Very disappointing experience, definitely not worth the money. There are many better hotels in the area.

On the positive side, the lady at reception was very kind and welcoming. However, that’s about the only highlight.

Breakfast was a complete disaster: it took 45 minutes just to get a cappuccino. That’s unacceptable.

As for the staff, Robert’s role seriously needs to be reassessed. In a customer-facing position, every guest should be treated with the same level of respect and service, that was not the case here.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!! I loved the jungle theme and the aesthetic in the room and hotel. Even the elevator was a vibe. The room was okay, nothing to really wow you. It is a pretty dark hotel, and the elevator and hallways were pretty dirty which does t set the stage for a great stay. The property needs a rehab and the staff was not overly friendly. It could just be a culture difference, but we were slightly disappointed. The breakfast staff was the least friendliest of them all. Again, cultural differences, but I shouldn’t feel uncomfortable or unwanted as a guest.

Fantastic, modern, vibrant hotel in wonderful Berlin. Comfortable, fun and quirky bedrooms, one of the best bars in the city, excellent breakfasts in a stunning rooftop location and some of the very best view the city has to offer.

Overlooking the Berlin Zoo and Tiergarten is a huge plus and great for a couple of nights. We stayed for 5 nights and even the staff were surprised we were there for that long. We felt pressured by staff to have the room serviced every 3 days instead of daily - we ran out of tissues and dry towels quickly. There is no coffee or tea making facilities in the room which was really odd. Pillows are extremely soft and we had to ask twice for a second pillow. The bar upstairs is lovely but they overcharged us significantly. This was fixed when we pointed it out but it could have been easily missed if we’d charged the bill to the room. Would recommend for a maximum of nights if you’re OK with basic service but not a longer stay.

Great hotel with rooms with a view!

Great hotel in a safe location close to Zoo Station. It's modern and a bit quirky with a popular rooftop bar which was busy but with a nice atmosphere. We had a Jungle Room overlooking Berlin Zoo, Tiergarten and the Berlin skyline, and is by far the best view we've ever had in the many times we have visited Berlin.

Great place

A wonderful full of wonders place, cool, young, unconventional with a beautiful scent, centrally located next to the Bikini and the Gedächtniskirche. Nice staff. Cool rooms with superheavy sound and break-in proof doors. Workstations in the lobby (not used but top Apple stations). Monkey bar at night, Neni restaurant with wonderful breakfast buffet and view onto the zoo in the morning.

PS: just one concern: a disaster waiting to happen: the bathroom has very e very nice soap and shampoo brand, but they come in glass bottles that have no hard rails and could easily slip and break in midst of taking a shower… pls do something before that happens!!

Super fun hotel, but filled with tiny and not-travel-friendly flaws....no place to put your luggage, and i only travel with carry-on. So it gets set on the only place to sit down in the room. And there is a DANGEROUS dip in the floor next to the bed where you can literally catch your foot as you get out of the bed. AND the elevator broke, so the climbs up and down to the 8th floor were great for fitness, but a bit of a discomfort. Would probably stay here again anyway because the staff was awesome. But c'mon -- when a hotel works SO hard to be cool and hip and such, it would work just as hard to actually be COMFY and traveler-friendly.

We had a great stay at bikini. The environment is so quirky & creative. Everything is well thought through. The staff were very helpful and professional. The room was really comfortable and it was nice to have a free mini bar! Great location too and we’d definitely love to be back! Oh and the monkey bar & Neni are an added bonus! Love this hotel!

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM -- on weekends the Monkey Bar turns into a disco and the bass comes down to seventh floor and lower. Don't get a room on that side. At midnight I had to switch rooms because it was unbearable.

Liked the room and the view , big windows great but makes the room cold. Coffee bar rarely open / weird hours but coffee was delicious when open , when we had the room cleaned they just picked up the dirty towels didn’t replace monkey bar - nice view nice seevers fun energy but watery drinks , restaurant delicious but servers seemed stressed but good view , area was kind of like Hollywood or Disneyland or the dells so good if that’s what you’re looking for. Not horrible but not great overall wouldn’t stay here again

It's a great location - close to public transportation & it seemed safe to me. I had to walk (alone, and I am a woman) from the train station to the hotel (5 minutes) at midnight with my suitcase in tow, and I didn't feel unsafe at all.
When I got to my room, it was really hot, and I could not get the air to turn on. I went back to the front desk and the woman there was very apologetic and got me a new room right away. She even came up to the new room to make sure it was ok .
The rooftop bar is amazing, the food at the hotel restaurant is very good. If you like hummus, definitely get the trio with the freshly made pita bread!
I would stay here again!

If you want to sleep this is not your hotel to choose . The music is so loud you can’t sleep at all . It’s like you are in party, boom boom all night . They said 7 floor is not noisy and we stayed there with a child it’s a party hotel . They should inform the guests so they can choose to spend 400 dollar to have your head explode . Very upsetting .

The hotel has an excellent location next to zoo station and in the zoo area. The rooms are as per photos, we had large jungle rooms, only observation would be a put-up bed was needed for the second bed - the bed settee wasn’t really functional. This wasn’t a problem though.

The room was fine and the free mini bar (only twice no matter how long you stay) was a nice surprise. The location was very out of the way for most sights in Berlin though there are a number of transportation options nearby. Check in and check out were very slow and disorganized. The monkey bar bouncer was extremely obnoxious and rude to all people coming through the front door in the evenings.

