Great location, clean room and quite big. I was happy with my stay and I don't have any particular complains for the facilities. The checkout was at 11am and the room cleaner kept knocking on my door from 9:45 to ask me what time I am planing to leave. It just stressed me out a bit. I understand that they want to plan their day but no reason to keep knocking on people's door. Other than that everything was great.

The breakfast buffet was great. I feel like it would satisfy many different tastes and preferences.
I did not expect the lack of ventilation in the room. It was very stuffy. I asked about that and was told by the desk attendant that there was a fan in the room. There was not. Was told that one would be put in the room, but it never happened.

Hotel Lützow was a near-perfect location to wrap up my daughter's and my two-week road trip in central-Europe. It is a ten-minute walk from a Sixt rental return location, fifteen minutes from dining and shopping options, one or two blocks from Bus 200 (runs every fifteen minutes) to go to central Berlin, has a wonderful bakery just around the corner, and a Steinway piano store next door.

We found street parking in front of the hotel so we could check in and drop off our luggage before turning in our rental car. The front desk clerk was very helpful with information for where to go for dinner and how to get to the airport using a bus and the airport express train when we departed.

The room was clean and comfortable, with more space being made available by a bunkbed rather than two twin/single beds. My daughter called dibs on the upper bunk.

Many thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Good offer for adorable price

Very quiet hotel and cosy room… even during the huge festival in the neighborhood. Nice staff, friendly service, comfortable bed. Cooking kit is provided. No AC, but it wasn’t hot. Very close to famous park, department store and other tourist and party locations.

An OK hotel in need of maintenance and cleaning.

The hotel is OK, and so it's the room.
It could do with a bit of maintenance, as I had to fix / re-attached the shower screen plastic items on the side as those parts were out of place.
The toilet was smelly and in need of having some toilet gel put in it or even better some bleach.
The trash bin was also kind of dismounted and I had to put it together.
An OK hotel in need of maintenance and better cleaning.

Definitely not a 3-star stay. Greeted by a rude receptionist when we arrived. Had several parts of the bathroom fall apart while in use. The bunk beds appeared to have been built from a cheap flat-pack, and the mattresses were hard. It was incredibly hot, with only one desk fan available for the room which appeared to be filled with rubbish somehow.

Don't always believe the pictures

Pictures on hotels.com show well decorated rooms. The family room in contrast is austere and prison like in design. It also included a visibly stained futon.

Location is not bad, access to public transport is easy, kinda modern rooms …… buuut the showers need to be fixed ASAP it’s basically the only downside of it: doors don’t close properly and they fall on you if you’re not careful enough; however, it doesn’t end there, hot water is barely present, they change to a different room after the first night because there wasn’t any pressure for hot water (and apparently they knew about it but still put me on that room) the second room had pretty much the same issue with the shower doors but at least there was a little bit more of hot water. Bottom line is not a bad hotel but be extra careful and check the shower as soon as you step in to your room. No complains about the staff or cleanliness of the rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was so cute and the area was very quiet but well connected. We utilized the public transportation which was within walking distance.
The staff was very helpful. They kept our bags before and after check-out. The breakfast buffet also looked very nice though we did not have it.

We had a lovely time here, the staff were super kinda and spoke good English so it was easy to get by it was a comfortable stay especially for the affordable price and to be an hours walk or a 10 min uber from the centre was brilliant they are LGBTQ friendly and the surrounding area has some wonderful gay bars so I highly recommend them for comfortable and affordable accommodation!!!

This is a 3 star hôtel. The Hôtel is ok. Great staff, polite and provide good service. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but of good quality. This is an older hôtel. The Courtyard should be cleaned Up. Alot of garbages are présent in the yard.

We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Ludzow. The staff was most helpful and the room service / cleaning was excellent and available upon request. The bed was comfortable and the room though not big met our needs fully. We enjoyed our Kitchenette which included an induction \"hot plate\" upon request. The location of the Hotel is excellent with an easy walk to the Tiergarten Park, dining / shopping options and public transportation. We recommend the Hotel Ludzow for a good value in a quality establishment.

