Friendly staff and good food. The pool room could use a little fresh paint here and there, but the hot tub was nice and hot and the waterslide was fun: try going head first like Superman!

It was the cheapest hotel to book on Expedia and no warning of renovations going on and also no warning of area the property was located as there are lots of homeless people in the parking lot and front entrance. I checked out two days early. Thanks Expedia for a bad experience…

The only good thing was the employee who checked me in and the one who checked me out, the room was a dump, the fan didn’t work properly. I tried reaching out to Expedia to rectify this as the management has been replying the same response to other complaints over the years “we will investigate” -seem like they haven’t gotten around to their investigations. property was dirty. We saw cockroaches in our room the next morning, their was bodily fluids on the stairs, people doing their m*th in the front and homeless people just casually dropping into the lobby like it was a safe house. I had no idea that north central was a bad area which should really be disclosed before booking, that you are in a dangerous neighbourhood.

Pool great other then too much chlorine in it and caused my grand daughter to have a bad rash.
Rooms had mice and could hear them in the walls and roof and eating out of the bag on the bed side table. Moved our rooms down the hall and same thing can hear them in the walls. Some lady yelled at my son for not checking out at 11 when his daughter (my granddaughter) was sleeping again cause she didn’t sleep all night from her reaction to the pool chlorine.

I booked queen beds and think I only got doubles. The room had a weird smell and th floor was very dirty and sticky so I cleaned myself z.

The front desk staff was amazing with my 2 bookings and did what they could so I didn’t have to switch rooms. But when pay more for pool side should have got money back.

the staff was good but the room was horrible it was so hot like oven. Understandable that the weather outside is freaking cold and the aircon is frozen, but the receptionist should advice the guest a head of time. And assist them if we need a fan or something.

Renovated rooms facing the pool are unbearably hot and humid, especially at nite (it was over 30 degrees Celsius at nite) AC units in the rooms are simply fans blowing hot air.
My son enjoyed the pool and the coffee machine in the lobby was nice.

I noticed garbage behind the bed but the room was clean. Staff was very helpful when I checked in. When I got to my room and opened the door there was a strong odor of pot that came into the hallway. I phoned front, was offered a room but opted to stay. The smell did go away by morning but around 830 the next night the smell returned. Since I share a bathroom vent, I could tell it was the guest next to me. I phoned the front desk, a wirker smelt it as soon as the door opened. I did change rooms that night. Cleanliness was not up to par. Dirty stained rugs all throughout the rooms and hallways. The third floor and room smelled like marijuana. Two lamp light bulbs were burnt out. And the constant humming from like a light or ice machine kept me up most of the night. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Walking to the room, the hallway floors were filthy, pass by workers and no one greets you. Waterslides have been painted, outside and inside. Paint is chipping off. Nothing sanded down so your back is on the slide you feel everything and are scratched up. Room was alright. I’ve stayed at this hotel a lot, consistently has gotten worse. This will be our last stay unfortunately.

Everything in regards to the hotel itself was fantastic. The housekeepers were lovely, the female front desk staff were also lovely. I cannot say the same about the male staff member who checked us in, he wasn’t outrageously rude or anything, but definitely shouldn’t be the forefront of welcoming guests into a business. The surrounding area has a lot of sad scenes going on and unfortunately the sad scene does enter the building and participate in fentanyl in the stairwells and left their used condoms behind, but that is not relevant to the hotel itself. Once the front desk was notified of the situation they quickly had it cleaned up. The king size bed we have was probably the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in. The pool area was great as usual, although they definitely should get another sauna or steam room- I definitely recommend a travel to the seven Oaks!

When first walked in the room smelled like urine, the room was awfully hot although there was a thermostat it didn’t change the temperature. The microwave wasn’t working , but the staff was very helpful in trying to get it to work. Staff was all around very helpful and nice and even gave us a discount for all the troubles.

Staff was absolutely wonderful.
Unfortunately at about 3am a screaming match started in the hallway outside our rooms. It was serious enough that the police were called. Unsettling for the kids and it went on for quite some time.
Rooms are really nice. Hallways were pretty run down with some old 70’s looking carpet.
Pool was wonderful and the kids had a blast in it and the waterslide.

Parking was good. The hotel part was under construction so during the day it got quite noisy. But thats to be expected. The pool area was really cool with the huge lighthouse and palm trees that were decorated with lights.
We went to eat breakfast in the am and the food was phenomenal! But our server was even better. Super polite, and very fast!

The room had what looked like dried blood on the curtains. Our pool facing room had a door that locked us out every time we used the pool. The neighborhood was scary. The AC had been turned off and boiler on so the room was blistering hot. Had to Request a fan after 3 days of no sleep. The floors in the hotel room were VERY dirty. Wear your shoes. Kids literally scream from pool open to pool close. So if you choose a pool facing room....be ready. The hotel is under construction with hallways that connect parts of the building dug up. Ive lost hotel picking privileges because of this misfire.

Staff were very nice. We had a smaller refreshed room but it’s just an older property, making it hard to improve layout. Lots of interesting folks hanging around all hours of day and night. That being said, we had no issues inside or with our vehicle.
