room was very different to how it was described. the bathroom was undersupplied, with no hand soap and the supposed \"luxury\" bath products being pretty bang average in quality, and also empty. we were also told there would be bathrobes, but there were none. we though \"at least we can still get 24 hour room service\" as we were told in the description of the room - and by the guy at the front desk - but when we phoned, they said they were too busy at the bar and room service was off. when we went downstairs to get some food and a drink, there was only about 2 tables with people in the whole bar and they clearly weren't busy at all, just lazy. overall very disappointed and want my money back. I booked this place for valentines day because it was advertised as fancy and romantic but it was shabby and underwhelming. if I'd known what we were gonna get, I would've just booked a hostel and probably had a better experience for about half the money.

I came with Sports Tour International for marathon. I complained about the slow tub drain daily. It was never fixed. Day 2 my room wasn't cleaned. Ihad to book an extra night because of booking error. And I didnt want to but was tired from marathon and my friends were still there. The only thing i got was free breakfast on the Monday of checkout.

the room was nice however on the property is mentioned they have AC but it doesn’t work during late may and june. I changed my room few times during my short stay due to AC issue to realize the room temperature is just set and having AC is pointless since they set it for you regardless of what temperature you like

Good lactation for what I needed. Good value money-wise. Met two staff members, one was good the other wasn’t. The room was clean and had everything I needed but the bed wasn’t really comfortable, but I know that’s subjective.

One thing that wasn’t great was they didn’t respond to a message I’d spent, via Expedia, weeks before my stay which wasn’t helpful.

Overall though, good value for what it is.

We were charged 200 pounds extra for deposit when we checked in even all hotel fees have been paid online prior to our visit. We are not aware of this extra payment before our arrival.

There is a city tax we need to pay when we checked out, about 5 pounds per night...

Disappointing stay

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience after my recent stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to see a staff member in a grey waistcoat who, despite clearly noticing us, chose to ignore us entirely. Fortunately, the reception staff were much more welcoming—friendly, helpful, and ready to answer any questions we had.

During our stay, one standout team member was the gentleman at the bar from Tunisia. He was absolutely outstanding—going above and beyond to be helpful, attentive, and kind to my family. His warmth and professionalism genuinely made a positive impact on our stay.

However, I have to mention that the condition of the rooms left much to be desired. They are extremely outdated and in serious need of a complete makeover. Additionally, there was an unsightly stain on the toilet when we arrived, which didn’t set a great tone for cleanliness. We were surprised to find that the shower gel wasn’t refilled at all during our three-day stay. Despite my requests, we had to purchase our own as it never got topped up.

All in all, while there were a few bright spots, the overall experience didn’t meet my expectations. Regrettably, I won’t be returning. I hope the management considers updating the facilities and paying more attention to detail for the comfort of future guests.

Called these people every night to ask them for a wake-up call the next day. They never did. When I spoke to them at reception, they didn’t seem to care. The room had a mini fridge with just a single bottle of water. They never replaced it. Housekeeping was terrible. Never took the rubbish out and barely changed sheets, not to mention that housekeeping took place at 4 pm, when I was already done with work and hoping to get some rest. For a brand like this, the service and quality of the rooms left too much to be desired. Very disappointing

We were generally happy with the facility and customer service. EXCEPT the quality of the air conditioning was terrible and we were horrified that the maintenance person expected us to just be happy that it was running at all instead of increasing airflow and making it produce cold air. What was really incompetent was that he then turned our AC off.

Nice hotel in Berlin, ust not great!

Business trip one night stay as our usual hotel was full. Well equiped, decent sized room, comfy bed and clean throughout. Hotel itself foyer and breakfast bar wize is a little dull and dated. Breakfast was ok, but choice was limited and of not as hifh quality compared to comparison 4-5 star hotels locally. Overall was adequate and in line with most sheraton hotels expectation wise.

I was expecting to have a room with decent shower and shower supplies. No tooth brush, no bath slippers, no water in the room( except one in the fist day) and the bed was uncomfortable, you could easily feel the spring in the bed and the noise of it.

Did not meet my expectations, I would not return.

We arrived on a Tuesday and were informed that they had no concierge until Thursday. We asked the manager to book us a walking tour. The next day he informed us that there was no walking tour until Saturday. We later found out that there were several tours daily. The carpet in our room and hallways was stained and tiles everywhere were dirty. The regular desk staff, bartenders and housekeeping were pleasant. The manager had little interest in helping us until the concierge arrived on Thursday, besides telling us, except to tell us where the tour buses were located. When the concierge arrived on Thursday, he immediately booked us a walking tour, got us admission to the Reichstag and helped us get too many locations by public transit. He recommended restaurants and jazz clubs. His name was Johannes Bannert and his help was paramount in enjoying our stay in Berlin. When I asked about the swimming pool, I was informed that it had been closed at the start of Covid and never reopened. In all other Hotles we stayed in the pools were opened even in Munich. So this was not a German policy just laziness on their part. The workout room was nice. The hotel did not live up to our accommodations in other 4 star locations in Budapest, Prague or Munich. We had trouble getting our room cool enough with the air conditioning. When the maintenance man came up he said it was fixed and that we were in Germany not the United States. Again in the other three cities room temperature was not an issue

The hotel lacked customer service delivery. Long wait times at the reception. Hotel dated and need an update.
Understaffed. No service on the patio. No waiting tables. Stuff piled up on tables but no one to clean up in a timely manner. Parking garage dark and dingy. Wait times at elevators. One worked. Light fixtures defective in our room. Overall really disappointed.

The staff responded well to our request to unclog the bathtub drain and the flickering bathroom light. Unfortunately both problems reappeared shortly after they were addressed. A vexing issue for us as non-smoker was that without fail every evening the Airconditioner carried cigarette and weed smell from some neighboring room into our room. It’s a tough problem for the hotel to resolve, but it nevertheless was a nuisance to us during our entire five nights at the hotel. The hotel is centrally located. However, the next subway is a good fifteen minute walk away. A bus station at the corner proved to be the better option for us. All said, it was an OK stay for us but there were some aspects we’d like to have done without.

The location was not as central as we had anticipated and we should have checked before booking. There were limited eating facilities /bars within walking distance although a good bus service within a short walk. We did not book breakfast beforehand as wanted to keep options open if there were cafes nearby which there were not . At check in we were not given the option to add breakfast and chose to try it on the first morning of the stay which was approx 29 euros per person and in our opinion expensive. We chose to add to our account for the remainder of the stay only for convenience at a discounted rate of 21 euros per person which is stil expensive and in our opinion not value for money. The charge is more than a steak on the evening menu ! It was our choice to have it in the hotel but it was purely for convenience and did put a dampener on our break. We had not other issues with the hotel.

I reserved a room for 3 people in January. The \"rollaway bed\" was essentially a twin size bed and very comfortable. It may have been a room designated for 3 beds. The down comforter was thin and light but VERY warm. Pillows also were made of down. The bathroom appeared relatively new and clean. All linens were clean, in great condition and without any odor. I also prepaid for breakfast. They have a good selection from smoked salmon, made-to-order omelettes, various breads and cheese, fruit salads, etc. The only negative thing is that there isn't a good selection of restaurants near the hotel. You need to walk about 15 mins for that. If you like walking and have the time then you're fine. If you know exactly where to go, then taxi would be another option.
