Really disappointing stay. We booked for a spa stay. We accepted a less ideal location in return for the services and ended up trekking miles for no benefit. We were emailed 2 days before travelling and told the spa was closed. I called and the staff member said it would all reopen by the time we arrived. When we got there only the pool was open. No apologies. Mould in the bathroom, rusty radiator, badly damaged headboard, aircon was turned off because of the time of year - despite it being an unusually warm week. There was one milk sachet in the bedroom, which wasn’t replaced for the entirety of the stay so we had to go out and buy it. Used cups weren’t replaced so we were washing up. The place was soulless and unfriendly. I would recommend anyone goes elsewhere.

Nice hotel. Good bed, view and breakfast. Very quiet for a busy part of Berlin.
Room just needed a really good deep clean and the bathroom had black mould between the wall and floor. The same with the grout between the tiles - I wiped some of it off just out of curiosity with one of their towels and it came straight off so with a bit of effort the room would be spotless. I didn’t bring it up to management.
I would still return to it though.

Lovely hotel. Rooms were a good size and comfortable. Bar area was good and the hotel staff attentive.

Unfortunately, there was no WiFi in either of the 2 rooms we had which in this day and age is not good. Coupled with the fact the pool was out of use and also the steam room where the ceiling had crumbled down. The sauna was good but far from the facilities we were expecting to use after a long day sightseeing. We were not made aware of this until arrival and were told each day the pool might be open the following day. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was for this so it was disappointing to not be available.

We didn’t eat breakfast, €35 per person per day seemed very expensive but we found a lovely cafe just around the corner.

Overall really nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room, impressive reception area. Only thing that let it down was the spa area. Children should not be allowed in the spa area, ok to use the pool. The spa is not a relaxing space due to children running about, people ignoring the textile free area despite being advised by the attendant, sitting in wet swimwear with no towel in the sauna, talking loudly and laughing in the spa area.

Decent, comfortable hotel in berlin but wifi signal needs improving , good choice of dining options, and well stocked breakfast, but be careful and be aware at checkin they will ask for 230 euros as a deposit , which they say you will get back when you check out , this is a ridiculous amount for any other hotel in europe !

A good quality hotel for a 4 day Berlin tourist vi

A 10 min walk from u Bahn and s bahn. Very close to Berlin zoo. A spacious and comfortable hotel with very good facilities. We took advantage of the lime e- scooters to make the journey back to the hotel easier (and fun) staying as a mother and son. The breakfast was very good, wide selection and staff helpful.

Serious guest safety concerns

During my stay, I experienced a situation that raised serious concerns about safety and security at the hotel. I left a personal item briefly unattended in the lounge area, and when I returned just a few minutes later, it was gone. Despite visible staff presence and security cameras in the area, there was no meaningful support or follow-up from the hotel team. I expected at least an effort to review footage or assist in any way, but that didn’t happen. As a guest, this made me feel extremely vulnerable and unprotected. I believe travelers should be aware that if something goes wrong, they may not receive the help or care one would reasonably expect.

2nd time staying here. Excellent hotel with modern amenities. Love the pool and spa in the basement. Mahmet at the front desk really saved the day by providing me with a universal converter free of charge. Excellent customer service and so appreciated. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

We chose the Pullman because it is on the same block as the Franziskus-Krankenhaus hospital.

Our daughter was admitted unexpectedly and so we were only able to book one day at a time. The Pullman was very accommodating with these last minute additions.

The only downside to this otherwise very nice hotel was the spotty WiFi.

