Hotel is dated. I requested a different room because the floor was sticky all over and the furniture broken. Also no elevator. I almost walked out and went to another hotel. Also the toilet rocked back and forth. I had the hotel switch the office chair because the one I had would go down when I sat in it. The refrigerator made a scratching noise all night.

The jet tub plug did not hold water so the tub drained no matter what we tried. The toilet leaked all over the floor and the bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor. What can I say, it’s an Econo Lodge.

I hate to leave reviews but i would absolutely never stay here again beds and sheets covered in hair in our first room. Spoke to the manager moved to another room both were nasty the other room had what it appears to be dried blood on the was. It was absolutely disgusting me and my family had to go spend 100 bucks on bedding and cleaning supplies so we could lay our head down since they refused to give us a refund. So if your looking for somewhere to stay dont stay herem. I will put pictures

The staff was very friendly. Hotel is close to Kentucky Kingdom and Expo Center. It was in the 90’s when we were there and the AC was not turned on in the room. The room was hot and smelled quite bad. The odor got much better after the room cooled down. There were several dead bugs on the floor and in the bathroom. Also there were stains on the bathroom wall, something gross on the bed frame. Couple different outlets didn’t work.

This property is extremely old, smelly, disgusting , Beds are horrible and lots of wear and tears. Does not worth the money. Small and old toilet . You do not want to use it. Lots of cigarette burn marks on the toilet sit.

Was actually impressed with property until that evening when I decided to iron my work clothes. Pulled ironing board down and out fell 4 used injection needles. I was horrified and really scared for safety. Reported thos to front desk, and it seemed as though they were not concerned at all that I as a guest could have been stuck by them. I will definitely not be staying there again and encourage if you do to do a proper safety check of the entire room at check-in.

If you can afford better, do it

It’s in a shady area of town. Strip club across the street and a liquor store literally attached to the building. I didn’t feel safe, but the beds were nice enough, except I kept getting an electric shock from all the sockets. Don’t be fooled be the free breakfast. It was just a bunch of stuff in packages. The front desk was very nice though. I don’t want them taking the flak!

I will NOT stay here again!!!

There is a woman who works the front desk that is EXTREMELY rude. Not just to me, but to everyone staying here. When i first arrived, she told me very sternly, that i was to have no guests after 9pm. Honestly, i didnt take her seriously. That night, my family did what most families would do, which is to visit each other while in the area. No one was loud, there were no complaints and my family left that night quietly and respectfully. Granted it was a couple hours past 9pm, but there werent any problems. On the day i was supposed to check out, I decided to extend my stay. I did what i had previously done which was to go to hotels.com and make my reservation then I went to the front desk to let them know that I had extended my stay. I was told that i would need to remove all of my belongings from the room before check-out time (11am) and i could return to the exact same room anytime after 3pm. I dont have a car, so that would leave me sitting in the lobby for 4 hours before i could return to my room. I could understand if they had to clean the room, but they werent going to even walk in it. They did give me one other option, I could pay a $25 fee which would allow me and my things to stay in the room. I paid the fee because I had too much luggage to move like that. After I paid the fee, the lady stopped me and told me that instead of 9pm, i wasnt to have any guests after 7pm now. The breakfast is cereal with warm milk and orange juice that tastes like chemicals.

This place is a sorry excuse of a hotel. I am shocked that the name brand on the building hasn't been revoked by the franchise. The staff is completely disrespectful and rude. They act as if it is an inconvenience to offer any type of customer service. I was hassled out of money and was almost talked out of using Expedia when booking the first night. I was told that the price difference between the two wasn't a factor when in fact there was a $40 difference in the price of the same room for one night. If I would have booked with them they would have got me for an extra 40 dollars. They only had 4 guest stay the first night and decided that breakfast wasn't worth preparing for 4 guest. Complete lack of give a f~€£!!!!!

We stayed here for the Kentucky Derby as it was the only reasonably priced hotel in the city and we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel.

I've stayed at a few budget friendly hotels, but this was one of the worst in terms of condition of the room. Strong cigarette smoke smell, loose change and dust on the floor, bathroom door handle didn't work, dripping sink faucet...the room had a long list of issues both cleaning and maintenance. It looked like the only thing that had been cleaned in between guests was the linens, which I guess is something. If I hadn't prepaid, I probably wouldn't have stayed more than a night. Bagels at breakfast were had some soggy spots on them (?). Staff was polite enough, though no one was available when I went to check out.

I feel terrible to leave a bad review because the staff was so kind. That was the only positive of our stay however. We stayed for two nights for a festival in town and weren’t expecting the Ritz, just needed a comfy place to sleep. When we got back after a long day, we peeled back the sheets the find a maggot on the pillow. I was horrified and the hotel employee was super apologetic but because the hotel was sold out there was nothing more he could do for us than change the pillow case. The entire bed and all of the linens were damp from the air conditioner. We were then kept up from all of the people entering the hotel all night as well as the jerk who pulled into the abandoned liquor store directly outside of our bedroom window and bumped their subwoofers from 2-3 am. The next morning I tried to get coffee from the complimentary breakfast bar, but instead got a cup full of thick sludge and had to find a nearby gas station instead. The parking lot was full of cars who had presumably driven back drunk from the festival and smashed into each other because of how small and tight the lot is. The second night was uneventful and we were able to sleep. The location was decent as far as proximity to the expo center. It was an $11 Uber to get there. Overall, was not the greatest hotel experience and we will be finding somewhere else next time we are in town.

