This is a very nice hotel in a lovely, quiet, safe neighbourhood with shopping, restaurants and cafes nearby. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so quiet, I slept exceptionally well. I would definitely stay here again. It’s a short ride (approx. 25 minutes) on public transport to all the tourist attractions. Eva at the front desk was very nice!

Room is reasonable in size and clean, had a tea kettle for tea. Coffee has to be nescafe. It has a room safe. The bed is good, but the blankets could be better. It has an okay desk and a large television set. I did not try the breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently located near many restaurants and shops and public transportation.

The hotel is clean, modern, quiet, comfortable and located in a smart suburb of Berlin with great U-Bahn and bus connections.
It is possible to use the hotel fully automatically without any need to see any member of staff should you wish. The keys are all on your mobile phone. As such, it feels faintly impersonal although highly convenient and modern.

Whilst this was a charming property in a relatively good location with convenient walking distance to dinning and public transportation, our stay was not comfortable. Unfortunately this property did not have AC and we stayed during a hot week. The room was on the top level 4th floor which made it hotter. Only one bottle of complimentary water during our entire stay and the only cooling method was a small fan and opening two small windows without bug screens. It was so hot this is how we slept. We had to deal with car noises and possible bugs coming in as well as second hand smoke from the balconies below. There is a parking lot in front that added to noise and lights being on all night that we couldn't block out due to the windows having to be open for ventilation. This was definitely not a no-smoking hotel as every time we walked the hallway to a very small lift the smell of smoke was present. As I was traveling with my daughter who has a health condition these were not appreciated circumstances. The last night we were there she coughed and wheezed most of the night. Another con is there is no nighttime support at the front desk, to support in case of an emergency.
The worst part was they overcharged us they did not honor the expedia price I booked which was 155$ breakfast not included and as mentioned no AC.
The average cost per night they billed was 250$. More than the cost of local full service hotels listed on expedia such as the Radisson with AC Spa Restaurant,

Clean, good location but no proper sleep

I was facing like a garbage and goods center, which trucks starts moving, loading unloading since very early hour, and alarm in this center goes on late hours everyday,
I was waiting on door for almost 2 hours in very cold wet weather because the application to open doors didn’t work,
Location is good, room clean, but could not get one good night proper sleep because of this cennete which is just across the street from Balcony

The room was very clean.

The check-in process was all remote and very confusing. The front door off of the main road was dark and there were instructions on the door on how to get into your room. There was no staff on the premises to help guide you with the check-in process, which was very confusing. I had to ask someone for assistance because I was not able to get into the hotel on my own.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely neighborhood. Our room was new and modern and large. The bathroom and shower was very nice. The breakfast was amazing with hot and cold items and coffee drinks. The balcony was nice overlooking a park. The staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent place to stay if you have younger kids because there is a park/playground across the street. Staff is friendly. Only negative is our room was warm and there wasn’t any air conditioning or fan. Luckily our friends lived close by and lent us a fan. Public transportation, restaurants, shopping and groceries were all close by.

The location was perfect for us, near relatives. For others, it is great too. You are one block from the UBahn station, and at a shopping venue with both groceries, drogerie, and prepared food. The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast good and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and all seemed to speak some English. If you stay on 3 or 4, there are steps to navigate since the elevator stops between the floors. There is no airconditioning but you can open the windows. We were pleased and will go back.

Overnight in Berlin - comfortable stay at Anna 190

The hotel is a little bit of a strange set up with the rooms in another building that also seems to be a residential building. But, the rooms are really nice, clean, well designed and comfortable. I slept very well, the breakfast was good and the emmener of staff that checked me in was very helpful. I wasn’t aware that the reception closes at 18:00 so you should beware of this, but you can check in online and collect your key so as long as you are aware you shouldn’t be put off by that fact.

A spacious budget alternative with reservations

The room (ours was called Our Cosy Room) was sufficient in size and had a nice bathroom, as a surprise there was also a refrigerator – nothing was mentioned about it anywhere and its not in the photos, really nice to have one in any case. Perhaps not all of the rooms have it?
A minus was that during the night tobacco smoke came into the room, we're not sure from where, could not find the source. Windows were closed. This points to some problems with the ventilation of the building.
The elevator doesn't stop at the same floors with the rooms, so you have to carry suitcases in stairs part of the way.
24 hour parking at the mall in the same block (less than 100 meters away) costs only 5 euros, which is really nice (cash payments only)

Location is close to a major shopping center and u-bahn station. The breakfast here was very good and included scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. There were lot of sliced meats, cheeses, cereals. The coffee was of low quality. The main problem was the major construction across the street which started with very loud bangs at 6am. I should have been informed about this! And how is it allowed to start construction with loud noises at 6am? In the USA it cannot start before 7 or 8 am typically. Furthermore, this hotel has no AC and temperatures were well above 30 Celsius. The bathroom was extremely small and it was almost impossible the way it was designed to prevent flooding the bathroom floor. The hotel service staff through away my water bottle and my padded envelop which I was using for my IPad. They also left no room in the mini-fridge for my own drinks, and then they tried to charge me for the drinks which I had removed from the minifridge to make room for my own.

