I really did not like the treatment I received at the front desk. It was my second stay and each time I booked thru expedia. In august it was 77 euros/day this time 150 and they made a point of embarrassing me at check in asking repeatedly if I added breakfast and I said yes but they said they did not honor the free breakfast if I booked thru Expedia. I brought uo the last stay and they acted like they didnt know what I was talking about and just saying that bc I used Expedia, I couldnt get the free breakfast (or for a small charge).

The location was walkable to my friend's apartment. The breakfast every morning was spectacular!! The rooms were quiet, clean, modern, the bedding I absolutely loved and took a picture of the label to hopefully buy a comforter:). The only odd thing was not all the staff spoke English--forward facing staff like the front desk and restaurant--even simple stuff like can I take a roll to go LOL

In my opinion Executive benefits did not work. After my meeting with the manager the staff brought - one salad, one meat and french fries. Thats all. Only breakfast was perfect... so do not waste your money for more expensive rooms in this hotel. The staff was not helpful. I felt unwelcomed. (Nearly no amenities in the room. In the double suite - 1 toothbrush , 1 shower cup- shame. Dirty carpet.

Great property. Wonderful breakfast and very central. The staff cares, but the owners appear not to. Broken elevator during the entire four night stay. Non functioning WiFi and room AC that is non-functioning.
Staff was apologetic, and friendly. It appears the ownership is detached.

If they fix these simple issues, I will highly recommend this hotel.

Tower Suite Large, spacious, beautiful, stylish and clean. The business lounge Lounge Access is not satisfactory at all. The meal is very poor. The mini bar in the suite is free but only has soft drinks. Overall, worth the price.

We experienced an issue with bedding. Double bed was just two single beds. Most problem with small single blankets. The size is for teenagers and not for adults. And for double bed - two separate small blankets. This is very inconvenient.
Another issue is single elevator for huge size hotel.

A good stay at the Hyperion

The Hyperion is nicely located away from the main streets and therefore a little quieter, yet close enough to city and public transport links to get where you need.

It's a comfortable hotel and well appointed for a competitive price when compared to other hotels in slightly more central locations.

We stayed for two nights over the new year to help our dog and newborn baby cope better with the fireworks -- Germany has crazy loud fireworks. We had one of the inner facing business rooms on the fifth floor. Our dog was able to make it through the fireworks in Berlin for the first time without hyperventilating and shivering himself into throwing up. We are so grateful. Our newborn was well accommodated with a baby bed and the dog fee of 25€ a night go us a dedicated dog bed, can of dog food, some treats, and water and food bowls. It was a really enjoyable trip and we also managed to keep everyone rested and mostly relaxed through the loud fireworks. If braving the new year celebrations with a pup or baby, highly recommend bringing a sound machine, lots of extra dog treats and getting the walks in earlier in the day before the fireworks start going more frequently in the early evening.

Hidden gem not far from Ku-Damm

What a find in Berlin! My first visit and definitely not my last. From the friendly staff to the great room on the Executive lounge level with free mini-bar (albeit a bit limited), great food, fast Wi-Fi, great bathroom, comfy bed, great value-for-money (£130 for a Junior suite with Executive lounge access), this puts all the other 4 star hotels to shame. The only minor downside was the location, in a side street off Prager Platz but the Güntzel Straße U-Bahn station was only 5 minutes walk with connections to Zoologischer Garten main station. Breakfast (included) was top drawer. All-in-all, if you wasn’t value and don’t have to be right in the centre then choose this!

First time to Berlin. Chose this hotel due to good reviews. Had to change rooms as first one had horrible stench due to prior guest’s excessive cologne and lack of privacy due to gym being directly across the courtyard (1st floor). Moved to fifth floor. Smaller room with non enclosed sink and shower area but smelled much better. Room was clean although housekeeping forgot to come the third day. The complimentary minibar was never restocked the entire stay which was a disappointment. Breakfast was very good but extremely crowded at 9-10 am. Liked the late hours - until 1030 am weekdays, noon weekends. Only 2 elevators which was insufficient for hotel’s size. But thing I liked least was hotel’s inconvenient location to Berlin tourist zone. It’s very close to a station on the U9 subway but that line requires an annoying connection (or 2) to get to anywhere of note. I did like that the neighborhood felt very safe, quiet and local. Also the shopping center literally next door with an Aldi, drug store and full size supermarket was Incredibly convenient. Overall not bad but a bit too far off the beaten path for tourists.

A Good place to stay.

It is a modern hotel with excellent facilities, and the staff is cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was a surprise, with a vast selection rather than the average European cold-style buffet. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I noticed a large number of families who were enjoying their stay.

