The property was more like a slumlord apartment complex than a corporate business. There was no comforter on the bed just a blanket with a large bleach stain the should’ve thrown away a long time ago (my opinion) so I decided to sit in the chair only see a large white stain. Which my was cue to exit and request a refund just to make it to the lobby where 10 other guests were doing the same thing

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we decided to end our stay early, they were very accommodating and helped to get the last night refunded. The location is why we chose this place, and it worked out nicely. We walked to and from the Chiefs game and avoided all traffic. The sheets/bedding were clean as well as the toilet, shower, sinks and counters. It ended there. This place has permanent residents. Not sure how it works out but the residents were definitely from struggling situations. There was fighting that got bad enough the police were called. The smells in the halls and elevator were horrific. A combination of urine, cigarette smoke, marijuana and who knows what else. Our room was better but not great. I bought a glade plug in to mask the smell. The kitchen was useless as there was not any kind of cookware. While we felt ok sleeping in the beds and using the bathroom, the walls were disgusting and there was lots of build up along the floorboards. I've stayed in lots of cheap motels and am not extremely picky, but this one topped them all on the gross scale and I would not stay here again.

We would have left but being the night before the Chiefs game there was nothing we could do and I had already paid almost $200 for this room.

This was the worse place i have ever stayed.. Check in is at 3pm,We got there 315pm and had to wait forever. Hardly no rooms were available. The check in area is about a 5x10 spot. It was a disaster. The room smelled of smoke and old dirty water. There was nothing good about this motel.

There are plenty of below average things about this hotel. The only positive is that is a walk from from stadiums in Kansas City. Even then the walk is treacherous because of the lack of sidewalks. The bad things are too much to list but I’ll try. The bad: uncomfortable beds, dirty room, dirty floors, dingy sheets, low water pressure, dirty restrooms, shady staff. The parking was free, but this hotel was just had. We originally booked 2 nights but couldn’t stay the second night because of the overall condition. I would not recommend this hotel.

Tjere was noone in the office from 10pm-10am. Online in tjhe deacription for this hotel it said they offer grab amd go breakfast, that was nonexistent. Our room for the most part was clean, only had 2 towels and 3 ppl, there was 1/2 a tomato left in the refrigerator from previous person who stayed. There was no way to talk.to aomeone or checkout before the sign said 10am. There was alot.of noise outside from.ppl pulling in the parking spaces right outside our room, they would leave with someone that pulled up then return 15-20 minutes later get on their loud motorcycle and leave. I dont believe these were guest of the hotel.

The room has sensor lights, so they turn on when you get up out of bed. As I did, and the lights came on, I saw at least 10 roaches scatter throughout the room. When I tried to call down to the front desk, ofc the room phone didn't work. Then when I went to check out the girl at tue front desk was super non chalant about the roaches and phone issue. They should have refunded my stay, but that didn't even cross their minds as an option.

RUN !!! Let me start by saying I am in no means bougie or complain about places. They serve the purpose, but We stayed here for location to stadium for the NFL. playoff game . Price was jacked up ( supply n demand I get it, but paid over $400 for 2 nights !
This place allows animals which is totally acceptable but we were next to a room that the smell of dog poop and dirty dog smell lingered into hallway ( I have dogs at home that can smell at times but this was BAD)!
Room was acceptable but VERY basic, ya know like what a starving college kids 1st apt looks like.
1 bar of hand soap. bathroom towel meant for a newborn, no iron, no coffee pot, no hairdryer, no couch. Fitted Bedsheets were too small didn’t fit therefor came off several times ( finally said screw it and slept w/ out them had a lil table, literally hairballs in bathroom sink and on floor. fridge had rust spots all over it ( no big deal, made the most of it) UNTIL, the room was dark and the cockroaches came out.
I killed one, as did my daughter. and Saw additional ones between fridge and counter .
Security was present until 10 PM ( when they stop doing check ins)
Do yourself a favor especially if you value your cleanliness and go elsewhere!

