The woman in charge of the dining room was exceptionally rude - my wife was ill in our room and she accused me of lying when I took a basket of their gluten free selection (a muffin and two pieces of toast) up to her and demanded I pay the full 25 euros for the full buffet on her behalf. The location is great. But the room was freezing cold (and we were staying there in December- and it was snowing outside). We asked twice to check the AC but it didn’t help. When we arrived the bathtub water was not draining, they fix it but than 2 day later the same happens with the sink.

I changed my room 3 times! Every Room had issues. First of all the staff was friendly and tried. The maintenance of the rooms as well as the cleanliness are just not what you would expect of a 4star hotel in the center of Berlin. Starting with mold in the showers (see pictures) in all three rooms I stayed in btw.
Rooms are not cleaned well. The furniture feels cheep and the laminate floors don’t help with the feel either. The showers are extremely slippery when wet. The rooms need a overhaul and it could be a great hotel.
I will definitely not stay here again.

I have to say that they made my stay very pleasant. The hotel is spotless especially during Covid times. Breakfast is very nice and the rooms are nice and warm, but not too warm. The staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful and full of personality.

We arrived a few hours early but the Hotel were able to check us in straight away. Check in was quick and easy. We had booked a room with separate bedroom and were very surprised at the modern spacious rooms. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries, from sewing kit to toothbrushes. The hotel was lovely and comfortable. I had a comfortable sleep. The issues I have are that they do not honor the Expedia Elite Vip program. I booked this hotel for benefits and I was denied them. Also even though I prepaid for the hotel through Expedia they charged my Amex in full for the stay. So I have double paid. They also charged me BERLIN city tax even though my stay was business related. Never asked me like most the high end hotels do in Berlin

I felt that the front desk people were always a little too busy or too consumed with themselves to be of much help during our stay. The place has the look and feel of a Cold War cheap spy flick and the rooms are clean and with good beds but utterly uninspiring otherwise. No need to eat at the place as there are plenty of eateries around. Remember, this is Berlin and they still have the rationing mindset, so don't expect to find great food around, though.

The room didn't look like the pictures on the website which was disappointing. We were allocated a disabled access room , no screen on shower, water went everywhere in bathroom , and there was a connecting door in the room which wasn't thick enough so we could hear the couple the next room talking , word for word untill late. The only thing I didn't like is the poor service inside the room, they tidied the beds but they didn't clean the floor of the room, we were three ladies in the room and it was full of our hair after brushing it. They didn't put enough toilet paper in the room, in the middle of the night we rant out of it.