This is a very good, fresh business class hotel with spacious rooms. The location is excellent, in a quiet city quarter with restaurants, a small shopping center, and such just next door. It was a five-minute walk from a U-Bahn station and about 15 minutes from Kurfurstendamm. The room was larger than expected, with a free mini bar :) Strongly recommend to bot business and leisure travelers.

Very nice place to stay in Berlin. Quiet and pleasant neighborhood, very close to Metro (only two stops to famous Kurfustendamm) with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Mini bar included and regularly is renewed. There is some room to improve service but overall impression is very good and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Christmas Market Holiday and Family Visit

Overall, excellent venue conveniently located to underground, and stores and shops. Excellent breakfast buffet with many selections. Overall a good value for the price. Staff was very helpful, including Jens, and young Romanian man at desk. My luggage was delayed, staff was very sympathetic. Room and bathroom were very clean, although some of the furnishings in room showed minor wear and tear. Hall rugs outside room were a bit worn. But definitely could overlook that. Mostly quiet neighborhood but there was a man screaming outside my first night there. Thankfully, that didn’t last beyond the first of 8 nights.

I cannot fault the hotel. We had a family room for 4. This is two separate rooms joined via a common separate corridor. Brilliant design. The stay was very comfortable. Underground station is close by and easy to get into central Berlin, airport etc. Shops, restaurants and Cafes in close vicinity.

The hyperion hotel in very beautiful and convenient location. There are loads of restaurants Pizzerias cafes. There is ALDI within 2min walk. The Güntzelstraße metro is 3min walk which on U9.
Berlin zoo & Tiergarten arejust 10min away. Berlin Frederick Strasse & Alexander Plaz stations are around 15 to 20min.

There is a high class Indian restaurant Namaste 750metres from Hotel. A fantastic icecream cafe besides will be fun for teens & kids.

A park in vicinity adds more serene comfort.

My family had a pleasant stay. I have seen some reviews about noise levels. My room was facing the prager strasse and I felt it very quite in morning also. Its quitest I have stayed in any city centre.

We paid for early check-in at 11.30am. The rooms were clean & neat with all basic amenities Minibar & coffee machine. Complementary 2 bottles of water 💧. The room serving was good and so as mini bar replenishment.

We had balcony in our rooms which are connected in 2nd floor to enjoy coffee and snacks. We didn't opt for Hotel breakfast as we used to start early in mornings.

Overall a nice 5day stay in Hyperion Hotel. Definitely Recommend for family stays. 😍

Two night stay at Hyperion went very well. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Rooms were in tip top shape and the double room system for adjoining rooms was great with kids. Restaurant on site but minutes away from lots of restaurants and a mall. Residential area around it and using a taxi to and from was a breeze. Highly recommended.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights when I visited my daughter. The room is very spacious, with a very large walk-in closet to store luggage and clothes. Bath room is also very large. Room is Very clean. They also provide the access to the executive lounge to have free snacks and drinks and continental breakfast, which is incredibly good. Location is also good, quiet and convenient to local restaurants. Overall it was a surprise. Highly recommended.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a nice breakfast offering. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
It's located in a quiet suburb, so not near the main activity areas - good if you are looking for a quieter stay.
It's either a 20 minute walk from Zoologisher Garten, or a 10 minute U-bahn ride (station literally 1 minute round the corner from the hotel).

Much enjoyed this hotel and the neighbourhood. Very large rooms for Berlin. Had comforts of a big fridge, night lights and balcony. Reception always answers the phone. Only thing missing was a bathtub, but the huge rainfall shower goes some way to make up for this.

I arrived one day early for my German trip and I didn't have a place to stay. I selected the Hyperion through Hotels.com because it was close to my hotel and there was availability. Good choice. The staff spoke English (I spoke no German and felt bed about that) and the hotel was clean. I didn't get to explore much of the area, but there really wasn't a point. I was there on a Sunday and most businesses are closed on Sundays. It was pretty quiet. My room faced the backside which housed a garden. I'm glad for that. Thank you Hyperion, I had a lovely stay, however short.

We switched plans last minute and was able to book a room for two at Hyperion. It was very easy to book, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. We stayed in a wonderful room with a great view. We had travel plans before our stay, and we were able to check-in our large luggages before our check-in date, which was so helpful! Staff also helped us print out travel documents before our departure which was much appreciated!

Fantastic hotel for a few day city break, lovely clean comfortable rooms, great interior, the downstairs bar was great & the staff where very friendly and helped recommended things to do, especially Ricardo at reception. The breakfast buffet was 10/10, great selection of foods. The hotel is very close to the local tube station and the staff told us about the €9 unlimited public transport ticket for the whole of Germany for 3 months. Would definitely dtay here again

Over rated, more than 30 min to get the room and at the end I had to make the room with the receptionist to make it two separate beds. Beds were very small I couldn’t sleep at till 7 am, censored lights very bad idea it made more difficult to sleep.