Barely any parking, if you have a truck it’s hard to find decent spot. I had a trailer and didn’t pay attention when I booked in a hurry. But I did back up my trailer and it was out of the way and only took two spots which I booked room for 2. They made me unhook it and park individually, called me after to tell me I have to unhook it or park it outside of the motel, very rude.

Hotel room smelled weird as soon as we came in, AC takes forever to cool the room even though it’s on all day, BREAKFAST was like 4 items you can eat (waffles, bagels, cupcakes and cereal. No elevator and honestly it was a mistake booking at this place and I travel a lot. Oh and they didn’t clean the room we had to remind them to clean and make the beds.

Overall this is not a bad hotel. It is tucked away just enough that it does not seem to be effected by the environment it is surrounded by. The area around it is not that nice and appears to be very depressed with a good amount of police activity. If you stay here, just be aware of your surroundings.

Our stay was quiet and uninterrupted. We had our service dogs with us because when we booked this, the site said they accepted dogs however they do not. The owner forced us to show documentation that they are service animals and we had to pay them a dog fee of $15 a night for each dog for our 3 night stay so we paid an extra $90 to have our service dogs stay with us. The site also says they have a continental breakfast. Although the equipment is there for breakfast, they do not provide anything. Its cheap, clean and quiet. Not mad about my stay, just not impressed.

The bed was broken down and not comfortable. The room was very hot when we got there. And it was 90 out side took for ever to cool down. Had to crank up the fridge for my husbands insulin. The most bothersome aspect of our stay here was the immediate and awful smell we were hit with when we entered the room. It smelled as if someone had just used the toilet and didn't flush. The toilet was clean. The room was clean. But the awful smell lingered. My husband seem to think the smell was coming from the sink. Won't stay here again.

I was traveling by myself for a competition my son was in. I arrived very late on the 25th. Checking in was great, the room was clean. I was supposed to be there till Saturday the 29th. When I arrived at hotel on Friday night, there was a lady behind the counter and one on the other side of the counter. The lady on my side of the counter was clearly intoxicated. She asked me if I had a room there. I told her it was none of her business, she then said \"it is my business\". The women behind the counter stated \"yes she does have a room, isn't it 218\". The lady behind the counter then handed the other lady a set of keys and told her to go get something. At this point I then asked if there was a problem with my room. The desk clerk said no, that the other lady had been drinking. I then went up to my room and my key wouldn't work. The lady that was intoxicated came out of another room down the hall from my room. As she approached me, she stated \"what your key don't work\", so at this point she put what I assume to be the master key in the lock and opened my door. She then stood in my door and kept stating why do you want in this room. I told her that It was my room. At this point I stated \"then maybe we should just go back down stairs\". I then closed my door and made sure to walk behind her downstairs to the front desk. She told the desk clerk that the key wasn't working. I left a night early for my safety.

My family was traveling into Louisville. They booked a hotel at the same time I book a hotel. I tried to cancel my reservation three minutes after paying the full price for my family to stay and this sorry Hotel would not give me one dime of my money back. Even though I did not step foot into the hotel and tried to cancel the reservation 3 minutes after making it I was not allowed even a penny refund. I would watch staying in a place like this where people will gladly steal your money and do crooked Acts such as what they have done to me. I will spend the rest of my life killing everyone how I was treated here and through Expedia. Do not use Expedia and do not stay at this hotel unless you want to be robbed

I recently had the Joy of paying an astronomical price a night for this establishment I checked in well I came to check in but the deposit hadn't been raised in the hour it took me to get there so I got to sit outside for almost three hours while I had to wait for my husband to bring the deposit. My ten-year-old Chihuahua and I who has severe COPD did enjoy watching the going on to the stripclub across the street I'm not judging it all they seem like nice young ladies and gave us something to watch and they seemed all be having a good time.the next morning when I went to re book I accidentally booked for the next day instead of that day and no one could seem to fix this for me which seems odd but after two hours or not being fixed and they threw me out kept,my deposit and didn't allow me time to grab most of my things. I was then called by them informed that I was banned from their establishment and they would not honor my stay on Saturday which ended up me paying 3 days for one night. ..lol I would like everyone to do a buyer beware of paying up front for these hotels I have had them claim that I didn't give them money when they seen the statements that I clearly did or that they have not received it yet reserve these roomses but do not pay for them until you arrive because I personally have been robbed many times attending to book rooms . Get yourself a disposable gift card use those for deposits and find hotels you can pay in cash good luck guys
