A really lovely hotel that is fantastic value for money.
Staff very helpful and polite
we stayed in a luxury apartment which was fantastic and one of the best rooms i have ever stayed in.
the only minor negatives, Gym equipment could be thinned out a bit ie one bike, one running machine, only because the room is a bit small.

We stayed at penthouse and it was very spacious and well equipped. Hotel is centrally located and staffs were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here if we visit Bratislava next time.

The hotel should be renamed to \"Frozen\"

I opted in for \"Deluxe apartment\" with the floor heating as promoted on their website.
Unfortunately pitched \"floor heating\", the main upsell feature of this type of apartment was not working.
The staff was not able to \"fix it\" in 3 days while I was staying there. Very unconvenient especially during snow storm outside. Sadly, the hotel staff did not come up with any alternative solution (move us to the room with working heating or provide us with some electric heaters etc.). Apart from saying \"we are fixing this\" nothing was done in order to fix this problem. They did not even show up to check if it is actually working or not. Very dissapointing.
Another amusing feature of this hotel (at least this type of the room) were two TVs installed in the way that if person 1 changes channel with the remote, it also changes channel on the second TV. :)
Pluses: breakfast staff was very attentive and location is top notch.
Tip: bring your own eletric heating or special thermal wear

You must stay here!

I have stayed in my share of hotels over the last 20 years of traveling. This was the best hotel I ever stayed in. You have to walk about 5-7 min to the heart of town, but this hotel is just amazing. The room, the help, breakfast was off the charts. I mean, everything was just top WOW!

Wow-tastic, an experience unbelievable

Spacious rooms, great breakstaff, helpful staff members especially Branko. Attention to smallest details such as welcome drink, chocolates on bed, daily weather card, evening chocolates, quite and safe location. We booked for one night and arrived very early with the night train,arrived at the hotel around 6:30am and the staff let us check in right away,we took a nap and went out to explore the city. When we came back the cleaning lady made our bed and changed our bath towels ... just wow! Normally other hotels might not even let yoi check in before 2 but this hotel did and did even more! :) hotel location is perfect to explore the city. Breakfast was good. Room is big. High ceiling. Well maintained. Bathroom is functional. Bed was big and comfy. Only down part is the heater that was noisy otherwise we love our stay.

Location was great, in the heart of the city. The staff was fantastic. We requested an iron and a more firm pillow, and they delivered. The room was spacious as well. We also requested a room with a shower instead of a tub, and they provided that as well. Overall the stay was great. Our only complaint was that there were two single mattresses pushed together and not in one frame either. The bed frames would slide easily on the floor. The two mattresses should be in the same frame so they don't come apart, or just go with a double/queen mattress, not two singles.

The hotel is located just on the fringe of the old town. Easy access to the tram system. Room was large and had a small kitchen which we did not use. I was most dissappointed by the staff. When booking on hotels.com, we booked a room with a balcony. When we arrived, we were told that there were no balcony rooms. Manager managing the front desk didn't seem to care that it was a problem. Basically, he told us we needed to contact Hotels.com. I would not stay here again nor recommend to a friend.

A true boutique

Outstanding boutique hotel with huge suites. They are in transition of some sort, changing the hotel's name. Perhaps that is why the attention to detail was less than what we expect when we pay for five star lodging. The restaurant staff (A bartender...yep, just one person) did my inspire confidence in their cuisine, so we left to spend our money elsewhere.

Centrally located in the Old Town but quiet and away of pedestrian streets that may keep you up at night with loud drunk people. Of the many hotels I've stayed in Bratislava I think this is my favorite although is more expensive.

We like this boutique hotel very much. It was very nicely modernised in an elegant traditional building. We used the fitness centre each morning and found it very good for us. The staff were all vey helpful and friendly. The hotel was a good base for exploring the Old Town and was convenient for the excellent new Eurovea shopping mall.

Lovely, centrally located hotel. No smoking allowed which was a bonus given everyone smokes everywhere in Bratislava. Fabulous rooms with all the amenities you need. Only down side was its pets policy, very unhygienic allowing dogs in the restaurant areas.

Beautiful hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff, perfect location within short walking distance of all the main sites. Suites are very spacious and we'll equipped (a kitchenette even!). Modern and luxurious accommodation also marks this hotel out from others in the city. It fell down somewhat on cleanliness of the room and noise transference between rooms (although this is pretty difficult for the hotel to control to be fair)

Lovely stay at Christmas!

Wanted a nice hotel close to city center and Christmas market. This hotel was perfect for us! The staff was always attentive and helpful. Location was close to Christmas market, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was included and was always very good. Hotel was clean and renovated nicely, leaving the character of the old building intact. Room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Recently stayed here while touring the Christmas markets in Bratislava. Nice luxury hotel not too far away from the opera house and the old centre. Room we stayed at was spacious and had a dedicated living room. Breakfast was good with enough selection. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Will stay here again when I am back in Bratislava.

Quite simply the best hotel in Bratislava. The rooms are spacious and clean and have everything you could want. The location is now even more ideal with the tram line from the train station complete. The staff is pleasant and helpful but unobtrusive. Particularly if you can get a good price, this is the hotel to book in Bratislava.

