Front desk staff was amazing and the property as a whole is well kept. Our only complaint was the pull out couch had crushed up chips inside and a random dirty sock. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This was a great airport hotel. We liked the on-site restaurant and bar. The staff was just okay. Nothing special. Really liked the convenience of the hotel shuttle to the airport. The rooms were very clean, but the hallway carpets…… not so much. Overall, I would stay there again.

I usually don't travel to Louisville as its out of the way for me, but, 1st, the pros: Crown Plaza is HUGE! Directly across from the airport, the shuttle is a call and 5 minutes away (always ready to drive you wherever you want to go) with lots of parking for large events or guests. Theme park a short walk away with lots of rides currently open. Massive lots around the property to go walking or just a casual ride on bikes or scooters or whatever you're into. The staff were kind, pleasant, and helpful, always with a smile. Nice clean room with soft beds that fealt heavenly with matching pillows that provide the right amount of support. I don't drink so i didn't approach the bar and i didn't get to enjoy the breakfast as my return flight was scheduled to leave before breakfast was served.

The cons: vending and ice machine were a little walk as the halls are pretty long, though on the same floor. Every time I stepped into the hallway I smelled old piss. Could've been my strange sense of smell but it was only near my room and faded as I walked away. Convenience stores and strip mall aren't exactly nearby, but about a 5-7 minute car ride with little traffic at the right time or on the right days. Internet on my device was lagging. Could've been my personal device, though its never happened before and it's T-Mobile network.

I'd return with a rental car next time as the shuttle only goes 2 miles radius.
Over all, I'd give Crown Plaza a solid 4/5

Our night at the hotel was a nice respite before an early flight. The hotel provides shuttle service to the airport, and allows you to leave a car parked there for a nominal fee. The restaurant was surprisingly good and reasonably priced.

We had traveled 9 hours and went to the restaurant after checking in. It was 830pm and the restaurant did not close until 10. There were 2 people standing at the hostess station. When asked for a table of 4, she said it would be a 30 minute wait. I looked around and saw many many empty tables and not a lot of business. When I reaponded “really?” her reaponse was “ we need to clean the table”. That would have taken 2-3 minutes and it seemed that they did not want the business so we left.

The property is in great shape and well-renovated. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all great. The only thing that was sub-par was breakfast in the restaurant. I ordered eggs benedict and was disappointed. Rather than the typical hollandaise sauce, it seemed to be covered in something like chicken gravy and the whole meal was very salty. I hope that was just a one-off rather than representative of the restaurant.

The large area around the indoor pool made it attractive. There is a lot of glass around the area which gives the effect of an outdoor pool.

The desk employees were very helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast at Al's large restaurant. The server helped us start our day with her upbeat personality.

This hotel is wonderful. It was completely remodel in 2024 they said. Rooms were spscish and nice. All staff from shuttle, to front desk, to the eaters were very friendly. We stayed one night got there late bc of our flight but they still picked us up at airport to get us to the hotel and the guy at from desk was super nice. We ate breakfast which you pay for but was nice and lots of food choices. We wonder the property and seen the outside patio with fire pit; would have been awesome in the evening to sit out there with a drink! The pool area looked great (didn’t go in it) and their fitness area had everything you need for your workout. I would definitely stay again and commend it to anyone wanting a nice hotel experience!

The bathroom smelled like mildew and urine. The maid service was terrible, daily forgetting to replenish things like toilet paper, coffee, water. Everyday I had to call the front desk to bring up supplies. The window ledges inside and outside on our balcony were filthy and there was trash on our balcony.
The hotel staff was nice and helpful. The main lobby, bar, restaurant were nice and food at the restaurant was decent.

I arrived to check in at 6:00 pm and stood in line for 30 minutes only to be told my room wasn’t ready but would be ready in 45 minutes. An hour and half later at 8:10 I went back to the front desk to be told it still wasn’t ready. At 8:45 I finally received keys to the room only to arrive at the room to find it’s not the room I reserved. I reserved a junior presidential suite with a king bed but got put in a double bed suite. There was also a dirty towel left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The only compensation offered for all of this was free breakfast which we couldn’t even use. The experience was extremely frustrating and below par to say the least.

When I arrived the line to check in was horrendous. I waited in line over an hour and a half. When I got into my room it didn’t have towels, the hand washing soap and others were empty. The beds were a mess and the fridge didn’t work. May have been the last room and maybe the workers used it. The ice machines were broke. I tried to call but if the line was long I felt they wouldn’t answer but when they did answer they said they had over 300 people in front of them that we could come down and wait in line to ask for what we needed or just be out of luck until the line died down. If they seen or aware of a big event taking place they should have been better prepared. We checked in 5/8-5/10, 2026.

Everything was very clean and in good condition. The restaurant and bar were very good. Front desk staff was nice, but slow. We were there during the National Archery Tournament, and they were not prepared for as many people to be checking in at once that did and it took some of us almost an hour. There was no online check in available. It also took 3 calls over 2 days to get an extra blanket brought up to the room. Overall good stay. Just be prepared if you’re going on a busy weekend!

Our stay was wonderful. Only downfall was breakfast. It was basically a complimentary breakfast for $19. It was rather sad. I've had a better free breakfast at a 2 star Comfort Inn.

Eggs were sitting in water, walnuts were old and rancid, toaster was broken, no waffles or maker, basic breads and pre packaged muffins. Counters were messy.

Everything else about the stay was excellent.

This hotel is massive. We checked in with hundreds of archers all visiting for a national competition, we were here for a college graduation. Checking is was the least pleasant thing due to the sheer number of people checking in at the same time. The staff was kind and gracious even when their guests were not. There should be on online check in option for IHG members.
Breakfast was typical hotel food and I wish it was better or there were options to order something other than the same buffet we get anywhere.

Just a bad experience from start to finish. Over 1 hr to check in and the line just kept getting longer behind me. Only 1 of 2 elevators we're operating on our end of hotel. The bed was horrible, every little movement was felt by the wife. A piping noise in the wall closest to the bathroom was constant. Mentioned to hotel staff and they said \"we'll make sure to put your complaints into the computer\". Only stayed 1 of my 2 nights, checked out early.

Overall the stay was good. When first arriving at the hotel, there was only one front desk employee checking guest in and was the first hour of check in hours so there was a really long line. Room was clean. There were no pool towels available when we went to the pool and again there was a long line at the front desk so we used the room towels. The shower wasn't draining when using it and we found a massive hair clog in the drain. Gross! We were able to check it in the IHG app which was very helpful!

It was the weekend of the NASP Nationals Archery Tournament so check in at 9:30pm was about a line of about 40ppl in front of us and then the line kept going behind us. But the staff was able to quickly get us through and the man at the desk was absolutely amazing. I am hard of hearing and he immediately noticed that I was turning my good ear to him and spoke up and leaned towards me. It was extremely appreciated. He got us through check in quickly and was very professional. The rooms were clean. Interior was clean and well maintained. Great hotel.

No breakfast was offered. You can add it for $20 with room service, which is fine, but it specifically said in the Expedia “itinerary” section that two breakfast & dinners are available for the guests. Whether it’s a mistake or the hotel doesn’t offer that to begin with, it just needs fixed. Our air conditioning also didn't work, it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit when we arrived, we turned it to 70 and it went down to 78 the whole time we stayed.

Minor complaint is that the room had things like towels, coffee pot, tissues, etc. . . all stored on bottom shelves just above ground level. I am tall, 6 ft 1. It was difficult to bend down and figure out where everything was and how to make a cup of coffee. I did not like this design. Also, no spare blankets. Otherwise, very nice hotel.
