Would not stay here again. Our room was old outdated, smelt musty, mould in the bathroom. Our bed sheets were stained.
We were told our room was ready but if we wanted to check in early had to pay a fee? I can see if they had to go out if their way to clean our room but they didnt.
Carpets are all stained.
There is a decent pool area with a hottub and water slide good for kids but we weren't even allowed to have water bottles to drink water in pool area. They have a water cooler with small disposable cup but water was gross and warm.

Location was convenient numerous amenities around.

Front Desk are not aware about our request, at least INFORM your guest if the request is not guaranted. Its not that hard!
Secondly, microwave, coffee brewer and TV short circuit while we stay there, its dissapointing.

Pool great for lil ones and adults. Really fun for birthday parties I’d imagine. The carts used to push your suitcases to your rooms were probably older than me (28) and very heavy. Restaurant good. Clean and they answered the operating number 2nd ring. Would stay again

The over all stay was alright. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathtub drain, and the bathroom fan didnt work so we had to keep our hallway door open and keep the plug closed in the drain. The smoke detector in our room would beep every few minutes. We assumed the battery was dead, so we called staff to replace it. They came and removed it and told us it wasnt battery operated so they had to completely remove it from our room.
The staff were helpful and pleasant, the hotel itself was a lot cleaner than it used to be, and the new renovations have really helped the appearance in the rooms and hallways.

Never actually got to check in. Girl at front desk asked for $100 damage deposit on credit card. I didn't have one
Offered to give 100 either in cash or on debit and was refused.
Will never consider booking there again. Lots of other options 7's.

Pool is so dated- there were kids literally jumping on the waterslide and these were bigger kids. Everytime they jumped the waterslide shook. No staff watching and no parents caring at all.

Fast forward to 11pm and further- teens running down the hall knocking on doors and screaming. We called front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything about it.

The room was dirty, stains on the bath tub, stains on the headboard, sheets also had holes in them.

Had kids banging on both of our doors plus the broken pool dool that slams super loud everytime someone comes in and out. Called front desk about moving rooms, couldnt, okay but lady said shed deal with the kids...kids were not dealt with.

WORST possible location, crackheads and drunks roaming the parking lot all night, having fights in the lot and screaming, lots of suspicious people hanging around there.

Please dont be fooled by their \"renovated rooms\" this is a run down hotel that had its prime in 2001, housekeeping needs to do a better job, the hotel needs to fix the pool door. I dont find it fair at all i had to pay the amount i did for that stay to be harassed the whole time. Please DO NOT stay here.

The pool is absolutely amazing. A few degrees cooler than the hot tub. The water slide is one of the best around. Perfect for parents to go hang out in while the kids are sliding. Loved it.

Lovely large room off the pool. Kids thought that was the coolest. Comfortable beds. Had a great sleep. Room and bathroom were clean. Attendants only missed cleaning out the fridge from the guests before. Only thing that we would've liked, to be able to login into the Netflix. TV had the app but was unavailable for use.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared.

I recently stayed at this hotel and booked five rooms to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, with family traveling from Saskatoon. I spent several hundred dollars expecting a positive and welcoming experience. Before setting up, I confirmed with a staff member that having food on the balcony was allowed, and I proceeded based on that understanding.

Unfortunately, a manager named Micha approached us and told us to remove everything immediately. While I fully respect hotel policies and complied right away, the situation was handled in a very confrontational and unprofessional manner. I calmly explained that I had been told it was permitted, but the tone remained unnecessarily harsh.

We were also told that the general manager was “furious” and that photos had been taken of our setup. There was even mention of potentially shutting down the pool because of our group, which was very embarrassing in front of my family and guests.

What concerned me most was that a photo was taken of our setup that included my daughter’s birthday cake with her name clearly visible. This was a private family celebration, and it felt intrusive. We also observed these photos being shared with other staff members, which raised further concerns about privacy and professionalism.

