK. From the 2nd floor you can go directly to the shopping mall. However everything closes at 21:00 there. I haven't been in the bar on 9th floor and that's supposed to be the best thing here. Parking is paid separately and to get to the -3rd floor is a bit of adventure. But 10 Euro per night or so is kind of OK price. I have chosen the cheapest economy room on the 6th floor and that wasn't probably the best idea. I got two narrow beds in the room and noise from neighbor's TV woke me in the mid of the night. AC was quiet enough and working just fine but a stupid green LED from its controller made the room half-lid during the night. I am not sleeping super deep nowadays and got distracted a bit by this. Breakfast was OK.
My advice: get a more expensive room with hopefully wider bed.

Modern hotel close to hockey rink

Stayed for 2 nights (April 22-23/2015) while attending a hockey tournament at the nearby Ondrej Nepela Arena,, only a 5-minute walk away. Our room (#404) was clean, modern and very comfortable. Staff was knowledgeable and spoke English quite well.

We left an item of clothing in the restaurant. When we went back to get it, it was gone and no one knew what happened to it.

Hotel room was fantastic...spacious, exceptionally comfy beds, quiet and modern. Only fault was the shower basin... the design of it meant the floor flooded everytime the shower was used, but it was mopped up easily enough.

Ideal city location

Located less than 30 minutes walk from the old town this is an ideal location. With the added bonus that it is more of a 'locals' area rather than tourist area. The car park is about as secure as you can imagine and the shopping centre next door was very handy. Superb bar/restaurant across the road from the hotel that does Slovakian dishes and is very busy even on a week night. Again it seems to be locals that frequent this bar rather than tourists, and for an evening out I preferred it to the old town tourist area bars/restaurants.

Excellent hotel just located bit far from centre.

Hotel is a true 4 star. Clean spacious and very nice rooms. For the price this is a must stay as is better than all the other 4 stars I've stayed at in Bratislava. Only downside was location if you are doing business in centre of town. Will stay again.

Very modern hotel

My mom and I stayed at the Lindner hotel for 3 nights and we had a great stay. The hotel is well located, very modern, the bedding was very comfortable and the shower was the greatest! The staff is very friendly and English speaking which is rarely common in Bratislava. if i have the chance to go visit Bratislava again I would definitely stay at the Lindner hotel it is recommendable and a great money value.

Arrived at 4 pm and quickly got checked in by the friendly staff who put us on the 9th Floor in a room with a great view. Superb top floor bar/restaurant with great views of the city, Castle and the Danube in the distance. Super shopping mall attached to the Hotel with a Segafredo coffee shop serving excellent espresso drinks! Thoroughly satisfied with the hotel all around and would definitely stay again if I am in Bratislava.

Modern business hotel, 1 year old, good condition. Rooms weren't large and the bathroom, while efficient in use of space, felt a but claustrophobic. Nice touch with heated lamp for when you get out of the shower, though I forgot to switch it on. I asked for a bath but wasn't given one, so assume they may not have any. Bar is on 13th floor with great view of city and they could mix me a Harvey Wallbanger! Not many bars in New York can do that! Breakfast was good and well priced at EUR16. Overall an unspectacular thumbs up.

The views from the bar on the 13th floor are amazing. The greeting at reception was really good and the room didn't disappoint. The new beer hall opposite the hotel, is friendly and lively. If you want to shop, then you have a lot of choice in the shopping centre that the hotel sits above. Worth making the trip to the roof top garden of the shopping centre as it has a great chill out area.

Very nice new hotel locates above a new large shopping mall. Next to a tram and bus stop for access to old town and train station otherwise 20 main walk into town. Staff very friendly and spoke English. Room very nice and clean. Surrounding area typical eastern European suburb with not much activity. Best to stay in old town if you don't want to commute. Enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is new and excellent quality.
Situated beside a shopping Center on the 3rd floor I think .
Bar and Restaurant on 13th floor has views of the city,
Good value and staff very helpful.
Would strongly recommend

Brand new hotel next to shopping mall

This hotel was pretty conveniently located. It was about a 20-minute walk from the main train station and about a 20-minute walk from the old town. It's about 3 months old and everything looked brand new. The room was very modern and very comfortable.

Godt valg i Lidner Hotel

Dejligt hotel og godt placeret ved sporvogn og busser.
Hurtig indcheckning og venlig reception.
Minus: Badeværelset lidt specielt hvor glasdør er både ud til rummet og når man skal bade og også dør til brusebad.
Smag og behag.
Aircondition er lidt svær at stoppe om natten. Summen hele tiden. Gode senge og puder.
Ikke meget skabsplads.
