We booked two rooms for this stay, and unfortunately both rooms were not in a condition consistent with Extended Stay America’s advertised standards or basic expectations of cleanliness.

Upon arrival, both rooms showed concerning issues including:
    •    Visible stains on walls and ceilings
    •    Suspected mold or buildup on at least one air conditioning unit
    •    General lack of proper cleaning consistent with a guest-ready room

The condition of both rooms raised legitimate health and safety concerns for everyone in our group.

We paid over $200 for each room. Left this facility feeling scammed.

Great Stay – Clean, Comfortable & Convenient
I had a really solid experience during my stay. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax right away. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt fresh and organized.
The staff was friendly and professional from check-in to check-out. They were quick to answer questions and made the whole process smooth, which I appreciated.
Breakfast was simple but good—plenty of options to get your day started, whether you want something quick or a full plate. The dining area was clean and restocked regularly.
This is also a great spot if you’re traveling for business. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the room setup made it easy to get some work done without distractions.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a solid choice for both short visits and longer stays.

Awful. Do not recommend. Would not stay here again. Low quality, didn’t feel safe, dirty rooms, boogers on walls, smokers den - smelled awful had to open windows while watching outside that no one suspicious was around windows. Found sewing needle in bed after it got stuck in my daughters clothing. The surrounding area was booked up and now I know why this place was available. Pictures did not match our rooms. Plumbing didn’t work well, stains all over rooms etc. gross.

1. Poor TV Signal: either it was very jerky all night, or I had trouble getting any tv signal.
2. When I went to call the front desk about the TV signal, the hotel phone was not even powered on.
3. No reading light on one side of the bed
4. Very poor Grab & Go breakfast

The room was filthy!!!... Globs of dust or something under the dinning table, food smeared on chairs (had to put a towel over the chairs to even sit in them), sticky substance in fridge, chucks of left over soap in shower and by sink, dirty tub, something smeared on the bottom of the bathroom door, and food or something spilt on bedding (stained & crusty... assuming probably wasn't washed). Fire alarm was triggered and was told by a long term guest/resident that it was a reoccurring thing at least once a week. When I went to check out breakfast the first day, it consisted of 2 muffins, 1 nutrigrain bar, a couple packs of oatmeal, and coffee. I ended up checking out and leaving 5 days early.

I was woke up at 630 in the morning to a person high on meth outside my door. She was freaking out and i had to chase her off myself. It says their is breakfast. But its nothing more than a couple muffins and coffee. And its on a little rack no more than 3 ft tall and 3 ft wide. The shower head was broken. Our key cards constantly stopped working. The food nearby was nice. But i did a short walk to the nearest gas station and there were 2 junkies shooting up heroin with a pile of at least 100 syringes just laying there. Do not recommend.

This motel was an absolute nightmare—upon entering the room, we were hit with a revolting, damp, musty stench that never went away. The air was thick with mildew, making it hard to breathe and impossible to relax. Everything felt dirty and neglected, as if the place hadn't been properly cleaned or ventilated in years. No amount of air freshener or open windows could mask the horrible smell.

WARNING: Do not stay here under any circumstances. The unbearable, moldy stench alone is enough to ruin your trip. Look elsewhere!

Absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I expected cheap but not disgusting. Brought my own blanket to lay in top of the bed. Still felt itchy. The dresser drawers were broken. The remote batteries were gone. Every surface was dirty and sticky. Only stayed to sleep a few hours mid road trip. Otherwise would’ve taken the loss and left.

The office/lobby was closed when we arrived, around midnight. Eventually we found a phone on the outside wall, which connected us to someone who called an on-call attendant. The bed was sagging. The lawn was not mowed. Everything inside our room looked tired and dated. Cleanness was questionable.

I WOULD NEVER AGAIN

My CardKey was not working for the room, I went to the front desk to get a new one and apparently my “identification was deleted from the system”. I showed verification through purchase of room/type; due to my belongings being in the room along with my identification (ID). After being told that i was not able to go to my room and had the police called. The manager arrived and asked me to leave. She informed me that my ID was not in the system to begin with, which I do remember the employee taken a picture of my ID for it to be in the system. The manager then explained she was a new hire and that it was a mistake she would handle it. Due to the lack of proper training for their employees, I was not only not able to complete my stay but also not receive a refund. I would not recommend coming here due to the lack of proper care for the residency and disrespectful and irresponsible employees and management.

