Good location for where I needed to be. No one was at the check in desk. I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to show up. Front desk people do not speak clear English so it was hard to understand them. Giant roach in the room! Room, bed and bedding was run down and it felt dirty knowing there were roaches in the room. Bed was worn and not very comfortable. Some female called me the day of check out and left a long, illegible message. I returned the call and it went to the front desk. The guy who answered said no females work there. Said he had no idea why someone from the front desk would call me. It all felt very shady. I would not stay here again because of the roaches and the creepy call. Not a safe place.

Power went out right before check out. Was not given a reciept. Was told incorrectly that my booking app would send a reciept. That is only if you pay online. I paid at the property meaning the property has to issue the reciept. The hotel also charged my card before I got to the property which is not supposed to happen. Corporate will get a phone call.

If you can try not to book at this Red Roof location, upon arrival to the hotel, we had to pay $100 deposit when other locations only charge $50. After entering the room, my associate went in to use the bathroom and there was a roach, very much alive, so they switched us rooms. The smell of the second room was overwhelming with cleaning products that I had to step outside, once I made it outside I see a couple of orange caps from a syringe laying on the ground. Front desk employee wasn’t very pleasant and shouldn’t checking in the guest. Overall very disappointed, but like they say you get what you pay for. All I can say is red roof do better!!!

When we arrived the person who help us was polite. The room was ok, smelled musty and it was ok. Beds weren’t super comfy but I after pressure was amazing. We found a full can of beer under our bed and the room could use a better cleaning. For a place to stay though but not for high expectations this would be the one.

The room was clean, but with a minor amount of age/disrepair. The bed was comfortable.
Despite being close to the freeway, which was excellent for visiting other parts of the city, the well treed perimeter blocks the sound of the vehicles.

I use to love this place. It was my go-to hotel whenever I needed to stay overnight in Louisville. The staff was very friendly the grounds are well kept and nice, it's nice an quiet and the \"party guess\" have been eliminated. The rooms are now starting to look ans smell old. It's time for some renovations. The ice machine was not working.

Check in is at 3pm….. arrived at 3:30 pm room was not ready. Desk clerk said I could go ahead and check in but it woul be 6pm before the room was ready? I booked this room months ago for the for a concert that weekend, plans were destroyed and wife was not a happy gal, lots of other people sitting around waiting for the rooms to be ready as well. Worst experience ever, no apology for this mess and no explanation from anyone. Steer clear from this mess

I can only rate the property and staff. We didnt even get to stay here to experience the rooms. My party and I arrived between 4:30-5:00. We pulled up to about 20 people standing in the very small lobby and outside. When I was finally able to get into the lobby to find out what was going on, we were told that no rooms were ready and she didnt know when they would be and she couldnt check anyone in. She then started taking phone numbers and saying in could be 6:30-7:00 before she could give out rooms. There was a concert in town, people were expecting to use those rooms to get ready and things. We asked if we could check in after the concert and she said that she couldnt guarantee there would be rooms available. Thats crazy. If you knew there was going to be a concert in town, you would be better prepared.

Very misleading pictures on the website. The lobby is very small and dated. The wallpaper is peeling from the walls, it’s very dark and has a weird smell… very off putting way to welcome guests. They took a $100 deposit at check in which I thought was a bit much. The room was very small and dark. Dated and not very clean… dust and hair in the corners and there were a couple hairs in the sheets. The tv didn’t work. It worked out for crashing after a concert but we didn’t even want to shower there the next morning we just wanted to leave immediately. I would not stay again .

Not the easiest to find the entrance to. A bit tricky. Check-in went fine, but desk was un-attended when I needed some assistance. Obvious smell of weed when I went in. Was supposed to recieve a package, 3 days later when I checked out I was told it never arrived. Nearby restaurants not very good.

