I scecifically booked this hotel because it says in your posting that it has a gym. Apparently the gym is not in the hotel, but people need to go outside and walk for about 5-10 minutes to use a publc gym. The whole point was that I can go with sports wear and a keycard and thats it. And NOT to go out. So very unhappy.

I loved this hotel. It's tucked away into a small side street just off the main street, which does wonders in cutting down the noise. I also didn't realize when booking that this hotel is in the middle of a major shopping hub, which was a nice surprise. The initial reason I chose this hotel was because it was a few feet away from a U-Bahn stop, which made getting around Berlin sooooo much easier for me! The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were very clean and well-kept, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. If I stay in Berlin again, I'm going to remember this place!

Good and excellent location.

Generally very good, excellent location and friendly staff. Only oddity was the bathroom in our \"upgraded\" room. This had the toilet to one side of the sleeping area, with the shower and basin in another space on the opposite side of the room. After using the toilet one needed to walk through the bedroom to wash one's hands.

The hotel is at a central location, where there are many high-rated restaurants and bars. The Italian restaurants on the cross street and the jazz bar called the Hat on the left side of the hotel, where you can listen to live jazz bands every night, are amazing. The rooms are cleqn and the staff are super-friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel said that there is a cooperation with a 3 minutes walk gym . Opening time 6:00 am
I woke up at 5 just to discover the armband doesn’t open the gym and had to go back to the hotel to receive another
Upon arrival to the gym it didn’t work and I had to wait outside until the trainer came at 7:05 to let me in !
And he said the open time is at 6 but he starts at 7 and the hotel staff should have known that !

On top of it
My dad is disabled person the room we were given was the last one on the floor

On top toilet we’re not clean by housekeeping

They need to do better

The hotel says they have a gym, but this is false advertising. The hotel only actually offers access to a gym 300m away. The air conditioning was malfunctioning and wouldn’t stay off - so room was freezing cold overnight. I had to ask the staff twice to fix it. They charged me for 4 people for breakfast even though there were only 3 of us - and required me to intervene to change the bill. Very mediocre for a place that is fairly expensive - apparently because of the location.

This hotel is in a very busy area with plenty of restaurants, shops and entertainment. Transportation is nearby including buses, subway. Hop on Hop off bus is right outside.

I had an inside room so outside noise was not a problem. I had a room with a single bed, small desk and chair and bathroom with walk in shower. The room was small and there was no where to sit and read. The minibar was complementary. I would book this place again but would upgrade to a bigger room.

First of all the location is great, there is a U station 1 minute from the hotel, plus many buses are close by. A main train station is about 6-8 minutes walk and it was so easy getting anywhere in Berlin with public transportation.
There are many restaurants in the area and lots of shopping options including a supermarket open until late , around 11:00 p m .
The staff all were friendly and helpful.
I do have 2 minor issues, one is there wasn't a door to the bathroom, I was staying alone so it didn't bother me but if you are staying with another person and this can be issue try to check about other rooms, maybe they do have a door. There was a door to the toilet area.
The second thing was the curtains in my room, there was a small gap in between them so light got to the room while I was sleeping. I'm a light sleeper with ot without light so I don't know if I can blame the curtains for my early wake up time in the morning. They did try to fix it and after the first night it wasn't as bad.

Wirklich sehr gut!!!

Auch hier wurde sehr zuvorkommend bedient.
Das Hotel entsprach meinen Erwartungen und ist von der Lage am Ku’damm gut mit S- Bahn oder Bus sehr bequem zu erreichen.

I had a great stay. The room was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and responsible. The breakfast was great and I recommend. Very close to KaDeWe for anything you might need. Close to the train/bus station. Berlin is large and so it’s good to know how to get around on public transport. Also they hotel can get you a taxi at the push of a button in two minutes. The large bathtub was much needed after days of walking and site seeing. Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable.

The bathroom doesn’t have any privacy. The door is transparent crystal this is inconvenient when traveling with your relatives. We had to ask them to leave the room while the other gets a shower. 🙁

Other than that, location and service is excellent. The breakfast bufet is great! 😀

I liked the location. Nice neigbourhood. Full of activity and things to do and places to go. I did not like many things. Among them: tried to charge me twice, blocked my card the 1st day but then tried to charge it again the next day, the check out day, without unblocking or getting paid with the firstly blocked amount. Hadn't I blocked that second charge, I would have been charge twice. Too bad! Now I need to use my credit card but due to this I can't use it. The night shift service people are not kind. There are more issues but I'll focus on these two.

Hotel is perfectly situated for transport into town using both U-Bahn and S-Bahn within short walking distance.
Very helpful reception staff eventhough my German is lacking. Clean room and very comfortable bed. I skipped room cleaning and enjoyed a free minibar instead.
The morning breakfast buffet was worth the extra cost and the staff there were very friendly.
The stay was during covid and the 2G regulations were enforced well.
Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from.

Overrated - closer to a 3 star hotelthan a 4 star

This IS NOT a 4-star hotel. If I’m being nice, it’d be a 3.5 star one, and if I’m being not nice it’s 3 star.

The good: quiet room, free minibar drinks (if forgoing daily maid service)
The bad: 2 tiny elevators full of anti-vaxxers who don’t like sharing tiny spaces, one of which was busted half my time there. And the location - avoid it. There are no straight lines on the Germany subway line - it takes 45 minutes to get anywhere like the Reichstag, offsetting the convenience of having a line right by the hotel. And no concierge, and front desk personnel who don’t know the area (“where can I get a bite to eat?” “…walk in that direction (pointing).”

We loved the location of this hotel, very close to metro and the zoo. Lots of shopping, restaurants and bars around. The hotel is pretty modern. It was nice that they gave the option of no room service, you get the mini bar for free (we stayed 3 night so this was an easy decision). It also had the bathroom and shower seperate which provides convenience. Bed was reasonably comfortable but weve had better. Shower had excellent flow and the hotel was very clean.

OK for a weekend away!

Well located hotel in the heart of Schöneberg near zoo station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good not too busy. The cleaning in the shower lacked attention to detail and there were a few stains on the carpet, otherwise it was a good place to stay. This hotel chain normally has very high cleaning standards so a little surprised by this hotel.

Business room was small. No telephone in room, if you needed to talk with reception you had to go personally. Air conditioning did not properly function. It was a central system and we could not switch it off. No possibility to full open the windows. In Coronavirus time, with a central air conditioning system and without being able to open the windows is not an experience we would like to repeat. Location was very good.

Very unpleasant experience with the vending machine in hotel's lobby. Accepts only credit cards, takes large deposit without warning (returned after 24 hours), double charged me. Reception staff tried to help me resolve issue with independent operator of the machine but to no avail...

Very friendly reception staff, comfortable corner room and very quiet at night. I booked my Mum into a room here and she was delighted - her second stay at Lindner Ku'damm and she wants to come back already!

The location is ideal for visiting the city, especially if travelling from Tegel, less than 30mins away by bus.

READ!!! Not recommended at all. Some staff are really rude. Hotel charged me 50 Euros claiming I plaid with the fire alarm!!!!!!!!!!! Why would I do that!!!!!! One staff who said I “broke” the fire alarm started yelling and shouting at me. I felt really unsafe and that he might do something stupid to me. Very poor experience that made me dislike Germany altogether.