Check-in clerk was very kind and greeted us with a smile.
Our room was clean. The carpeted floor was dirty. I don't think it had been vacuumed in a long time. The rest of the room was clean. It was very dated and needs a update. The bed closest to door and a broken leg on the frame. The lock on the door was a pain. I think it needed new batteries. The walls are very think. Our room also smelled like cigarette smoke. The neighbors were smoking. The location was great. A lot of choices nearby for restaurants.

A highly undesirable room. Upon entering the room, we were immediately struck with an intense odor of nicotine and marijauana. The furnishings of the room were heavily damaged, holes on top of the furniture, drawers falling apart, lamps not functioning, the fire alarm from the ceiling was missing. The kitchen was so damaged that you could not even use it. The stove top was completely rusted. Cigarette burns all around the room. I immediately wanted to call front desk and when I picked up the room phone it was inoperable.

Cheap, clean-ish....but staff won't help you

Some pictures posted by the property can be a bit deceiving. The hotel definitely needs ongoing upkeep and staff dont seem to care much about the customers. We asked to switch rooms on 3 different occasions, every time being told theyd have a room for us on a specific day. However it never happened. The one front desk agent even told us to make sure all of our items in our current room were packed and ready to move to the new room the following morning, only for her to then tell us we werent getting another room as promised after we had packed everything up. Our room was on the bottom floor and had an awful draft under the door, so much so i had to put a winter jacket at the base of the door to help keep the draft out. The towel holder/shelf partially fell off the wall so we had to have maintenence come and fix it (which they promptly did). The shower drain is clogged so you get to stand in a good amount of dirty bath water as youre showering. The shower curtain is on the shorter side so water comes out of the bathtub and gets all over the bathroom floor, which has caused the floor to warp. The table in the room was SO wobbly you couldnt move much in fear it would break. The walls are so thin we could CLEARLY hear people's arguments in other rooms throughout our stay, amongst other things. The location of the hotel was good and general cleanliness wasnt awful (outside of cobwebs, and some questionable stains on the carpet). We wont be staying here again.

Had i even stayed there i could have given an accurate rating.. but EXPEDIA didnt even send my reservation to the hotel. When i attempted to check in, the hotel hadnt received my reservation, then speaking to customer service didnt help at all. I ended up paying out of pocket and staying at a completely different hotel. Having to wait 7 to 10 business days for a refund. Seriously.. 7 to 10 days for money that expedia took immediately.. i do not recommend using Expedia for anything aside from lots of stress

It was great because we were at a previous hotel that wasn't and needed a better place.
It was also a great location close to a lot of stores and restaurants. We were so happy that the hotel offered dishes for the room since we stayed for a week.
The only thing I didn't like about the stay was getting woke up by the loud cleaning cart going by the rooms at 7 am in the morning. I had the bed next to the window so I could hear it.

A typical older motel. The pictures online show a hardwood type floor but our room had very old carpet in it. It felt kind of cold and damp and sticky. The two beds were pushed up against the opposite walls so that you couldn't get around them. There was very little space in between them in the middle. Maybe enough for two people to stand facing each other, but the back of their legs would be touching the beds. The bedding appeared fairly crisp and clean. We weren't bothered by any maids, but our room wasn't cleaned either after being gone from noon to midnight. Also they do not have breakfast other than a grab and go as they described. So you can go up and get a muffin and some orange juice but that's about it. They say they're pet friendly but when I walked in to check in, the girl behind the desk was quick to inform me that all their pet rooms were taken. It didn't appear that the motel was full by any means. It does have an unsupplied kitchenette and one tiny towel for the kitchen. Bathroom was extremely small , but we did have plenty of towels and washcloths. Other occupants were friendly and they appeared to live there. If anybody walks by your room talking or is in the parking lot talking,you will hear them. The girl that works behind the desk is very sweet and very helpful in pointing us to a good breakfast restaurant. As well there is a Starbucks within a few short steps of the motel. $222/night cuz of festival. Ridiculous! Nice ppl but not staying again.

