Not in a good area. Receptionist didn't have change to get water from the vending machine yet a note in the room stated water was free. She never offered the free water option. Directly in the flight path of the airport. When we pulled up to the hotel I thought: \"OMG what did I book!\" Very deceiving online.

The staff would always try to accommodate our needs, but we are mostly grateful to two of the gentlemen working at the front desk, Obonio Guerra and the other one, unfortunately we did not quite catch his name, as they both always made us feel at home and very friendly. Staff during breakfast was also very nice. Upon our arrival to the hotel, Obonio was very welcoming and when asked for dinner suggestions, he gave us two, one of them being his best recommendation and we tried it. Needless to say that he did not nor the restaurant disappoint us at all. The food was great and prices were very reasonable. One day we had to leave before breakfast time and we asked if the hotel could provided with a small box to take out and we were so amazed and definitely delighted when found that this nice man (the one we could not catch his name), had prepared quite and literally big boxes that carried sandwiches, pastries, yogurt, fruits and juice for each one of us. So very thoughtful that it really warmed our hearts. We also like that small local restaurants were within walking distance, as well as a supermarket or small shops. The only thing that may not sit well with some who hate loud noises is that you can literally hear and see planes arriving in Lisbon all day long. However, this never bothered us and we were all able to sleep without any problem. We even had so much fun watching them passing by over the building. Overall, it was nice place to stay with your family.

Staff members are great, very helpful.
The place is clean, the noise from the airport nearby didn’t bother us at all. The Room is small and doesn’t have a mini fridge or a chair to sit but it is allays clean. I recommend and would stay there again if needed.

good:

1- convenient that it was close to the Benfica stadium
2- decor was nice

not so good:

1-i did not like the smell of the building
2- the mattresses were so hard I could not sleep
3- the planes flying over were super loud
4- the ac unit over the one bed would be too cold for the person below it and so the settings had to be lowered but the issue was that it was too hot for the other 2 people across the room
5- had to go up a few steps to the area where the elevator was and that was hard for me due to my back
6- elevator doors were awkward in the way they swing out into the hallway
7- bathroom was so tight

I would not stay here in the future.

Everything was great EXCEPT for the soundproofing. They give you ear plugs because the hotel is in a flight path. For someone who is a light sleeper, this is not your choice.

A noisy hotel, near the airport.

Very noisy. Planes fly just above the hotel before landing. Room was nice but no nice common area. Didn't have time for breakfast, so no comment about it.

The Icons - great staff

Close to airport and yes you do hear the air traffic. Close to the metro. Not near anything else.

The staff was extremely friendly and responsive. They have an accessible lift for the breakfast buffet which is great if you have a disability. The corners are a little tight in the hotel but manageable.

The room was really lovely, clean and very stylish. The staff were friendly and helpful. They advised about travelling around Lisbon. I enjoyed the breakfast in very cosy breakfast room. The only reason why I give less stars is the noise. There was constant banging of the doors, people talking very loudly, whistling and other furniture moving noise in the evening.

We didn't realize we would be so isolated at this hotel. When \"Lisbon Central\" was in the name of the property, I guess we expected it to be in a business district. However, the only spot in near proximity to eat had very limited hours and we were unable to eat there. The neighborhood looked very sketchy and there was no public transportation or anything to do nearby. The staff couldn't offer much help or advise. Not their fault - there just weren't any options without walking about a mile and we were with family that had mobility issues. The shower had caulking around the bottom that was brown and at least gave the appearance of being moldy or dirty. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The one nice thing was the included breakfast. It was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The price was right, but I still think we would look elsewhere for accommodations if we visited Lisbon again.

This place was probably beautiful when it opened, but it's currently in poor repair. Holes in the walls, some poorly patched and some open. The lamps by the bed don't work, the shower is mildewed and stinky, there was bathroom garbage from previous guest in th shower. Other guests were extremely loud and late, and the curtains didn't close fully - the lights across the street are very bright. The pillows are really uncomfortable - lumpy and hard. Lastly, my door came open in the middle of the night. Fun!

Multiple issues with this property that should be a warning:
1) airplanes fly right over and it loud, do not expect to sleep well
2) walls are very thin and housekeepers slam doors so even if you are just in your room, you get woken up by others
3) rooms are dirty. Floors have marks on them, rooms need paint, showers have mould on the silicone areas
4) the hotel smells terrible. I don’t know what it is but it’s a very bad odour and the washrooms in the room are small and have no vent
5) staff is robotic, not friendly, not looking to go above and beyond
6) hotel requires you go up a bridge or cross train tracks to get to nearest metro station so not accessible for all walks of life

Overall this is more of a 2 star hotel after staying in it 3 nights. Would not return.

The breakfast was great. Fresh baked goods every morning. Also omlets, mashrooms, bacon, cheese, ham, fresh squeezed orange juice, or pear juice, coffee and cereals. The hotel is 7 min walking distance to the train, and 10 min from a gorgeous park.

Tiny bedroom. The surrounding area was very residential and under the flight path to Lisbon airport.
On the positive side the breakfast was good- nice quality pastries etc. the metro was very convenient and the museum https://gulbenkian.pt/museu/en/ nearby was amazing. Plus El Corte Ingles about a 15 min walk away

El lugar, aunque no está céntrico, está muy limpio. Cerca hay un restaurante, Mentiras y otro tipo tasca llamado el Apeadeiro (no me acuerdo el resto) que lamenté descubrirlo el último día. El desayuno del hotel es abundante y el área muy limpia. Es un lugar pequeño, pero acogedor.

Excellent little hotel. Clean room, clean bathroom beds comfortable. Wifi worked well. Excellent breakfast. Safe and quiet location. Bus stop right outside the hotel 10 mins walk to metro. Staff polite we had no problems at all would come back anytime. Be aware of the planes landing above your head but we loved it and you get use to it. Pleasantly surprised with Portugal 😊 safe and clean everywhere. Thank you

조식이 매우 훌륭합니다. 조식만으로도 숙박할 만한 가치가 있습니다. 지하철역과의 거리도 도보로 5분정도밖에 안걸리고 직원들 모두 친절해서 다시 묵고싶을 정도에요. 버스터미날도 도보로 이용가능한 거리라서 스페인으로 이동할 때도 좋았습니다.(다만 10분~15분정도 소요되어 살짝 멀어요)

Hôtel situé le long de deux routes à trois bandes, du train et dans un couloir aérien (avions toutes les 5 minutes). Impossible de dormir vu insonorisation nulle.
Un cafard dans la douche.
Pas de sèche cheveux.
Panne en salle de déjeuner le dernier jour donc des boxes.
Personnel très sympathique.
