Business type hotel in West End of Berlin

Business type hotel close to Zoo Station and west end of Berlin. Not now the most fashionable part of Berlin but very good for restaurants cafes and a relaxed feel and good for transport links.
Room and attached bathroom clean looking and comfortable. Very good WiFi, some English channels on the TV including a film channel.
Very good buffet breakfast with lots of fruit etc and hot options to order. A friendly atmosphere. Around Savigny Plaz there are lots of affordable restaurants and cafes.
The Hardenburg cafe a short walk is very nice too.
Kurfürstendamm a west end shopping street is easily reachable. As well as underground’s and S bahns and trains buses are very useful.

Book this hotel - you won’t regret it!

Book this hotel! Everything was exactly as described! The hotel offered all you would need for a stay in Berlin. The staff was extremely friendly and well equipped to answer any questions. I appreciated how the hotel doors locked during the night as the train station nearest to the hotel is not the best in the city. The shower water pressure was also fantastic!! Amazing overall - would stay again and recommend to others.

The hotel and staff were lovely. I was not very keen on the area though as there was little to do - altho’ you could walk to the river (rather dark at night so I wouldn’t want to do alone). I maybe should have researched the area a bit more.

Friendly welcome. Nice comfortable room, kept very clean.
Position is quite good near to Zoo the Ku dam and Stein Platz. Good WiFi and English Tv options. Coffee Maker. Very good breakfast with extensive buffet and hot options.
Only negative comment the free water could have been included every day not just the first.

It's a no brainer.

- great location near Kudamm / Zoologischer Garten, easy to reach by train from the BER airport
- very clean and safe feeling hotel
- very fair prices

But the best...

Fantastic friendly and helpful people who work there.

We where so happy that we found the hotel for a reasonable price, as we enjoyed the stay very much.

The staff is extremely friendly - I mean it feels just like really natural friendly.

The breakfast provided a great start for the day and the room was just offering what we where looking for.

No doubt we will stay here again.

Hotel is in a great location. Rooms very clean but a little on the small side. We were a group of 18 and check in was terrible despite me contacting the hotel several times to confirm the 10 rooms booked there was still a lot of confusion and rooms not on the system on check in. Advertise all day room service but when I called at 2pm I was told she couldn’t find the chef. Hotel is very nice and contemporary and in a good location but the service is not great

We had a wonderful stay this weekend. The hotel had changed our rooms so that we had connecting doors between our room and our daughter’s. The receptionists couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was lovely, with some great extra touches. The breakfast was a lovely continental selection...my only complaint was there was no English breakfast tea!

Indigo sort of say new generation of hotels - modern smart industrial design, new very optimized features, new generation of stuff, they are friendly, trying to address any of your wish and desires in the best way. As far as this particular location, then you are on the middle of everything, best shopping, museums, zoo, train station and very clean and safe neighborhood! On top of it for the money you'll pay there you can only buy burger in some other EU cities, not even mention Copenhagen))

There are many wonderful things about this hotel. It may be the favorite place we ever stayed. Most obvious is location -- 1/4 mile from Zoogarten train station -- with trains and buses to everywhere in Berlin and beyond. Wonderful public transportation.

The included breakfast was excellent (be sure to include it because it's about $ 20/person if you don't.

An amazing amenity is they give you a cell phone (with free international calling and data) to use throughout your stay. It's right in your room. Through Expedia we paid about $ 125/night including 2 breakfasts.

I generally prefer older places but the modern architecture works really well here.

Stay here, you'll be glad you did.

Would recommend this hotel very high, staff were exceptional, only to happy to help. Only one downside, the breakfast:-
No boiled egg cups, only one juice, cold breakfast was fine, fried eggs were excellent, bacon was poor.
Excessive time for cooked breakfast to be served.

This hotel is very clean, beautifully appointed and the reception staff extremely helpful.

However with no in-house restaurant for lunch or dinner, ( you have to go out for food unless you want to order from an italian take-away menu) an average breakfast with no fresh decaffeinated coffee (only instant) available, no public rooms apart from the breakfast room with a small seating area in the corner which serves as a bar (no one around when we went in for an evening drink), this is basically a nice bed and breakfast hotel. Nothing more. Not what we expected when we booked a 4/5 star hotel and, for us, not good value for money.