Arrived past the normal check-in time and reception window had a steel shutter \"New York style\". Eventually someone came to attend the half dozen people waiting. The employee was courteous. The only thing odd is that he was wearing latex gloves.

Upon entering the room, there was a smell. The beds were elevated on a steel frame with no box spring. I found two small cockroaches in the bathroom and evidence that mice had been inside the kitchen drawers.

Overnight, there was some sketchy activity. Cars would come by to the back of the hotel, honk the horn three times and someone would go out through the back door to the car, then come back inside. This took place multiple times.

We decided to leave the hotel the next morning. While waiting for the Uber outside, there were multiple people that appeared to have mental health issues or drug abuse roaming by the door with a hotel key.

As we were leaving the property, the large dumpster in the parking lot was open with trash all over the floor as a couple of people were rummaging through it. All in all, not a pleasant experience.

Looking for a place to stay in the KC area with a view of the stadiums without breaking your wallet, this is it.

Disappointed!

It took a long time to be greeted even after dialing the number for service. Once greeted it was discovered that the room wasn’t ready at 4pm with check in being at 3pm. The desk clerk stated “no one wanted to clean rooms”, she had on gloves as if she had been preparing rooms. The room was clean but there was no bedspread on the bed.

No. Jokingly asked if I should find a bush and he said that he would. Told them to call when ready, after an hour I went in and it was finally ready. Out of key cards so gave me a quarter sized key fob. Restroom right inside behind check-in I could've used, floor in room was still soaking wet, light over sink was broken and sitting on the toilet. Terrible stay.

The hotel is close to the stadiums, but there’s little sidewalks, dangerous & unstable terrain. My son joined us later. When we got back from the game I wanted to get a rollaway. The front desk was closed with a wooden roller shade. I came down & knocked on the shade, because the phone in our room was broke. The night auditor, on the other side of the shade, said you have to use the phone. I told her I tried, that the phone in my room wasn’t working! She said the phone on the wall. Without her direction, I finally found it. Through an automated voice, and prompts, I finally got a real person. The lady said the front desk is closed, that whatever you reserved is what you got. I told her that my son unexpectedly showed up later, that we only have one double bed in our room. That can’t accommodate 3 people! It was challenging to understand her through her accent, but I asked if I can’t get a rollaway, can I at least get another pillow & blanket so my son can sleep on the hard floor. She again said that what’s on your reservation is what you get. I informed her that I worked at hotels for over 10 years, and have never treated my guests like this! She then said she’ll ask the front desk if any are available. She came back and said someone will bring down a blanket & pillow, to wait in the lobby. Someone eventually came down from an upper floor and got us a blanket & pillow. The Security Guard even brushed me off, saying I had to use the phone.

The hotel was not clean, smelled like marijuana, our room was not ready at check-in time (3 PM) and we were told that we could leave for the event we were in town for at 5 PM (room still not ready) and come back to check-in afterwards. We were told our room would be ready and that we wouldn’t get a late check-in fee. When we got back to the hotel no one was there and they had a sign posted “At this time we have no vacancies. You will be refunded. Sorry for the inconvenience.” Absolutely unacceptable that this happened to many others as well. My 10 yo son and I had to drive 3 hours to find a hotel with vacancy to let us check in at 4 AM so we could get a few hours of sleep before we finished the last 4 hours of our drive back home. The hotel we ended up staying at was double the cost of the hotel we booked in Kansas City. Do not stay at this dump.