I called to make sure my room would still available since I could not check in at 3pm. Guy said to come by MIDNIGHT. By 6pm. My hotel was cancelled and I even contacted virtual chat to make sure I’d still have a room. Leak in the ceiling bathroom so all stuff got wet and damaged for 3 days. Sheets didn’t get changed. Had the same dirty towels for 5 days; after I asked for them to be cleaned abe changed. And breakfast is a grab and go situation. Not worth it. But location was okay.

I was hesitant to book this place due to some of the poor reviews, but the price was too attractive not to so we took the gamble! We stayed here during our time in Kentucky while we went to the Bourbon and Beyond music festival and honeslty overall, it was great.
Pros: The lady at the front desk (red hair) was super freindly and informative.
The price was amazing, we stayed 5 nights.
The rooms were ICE cold, which was fantastic because we went during a heat wave.
The area felt safe, and overall, quiet.
The room qas a good size for just the two of us and came with a full size fridge and stove top.

Cons: The room upon arrival was not the cleanest... you could tell it was lightly cleaned but not a job well done. There was some dust around the tv area, a dirty Q-Tip under the bed, and there were strands of hair from a previous guest left in the shower.
This was all a quick fix, i always bring my own cleaning supplies when i travel to hotels for my own personal peace of mind, so i just cleaned it all myself anyways and was not a big deal. Just worth a mention.
The room itself after i cleaned it was great and overall i am happy we stayed here. I would stay here again forsure!

Ps: Alot of reviews mentioned bugs and i did not see any bugs whatsoever. The only issue really was the cleanliness. But like i said , a quick clean yourself and its honestly fine. Well worth the price and the stay! Not a huge deal at all.

Had I known that Extended Stay America had exterior corridors and doors to access the rooms I would not have booked my two day reservation through Expedia. It’s an unsafe choice for someone traveling alone. Next time I will look more closely at the photos of the property. I contacted Expedia to see if I could cancel the second day. Expedia contacted the Extended Stay manager and he/she denied my request to check out a day early, with Expedia’s approval!!!

The room’s large window was located on the wall facing the exterior corridor. That made it such that you wouldn’t want to open the draperies day or night especially on the ground floor where my room was. There were no sheer curtains to let light in and maintain some privacy during the day. This made for an extremely dark room even on a sunny day. In addition the lighting was insufficient with one lamp’s light bulb burned out. Front desk said it couldn’t be replaced until the next day, at which time I would be out of the room - no safe to put a few valuables, so I declined. Will never book at an Extended Stay American again despite the rate.

Our original hotel was over booked so the hotel tried to accommodate us with another extend stay hotel only 7 mins away from our Original location when we arrived we had to pick up the phone to speak with a representative of the hotel on the phone my husband and I where told that they were unable to accommodate us unless it was a multiple night stay after speaking with 2 hotels.com representatives and trying to find us a new hotel the representative had us go to another hotel extend a stay 20 mins away from our location after we have done told the agent we no longer wanted to try and stay or deal with any extend a stay he insist this hotel would work. When we arrived to that extend a stay we were told the same thing they could not accommodate us until 8am in the morning! After 3 hours later we where finally able to check in to a new hotel at 3am but we had to check out at 11am this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had and when speaking with the representatives at the hotel they where completely rude and disrespectful! I love to stay at extend a stay when I do choose a hotel! But this was absolutely horrible and they where going to leave my husband and I out with no where to stay in a place that was 7 hours away from home.

Issues with cleanliness and amenity items

No hairdryer in bathroom, no towel racks, no luggage rack, dirty stained carpet, some hairs in tub, refrigerator, and furniture drawers, very very low water pressure and barely any water flow from shower head (unable to wash hair).

Not horrible but not great

Was not happy with the water pressure in the shower; made it impossible to fully rinse off soap and the floor of the bathtub was super slippery. Also the towels provided left white lint all over me and in my hair. Ended up drying off with paper towels. But the bed was comfy and didn’t see any bugs so at least there’s that.
