The hotel is within few minutes walk to train station. If you are driving, there's a secured underground car park. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast ladies are so cheerful which freshen our start of the day. Our balcony can see the snowcapped mountain! We were very happy at our stay.

Best place we stayed in Switzerland

Darling hotel with great breakfast. Our room did not look like the pictures but was very comfortable with a great front porch. This is not a luxery stay but more luke a fancy cabin. I appreciated they had a fan, kettle, power strip, great wifi, great views and convenient location. We felt very safe. We did hear the upstairs people walking around so walls are thin, but it’s a great stay for those traveling to Interlaken, and Jungfrau region.

Convenient location and nice breakfast!

It is conveniently located less than 5 minutes walking distance to the Wilderswil train station. The daily breakfast was good. I stayed in a single occupant room. It is small, but quite comfortable and clean. I would stay here again when I visit next time.

The staff were lovely — everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. The room had a kettle with tea and coffee, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, there’s no air conditioning, and we happened to visit during a heatwave, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. I imagine more European hotels will need to adapt as temperatures continue to rise.

The restaurant served delicious food, but it was quite full of flies — they were landing on the food, which was concerning. While I understand the hotel is surrounded by fields and livestock, it’s just something I’m not used to and found a bit off-putting.

Hotel room was comfortable for the 3 of us with a fantastic view of the Jungfrau peaks from our hotel room.

The hotel breakfast was reasonably priced and had a good selection of foods available.

Staff were very helpful answering all my questions. The late checkin was a bit frustrating as instructions weren't super clear but one of the restaurant staff who do double duty came over to assist and helped get everything sorted.

The location is much more relaxed than Lauterbrunnen and easy to access from both the highway and local transit.

Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Interlaken area as a home base with good connections local attractions and hiking in the area.

This is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at—and it’s not because of fancy amenities. It’s about the view, the value, and the incredible service.

From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The lady at the front desk was warm and personal—when I casually mentioned I had a cold, she offered me a cup of tea without hesitation. Such a thoughtful gesture! The woman managing the breakfast area was equally amazing. She greeted us every morning with a big smile, chatted with us, and made sure everything was perfect. Her energy truly brightened our days.

And the view—just wow. You wake up facing Jungfrau directly. It’s absolutely breathtaking. The area is peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short walk to the bus or train station if you’re heading to Interlaken or beyond.

Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a hidden gem that made our trip so memorable.

Not as pictured. I expected a but more from the rooms. Property is older, but staff was friendly and very accomodating, kind and helpful. Breakfast was a traditional swiss meat, cheeses, fresh breads, but they had hot eggs and bacon each morning and help yourself to coffees.teas. Location was perfect. Close to all the Swiss Alp towns and in the heart of Interlaken. Centrally located for everything. Upon check in you will get access to local bus and train for free as a hotel guest if you donthave a car. Easy driving to and from.

Perfect location for exploring the region

Wonderful stay at a super friendly hotel. Perfectly located in Wilderswil outside of the main area of Interlaken. Far enough out to be peaceful with lovely views but handy enough as just a short bus or train ride from Interlaken centre. This hotel is just a couple of mins walk from the station and bus stop. I was concerned about location when booking but it was absolutely perfect! The staff here are excellent. Very helpful and friendly. The food is also lovely. I had the best veggie burger I’ve ever had here, thankyou chef! Would be very happy to return here when next in Switzerland! Thanks for a wonderful stay

I have mixed feelings about my 4 day stay during the end of September. I was in a single room which was a reasonable size for a single with a nice view. Breakfast was very good. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel restaurant had very good food (saw many locals eating there) and was reasonably was priced. Only a few minutes walk to the train station from which you can get anywhere in the Jungfrau region (I prefer Wilderswil to Interlaken as a gateway to mountain hiking and sightseeing). My problem was the bathroom smelled like a public urinal that had not been cleaned for days. I arrived late (after housekeeping left) and my own attempts to clean were unsuccessful at elliminating the stench. I mentioned this to the front desk again the following morning and recommended a housekeeping supervisor check the room (it was that bad). I fully expected the problem to be resolved when I returned, but the oder was only minimally improved (if any). I have traveled extensively - including dozens of trips to Europe and have never encountered a bathroom odor problem like this. I assume it was a problem related to the toilet or vinyl flooring in the bathroom (both looked very old). I was told the hotel was fully booked, so I just put up with the unpleasant oder for my entire stay and didn't bother to report again (fortunately, I spent very little time in the room). This problem is hopefully isolated to room #205 and hopefully management has subsequently corrected it.

