Friendly staff and comfortable room, not huge but big enough. Very good breakfast. Some nice touches: the coffee machine is available most of the day and there's also drinking water to take back to your room. Decoration is individual and a bit quirky.

The staff is nice. Many shops around and restaurants. It felt safe walking late night.

Great location only about a 2-3 minute walk to the U-2 Metro Station. Neighborhood has many great bars and restaurants. Staff at front desk is super welcoming and helpful. Rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms and good water pressure in the shower. Great value...and great hotel.

This is a great hotel. I loved the location, how spacious the room and bathroom are. There are a few grocery stores close by along with bars and restaurants walking distance. Metro and bus station just around the corner. It’s also not far from the touristic attractions and the airport. I’d definitely be back when in Berlin.

Lovely hotel really close to the u-Bahn station (2 minute walk). Plenty of bars are restaurants in the area too. Hotel is clean and comfortable, nice big room with en suite. Breakfast is plentiful and a sets you up for the day. We arrived early and hotel were happy to store our luggage until we were able to check in. Had an issue with being checked into the wrong room but was quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was great at the hotel except for ventilation in the room. Only one window that opened partially with no air flow, because it faced an internal courtyard. I had a hard time sleeping because of the heat. The room needs AC or at least a ceiling fan.

It’s not a luxury hotel by any stretch but it’s clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The guy at reception during the day is friendly, funny and supper helpful. I had a single room, which was small but perfectly adequate. I’d definitely stay here again.

A pleasant 4 night stay
A good value for money hotel if you are looking for a simple hotel in a quiet but convenient location. Easy walking distance to the underground and not that far from the KaDeWe on foot. Breakfast is available until 11am if you need it and not expensive. Some nice Turkish restaurants nearby, a couple of supermarkets and a discount liquor store. The Berlin welcome card is available from reception. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely use this hotel again if coming to Berlin.

The hotel is convenient to getting around the city and grocery stores. The area is away from the tourist areas so more genuine. The room was a good size. The blinds could be better to block out light. The neighborhood was a little noisy, but that's city living.

Great location for gay travellers, very close to the bars etc. The hotel staff were friendly enough and the hotel of a good standard and very clean, however I wouldn't visit the hotel again in the summer months as there is no air conditioning and the rooms are extremely hot, also if you like a dark environment like I do, you will be disappointed in the vertical blinds which let in too much light.

This is a friendly, hepful and well-run hotel. The staff were excellent. The room was adequsately sized with a modedrn ensuite bath/shower/toilet. It is well located; close to the Uban and restaurants in the Gay district.
The big problem is the smoking shelter in the central courtyard. In the very hot weather during our stay we had the option of opening the bedroom window and being cooler and suffering the tobacco smoke in the bedroom , or sweltering in the heat. There is no air con. As the hotel was full we could not be moved to an outward facing room.
Also the hotel is noisy ar night (the effects of which could be reduced by air con)

The hotel was very convenient, a short walking distance to the U-Bahn station, with several places for simple breakfast near the hotel If you choose not eat at the hotel. Front-desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and totally presentable. Our room was sizeable and comfortable. The only \"complaint\" would be the noise of people talking in the center-courtyard into the middle of the night -- probably smokers. The acoustics of the courtyard bounced off the voices clearly. That definitely affected the quality of sleep staying in this hotel, if the room faced the inner courtyard. Otherwise, it is a nice place to stay.

Good location, very close to Nollendorfplatz U Bahn station so easy access to the wide Berlin transport network. A comfortable, good sized room where everything worked. Shower rather than bath. Breakfast adequate and typical. Be aware that rooms at the front of house do not have blackout blinds so front spotlights mean room does not fully darken.

Hotel Sachsenhof is very conveniently located, just a 5 minute walk from the Nollendorf Metro and it's very easy to get to anywhere from here. It's also super close to the main shopping district. Another advantage is lots of good, varied, inexpensive eateries nearby. Hotel staff were efficient and polite. Would definitely stay here again if we are in Berlin.

I stayed at Sachsenhof on two occasions during my last visit to Germany. The hotel is very conveniently located near Nollendorfplatz Underground which has very easy connections to most of the popular places in the city. The staff is really helpful and the breakfast has a great spread. Really happy with this place!

Convenient to U-Bahn, Bus, and Restuarants/Shops
Stayed 5 nights. Very convenient location. Five minute walk to U-Bahn station (3 lines) and bus stops. If you're a walker, you can get to Potsdamer Platz, or Zoological Gardens in a leisurely 20 - 30 minute stroll. Plenty of shops, restaurants, kebob houses, supermarkets, etc. in the immediate neighborhood. It's in the middle of the gay neighborhood, but not everybody on the street was gay - plenty of mixed tourist/local couples around. The front desk Hotel staff was not that friendly or helpful. There was a rotating group of people, and I never felt like anyone really cared. The room was small but clean; two chairs and small work area. Closet with hangers. The bathroom was tiny - typical European add-on (it's an older building). The breakfast did not look fresh or attractive - and I never saw that many people in the dining area. There are plenty of bakeries all over Berlin where you can get coffee, bread, sandwiches, pastries, etc. I ended up buying a few things (juice, yogurt, water, bread, jam) on my way in at night, and had a simple breakfast in my room in the morning. There was no refrigerator, but it wasn't an issue. Very small safe in room - not suitable for laptop or iPad.

Es war wieder eine wunderbare Woche in Berlin. In erster Linie wegen den Kultur-Erlebnissen, wie Staatsoper, Wintergarten, Komische Oper, Friedrichstadtpalast und Circus.
Mit dem Hotel Sachsenhof sind wir auch wieder sehr zufrieden, da wir wieder einmal mehr unser Lieblingszimmer bekommen haben. Besten Dank!!! Wir kommen wieder.

Fijn hotel voor een paar dagen Berlijn. Gezinskamer in orde, sanitair netjes en schoon. Ontbijt was wat matig gezien de prijs. Er zijn genoeg bakkers en koffietentjes in de buurt waar je ook lekker kunt ontbijten. In de buurt twee heerlijke restaurantjes ontdekt! Metro heel dichtbij, wel een vrij drukke straat.

El hotel en general muy bien ubicado cerca del metro, limpio y comodo. Habia agua, cafe y te disponible y por las tardes hasta las 8 habia pastel de cortesia. El univo problema fue que el aensor no funciono durante toda nuestra estadía y eso si fue una molestia, sobretodo al llegar con maletas el primer dia y salir el ultimo.
