Diane and the staff were v helpful. If you’re used to traveling in Europe and know how to navigate a city this location can’t be beat. It is close to three different u-bahn stops and the major bus lines - and yet it’s still quiet. Highly recommend.

I stayed for 5 nights, with wife and 2 kids.
The apartment is family friend, in a nice area of the city, safe and with a pleasant walkable distance to groceries, cafe shops, restaurants, and many attractions.
The entrance to Kurfürstendamm underground station is just across the street.
Also, easy communication with the property managers.
Recommended.

The location advertised on Expedia (central, near the zoo) does not match the location of 2 bed apartments (4 metro stops from the zoo, not central). The apartment was also much too hot especially at night even visiting in spring.

Property itself was great, despite the very uncomfortable sofa bed. The area was excellent for public transport links and shops etc, however the all-night nightclub along the street resulted in little or no sleep every night. Would stay here again but with earplugs!

Great location and amenities

This accommodation is in an excellent location. The apts had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. Staff are very pleasant. Wifi works well. While centrally located it is quite at nightime making for a good nights sleep and as a solo traveller I felt happy walking to the apts at night. There is a Lidl and local shop close by for those comfort purchases.

Great apartment ,however staffs need improvements

Asking for the toilet roll directly to the housekeepers for 2 times, each time the reply was “ i will deliver it to your room!” (We asked with a gap of 20 minutes each) in fact until we checked out no one deliver the toilet roll to our room. Ended up buying because we had enough asking.
Its a very nice apartment, great location but not recommended if you planning to book during summer as there is no air conditioning at all, only 2 small fans

Strategic location. Loud at night due to the nightclub nearby. Nice room. Friendly front desk. However, the whole week we stayed, they didn’t clean the floor, only did the bed. We have to ask for laundry detergent everyday to get it. Sometimes the coffee and sugar is not refilled either.

Apartment was beautiful, beds were comfortable and the apartment was very clean.
The address of where we had to check in was not the same place we stayed. Once we checked in had to walk more than half a mile to our actual apartment which was not convenient. Trains were easy to use and get us around town.

Be careful of what room you get

Stayed for two nights, first night put in a room half the size of others at same price. complained and was told the hotel was fully booked that night and could change rooms next day. Did change rooms and was very satisfied but hotel should not charge the same price for a room that was no where near the size of others.Room was quiet and would stay again but would insist on a room not ending in 01, as those ones lose half the space for a fire escape.

Check what room you are getting

First night given,what could only be described as a half room.very compact,nowhere to put suitcase bed cramped.should not have been let at the Same price as other rooms.second night more spacious room.Close to main shopping street ,transport and restaurants within easy walking distance.Would stay there again but make sure I was not given a room that ends in 01.as are they not only smaller ,they are next to the elevator.

The apartments had no AC. They did have a fan. The fan was loud and noisy and not enough to cool down both beds. We were extremely hot all night. there was no staff on duty at night so the first night we couldn't use the internet as it was down.

Great location on southwest side of center, close to transportation and shopping. Apartment had everything we needed: kitchen, washing machine. staff was helpful. Are flight arrived an hour early and they were able to let us into our unit an hour early - with was a great help since we were traveling with kids.

Very handy for transport, lots of good eateries nearby ( we managed good german food at two, excellent vietnamese and good indian during our four nights). Negative was the bed linens very itchy so much so thatvwe needed antihystamine tablets to calm the reaction enough to sleep.

This apartment was spacious and clean. There were plenty more of room for my family of five. The bedding was clean and plenty of towels. It was also services daily. Its connected to a shopping center with Edeka and restaurants near by. The U-Bahn was right across the street for easy commute into the heart of the city. Couple things to note are, it’s three blocks from the front desk/ Office. Also, we could not check in 30 mins early. The parking is Apcoa parking. I did not see in and out privilege. But if you go out only once a day, you don’t incur anymore cost than the max 13 Euros. There were decent amount of street noise during morning rush hours. Overall, we liked the place and I would stay here if we were to visit Berlin as a family again.

We enjoyed Berlin and the apartment was lovely, perhaps a little further out than we would have liked but it’s so close to the u-bahn and train station that it wasn’t an issue. The apartment was quiet, clean and warm and the only thing I can think of that would have helped is a small draining board for after washing the dishes.

I booked this place because it had washing machines in the apartments. We were given the one room that no longer had a machine. They didn't have another room to switch us to, but they did wash and dry our clothes at no cost. I didn't feel I could ask them to sort the clothes, so some white items came back grey, do to something running. Over all its not a bad hotel, but its not great. Definitely cheaper than other places you can stay. It had a kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. But it is studio apartments are very small.

We stayed in the separate apartment block, down the road from the main reception on Bundesallee 203. The location is good as the nearest U-Bahn station is just 200m away, and there are 3 supermarkets right next door.

The apartment was spacious with 2 double bedrooms, a good sized bathroom, open plan living room / dining area, and well equipped kitchen. One of the sofas could be made into a third double bed if needed.

There was a good quality TV with lots of German satellite / cable channels. However, we could only find one English language channel that worked, which was a little disappointing.

Lastly, please note that as of Oct18, the space the rear of the building (which our apartment faced) is a massive building site. This didn’t bother us as we were out all day. But the noise might bother some if you are planning on staying in during the daytime.

This was an amazing find. Recommended 100%. We got the large family apartment. We were four adults and 2 kids. The apartment was roomy, clean, efficient and modern. PLENTY of space for a traveling family with big bags and a stroller. Wi-Fi worked great too. The building was located in a different building down the road from the check in office though, but they provide free taxi service going in (not checking out). We got into Berlin early in the morning so they didn’t give us the apartment when we showed up, but they held our bags for us until we came back in the afternoon. Metro stations are close by, and from there you can easily explore Berlin. Cleaning service was great. Apartment has a kitchen with all amenities so you can stock up on food, drinks, etc… super convenient. Compared with the high average price of hotels in the city, it is also a great value. Next time in Berlin we’re definitely considering the AMC apartments again.

