This was a poor experience. Bed was uncomfortable, property is dated and not cared for. Highway noise was noticeable. Front desk staff was not to be found at checkout. Breakfast was very limited and juice machine was not functioning.

Linens stained, perhaps soiled (mainly top covers). Place is showing some wear. Sheets a bit rough, but probably provide some exfoliation. Not much available for breakfast, but you are in luck if an oatmeal packet and an apple would do. Parking convenient. Not a place for lite sleepers, overlooks the highway and quite close. Mattress acceptable.

Also, if a sign is on the desk saying, “Assisting another guest, back in 10, call —- in an emergency”, call immediately. After a 15 minute wait, called and they were in a back room.

Would not stay here again, unless in a crunch.

The rooms smelled clean, they put us on the highway side of the building, very noisy most of the night with traffic. There was nobody available at the desk for checkout at 8 am, I left my keycard at the desk. The 1 staff person I dealt with was just there. Ok place to stay but that is all.

The room was ok. It had a slight smell but only when fan wasn’t on. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. My only ‘complaint’ would be that there was no clock, nor guide list/channel list for the TV. Will rent again, if needed.

So I mistakenly set the date online of 7th to 8th thinking it was for the same day (6th-7th) Called the property to try and push up the original 7-8 date to 6th-7th since I needed the room that day since I was in town they said they couldn’t but I could purchase the room for that day and they’ll add it to my current already booked day tomorrow (7-8) I reluctantly did then they asked did I have pets. I told them yes, dogs. They then told me of a pet fee of$100(refundable) per and $25 (non refundable) per pet… (so I end up paying an extra $175 for a $80 room). For 1night. Bed was like it had been infested with bugs. Room didn’t even have the remote controller for the tv. Morning of the 7th comes and I think everything’s ok.NO. Try call and pound on the door wondering when I’m checking out. I’m thinking they’ve added to my original date booked online… nope. it’s 11:30 a.m… they then tell me i need to pay again for the pet fee ($170) otherwise I gotta check out by 12 otherwise I forfeit the $100 I paid the day before. So I rush to just get away from there… I’m STILL trying too get refunded for a day I was unable to use… (7th-8th)

It is a good hotel for the price. (You get what you pay for)
Negatives:
The breakfast is something that could definitely be improved: muffins taste just like cardboard, and there are no proteins offered. It is one I would consider more a motel than a hotel. Some staff could learn to be better at their customer service skills.
Positives:
Nice rooms, neat, decently clean, and plenty of food places, and light shopping around. Close to highway for travelers. Plenty of parking. Staff are nice, not overbearing.
Would I stay again: Yes, because it is affordable, worth what you pay, convenient, and decent.

The room wasn’t very clean. The soap and shampoo were both empty. The bathroom exhaust fan made horrible noise and the light flickered. About every five minutes, the toilet would start running and squeals very loudly each time. The door guard clasp was broken.
I had to pay a $50 security deposit upon arrival and there was a list in the room of items and their values. Problem was, most of the items in the list weren’t even there. The ironing board was missing. The in room coffee pot was missing,. Etc.
This place is complete trash. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

The staff was helpful checking in. I got charged to check in early and I’ve never experienced that. They also acted like they couldn’t find my reservation at first. I had to pay a deposit, which was also a first. Usually they just hold your card info incase they need to use it for incidentals so hopefully it doesn’t take too long to credit back. Breakfast was slim pickings and their juice machine was down. Our friends stayed and got put in a smoking room for some reason and got told they’d be charged $10 to switch rooms, luckily they talked themselves out of that.
Lobby was closed at 11:30, so we couldn’t go use to ATM to get cash for their vending machine. Overall, for the price of the hotel it was a fine stay.

First I did the preregister, car, ID, credit card and then when I checked in they asked for all of it over again.
They ask for $50 deposit and in the room they have a plaque that lists the cost of anything you take or damage. But some of those things were missing from our room already.
The bathroom was dirty and had bugs in it.
The attendant just apologized for everything but didn’t offer to do anything about it.
There was really no food for breakfast and the coffee was undrinkable.
I would not recommend this motel unless you don’t have a choice.

This place was absolutely horrible. I wouldn't even give it a one star if possible. There was black mold growing in the shower as well as hair on the wall. The floors were so disgusting that your feet/socks would turn black. They advertised that breakfast was served untill 9am yet when I went at 8:30 they already had everything packed up. There were paint chips and indents in the wall. The ice machine was down which was a priority for me as I'm a breastfeeding mother and need access to ice at all times. The towels were so dingy and stained, at least I hope it was just stained. Housekeeping didn't even come in and clean which was the cherry on top of an already horrendous stay. The employees werent very nice either.