Really enjoyed our six nights in the Pullman and they seemed to have taken on board my request for a nice view as our room overlooked the Tiergarten and was on the top floor. Only issue was they absolutely would not book a taxi to airport for us but they were right in saying we would get one outside. They also had our address completely wrong on the invoice and had Ireland down as 'Great Britain'!! I explained that's probably not a great way to impress Paddies like us!! But overall, lovely staff, great comfort, lovely food and we really enjoyed our nights in the bar checking out the cocktails. The maitre d' at breakfast was especially helpful and friendly. But the rest of the staff could be a bit 'softer' - smiles are never wasted on the customer! The location was great - a lovely 40 min walk though the park into the Brandenburg gate or plenty of subway and bus options. Lovely Christmas market nearby and the zoo was an unexpected treat - being across the road. Value was good too, for food and B&B and the breakfast was fab. Had 4 swims in the lovely big pool, even though sauna was out of action. But no matter, the pool in itself is worth the visit to the basement. All in all, would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!! The staff accommodated us so well. We were informed the sauna was out of use during our stay, and I had booked the hotel knowing there was a sauna. They immediately compensated us with early check in. The heating was faulty on our arrival, very cold, but, were trying to fix it immediately, and again compensated us with complimentary breakfasts ! Which were incredible I must add. The selection, attentiveness from staff was beyond anything I’ve experienced. Cannot rate this highly enough. Thank you!!!!
I had visited Pullman, Liverpool in the uk before Christmas and, again amazing. A wonderful hotel chain! You will not be disappointed.

It was a nice hotel to stay for a long weekend. The description says the rooms are sound proof but I disagree with this, the traffic noise from outside was really quite loud in our room, it woke us multiple times during our stay. Similarly the description also suggests there is a ‘pillow menu’, not sure what that is, we had a choice of a harder memory foam pillow or a soft one, that was the extent of the menu. Finally on the negative side, some areas of the hotel and the surrounding area had a sewerage smell during our stay which was quite unpleasant. Other than these negatives the room was good, a nice size with a very comfortable bed, the hotel itself had everything we needed along with the restaurant. Berlin hasn’t been our favourite for Christmas markets so we won’t be back, but our stay was a good one with the hotel in mind.

Very friendly staff. Clean room and well designed interior. One reason we booked this hotel was because the spa had such good reviews. We were informed before we arrived that the spa would reopen before our stay, then informed that if it had not reopened, we could use a neighbouring hotel spa. When we checked in we were informed that the spa would not be reopening during our stay and that the neighbouring hotel spa was fully booked - disappointing.

Property was excellent, modern and stylish.
Was in a great location for as we were close to all the locations we wanted to see.
Rooms were clean, large spacious shower & bedding was comfortable.

The Main Downfall was the lack of spa, pool or gym. Shortly before our stay, We found out these facilities had been closed since the 11th of November but we were only informed on the 26th which is a real shame. Upon emailing about this prior to our visit, we were met with no response.
We wouldn’t have been so disappointed if we were informed earlier or some sort of a ‘gesture of good will’ had been offered.

Overall, a great experience though besides the facilities and we would likely book again.

It would be nice for customers to know that they are to pay a €50 per night charge that is not included in the information after booking.

Also the pool, spa, and gym. Were all closed. Resulting in a less than expectation stay.

Beyond that, the hotel was nice and clean. Just be cautious that you wont get what you expect.

Also has one of those scammy minibar arrangements.

My first stop in Berlin didn’t start as pleasantly as I’d hoped. The hotel’s location is great, close to everything, and the room was clean, though the coffee machine didn’t work.
The front desk staff seemed to be frustrated and rude.
We paid for breakfast, and I highly recommend it—the buffet was excellent, especially at a discounted rate, the service though was poor. I’m glad I didn’t stay at Pullman for my entire trip, as I found much better service elsewhere in Germany.

Everything was great. Pool and overall wellness area was a great plus. The only issue came about at the end of the stay where they attempted to charge us for the stay even though we had paid. I was able to explain the situation and we were fine. Not sure if that was the hotel or Expedias fault but it definitely shook me for a second there thinking I had to pay more.

The lobby and spa is beautiful but the rooms are not maintained. There is no quality control. The first room I had the air conditioning didn’t work and there was black mold in the shower. The second room the air conditioning worked, apparently black mold in every shower, and now to find the shower didn’t drain and the room nearly flooded due to a shallow basin. The third room had a working air conditioner, the shower drained but still black mold in the shower. Also, when you use a glass housekeeping doesn’t give you new glasses. Why would you want to use the same glass day after day? Also there is a room service menu but no actual room service. I was told to pick it up at the bar. You can call any department on the room phone but they won’t answer. So you have to go to the front desk yourself. It is a 4 star hotel nothing higher.