Delightful Find in Bratislava

This property is one of the best I've experienced and tremendous value. Very well located, easy walking distance to the old town, lots of good restaurants within walking distance, huge room (actually a 1 bedroom apartment!!), excellent breakfast, very convenient parking and truly extraordinary personnel. Can't say enough good things about this hotel and highly recommend you take a look if you plan to spend any time in Bratislava!

My husband and I stayed in the Tulip Hotel for 3 nights to explore Bratislava. The hotel is in an excellent location, walkable to all the major sights. The rooms were big and comfortable. My only negative comment is that the carpet was stained and could have done with a clean.

Wow! Hidden Gem!

Never expected this trendy, hip, sleep hotel to be such a great experience. Awesome surprise in a great city many choose to skip or handle as a \"day trip.\" Worth the stay!!!

Room was simply incredible - very clean, minimalist yet refined decor in very good taste. Simply a great accommodation.

Food at the hotel was very good, good and staff is friendly, service oriented and gave us great recommendations for dinner and drinks at night.

Breakfast can use a bit of an upgrade but it serves the purposes

We really enjoyed our stay. The room, food and service was fantastic.
Our only issue was that the airport car that we booked through the hotel was 20mins late, however, we still made our flight and that didn't diminish from the great experience that we had.

A truly boutique Hotel!

What a lovely and stay comfortable I had. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Location is excellent. Just outside the hotel if you take right and go up the street and turn left you will come towards a junction from where you can see a nice and sprawling mall. Also in the vicinity is a Angels club whe re you can smoke a nice shisha if you are into such things. Most importantly city is cheap abs people friendly. :)

Tulip House is hands down the best boutique hotel, if not the best hotel in Bratislava (though I have stayed mostly at just the boutique ones so hard to say). Extravagantly spacious rooms, sensitive renovation, location just at the edge of the historical center on the way to Eurovea. Excellent staff, helpful but unobtrusive.

An Art Nouveau gem in Bratislava

We spent only one night at the Tulip House hotel, but I wish I could have stayed for more. We got a Deluxe Suite, and it was huge. It had a separate sitting area, divided by a piece of furniture. It also had a huge kitchen area, with a kitchen with a stovetop and microwave (no oven). We had a balcony overlooking the main road. The Art Nouveau building was built in 1903 and turned into a 5 star hotel in 2008 (I think). The exterior of the building is beautiful, and the interior renovation is modern, while respecting the building's Art Nouveau origins. The room was incredibly spacious, with very high ceilings and lots of windows, and the bathroom was well appointed. It is about a 5 minute walk from the main square and the old town. We walked to the Christmas markets, and ate some delicious food in the old town. I would stay there again in a minute.

Tulip House Boutique Hotel in Bratislava is a nice place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel service is quick and prompt, plus they were flexible in giving us an additional hour for late check-out. Breakfast at the hotel is great, food was delicious and service was prompt. The hotel is located between the shopping centre (10mins walk) and the old town area (10mins walk), this makes it convenient as a location.

The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel with very large rooms. The location is ideal.. Only 5 mins walk into old town and 5 mins to the shopping mall.

There is major roadworks in front of the hotel as they are building a tramway and new bridge. This is most likely due for completion by the end of the year.

The roadworks didn't bother us much, but may be too noisy for some.

Wonderful service. The staff went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable, recommending terrific restaurants and a great tour. Our stay came with breakfast, which was amazing. Everything you could possibly want, fresh fruits and juice, eggs cooked to order, pastries, cheeses and meats. We were traveling with our six year old son, who enjoyed the hotel as much as we did.

I have never left a review for a hotel; I just travel too much and find that usually when you pay a lot you get a nice hotel and when you pay a little you get less. It would take too much time to leave a review every time we traveled. This time, however, the experience was so extraordinary that I am compelled to leave a review. This hotel is not only the best in Slovakia, I would say it is one of the best hotels in all of Europe--and we stay in the Four Seasons, Ritz Cartlons, etc. We checked in for one night and liked the hotel so much that we added a second night and stayed in Bratislava, skipping our scheduled trip to Budapest. The hotel is walking distance to everything in Bratislava. It is safe, clean, luxurious, and most of all, BIG. The rooms are all designed like apartments. They have kitchens, big full bathrooms, large TVs and they are immaculate. Everything is bright and updated. The service is excellent. The price is amazing. I still cannot believe they offer such an amazing hotel for such a good price. We did not use the kitchen or any of the many closets or the extra seating and tables, but just having the space around us was so relaxing. The clear glass elevator and the wide hallways and staircase was just so refreshing and nice. It is a non-smoking hotel so there is no odor anywhere. Just a very, very pleasant experience that I look forward to repeating in the future!

This is my 18 trip to Europe since 1998 and this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything impeccable, including service.

Great Place - TOPS

The Tulip hotel was absolutely lovely. Their reception staff fabulous. their recommendation for where to eat was great. The only thing negative that I would say is their recommendation for a local guide. I told the front desk that I had tried to connect with a group, she recommended. He was young, inexperienced and wad more of a driver than a guide. While he was a sweetheart and wanted to please, he could share little to nothing on the history, provide no tid bits of culture and it was really very upsetting in the end. This is less about ther hotel and more about their recommendation.