Great central location for a lot of exploring near by: harder Kulm, interlaken, grindelwald, lauterbrunnen. 5 minute walk to the bus/train station. Grocery store near by and places to eat or have a drink as well. Familysuite was spacious and great. King bed in bedroom and a comfortable Murphy bed in the living area. Breakfast was included and enjoyable. The lady working breakfast was very sweet and kind.

The main entrance door of the property got locked at 10PM, nobody is there to open the door, after much efforts we were able to enter through restaurant and next day just beacuse of Karim Ajroud we were able to enter. We really enjoyed our stay here. We reserved the family suite which was perfect for a family of three. They had a Murphy bed in the living room with an actual mattress which was way more comfortable than a pullout couch. The room was clean, well-equipped and had a beautiful view. Very courteous staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The property is only a 3 minute walk from the station which made it super convenient to get to Interlaken, Grindlewald and Jungfrau. Great connectivity!

This was one of the hopeless properties I have ever stayed. Room conditions not great. Bathroom was small. Rooms were small. Food was not great during breakfast and hence did not feel eating dinner as well. It was smelly dinning area. Overall not a value for money. I would not recommend anyone this hotel as it’s sheer waste of money. Pluses include near to the Wilderswil train station and good view from balcony. But overall not worth for staying. There are many good properties around this. So explore them before booking. Disappointing.

This property is a hidden gem. So conveniently located when visiting Interlaken and surrounding cities, and all the attractions nearby.
It’s only a 15 minute drive to Interlaken. It offers free parking, and our breakfast was included.
The room was huge and the view from the balcony was fantastic!!!

Location: 5/5 perfect location, close to Train station, quite, beautiful view of the mountains, and supermarket. The hotel is surrounded by a field and mountain and little house. You will get a more authentic Switzerland experience here as opposed to Interlaken. A convenient location if you plan to travel to Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.

Service: 5/5 the hotel staff here is wonderful, always smiling and very helpful. We met all 3 of the front desk staff and all were lovely and wonderful people.

Room: 5/5 have the most beautiful view of the mountains, truly was breathtaking. Room is always clean, bed was very comfortable. Love it here.

Overall: 5/5 highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visit Switzerland. This hotel was the best hotel we stayed at during our Switzerland trip. Wish we book more days here. And they have free bike rental, free umbrella, free bus pass for Interlaken and a restaurant located on the ground floor. Bonus they also have a pack of little sheep that comes to eat the grass beside the hotel everyday.

Jungfrau hotel is a short distance from Interlaken and the key parts of Jungfrau region but benefits from a quieter setting. Our checkin experience was straightforward, the room clean and the view from the room and hotel was excellent. There is free parking below, which makes everything easy. Breakfast is served daily at the restaurant, food was good but they’re all the same every single day, no variation at all.
The room was tiny for the price compared to other hotels I’ve been to, the room was clean though but old. A few times, I could smell smoke, don’t know where it’s coming from.

I just traveled thru Switzerland with a high school buddy and his wife. They left the booking of hotels up to me and I booked us at the Jungfrau Hotel in Wilderswil.
My intent was to take them to the Lauterbrunnen area, Schilthorn, Birg, Wengen & Murren. We were only there for 2 nights but it turned out to be great. They loved the hotel and I did as well. Easy walk from the train station. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Being from the states I like my bacon and eggs. This is my new hotel when in the Lauterbrunnen area.

Beautiful property with \"old world\" charm. If you want the \"native \" feel this is the place! All employees, from front desk to the bar/restaurant, were very friendly and extremely well-trained. Good breakfast buffet. Bus and train station nearby will get you to Interlaken within five minutes or so.
Dining options a bit limited in the area (obviously not the hotel's fault). Only complaint was a plumbing issue that caused a leak on the bathroom floor whenever the shower was used. I didn't bother to report the issue since it really wasn't a big deal to me.

