Did not like the no \"clean policy\", if we had wanted no cleaning we could have gone to a AirB&B. It was meant to be cleaned on the 3rd day, but it was not. It felt akward to ask for clean towels and for the room to be cleaned/tidied

The housekeeping was extremely limited: only clean towels and bins emptied. The sink/toilet weren't cleaned, coffee pods not replaced. I had a collection of 6 used coffee cups borrowed from reception and they weren't removed even after 3 days.

Very close to the gate district. Stafford friendly, but they charge a certain fee for storing luggage for the day if you wanna leave your luggage and just travel. Which is kind of weird I’ve never heard of that. But they do have a late checkout which I used paid for €40 extra and check out at 6 PM because my flight was 10 PM which is very convenient. I could relax and shop a little bit before the end of the day.

Great location!

The Mercure Zentrum offers spacious, well-kept, comfortable lodging jn what could just be the best lkocation in town. It's close to everything (including two S-Bahn stations) and the highly competent staff is friendly and helpful (There's also a really great bakery/restaurant juist across the street, as well as an in-house breakfast buffet.) Parking is available but I did not need it. Great place to stay in Schoneberg.

Should have told me about the lift maintenance.

I was quite disappointed to find out on arrival that the lift was out of order due to planned maintenance. Not a mention of this whilst booking or on any of the pages. To add to this I was given a room on the 5th floor and told no other floors available. Ridiculous.

I give this property an average rating. It had everything I needed and the price is fair for what I got. Very bare bones service. They are still doing the whole we dont clean your room every day because of Covid thing, which I find irritating. That’s the trend now, I guess.

Disappointing to get single beds after requesting a double one. The single beds kept separating and we nearly fell on the floor until we tied the legs together. Servicing of the room was limited unless a special request was submitted. However the room had good air con, and it was on the shady side of the hotel so out of direct sunlight. Overall quite good.

Only the location is great

This wasnt my first stay in this hotel. Location is great. The hotel itself is so so. Nothing extra. Mold in the shower that it rises the question why did i suffer with nail fungus after January stay. Provided shower gel and liquid soap empty, bathroom bin full of trash after previous guest. Asked to store a suitcase for hour or two, that is not a free service anymore. It really is getting ridiculous.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now.
It has a great location and reasonably priced.
Two small complaints; if you get the option go for the deluxe room it is nearly twice the size for a few dollars more.
The heating controls work but are complicated and only in German.

Very good hotel and excellent value for money. Situated in a quiet residential area of Berlin yet within walking distance of the centre. Room was a double one for single occupancy and adequate for that. Bathroom was very good and well equipped with one of the best showers I have experienced in any hotel! Several good restaurants nearby and good supermarket also nearby for incidental foodstuff or drinks. Would certainly stay here again.

The room I stayed in was not clean. After allowing the staff to clean it once, I had to go out and purchase my own cleaning products to do it myself. The mirrors had aeons of dust collected and hardened over them, the shower glass had layers of hardened mineral deposits (not to mention the bathroom floor was well uneven), the windows looking out on to the street were browned with handprints and filth, the bed sheets were covered in hair... it was just a totally filthy environment. I would never stay here again. There is no value in this hotel; especially when you consider how many options there are in the area.

Uncommonly unfriendly hotel in a wonderful locale.

The front desk staff here are rather unfriendly. You would expect that being a hotel, the front desk staff would be trained in the culture on hospitality. The only staff members with which I had the pleasure of communing with whilst staying here were the cleaning, maintenance, and food service staff. The front desk staff were reluctant to provide local recommendations when asked, refrained from any remotely pleasant greetings, were indifferent at check out, and the night manager was especially reluctant to provide any assistance (door entry as my key was demagnetized and felt the need to give me a lecture about the hotel’s methods, or a spare garbage bag which I required to gather my excess refuse). The night manager was an especially unpleasant individual to deal with.

Friendly check in and restaurant staff. The room was clean but furniture and toilet could be upgraded. The door for the toilet had pieces of wood falling off. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was normal, nothing special. The sausages were extremely overcooked to a point it had a \"shell\" - Other dishes were okay. 5 minutes walking distance to 2 U-Bahn stations. Street parking available around the hotel.