I wish I could leave more than one star, but I can’t. Friday I was in town with a friend for the Morgan Wallen concert. We went to check in at 3 on Friday and were told rooms still weren’t ready and wouldn’t be for another 30-45 minutes. We were okay with that, we just asked if we could check in after the concert and the guy at the front desk said we could with no problems. After the concert, we drove to the hotel to check in, once there, no one was at the front desk and there was a sign saying “no vacancies, you will be refunded”. My friend and I were stuck with no room and this point and ended up having to drive back to Iowa due to no other hotels have rooms. A email or call would’ve been nice so we could’ve figured out something else while waiting in the traffic, instead we didn’t find out anything until after getting back to the hotel. Still have not been refunded either so that’s great.

Serious Management Issues

We had a reservation several weeks in advance. When we arrived on Friday, August 2nd at 3:00 p.m., we were told that the cleaning staff had just showed up so no rooms were ready and it would be several hours and they would not check us in until the rooms were ready. There were probably 20 or more people trying to check in so they could get ready for a concert at Arrowhead. Everyone ended up in the parking lot trying to change clothes, fix hair, makeup, etc. When we came back after the concert (a little after midnight), we were informed that the hotel was oversold and that we did not have a room. They stated that they were oversold by 11 rooms. There were no hotels available in the KC area so we ended up driving all through the night to get back home. This leads to two questions: 1. How does a hotel not have a backup plan when their housekeeping staff doesn't show up or calls in sick? Any good manager would be in there cleaning the rooms themselves before they default on 20+ bookings. 2. How does a hotel oversell 11 rooms? If you are a car salesman, do you promise the same car to 3 different people and just wait to see who shows up first? It is very obvious that there are serious management issues at this hotel. The staff that was onsite was very frustrated with the lack of support they were receiving. I am very certain that there are at least 11 customers that will never consider staying at this dump again.

I went back inside at 4 and I was told to still wait as rooms were not clean. The staff were amazing and really attentive from the minute we checked in to when we checked out early. Like the only thing that really killed our time there and why we checked out early was due to the few bugs we found in our room. It really just threw us off because the room was just cleaned and everything but then we came back and as soon as we opened the door there were 2 bugs running under the fridge and then a few more on the walls and bathroom.

This was awful. The beds are terrible, there were bugs thoughout, and the shower did not work. The water out the tub faucet was a trickle, tried to fill the tub for 30 minutes, after realizing the shower didnt work, there was only about 3 inches in the bottom. We tried to address this with front counter, but fhere was no one there at 2am (when we found the second bug in the bathroom), or even at 8am when we left. The booking said there was grab an go breakfast, nothing, not even coffee anywhere, including the room. I would like a refund on my stay please.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. As soon as we got to our room, we found there was no hand soap in the bathroom and had to leave to go try and buy some (on Christmas Eve after 10pm). As soon as we got back, we weren't in the room for more than 10 mintues before finding THREE cockroaches in the kitchenette and bathroom. The front desk was closed so I had to call the emergency maintenance line, who didn't apologize. They put us in a new room down the hall but we still felt uneasy because if you see one cockroach, there's hundreds you don't see. Sure enough, the next morning, another cockroach scuttled across the bathroom floor. I told the main desk before leaving for the game and they were very apathetic. No offers to switch rooms again or refund. The hotel itself was just dirty and had foul smells everywhere you went. Beds were small and extremely uncomfortable. Front desk was nearly always empty. Went to leave and an employee asked how our stay was. We mentioned the bugs and she scoffed at us \"well sorry\" and seemed annoyed. All employees made themselves scarce whenever I mentioned the bugs and were unwilling to do anything to try and fix the situation. I'm very displeased with the lack of cleanliness and customer service. Two nights for nearly $300 is NOT worth it and I regret not finding a different hotel.

Just Don’t

Lets start with basic customer service, lets just say the reception is luke warm at best. Followed by a lie to tell me they would call me when my room was ready. After a 30 min wait longer than what i was told was the expected time i check in which was a snail like pace considering the line behind me.

I then proceed to my room which was indeed not even close to ready as housekeeping was still there. So back to the cheerful reception desk, no apology,

Now on to my second room which was “ready”. Let me tell you what that meant. A room with…..