This is a small motel on a tight hidden street. We had a horrible experience with the front desk personnel who was highly unprofessional and threatening to make us no show and call the cops as we were getting late to check in. She accelerated the situation to entirely different level which left us with horrible traumatic experience especially traveling with kids in a foreign country. She was highly unprofessional with very poor behavior. There is no overnight person at night at front desk so be mindful about your check in time. We reached out to Expedia to change the hotel but they couldn’t get any response from the hotel even until now. Customer service is very poor and front desk people feel entitled to treat customers poorly. We called Expedia multiple times to report this incident about safety issues at this hotel without paying any heed about this sensitive situation. I have requested again to the Expedia supervisor to file incident report so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. No one deserves such poor behavior.

The \"Alpine Inn\" wing was a separate property 0.5 km from main hotel. But it was great. \"Motel\" style with close, easy parking. Walking distance to station and a gteat Italian restaurant across the road. Room was spacious & comfortable. Beds good but needed 2nd pillow. Bathroom good but detachable shower head too low. But, overall we loved our 3 day stay here.

Absolutely thrilled with our stay except for the size of the shower. It was incredibly small! Otherwise, I have no faults! The staff made our late check in a breeze, the restaurant staff helped us with our daily itineraries every morning, and housekeeping showed excellent attention to detail in our rooms. The location was amazing! Perfect views of both the Jungfraujoch and Harder Kulm and less than a 5 minute walk to Wilderswil station. If we’re lucky enough to find ourselves back in the Interlaken area in the future, we’ll definitely be staying here again!

We really loved staying at Hotel Jungfrau. I’d describe this as an efficient hotel. The rooms are a bit tight but if you’re like us and don’t plan on spending much time in there anyway, you probably won’t even notice.

Beds were comfy, staff was nice and welcoming, rooms were clean, and the location is awesome. Not to mention that on a clear day, you can actually see the Jungfraujoch observatory from your balcony.

If this is your first time traveling to the Berner Oberland, this hotel offers an excellent home base. Wilderswil is quiet and free of huge tour groups, the hotel is a 2 min walk from the train station and a couple different grocery stores, and you can be in either Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen within a 10 min train ride.

Great Location!

Everything was good, no issues. So close to the train which will literally take you anywhere. Little grocery store around the corner, buy food and drinks there instead of on the mountains. You probably don't need a car. Just a heads up, there is an elevator in the hotel, but the parking garage is underground and there is no elevator from there. So instead of dragging your luggage upstairs, bring it in the hotel before you park.

The response to my email’s question was quickly. I appreciate that. However the hotel is too far away from bus stops, specifically if you have luggage needed to carry. Facility is motel level( the shower head is only 1.2 meters high). The staff didn’t make you feel warm and welcome.

Hotel room got change to their sister hotel Alpine inn that they claimed to be an 'upgrade' due to additional unblocked balcony view. However, the sister hotel was clearly a lot further than the original hotel and it's a 2 stars hotel instead of the 3 stars that I originally booked ! The exterior of the changed hotel is also clearly a motel instead of a hotel. Theres no receptionist or what so ever. Feel that the staff is not very honest when changing the hotel as well as they insisted it is a upgrade which to me is clearly not. Won't recommend to stay there

We had a wonderful stay here. My husband and I stayed for two nights and found the guest services—especially Evelin—to be really helpful and friendly. We had a lovely conversation with her and she took the time to make several calls to reserve a fantastic hang gliding experience for us. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant our first night there and again the staff was friendly and attentive. We decided to have dinner on our balcony the second night as we had a fantastic view of the Jungfrau massif. We sat in the balcony from 7pm enjoying the view and the lovely scenery of the clouds rolling through the mountains.

This property offers nothing other than just a simple Mountain View. For the price it’s over ratted. Some staff are kind but some are just there for making money. No amenities in the hotel to justify $230 dollar room. It’s a cabin with a bed. Machine coffee and regular breakfast were mediocre.

The property is very close to the train station which is just 10 minutes by walking. The staff at the reception were friendly and well-trained. The room is very cosy with a big & nice balcony. The bed & bedding is soft and the toilet has a good bathtub. Only thing is the coffee shop which staff seem to be a bit less attentive to Asian and the food served are limited. If you typically not a fan of European food but Asian, this place may not be your choice.