A nice hotel in a quiet location yet only 2 stops on the underground from great shopping and access to lots of sightseeing. My room was nice and clean and bright. Staff were helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay again.

Great location, about 5 min walk to subway and the line takes you easily to all the tourists attractions.
The hotel was in good condition and the staff were 24h and helpful, printing our boarding passes and stuff. The only negative wAs the pillows were so uncomfortable but it didn’t ruin the hotel for us, we would gladly stay again next time!
A really cute Pretzel cafe is right across the street !

On arrival we had to get our room changed as requested a room with 2 single beds were put in a room with a double bed.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. After our first night we were given no towels when the room was cleaned when we chased this up at reception we are given hand towels to dry our selfs with not happy with this we asked reception that night and was told phone reception in the morning nothing was done so forced to dry with hand towels as we needed to be ready for a day trip that morning

The rest of the trip we receive the correct size of towel.

On the plus the staff were friendly the room was spacious and clean

Well maintained hotel with helpful staff. The location is a bit of a walk from the main centre of tourist area but there is a train station only 5 mins walk away. Other restaurants and shops nearby though. The room is overall comfortable but the decor and bathroom are a bit outdated.

After 11pm, they lock the entrance. I had gone to dinner with colleagues and we were going to go to a local bar for a few drinks. I wanted to stop at the hotel and change clothes. Two colleagues were with me. The front desk asked for passports for my two guests. One had his, the other didn't, and the front desk clerk refused to let him up. Then he told me that I had a double room for single use so I could not have any guests. I was enraged after paying 80 euro just to be told I could not have guests. I told the front desk that I would like to check out with a full refund. Which he did provide me. Then I had to find a new hotel at midnight. I will never stay there again. The night may ager was very rude and unhelpful.

3 star city hotel good for a short break this hotel does not have health club, gym or pool.
Had a room on high floor very quiet apart from water pump in the morning sounds like a Motorbike engine. Bed comfy but square pillows. Shower room very nice but water pressure was slow very slow. Tea coffee good but stingey with coffee bags and no milk for tea creamer dosnt work. Did nt have breakfast so can't comment on breagyy

Rooms are a little on the small side, but good enough for a few nights.
Breakfast's seemed a little dis-organised, with too few staff looking after too many customers. Other than that, it's a good hotel, clean, quiet, well-maintained hotel in a great location. I've stayed here before, and will probably do so again.

Good Stuff: location, super friendly staff, clean rooms.
Improvements: Hotel decor and rooms looks from 80's need refreshment, two single beds pushed together - rather than comfy double bed. Huge huge factor in summer - NO AC!!! Berlin is hot and stuffy in summer you need AC believe me I'm from South Africa!! Windows face on noisy street so option to sleep with window open for a breeze is a no. For the price hotel was ok but do shop around there are tons of hotels in area if you can pay the same or slightly more go for another hotel - This was a late booking for me and I picked this hotel because of price - normally stay at Axel or Quentin Design hotel both was full during my dates.

The hotel is fine, has everything you need and is very clean. My only issue was the constant noise from the room above which sounded like constant movement of furniture... Shane the rooms aren't carpeted for this reason

We stayed for 4 days in September, the hotel is in a quiet location, nearer to the gay bars, and the shopping areas- Kadewe department store is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Transport links to the whole of Berlin are good to/ from this hotel. Checking in was good, and receptionist did their job well, they had good advise on transport ,tourist attractions and nearby restaurants etc. The room was clean and of a decent size.check out was quick

I had a superior room which was modern and spotlessly clean. It was of good size and located at the rear of the building, northfacing so did not get too hot. (No airconditioning but OK with the window open.) However I found the duvet too hot overnight. The location of the hotel is very good - not far to walk to the U-Bahn and plenty of shops and restaurants in the local neighbourhood. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall - well recommended.

Comfortable and affordable hotel. Handy for attractions in the west of the city and 40 minutes walk from Potsdamer Platz. Nice quiet area and numerous restaurants around as well. The hotel was clean, rooms were turned around quickly every day, lovely walk in shower.

If you're used to particle board and laminates, you won't notice or appreciate the REAL crafted wood in the rooms. bathroom has great tiles, walk in shower.
