Check in staff excellent room very nice spacious very comfortable but then 2nd night no AC 😡 room 26.5 degrees did not sleep a wink. When checking out no offer of refund or complimentary water which we had to use. Quite disappointing end and will email the hotel on return for some form of refund

What an incredible weekend stay at this stunning property. Mama’s is everything you would hope for a Boutique Hotel to be. Maria on Reception is such an asset to the team - we felt so welcomed and that no request was too much to ask. Lovely spa facilities and modern chic bathrooms - loved the soaker bathtub. All in all a 10/10 experience.

Excellent quality hotel for a cheap price!
We couldn’t fault the hotel in any way. The value for money was amazing considering all the extras that came with our stay - a delicious free breakfast and access to a great gym/pool/sauna. Our room was modern, comfortable and luxurious. The location of the hotel was also perfect as we were able to park our car out front and walk everywhere we needed to go in the city. Would definitely return to this hotel if we came back to Bratislava.

Room was nice and clean but they advertised themselves with a spa area and in reality it was only a sauna and a cold pool. We were informed the sauna wasn’t working and so pool also not available. That was the only reason we picked the hotel. Way too expensive for what it is.

We also asked reception to order a taxi to get us to a prearranged trip and they sent us to the wrong destination

Lovely Stay in Slovakia
Lovely little hotel! Really clean, stylish and good location that was a short walk to the centre of Bratislava, Eurovea shopping centre and local shops and cafes. Breakfast was of a good quality and lots of choice. The pool and sauna were a great bonus addition although they were smaller than we expected. The only downsides were that there seemed to be a lot of door slamming at night that kept waking us up; this may have been because we were on the 1st floor. Also we were made to wait to check in but others arrived later and got served before us; this may just be queuing culture vs our British expectations! Overall really enjoyable stay

Quality hotel in quieter area.
We only stayed for a quick overnight before moving on to Venice. The hotel is in a quiet residential area away from the Old Town. The service and facilities were first class. If we had been staying longer we would probably have made use of the pool or spa facilities. Breakfast was a little limited in choice but more than adequate for our needs. I would probably opt to be nearer to the centre of town than here but it was walkable in fifteen to twenty minutes. If you are happy to be a little out of the way then I would recommend here.

Lovely hotel. Walking distance to the old town. Beware of using the Taxi's booked by the hotel, they took us a very long way round to the train station and charged us 15 euros. Proper ripped off!

Wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Polite helpful staff, costly refurbishment of an old property in a \"run down\" but quiet housing area some distance from the centre. Shower/bath arrangement not thought through properly and lift stops between floor levels a real design error. Stale bread at breakfast and often items missing/not replenished. Cold sauna and jacuzzi not working. Realistically, not up to a claimed 4* standard - cost more than our 4* hotel located near the centre of Vienna which was superb. Like most hotels I find sleeping on a plastic mattress protector abominable even though it may have a sheet over it. I understand why it's fitted but there are other protectors that are less \"sweaty\" and such an irritant on the skin. There are other more comfortable mediums to protect mattresses. Won't stay at this hotel again. However, Bratislava is a great place to visit, friendly people, good bus/tram/train services. Eat and drink in the \"native\" local places (can be difficult to find but they are there) for best service/tastiest wholesome food. I will refrain from adding any photos as I don't wish to further criticise the hotel.

Nicely decorated hotel out of town about 30 min walk. Booked for the pool which was closed as the owner wanted to use it!!!! When we got to use it the next day was cold. Breakfast was very good and the girl on breakfast and check out was great. Room was very nice although the cot that as given was broken so couldn't use.

Fantastic stay at Mama's Boutique Hotel
A very nice and quiet hotel I strongly recommend. Clean, comfortable, quiet with friendly staff and good restaurant. If a family, I really recommend you rent one of the apartments. Very spacious with all amenities and a very nice kitchen and salon. Perfect for a few days in Bratislava. Located in a very calm area about 20 minutes walking distance from the old city. Not a problem if you dont mind walking a bit. Or there still is UBER.

Great little hotel but concerns about security
This is a lovely boutique hotel albeit on the edge of town 15 minutes walk from The Old Town and 20 minutes walk from the train station although they tell you it's only 10 minutes walk to the Old Town (and I walk fast). I had no hot water on the first night & morning but once I reported it to reception it was quickly sorted out. I was a bit concerned that I came back at 00.30 at night and could just walk straight into the hotel and up to my room without being stopped so I would say the security at night is not all that great as anyone from the street could walk in and wander round the hotel.

We loved this hotel! The ONLY downside was the bathroom. As 2 friends traveling together, we found it a bit awkward to have an opaque sliding glass door for the bathroom. We had to arrange it so that the other person stayed behind the corner while the other was using the facilities. We managed, but it was a bit strange! Other than that, the hotel was amazing!!! The location is a bit out from the historic center, but it was an easy walk into town. I would recommend doing your research on the tram/bus lines before you go. It is a bit confusing to figure out the stops and the routes. The map at the hotel was good but didn't have the transportation routes on it.

