The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entrance/ramp was awful and very difficult getting the luggage cart in and through the doorway. Open butter dish in the breakfast area with a shared butter knife was unacceptable. Sometimes a shared bottle of jam was there also. The building is in need of repair. One spot in the room had a big dip and one mattress had a cavern; no one could have slept on that side. Refrigerators in the room was nice; it would have been good to have microwaves.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. First room, the tub faucet had steady water leak and bathroom floor was very weak and felt like you would fall through floor when stepped on. We ask for another room and that room was dirty and had no bed coverings. Then we had to ask for another room. We were never given an apology at all at any of the 3 times we had to change rooms - he acted completely bothered and was very rude during the whole experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

There is NO AIRPORT shuttle. Expedia has the wrong information. We were meeting a couple from England and purposely booked this Super 8 for the shuttle. My bathroom ceramic floor was cracked; the bathtub had the finish peeling off. My husband called the motel a \"dump.\"

Paying over $100 per night for a room with a broken bed, sunken mattress, dirty walls, broken floors, and dirty everything else feels too absurd to not say anything. The whole hotel smells like it hasn’t been cleaned or updated since they stopped allowing smoking back in the early 2000s. We stuck around for 10 minutes total before deciding that it was more worth our time, and probably better for our health, to drive 4 hours home at midnight instead of sleeping here. Would not recommend.

Parking is not secure, staff is rude, waits for you to leave, and enters your room searching through your personal belongings for “smoking” when you aren’t there, gave me a discounted rate for my emotional support animal and then acted like it never happened. Harassed my entire family the entire stay. Every time they saw us it was, “where is the dog”, “what room are you in”, “where is your I.d.”, “your room smells nice, what perfume is that”, etc. Bed bugs galore, dog piss in hallways, workers smoke in building, workers come to the door at 10:30 pm to “give towels”, never got fresh towels, the list goes on and on. It was the worst experience we have ever encountered.

I arrived for my stay at the Super 8 hotel. I had called to confirm my hotel stay for the day before with 2 pets as I was in town for a dog show. The receptionist confirmed my reservation. I arrived and said my name. The receptionist asked if I still had 2 pets. I said \"yes\" and that I had 2 dogs. They then informed me that they have sold all their \"pet rooms\" for the evening because there was \"some event going on\". I very loudly explained that the \"event\" was the dog show that I was supposed to be reserved for. The man shrugged and reiterated that there were no pet rooms. Asked him what I was supposed to do at 7pm at night when I had a reservation. He shrugged again and said he didn't know. I told him I already paid for the hotel and wanted a refund. He told me that the person that handles all refunds wasn't in and I would have to figure out out at a separate time. I still have not received a refund and I never stayed at this location due to them selling their rooms even with a refund.

We got there late and already problems another place prior to booking here. They advertise smoke free and clean rooms. The whole hotel smelled like weed and smoke on our floor. The floors in our room were sticky and there were wrappers where it hadnt been properly cleaned. If it hadn't been for the late night, we would have left. We were told the following morning that there would be no reinbursement for leaving a day early. All they could do is, give us another rokm or clean the one we were in. We have 2 small children and the smoke smell and cleanliness was ridiculous.

I did not stay because the room was no where near the quality represented in the photos. The exterior was dingy, overgrown with weeds and run down. Windows boarded up with plywood. The only thing worse than the hotel itself was the rudeness of the employees. I think this is a hotel they use for welfare people. There were people walking around in pajamas and slippers, people milling around outside and in the lobby, the elevators didn't work. It was just all around horrible. We would have left but it was really late and we were exhausted. Good thing we were only staying 1 night.

This property would have got a negative review if possible. Weird activity outside all night. A woman in a uhaul with a bed inside doing who knows what in the parking lot. Only stayed because I had worked all day, was traveling and was late. The inside wasn’t much better. The breakfast was an open gallon jug of milk, a few pieces of bread and powdered doughnuts. The floor in the bathroom was soft like it would fall through. Worst hotel experience of my life.

I called to let them know we’d be arriving late. We got there at 11:30 pm. We went to our room and the AC had not been on (it was 89 that day) and the hot water in the shower was on and wouldn’t turn off. The room was burning up and super humid. Instead of giving us another room immediately, they made us sit in the hot room and watch the maintenance man attempt to fix the shower. After 15 minutes, I just asked for another room. They sent us to a room that was dirty (bed unmade and towels all over the place). We asked for another room. That room was okay but the floors were cracked in the bathroom and everything seemed moist/damp. It was after midnight at that point so we just made do. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

I was surprised by the niceness of the Room. Clean quiet restful night. I had one problem to no avail. My Smart T.V. wasn’t so smart as I along with two employees David & Kai spent 45 minutes trying to troubleshoot. I was in Room 103. I was offered to switch Rooms for which I declined because I was exhausted and already comfortably situated in the Room.

The room was not clean when we arrives, the towels were dirty and there were not enough - the extra ones we received were also dirty. The whole place stunk of cigarettes and some unknown musty odor. A man was lying in the parking lot taking his pants off one night. Another night the elevator got stuck on the first floor and the front desk did not answer our calls, and the emergency phone did not connect to the fire department (it rang twice then went silent).