Overall, this experience took away from what was meant to be a special day. I understand that policies must be enforced, but how situations are hand

The hot tub was cery merky. In their defense, the hotel was extremely packed with families. I think the staff were trying hard, but it was impossible to sleep with all the screaming and running in the halls. Great place to stay with families but maybe not the place to stay if you expect quiet and to sleep. The train also blasts through all night right next to your window…

This hotel is an older hotel, but you can tell they are trying to fix it up. There are even staff going around the parking lot cleaning up garbage. The rooms are nice and clean. You can tell that cleaning is important to them and I think that it is incredible as you do not find it at many hotels nowadays.
Now, I want to explain the downsides to this hotel as it leads to a lot of frustration.
The pool is open very limited hours and you are not allowed to even take a bottle of water out on the deck. If you have a poolside room they lock the door from the outside so you can’t even go sit in the pool area after hours. This hotel would have been a 5 star easily, if it wouldn’t have been for the ridiculous pool schedule and the strict rules. The pool is open two hours in the morning, then again for 5 hours in the evening and closes at 9 pm even if the pool is packed. They just kick everyone out. I just find it so ridiculous because a lot of people are booking because of the pool. If the pool has to be closed in the afternoon, then why not have it stay open later in the evening so the guests can enjoy the pool. Seems like such a waste.
When you do finally get to swim the pool water is so nice and warm! Everything is great about this hotel except for the pool hours. My daughter was very frustrated. Too bad because it is a nice hotel and the prices are very reasonable. We did stay here two years ago and had the same frustration. We came back to see if it’s changed and it hasn’t

Homeless man in entrace. Staff didnt care. Front waiting area smells like cigarrettes. Elevator stinks and super dirty. Rooms toilet dont flush. Bathtub dont drain. Shower not warm but not hot. Cleaning lady rude. Sad the place could be so much better with the proper management. Specially as families come here for the pool but the front end smells like cigarrettes.

The only good thing was the employee who checked me in and the one who checked me out, the room was a dump, the fan didn’t work properly. I tried reaching out to Expedia to rectify this as the management has been replying the same response to other complaints over the years “we will investigate” -seem like they haven’t gotten around to their investigations. property was dirty. We saw cockroaches in our room the next morning, their was bodily fluids on the stairs, people doing their m*th in the front and homeless people just casually dropping into the lobby like it was a safe house. I had no idea that north central was a bad area which should really be disclosed before booking, that you are in a dangerous neighbourhood.

Pool great other then too much chlorine in it and caused my grand daughter to have a bad rash.
Rooms had mice and could hear them in the walls and roof and eating out of the bag on the bed side table. Moved our rooms down the hall and same thing can hear them in the walls. Some lady yelled at my son for not checking out at 11 when his daughter (my granddaughter) was sleeping again cause she didn’t sleep all night from her reaction to the pool chlorine.

I booked queen beds and think I only got doubles. The room had a weird smell and th floor was very dirty and sticky so I cleaned myself z.

Renovated rooms facing the pool are unbearably hot and humid, especially at nite (it was over 30 degrees Celsius at nite) AC units in the rooms are simply fans blowing hot air.
My son enjoyed the pool and the coffee machine in the lobby was nice.

I noticed garbage behind the bed but the room was clean. Staff was very helpful when I checked in. When I got to my room and opened the door there was a strong odor of pot that came into the hallway. I phoned front, was offered a room but opted to stay. The smell did go away by morning but around 830 the next night the smell returned. Since I share a bathroom vent, I could tell it was the guest next to me. I phoned the front desk, a wirker smelt it as soon as the door opened. I did change rooms that night. Cleanliness was not up to par. Dirty stained rugs all throughout the rooms and hallways. The third floor and room smelled like marijuana. Two lamp light bulbs were burnt out. And the constant humming from like a light or ice machine kept me up most of the night. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Walking to the room, the hallway floors were filthy, pass by workers and no one greets you. Waterslides have been painted, outside and inside. Paint is chipping off. Nothing sanded down so your back is on the slide you feel everything and are scratched up. Room was alright. I’ve stayed at this hotel a lot, consistently has gotten worse. This will be our last stay unfortunately.

Everything in regards to the hotel itself was fantastic. The housekeepers were lovely, the female front desk staff were also lovely. I cannot say the same about the male staff member who checked us in, he wasn’t outrageously rude or anything, but definitely shouldn’t be the forefront of welcoming guests into a business. The surrounding area has a lot of sad scenes going on and unfortunately the sad scene does enter the building and participate in fentanyl in the stairwells and left their used condoms behind, but that is not relevant to the hotel itself. Once the front desk was notified of the situation they quickly had it cleaned up. The king size bed we have was probably the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in. The pool area was great as usual, although they definitely should get another sauna or steam room- I definitely recommend a travel to the seven Oaks!