I stayed for 3 nights so,the room is very big , very clean, quiet, queen bed plus 1 sofa bed and i have choose 1 person room!!!
The staff was very friendly and they speak very good English.

Friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback was that it has no air conditioning, which might be fine during the winter months but not so much in the summer.

Quiet location, 2 minute walk to bus and subway

If you need good Internet access, go elsewhere. The connection was very slow and occasionally spotty.
We arrived after 11 PM from the airport and the doors were locked. You had to call a phone number and they would release a door key and room key from a box by the door. But if you don't have a working phone you're out of luck. It can take a couple of days to get a cell phone SIM card working there (security screening required), so if our Swedish SIM card hadn't worked, we would have been unable to get into the hotel.

We knew we had booked out of the city centre ie away from the tourists centre but the neighbourhood and convenient public transport was excellent. Cafes and restaurants nearby. Only downside was no tea and coffee in the room. Didn't try breakfast as plenty of places nearby. Great stay.

Very nice hotel located 150 mts to a metro station making access to any turist attraction in Berlin. The hotel is also located close a very good shopping area. Hotel has some parking space but limited, in front has big parking facility (EUR 10 a day). The breakfast is good but a little bit expensive in my opinion. Room good and very confortable. I had some administrative issues but very well managed by hotel staff. This hotel is arecommended option for sure

We stayed at Anna 1908 for an entire week. My husband was in the hospital and this was one of two hotels that was close-by. The recent 2015 renovation was the reason for us picking Anna. It didn't disappoint. The accommodations are very nice, especially the bathroom and the breakfast! The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Our problem was that it was loud at night; we were directly across from a play ground, which was a meeting place for night-time partying.

The hotel is clean and conveniently located. Room size was adequate and comfortable. There is no ventilation, ceiling fan or AC in the room so it got a little stuffy. We opened windows (no screens) and could hear street noise which made it difficult to sleep. Wi-fi worked well. Lift to upper floor was helpful. Nice staff and eating area off foyer. We would stay at the Anna 1908 again but not during summer months.

Since we were staying in Berlin for almost 3 weeks we needed more than a hotel room and Anna 1908 gave it to us!!!! We had our own parking place in the parking garage, our own keyed entry and apartment with kitchen! When we go back to Berlin we will be staying there again!!! Perfect!

This was absolutely the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Berlin. The room is huge studio with a couch. It made me feel like I wasn't visiting Berlin but I was living there! I will definitely stay again. A bit off the beaten track of where all nightlife and points of interest are but there is a train right around the corner that is super easy to navigate!

Breakfast was very good; for Japanese might not fit for more then few days.
Elevator stopped between levels which makes carry big suitcase into/out of rooms difficult.

I was very impressed with this hotel. If not for the weak breakfast I would have given it 5. Recently refurbished it is clean and comfortable. Rooms are good sized with nice showers and comfy beds. Great if you need to be in the area (though also near the U-Bahn). The main part of the hotel and the room was modern and very clean and tidy, but the staircase is a little dated and run-down. Like all hotels, the pillows are far too big for me! Staff were friendly and pleasant, but unable to correct a booking mistake I'd make (though I did manage to get this fixed after returning to London). Most cafes nearby are shut on Sunday morning, but we found an bakery about 5 mins walk away.

Ligt in een winkelgebied. Metro en trein stoppen op loopafstand van hotel. Supermarkten, winkels en eetvoorzieningen liggen kort in de buurt. Heb goed kunnen parkeren in parkeergarage van het hotel zelf. Euro 12 per nacht is een prima prijs. Kamers zien zeer netjes uit. Er wordt goed gepoetst. In de ochtend wordt er wel vrij hard met deuren geslagen. Maar dat is dan ook het enigen minpunt.

Leider lag mein Zimmer Richtung Anlieferungsbereich von Supermärkten, weshalb Geräusche morgens früh zu hören waren.