The property is well located to the downtown area. It is filled with classic old buildings with plaques outlining their
use when the town was more vibrant. There are several restaurants withing an easy walk of the hotel, as well as a Taco Bell (half a block), an Arby's (about a block) and a MacDonalds (about two blocks). The local restaurants include a barbeque pit; an italian/pizza joint; a sports bar; and a chinese restaurant. There is also a local bakery within about two blocks.

Area around the hotel showed lack of picking up....
Internet was terrible.... either would not connect or was super slow.....
Came in for breakfast.... no milk for cereal.... no hot water for oatmeal .... and no-one at the desk..... Staff shows a lack of commitment/concern....

I got charged $116.85 cleaning fee for having brought a blanket to the room that had my dog’s hair on it, even though there was never a single animal that once entered the room while I stayed there. The lady on the phone told me that the hair was all over the room when the housekeeper had inspected it. I didn’t dispute that there was dog hair in the room, but I thought the fee that the motel charges is supposed to be for having a pet in the room; however, The pet hair came in indirectly (it was on my blanket, not from bringing a dog). Also there was no soap in the room at all, and the shampoo/conditioner bottle in the shower barely had anything in it.

Staff was very rude and definitely don't have the customer at the top of their priorities list. Parking space is very limited so bigger vehicles and trailers aren't easy to fit in the spaces or in the available space. They informed me after check in that they were out of shampoo and soap until their truck came in which was the following week. And it said they have a pool but it is no longer there. Staff definitely needs training for customer service skills because they have none. Everything was clean tho.

The hotel was old and had nothing to offer but a place to sleep. I had forgotten a wine opener and the front desk offered me a can opener. So I asked for a screw driver, nope. So I asked for a plyers, nope. They knocked on my door later with a needle nose plyers but I had already walked the area and brought a wine opener. Next time I will pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

There was a storm that came through just before we checked in and part of the hotel was without power. I had 2 rooms reserved, and one had power and the other 1 didn't. When I went to the front desk to ask to get 2 rooms with power. I was given some attitude, saying he didn't know which ones were which so I asked him to go check and he begrudgingly did. My new room had no ac and it was almost a 100° outside, with 80% humidity. I finally decided to just share the room that my ex-husband got so I ended up sleeping several feet away from my ex-husband because my room was unusable due to the heat. We were not offered any way to rectify the situation. And when we asked if we could cancel one room, we were told no. The room we did share was dirty. I have pictures of a dirty floss pick on the floor the sink was dirty. The bathroom only had one hinge on the door so the door didn't work properly and the light in there was out. To add to the irritation, the pool was not working, which is the one amenity that I looked for so my 11-year-old could swim on our trip. There wasn't even coffee at breakfast! Everything was subpar. I will say, the beds were comfy and seemed to be clean, but who knows? $130 to sleep 2 feet away from my ex-husband in a dirty room in a rough, rowdy area. I am disappointed and will not be returning.

the bathroom door in my room was broken and so was the television-- i requested at least the TV be fixed (they said it was as simple as unplugging/replugging) and it was NOT. they put me in a smoking room when i requested s NON smoking room as they said NOTHING else was available at check in, knowing of my reservation ahead of time. Staff was NOT available for any emergencies, needs or concerns although they said they would be. Overall, would NOT RECOMMEND until they get proper/adequate staffing (across the board) and remodel or fix their rooms.

When we checked in our hotel room smelled so bad that our clothes smelled of it too. We had poop or blood stains on our sheets-they offered to give us new sheets we could put on ourselves- it was so gross and the smell was so bad we ended up just leaving and driving home that night at midnight. They refused to give us a refund- I would never recommend this place to anyone. there is no way this room was cleaned because they also left us with no toilet paper on the roll

There was a trash cart outside the laundry room, which was overflowing. At first I thought that it was housekeeping's cart, but it was still there the second day. When we first entered our room, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach! We left the door open for fresh air, which helped. Also, the bathroom door couldn't close completely. Breakfast was extremely limited! Glad we brought something with us.

I didn't enjoy my stay so much it was late when I got there to check in and first there was a paper on the door saying go to the office on the hotel that was in the front so once I got in there the clerk said he had to call Expedia to verify I paid already after I showed him my itenirary and receipt so after that I get a room that the key wouldn't open and so I had to walk back to the office of the other hotel to tell him that my key didn't work he rekeyed it And it still didn't work so he came up there tried his master key it didn't work so he put me in a different room.

I had to call a number to get someone to come to the front desk. There was a note that said would be back in 10 minutes. Well no one came back in 10 minutes. I had to call.
There was a free complimentary breakfast that starts at 6:00AM. The door was locked and a note said to see the person in the motel next door. When the person came he had to start bringing out what food was available. I wanted to get on the road so the first thing that was brought out was yogurt. I do not what else would of been available as I left to start my travel.
