The hotel is situated on Klong Nin's gorgeous white sand beach, 12 km from the nearby pier at Saladan village. Krabi Beach (39 km), Koh Rok (30 km) and 4 Islands (45 km) are also in the surrounding area.
This club resort has everything one needs to achieve the peace of mind they deserve. The resort is very secluded yet has a homey atmosphere that will ensure guests' full relaxation.
Not one of the resort's bungalows is more that a minute's walk to the beach, set in a private, magnificent, landscaped area that will make guests feel at home. The hotel was renovated in 2008 and offers a range of facilities including a lobby, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, bar and restaurant.
Internet access is available and a laundry service is also on-hand. For a fee, guests arriving by car may park in the hotel's car park or garage.
Bicycle hire is also offered at the resort. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
Rooms are fitted with double beds and have satellite/cable TV, Internet access and a minibar. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
Individually regulated air conditioning is standard and each room has a terrace. The resort has two outdoor swimming pools, one for children and one for adults (for an additional fee).
There is a sun terrace and beach volleyball available. Guest may also pamper themselves with a massage treatment.
There are parasols on the sandy beach. The resort's beach restaurant is set right on the beach and is the place where guests can enjoy fabulous Thai, Chinese and Western food in a stunning setting overlooking the beach and sea.
The open-air zone has more romantic dining under Ko Lanta's famous sunset atmosphere. Turn left at Krabi Airport and then follow the road all the way to the 3rd big intersection (Huay nam kaw).
Turn right towards Pire (twice) and then turn left after about 16 kilometres. The resort is on the right-hand side.
When you stay at Lanta Il Mare Beach Resort in Ko Lanta, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Klong Nin Beach and Long Beach. This spa resort is 6.2 mi (10 km) from Klong Dao Beach and 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from Khlong Toab Beach.

The room was excellent great location, beach access and the cleaning staff were excellent.
Breakfast is limited but definitely adequate. The location on the beach to other restaurants was great. Food at the resort was very resonably priced and quality was excellent. The whole team at this resort is great, we enjoyed our stay very much.

This hotel was superb. It's not 5 stars but it was so well maintained and met our every need at a very affordable price. The staff were wonderful and the simple breakfast excellent .Upgraded to a sea view room, worth the extra money. Perfect 6 days

nice hotel very close to the beach. Main 'town' with beach bars & restaurants about 15mins walk but some restaurants other way less than 5 mins. Good size rooms, bathroom a bit dated & shower didnt drain quick enough/floor not slanted enough so floor got flooded. Great breakfast included and very friendly & helpfull staff. Recommended

We had a bungalow facing the water. There is a pathway between the hotel and the beach, but the view is still nice. There are shops and restaurants on the beach a few minutes walk away. We rented a scooter at the hotel in good condition. And travelled around the island. Fun times. I like this location in comparison to the south or north of the island. I found Salam Dan not to be in the same standard. Recommend staying in this area.

The location is very walkable to many delicious restaurants and a beautiful beach. It was wonderful to have a pool onsite which isn’t the case with some other hotels in the area. We enjoyed many sunset cocktails and meals here with new friends! Stay here!!

I spent a solo vacation for 4 nights at Lanta Il Mare. This hotel is right on the beach, at the end of a strip of hotels off of Klong Nin Beach.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay. What made it quite nice was the service. Hotel pickup and dropoff from Krabi airport was quite easy, and the receptionists are warm and friendly and speak good English. The restaurant food is good, and the staff are accommodating; for breakfast, they normally cook American-style breakfasts, but I asked for a Thai breakfast, and they fulfilled my requests. Plus, if you walk 15 minutes, there are plenty of seaside restaurants and other hotels where you can find food.
The hotel itself is clean and nice, although it is worth paying extra for the sea view; if you don't your view may very well be a wall. The pool seemed fine as well, but I am more of a beach person, and it was clean and nice.
Overall, a Lanta Il Mare is a great choice for a relaxing holiday!

The location was great, the room was comfortable but the cleaning of the rooms was not up to the standard required also the pool toilets were not clean, l think without the pool this should be a two star hotel, shame really because it is in a great location, with a bit of upgrading regarding towels and sheets this could be a great resort.