This is a wonderful property in the middle of Berlin surrounded by great transportation and shopping. The staff was very nice and there are some creative aspects to the theme, which has been developed due to the proximity to the Berlin zoo. Unfortunately, western creature comforts take a backseat to design at this hotel. It would’ve been really great to have a nice chair in the room, for example. Also, I had to ask for an additional lamp since part of the theme of the place is very low lighting. The shower, on the other hand is a work of art. And the rooftop breakfast was wonderful. The truth is, for the cost of this hotel I would have rather gone to a luxury brand that would have given me the creature comforts I am used to at this price point.

Stunning views on the zoo, very friendly and cool atmosphere. Very nice and welcoming staff. Free water and beer in the mini bar. Love the VIP access to the Monkey Bar and the Nenni restaurant. Unique and fun experience with young adults. What's best than opening your windows and hearing the birds ? Very convenient, the train station and the shopping area. Rooms are a bit small but largely compensated by the high windows.

Berlin's best hotel!

An amazing stay from start to finish. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff and priority given to hotel guests at every step including the public bar which was a nice touch. Room was impeccable, very comfortable bed and you can look out on the Berlin horizon from your shower! Only downside is the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room, especially considering the hotels coffee shop was closed during our stay. However, I would highly recommend 25 hours and we will sure be back again.

Unfortunately the staff is condescending. From not cleaning the rooms on a daily basis to being upset because you bring it up.
As a guest there’s access to the Monkey Bar. Yet they don’t appreciate hotel clientele there; as they prioritise the general public queue.
It’s rather unfortunate for a beautifully located property… yet the staff does require proper training … the general manager had been on leave … while not leaving senior enough personnel to take care of the property. I’m sad to say that I won’t be coming nor advising anyone to stay here.

Loved it! Everything was beyond expectations - checkin, room, little amenities and bar in the room, the amazing 3rd floor lobby and even the cool Monkey bar (which hotel guests have access to). Highly recommend staying here when you are in Berlin.

Love the hotel , love the location , restaurant and bar are super cool and food is amazing! Staff were super helpful and friendly. My one and only issue was that my room was on the 9th floor underneath the bar which was busy until 2am( just had to go and have a drink , if you can’t beat em join em!) apart from that I loved every detail and will be returning but will request a room on the floors below. Highly recommend!

Very disappointing experience, it is true I was off by a day and made a mistake when booking to arrive a day later, the hotel reaction was \"tough luck\" and offered the very same booking for twice what I paid for the night before and never used, funny thing is that we arrived at the end of the day [5 PM] and they still would rather have us overpay instead of filling up the rooms and have us happy after a long drive from Prague. The worst thing was is that while we waited to decide what to do they went out of their way to play Israeli music after they knew that we were Arabs, yes you guessed it!! we walked away and went to a hotel next door

Very happy with the service, especially at Monkey Bar which is very popular and they treated us exceptionally while ordering, getting a table and also by letting us skip the long line since we were hotel guests. We had a room with the view of the park which is worth every penny, and overall the rooms are really nice.

The hotel is in am amazing area and the staff are great but still failed to resolve my issues. The bed pillows are not comfortable at all and when I complained they gave me extra pillows... still uncomfortable. There was an odor in my room... my room basically smelled like a kitchen - nothing was done to fix this. The internet had issues were it frequently stopped while you were using your ipad or iphone and this too nothing was done to fix it.

Amazing festive stay. Friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed. Clean, great location. Hammock in the room is a great touch & so we’re the little sweets they gave us to celebrate our anniversary. Also fantastic reviews for the Monkey Bar on the rooftop which we ended up in on every night of our stay. Would definitely recommend and will 100% stay here again on our next visit to Berlin.

We thought this hotel was really fun and different. The design was contemporary and very unique and comfortably casual. The guestrooms were beautiful and very spacious. The lobby was warm and inviting with a great music mix always playing and varied spaces for more or less lively ambience...spaces to go that were more or less quiet. The restaurant at roof level was excellent and very innovative, one of most highly rated restaurants in Berlin...and a convenient bakery/coffee bar at the lobby. The elevator was a lot of fun and entertaining. Perhaps the corridors are a little too dark but very dramatic. Also perhaps it would be nice to have an area rug in the guestrooms with otherwise concrete and tile floors only. The location was convenient with close access to public transit. We loved staying there and highly recommend it.

The hotel has a fantastic view over the zoo (be sure to book on the \"Jungle\" side) and has a wonderful feel to it. The rooms are modern and very cool, with good attention to detail and some great touches (for example, there is bluetooth speaker in the room). We found the room to be very quiet, but we were on the 4th floor. I did wonder if anyone on the 8th floor would hear the noise from the Monkey Bar on the 10th. The bar and restaurant on the 10th floor have the best views out over the nearby Zoo and Tiergarten on one side, and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and Ku'damm on the other. Down in the lobby area there is some nice seating and hammocks, as well as the bakery that sells nice cakes as well as coffee. The receptionists and other staff were very helpful and friendly. The downside of the hotel is that it is expensive, both in the room prices and the cost of food and drink. Breakfast was a rather steep 21 Euros each when we went, although there was a great selection and the view is amazing. It is definitely a hotel I would recommend to others, especially if you are in Berlin for a special celebration, as we were. Not a hotel to choose you are on a tight budget though.