The hotel featured very comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was good with a small variety of options. The hotel features a pool and sauna, however, the use of sauna is at a cost, which is a bit disappointing. The hotel Japanese restaurant is of very good quality and offers a good selection of food at reasonable prices.

We stayed here only one night, but I wish it had been longer. The room was amazing, including a choice of pillows based on soft-firm preference! The bathroom was great with a fantastic shower and lovely bed and bathroom linens. Room service was also wonderful with some of the best food we've eaten on our two month long trip. The only downside - beware the orange juice. It is delicious but is advertised as being 2 euros, however that price is per 100ml so you end up paying 6 euros for the glass of juice. Apart from this minor upset, the rest of our stay was wonderful.

We arrived there late and they were very helpful at reception. The rooms are top quality with a good Ac system . They also have smart tv however the wi-fi signal was poor but worked ok . The breakfast room is small but the beakfast made up for it . It is a suitable location for business people on short stays

Beautiful Hotel - A Real Gem!
This boutique hotel was such a gem. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, despite the language barrier. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. I didn't have time to enjoy the rooftop terrace or the pool or fitness center, but I did take a look at them and they were in perfect condition! There was also a wonderful selection of food at breakfast, which was included in the price. If I ever make my way back to Bratislava, I will definitely book a stay at this hotel again!

It was very surprising to find such an excellent boutique hotel in this part of Bratislava. The quality of the room, the service and food was first class and it provided me with everything I required for a 3 day business trip. The restaurant was well used at lunch time by business executives, which says volumes about the quality of the dining, The evening meals were of a very high quality, something that you wouldn't expect in this part of town. Overall it was a \"hidden gem!\"

The staff were friendly and helpful! The breakfast was delicious. There was a jacuzzi on the roof which was amazing. We didn't get to try the other facilities which was a shame. We were walking distance from everything. The only small problem was that our beds were very small. We could turn in them much but they were still comfortable. Would stay there again but probably in a double room.

Great stay at Mamas boutique with a group for a friends wedding. The hotel staff were really accommodating & great facilities for such a small hotel. The roof top garden was a great spot to hang out & the Sushi restaurant in hotel & Indian next door were delicious. Have marked it down one for surrounding neighbourhood, we were not aware that is was opposite a prison but to be honest it didn't bother us at all & shouldn't be a cause for concern. My overall experience at Mama's was very good.
The welcome was short and sweet, I was in my room within 3 minutes. Unfortunately the safe was not working, but when I informed reception about it they immediately offered me an alternative room, which was identical to the original.
All the staff were friendly and always willing to help. They provided maps and printed out bus routes for me and they let me borrow their umbrella.
The hotel doubles up as a sushi restaurant, providing great quality Japanese cuisine. 10% discount for hotel guests.
Being situated away from the busier parts of town, there was never any problem with noise, so I always had a good nights sleep.

I spent 2 nights here as I explored Bratislava. Great hotel about 15 minute walk from the train station and historic center. It was really too hot (95 F, 35 C) to enjoy walking about so a good base was appreciated. Normally I would not comment on AC but the room was real comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Both warm and cold entries. I did not use the workout room but it had all you needed for a great workout. They have free loaner bikes and I intended to bike along the Danube but it was just too hot.

I booked this hotel for a one-night during a weekend jaunt to Slovakia with my daughter and her boyfriend. After a long drive from Olomouc, even with GPS, it was a bit confusing to find the hotel on a short side street. When we did, we were able to park directly in front of the hotel, checked in quickly and set off to explore the hotel amenities. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with bathrobes and bedroom slippers waiting for our arrival. Each room is equipped to make tea or brew coffee, and there are biscuits to have with your tea as well. There is also a cupboard and refrigerator full of snack items for purchase. The bathrooms were large for a hotel, clean and modern. As for meals, the restaurant has a Sushi restaurant on site, but we elected to have dinner at the little Italian restaurant next door. The complimentary breakfast consisted of a selection of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, eggs and sausages served buffet style. No complaints. The evening was spent relaxing in the rooftop jacuzzi. It is about a 15 or 20 minute walk to the river and the Old Town. We were able to get a map of Bratislava from the desk, as well as information about local tours and places of interest. We had no difficulties with language - the staff were able to understand English and provide us with the information that we needed. If I ever get to Bratislavia again, I would definitely stay at Mama's.

This was our second stay. It's difficult to find at night because it's in a quiet, almost residential neighborhood. But other than that, the hotel is beautifully decorated, breakfast was fine, parking is free and right in front of the hotel and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also accommodate our small dog. It is probably one of the most stylish, cozy hotels I've been to for a great price. We'll absolutely return.