Great food, nice clean bungalows, and the staff were really helpful. One of the few places that made you feel welcome immediately.
A quiet place for relaxing, early evenings and sitting on the verandas.
Only slight downside is that the beach and sea is better further along Klong Nin for swimming (i.e. no rocks) but this isnt the hotels fault.

Rekommenderas starkt till småbarnsfamiljer. Lättillgängligt överallt med barnvagn (dock trappor för att nå själva rummets). Mängder med bra matställen riktigt nära! Vi hade oturen att ha rummet precis vid den mycket trafikerade vägen vilket förde med sig en hel del oljud fram till 23 på kvällarna.
Skönhetsfel så som ett defekt toalock och en duschslang som inte räckte riktigt så långt som vi är vana vid hemma. Personalen mycket vänlig, barnvänligt ställe.
Poolen mycket uppskattad.

Vi var så imponerade av personalen på Il Mare. Det är en familj som driver hotellet och nästan helt uteslutande kvinnor som jobbar där. Dom flesta har varit där sedan dom öppnade för 20 år sedan och det kan man förstå då stämningen i personalen är perfekt. Läget var bra med stranden precis nedanför och en skön pool i anslutning till restaurang och reception. Tre minuter promenad från 7-11.
Vi bokade alla utflykter, moped yra och vidare resa via hotellet, enkelt och pålitligt. Dom körde också taxi stälv när man ville testa en annan strand. Slippa behöva trixa med olika tuk tuk och taxi i olika skick var bra.

Otrolig service. Väldigt bra engelsktalande personal som verkligen är hjälpsamma. Sköna sängar, rymliga rum. Bra dusch. Perfekt poolområde att svalka sig i efter en dag på stranden. Bra frukost. Ligger nära stranden. Rekommenderas verkligen efter att ha testat 4 olika hotell på Lanta i samma prisklass.

Very good rooms (depending in which part you had the room) we stayed in the D-section which was very good but for example the AB section was a bit more old and not as good but I also got the info that they have started renovation so maybe the older ones are getting a refresh soon aswell. Otherwise very very good and close to the beach

J'ai adoré la disponibilité du personnel, ils sont vraiment très sympa, la réceptionniste est adorable, les deux serveuses sont rigolotes et vraiment agréables ainsi que le staff du cleaning, on m'a chouchouté, ils étaient tous attentifs au moindre besoin j' ai adoré. Un petit bémol la plave était en train d'être refaite enfin l'accès à la plage avec des pelleteuses et camion mais bon c'est pas très grave car tout le monde va sur la plage à côté et 10 min à pied, et c'était en train de se terminer, donc ce sera fini quand vous y séjournerez, de plus ils faisaient un truc joli donc à mon avis ça va bien rendre...

Management feilet litt ifm sjenerende feststøy fra stranda rett på utsiden. De var ikke å få tak i, samt de mente dagen etter st det som skjedde på utsiden av tomta ikke var deres ansvar. Vel, når det holder flere gjester våken om natta gjør det jo det.

Отель небольшой, расположен на береговой линии пляжа Klong Nin (в северной, самой спокойной, его части). Очень живописная территория. Домики расположены близко друг к другу, но благодаря тропической растительности, гости чувствуют себя достаточно уединенно.
Номер не новый, но все необходимое в нем есть. Отлично работал кондиционер, wi-fi замечательный и в номере, и на территории всего отеля, есть небольшой холодильник, фен. В номере нет сейфа. Кровати очень удобные. Уборка - каждый день на «отлично». Немного удивили серые полотенца и плохая звукоизоляция номеров.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit einem lecker Fruchtsaft empfangen. Gebucht hatten wir einen schönen beachfront Bungalow und da es außerhalb der Saison war, die ganze Hotelanlage für uns alleine. Obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren, erhielten wir einen perfekten Service und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Hotel war einfach ausgestattet aber ausreichend. Der Strand war sehr ruhig, wir waren aber Ende März dort also nicht in der Hauptsaison. Frühstück war lecker. Man konnte zwischen 4 Varianten wählen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber der Bettbezug und Handtücher sollten für ein Hotel schneller entsorgt werden. Wir hatten oft Flecken auf Handtüchern und Bettbezug. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Mosche in der Nähe war nur am Freitag zum Ganztagsgebet störend.