The staff was friendly, but they are understaffed. Our room was incredibly dirty. We went out and bought cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves because we really had nowhere else to go. There was used soap in the tub and drinks left in the refrigerator which makes me question whether the sheets were even changed or if they just made the bed. We had only one towel and it was wet. The toilet seat was literally cracked in half and we got only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper. Usually pretty happy with Super 8. This was not the best one I’ve ever been to.

Awful hotel. Do not stay here. Bathroom was dirty. Staff didn’t care when I told them the comforters had cigarette burns in them. Continental breakfast was a joke and the room was dirty and food was all over the counter. One morning, they didn’t have coffee cups but there were lids for whatever reason. Next morning, no cups or lids. The interior of the motel looks like someone DIY’d all over that dump. Doesn’t feel safe to stay there. Louisville residents said it has a reputation for drugs and sex trafficking. Only reason I had to stay there was lack of availability at other places due to a music festival in town.

When I arrived at the motel in the bathroom the bathtub was filled with dirty towel and complimentary shampoo and conditioner containers it looks like it hadn't been cleaned or having used I asked the management did he give us a clean room and explain to him what was there in the bathroom I I also had dirty towels and he gave me clean towels not what I needed but what they had that was the worst night that I have had oh my God I would not recommend that hotel to anybody not my worst enemy.

I was shocked when i first arrived. Being from another state, and booking online i expected cleaner and inside the airport grounds with a airport shuttle like it says online. Which was a lie. When it was time to check in the police was there dealing with a guy who wouldn't leave peacefully. Looking for something cheap and in the hood this is it. The staff was trying their best. Dont belive the pictures online thats all i can say. I guess it got the job done but i only stayed maybe 24hrs. Anything longer i would have snapped and just let them keep the money and get another hotel a real Hotel.! SMH

The walls in the hall needs paint to cover up the patched holes. There were large tears in the bed cover, stained sheets, a mattress with plastic covering under the sheets, old, rusty faucets and drains in the bathroom and a wall by the bathroom in horrible disrepair. The loud guests were also annoying. This hotel is not in a safe part of town and is very cheap for a reason.

The least expensive ($65) hotel in Louisville, KY on the night I made a reservation (6-19-2025)
Front desk rep asked me for $60 safety deposit (offered to pay with cash or card). I asked to confirm that this charge will e returned upon confirmation nothing is wrong with the room. I paid with credit card and charge was not returned. I had to dispute this scam charge with my credit card issuer.
Hotel is not maintained well. Entire facility is dirty, wear and tear signs everywhere.
Room was dirty: wall next to bed all covered with marks of dirty shoes and stains, bed headwall picture had a nipple cover sticked to it. Bed cover all in stains and appeared that some were bodily fluids. Sheets had some stains as well. Some of the towels were dirty with black marks and dirt.
Breakfast offered is minimal: yogurt, cereal flakes, toast bread, coffee.
Avoid this place if budget allows.

Room temp upon entry was very hot and humid. Knob on shower fixture falls off and has to be placed back on to to adjust water temperature. Water was very sparse in toilet and it took multiple flushes to get the toilet paper unstuck from the front of the bowl. Soap, shampoo & body wash were very sparse & inadequate for 2 people for 1 night. Could get better qualitiy mattress and pillows.

If i could give this hotel negative starts i would. Where do i start with this. We booked this hotel and by looking at the pictures it looks wonderful, but i’m starting to wonder if the pictures are doctored or fake because the pictures are nothing close to the actual property. when we first arrived, the property looked sketchy but we wanted to give it a chance, we went in and checked in went to the first room and it was disgustingly dirty and there was no fridge which we requested. We went back down and they switched us rooms which had a fridge but was also disgusting. And i'm talking, bed bugs, dust, dirt, black spots on the walls, window was gross, looked to be mold everywhere, we were disappointed and decided we could not stay there we had to get out as our skin was itching. Not to mention staff was horrible. The LADY who was working the desk when we left and returned our keys gave us the DIRTIES and SNOTTIEST look possible which i didn’t appreciate. we contacted our third party for a refund and they contact the hotel, the hotel said that we told them we were satisfied with the room (we never did, this was a false lie on the hotels part) and therefore refused to refund us our money. The staff was less than helpful, rude and gave us snarky and dirty looks as we left. This hotel is scamming people from there money by the looks of the reviews and after our incident i believe it. PLEASE avoid this hotel at ALL costs. This hotel is a scam. PLEASE avoid!!!!

Lets start with the pictures that are on Expedia of this hotel! They are not accurate its not the same as it shows in the pictures! The rooms are outdated! The room we stayed in had blood splattered on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The bathtube was so dirty they had painted over it. The smell of the whole hotel was pot and piss. It felt like we stayed in a old crime scene. The people working the lobby didnt want to give us anymore then the 2 towels that were already in the room for 4 people. The sheets and the towels were overly stained!! Dont be mislead by the reviews and pictures it is a lie!!!