Lovely hotel, small rooms so if you need space this may not be for you but for us it was perfectly sized. Close to the train and underground stations so easy to get around, but it was further out of the action than I was expecting so a lot of time spend on transport (or take bikes, it's a great city to cycle around). Really good value for money, great little places a short walk away to eat and drink (highly recommend '1900 Cafe' for brunch and jazz bar 'The Hat' for cocktails). Comfortable beds, great shower and really quiet (felt like the only people staying there in height of season!) Staff always welcoming with a smile which was lovely- overall, we really enjoyed our stay

We arrived at the hotel around midnight. The receptionist was very nice, check-in did not take a very long time, which is great when you arrive so late. The room is great, except its a bit too crammed into a smaller space, but the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is great too. The only unfortunate thing are the bathroom doors, I really do not understand whose idea it was to put sliding doors onto a bathroom that you cannot lock and if you put it in the middle, you can see the room through cracks next to the door, because it just slides left and right without covering your viewpoint, its just a bit strange to be sitting on the toilet and be able to see the closet in the hallway at the same time or the bed where the other person you are with is trying to scroll through Facebook on their phone.

3 day stay in a perfect location. Close to the Ku'damm main shopping area, the zoo, the best Xmas market and KaDeWe. Main bus depot 500m away. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent buffet breakfast, reasonably priced restaurant. Good sized room, comfy bed (even if it was 2singles pushed together). Best/hottest shower ever. Thoroughly recommended.

I booked this hotel for a short trip with my wife after we had had a very pleasant stay in the Hotel Indigo in Helsinki. Unfortunately this one isn't quite as good - the decor was a little tired, the rooms a little squashed and it's not in the most exciting location. It wasn't terrible by any means, but with so many options in Berlin (including some better ones nearby at which I have stayed on business trips) I wouldn't stay here again.

A nice hotel but it lets itself down on the details.
There were no robes in the room - we had to ask. Then they were removed the day before we left so we got up on the last morning to find them gone. The Tassimo is a good idea but was not replenished on our last day. We began to wonder if they were already planning for the next occupant.
Overall we found the atmosphere a bit cold. The bar was mostly dead and had a clinical atmosphere. It was usually empty and so was the restaurant. Because of that we didn't eat there at all and only tended to go in for a nightcap. We were the only people there. The bar itself had a clinical look about it, there were usually no bottles on display,so you needed to know what you wanted.
The killer for me was the draft beer - CARLSEBERG - in Berlin? I don't drink that in the UK and Berlin has at least one very good brewery. They may have had alternative bottled beers but who could know with everything hidden in cupboards?
If you decide to stay at Indigo go next door to 'Franke' or just up the road to 'Filmbunhe'. Both have very friendly staff, excellent food, good German beer and great prices.

Lovely hotel, super clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms had comfortable beds and in traditional European fashion are two singles pushed together with separate quilts, air-con, room safe, fantastic & easy to work rain shower, nice toiletries and a Tassimo machine for tea and coffee.

I've stayed in Indigo hotels before and they're always really fab and this one is no different, great value for money and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a convenient location, just 5 minute walk from Zoologische Garten station and a quick S-Bahn/U-Bahn ride to all the major sightseeing destinations in Berlin. It's also a short walk from the Tiergarten and you can wander through right up to the Brandenburg gate and Reichstag. The hotel is also a short distance from all the retail therapy you can handle on the Ku'dam and there are plenty of places to eat in nearby Savigny Platz.

Week-long trip in Berlin

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is about 5 mins walk to the subway station and the bus hub. You can go to any place in the city easily. On the way to the subway, there is a big supermarket. There are also several restaurants nearby.

The decoration of the room looks new and pleasant. The price is reasonable. It is a good choice for people who will spend whole day exploring the city.

Lush Hotel, near centre on Ku'Damm

My partner and I had a lovely 5 day getaway, managed to not only relax but enjoy almost every thing Berlin has to offer. Ku'damm had a buzzing atmosphere, great little restaurants such as The Schildkrote, a traditional German restaurant just off the main shopping strip. The staff at the hotel were friendly, spoke fluent English AND German and were happy to help us buy travel tickets and give us advice on the local area. The train station was very close making travel around Berlin a lot easier, there was also a straight train to and from Schonelfeld Airport. Be sure to explore side streets, we found lots of little gems such as an architecturally beautiful aviary and subtle artistic graffiti. If you have limited time, be sure to go on the boat tour around Berlin, from near the Charlottenburg palace. Costs €19 and only takes 3 hours to see some of the more important landmarks in Berlin.

It was a really lovely hotel and so central! Found it really easy to get around the city from the u bahn and s bahn station that was a few minutes from the hotel. So many amazing places were within walking distance too. It was also very clean and quiet.

Great hotel

Stayed for 3 nights and throughly enjoyed our visit to Berlin and the Hotel Indigo Ku'damm. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the room extremely clean and comfortable. The "rainfall" shower was amazing! Good location and would not hesitate to stop at this hotel again.

More than fine hotel, nice stylish rooms, very quiet, good breakfast, very central location with perfect public transport connections.