It was the perfect stay for me. It had a microwave and a fridge that worked perfectly fine. I didn’t have any problems with water temperature at the hotel. The room was provided with an iron and ironing board, which was nice to have. In my 1 bed King bedroom, it also had a desk area to be on your laptop. Overall, I had a great experience here and would make sure to stay here again. I’m sure it said before I booked my stay, but there is no breakfast, which was a bummer.

Also, had an additional $100 charge to credit card which would be credited after I left, if room ok. Hadn't stayed at red roof inn for 40 years, kind of dated, couldn't stay at my usual choice chain. Probably would not stay again.

The location was close to the interstate and reasonably easy to find. We did not get there until almost 10 PM and the lighting in the area was not very good so we almost missed the side road to the hotel however, the lighting in the parking lot was very good, so that made it easy after we turned on the small side road to the hotel.
The room was clean and appears to have been recently painted. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. We were in town for an event at the Exhibition Center, so we had to leave by 8 AM both mornings and did not get to the room until almost 10 PM each night, so room size and amenities were not important as long as it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I absolutely would never stay at this property again and advise other \"just don't \". The advertising picture are not what the room turned out to be! Beds are dilapidated and pillows nasty. I left before my stay was scheduled to end. No one was at the front desk to discuss a refund. When i called the front desk i had to leave a message, which was never returned. Unprofessional manager lappearance was and shouod have alwrted me immediately but i gave it a shot. Never again! This should be removed from Expedia immediately.
Also i had insect bites adter the first night which i suspect are either bed bugs or spider. An absolute awful experience.

Well the first room 229 the door Knob fell off the door and my son couldn't get out the room and the Toilet Was leaking water so i moved to a new room 227 and it didn't have enough towels for us to take a shower and i went down to the front desk to ask for more they told me i had to wait until morning to get some and never got them

Desk clerk asked if we wanted TV because some rooms have defective TV’s; we didn’t need a TV. Then, unlike all other motels we’ve stayed with, this motel required a $50 deposit in addition to the nightly fare; I felt like an untrusted, suspicious character. No breakfast or morning snacks; they had coffee, but we don’t drink coffee. The room was clean and comfortable, but I felt the atmosphere was not hospitable.

First night woke up at 2 a.m with 5 insects on the floor to the right of my bed. Additional 6th bug to the left of my bed, 7th bug in the bathroom as well as 1 moth flying around. Photos taken of some of the insects. Checked out next morning. This is a request for refund for 2 nights stay.

Our stay began with an old, typed notice posted in lobby indicating there was an additional $50 retainer charged for each stay. When I mentioned that there were misspellings in the notice, the person behind the desk said, “yeah, we know.” That attention to excellence defined our stay.

When I checked into my room, everything was fine. When I returned in the evening, the room smelled of marijuana smoke to the point that my daughter and I could not breathe in the room. (The rooms were marketed as Non-Smoking) I contacted Expedia, and they were unable to move us to another hotel. The hotel was unwilling to refund us for the stay because I had already checked in. The 2nd room they offered us reeked of stale cigarette smoke and air freshener, which also was not doable for us due to asthma and allergies. The last resort was a first-floor room that smelled of mildew and mold. Without any other options, we stayed the night, but while the TV would turn on, it didn't have any available channels. And the outlets between the bed were not functional. We checked out early the next morning and moved to a different hotel, despite having paid for 2 nights and not being given a refund.

Checked in and checked out the same day. There was no way I was going to spend the night there. Walkong our dog we were able to see people people on the property shooting up drugs. I was in Red Roof of Hagerstown MD and it was better than Louisville.
The room was small. There was not any microwave and refrigerator and a furniture for sitting. The hairdryer was broken. I found a broken nail in bed.

The hotel itself was fine - the area that it is in, is the issue. It is back off the road behind a gas station where beggars ask you for money. I didn't see much for security .. the are is dirty all around the hotel ..... but my stay was fine, bed was comfortable .. everything worked. I am single guy traveling so for the price it was ok for me