Fantastisk hotel med rigtig god beliggenhed. Rigtig gode værelser, med køleskab, mikroovn og elkedel. Der var stille og roligt omkring hotellet. Morgenmaden var alle pengene vær. Alt hvad hjertet kunne begære. Rigtig god kaffe og da vi spurgte efter glutenfri brød, var dette også en mulighed. Personalet på hotellet var alle søde og imødekommende. Dertil kunne vi parkere vores bil i hotellets parkeringskælder og gå rundt til alle seværdigheder. Vi var afsted 2 voksne og 2 børn. Rigtig godt hotel til prisen. Stor anbefaling. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Good deal for the price! Highly central location, and also located in a quiet spot. Rooms are clean but a bit small. There is only one elevator and it fits two people at a time. Someone in a wheelchair or with disabilties, or a larger person might struggle navigating the elevator.

If you have a room with a kitchenette you can request a stove, flatware and cooking utensils. The beds are rather firm and the pillows are very thin and do not have support. Water gets very hot, which i enjoyed but I found the shower temp to fluctuate mid shower and got scalded a couple of times.

The building was quiet, though the surrounding area is under construction. You can expect to hear construction noise early in the morning.

I booked the family room. Absolutely horrid, beds are knackered. Pillows horrid. Couch filthy. Heating rubbish. Bathroom tiny. Electrical sockets duct taped over bunk bed which was stupidly high. Extractor fan broken. Hardly any plug sockets. Basically a dump. Complained and asked to move to one of their refurbished rooms and got charged extra! Those new rooms were fine. If you aren’t staying in one of the newly refurbished rooms don’t bother. I messaged ahead to check that there would be a kettle in my room. They said yes. There was not. The staff were all very nice except one man who I think was the boss. Had a go at me for making a coffee after standing outside with my baby for 45 mins in the freezing cold because their fire alarm went off. Even though the other man told me to help myself.

Very poor so called hotel? More like a bad hostel.

Rooms had a bad stench of sewage throughout our stay.

House keeping visited our room once in 5 days never cleaned anything emptied bin and that's it? The toilet was a dirty colour and has never seen any form of bleach.

We booked for 7 nights but left after 5 due to the smell and a jack hammer drilling from 8am every morning and when I complained to the manager his reply was builders in Berlin start work at 7:30am but our builders start at 8am if that makes it acceptable.

We had breakfast at the hotel twice the first time the toaster was broken and reported it, the second time toaster still not working and waitress replied not working and shrugged her shoulders.

There was no bar or public seating areas.

We left the hotel 2 days early and booked the premier inn down the road and would definitely not be staying at this hotel again and will be contacting Hotels.com for an explanation as to why they allow such a poor hotel to be listed on their platform.

This is not a hotel it is a hostel. I complained from day one about the room. It stank due to faulty drainage, and there was building work both inside and outside the building. There was no tea or coffee facility in the room and extremely little TV, it was all in German.

Was disappointed by the state of the hotel- our shower drain never worked, meaning we had to have 3 min showers or less before it overflowed. Our towels and sheets were made when staff came in but our dishes/dirty glasses lay in the sink all week... while the hotel does not supply dish soap in the room, why werent these replaced?
On a positive note, the location is fantastic. Lots of great cafes, resto, shopping etc within a walking distance plus it was very easy to catch a RE, S-Bahn or Ubahn from Zoo.

A quaint little hotel room wonderfully located near the main parts of the city. It had a wonderful breakfast buffet for €14 The staff was wonderful. Another positive is they held your luggage after checkout so we could enjoy the city without toting our luggage everywhere.

Carpet was stained & worn.
Bed horrendously uncomfortable & against the wall so if your on inside unlucky.
The shower was nice & hot but the cubicle was falling apart & closing the doors was an exercise in itself.
Breakfast was overpriced in my opinion but nice enough but theres plenty of alternatives near by.
My advice would be to shop around for a better hotel not listed on the major sites, you'll find better for cheaper price

Great hotel with sink basin/stove kitchenette. Clean, orderly, all amenities present, including a small oscillating fan and of course, a kettle and fridge. Bathroom and linens were clean and fresh. Deducted one star for the shared street construction mess (and obnoxious noises) as it was not disclosed about the property at time of booking. Lovely breakfast spread and dining area. Nice outdoor area for sitting.

If you need somewhere basic and cheap to stay, this is fairly convenient as there are several bus stops nearby, a U-Bahn a short walk away, the Zoo is 10 minutes walk and there's a cheap supermarket and takeout places too. The room itself looked nothing like what was advertised, felt dirty and the pillows were awful. Would stay again but only in a pinch.

Looking for another star?

The whole place was invaded with (outdoors) smokers and loud drinkers. The noise levels and the second hand smoke would come into the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly otherwise.
There was a kitchenette possibly for breakfast but no pans and dishes to use it.