The location of the apartment was great. The layout and amenities suited out needs during the Berlin Marathon. It was convenient to everything and/or public transportation. Better on the inside than out

This apartment grows on you. It looks like it is an old eastern block of flats, Orange in colour basic entrance hall with lift and stairs, lights are on a timer so this adds to the feels. Once inside the apartment it has everything you need, tv fridge/freezer microwave, hob, coffee maker, toaster. Free wi-fi and a washing machine with complimentary tablets, also washing up liquid and sponge etc. It was very hot when we stayed and there is no air conditioning but they did provide a fan. There is also building work going on at the back of the property and the builders like to start early but this was our early morning wake up call and we were out most of the day discovering the sights. There is a supermarket right by in a little shopping centre which also houses the car park. There is also a no e little bar on the main road past the Shell garage. The metro is minutes from the door.

We had a great time—could park our car for a few days in garage next door. Close to subway stops and walking distance to Tiergarten and other shops. Next to grocery store. Well stocked kitchen. It was clean, roomy and sunny. We were there on hottest days of decades so a little warm without a/c....but it was that way for everyone in Berlin :)

Perfect, central, convenience - we loved the place

Very central area. Close to bus stop and short walk from one of the main streets in Berlin, underground, shops, some main attractions - basically close to everything :-)
The receptionists were ALL friendly and helpful. Quick check-in and out.
The apartment is perfect for 4 of us. Bigger than what we had imagined actually, new, beautiful and great conditions. Everything was all clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was big. Many TV channels to choose from. Modern door bells.
We loved the place and will definitely book there again next time we are in Berlin.

Too hot! We were in apartment 13, which faces the sun all day. It was a regular 32 degrees outside during our stay; even leaving the curtains closed all day made little difference and it was too hot indoors, making us grumpy. If possible, if we went back in a warm season I would request a flat with an even number.

The apartment itself is not where you think, after check in you have to get a taxi (only a few mins) to the apartment block..

There is an Aldi very close by, which was very convenient, as was a U-bahn station.

The apartment had 2x dishwasher and 2x laundry tablets, which was a nice touch and much appreciated. It would have been nice for there to have been more tea towels and things like cling film and foil provided..

Very near local underground. Great location with Lidl nearby. Great service on reception desk. Rooms had a double sofa bed and double bed so we did have to at an extra $15 euros a night for an extra bed so two teenagers didn't have to sleep together. Would stay again. Rooms did get hot at night. There was no air con but a noisy fan provided so summer heat could be an issue but OK in early April. One bottle of water provided each day and coffee pods. Excellent cleaners in room. Washing machine in bathroom but no tumble drier but drying rack dried clothes overnight. Comfort rooms (no microwave, 4 people in the one room) in the main block. Apartments with separate bedrooms in separate location.

Great apartment once we found it.

Instructions for collecting key out of hours was very vague. Went to apartment block to collect keys from the 2nd floor key box only to find we had to go to the 2nd floor of the main office block, 700m away, for the key. Once in the apartment it was clean, spacious and kitchen was well stocked with crockery , cutlery and pans. Disappointed no microwave but managed. Supermarkets were close by but only a couple of restaurants close. Overall good location.

Location was good, reception staff were good but we didn't have much to do with them. Apartment was clean and well equipped but was not quite as large or as well furnished as I was expecting from the pictures. Also, it smelled strongly of curry! We had to keep windows open as it was too hot at night. It was nice and quiet though and I was impressed that it included a washing machine. Great that we could choose whether to have cleaner coming in or not. Overall it suited our purposes well.

My family enjoyed our stay at AMC Apartments.

The location was great. It's close to a train station, there were plenty of reataraunts, cafes and a grocery store nearby.

The room was clean and comfortable. The small kitchen was exactly what we needed to prepare breakfast and packed lunches. The beds were comfy. We were hot in the evenings though and couldn't leave the windows open because of street noise.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They even printed boarding passes for us for the return flight home.

We recommend the apartment and would definitely stay again.

Great apartment near the main shopping street.

We were in the other apartments about 800m from the main reception. They paid for our taxi to our block and we're glad they did because it wasnt an obvious building. However, it was great, really close to public transport and even though the nearest Underground had no lift it was only one flight to take our buggy down. TV was diasspointing-only 2 channels in English and both were news! All in all great value and well stocked kitchen even with washing up liquid.

We booked AMC last minute on a spontaneous trip to Berlin. We were thoroughly impressed with the front desk staff, as well as the cleanliness, size & amenities in the apartment. It was conveniently located in one of the shopping districts, close to the Zoo & close to numerous restaurants. It was almost too good to be true for the price.

AMC Apartments Bundesallee

We booked into the AMC Apartments Bundesallee (Zwei-Schlafzimmer) which is the three bed apartment, it was a big apartment and was very clear, no aircon but fans are provided. The bedrooms are good, the third bedroom is in the lounge and a sofabed (albeit a big one) so no complaints.

The bathroom was good with a shower as well as a bath and towels are provided. The kitchen has all the things you need to cook and they provided a few dishwasher tables and washing up liquid. Within 100m there is a Aldi and an Edika, likewise when you want to get the Metro it is within 5mins walk and takes you right to the central station.

So if you are booking into the Bundesallee apartment I can recommend. If you are arriving late you need to ask for a code to pick up the key from a electronic post box opened using code on the 2nd floor of the main office which is 800m away from apartment, walkable but not if you have 5 suitcases so keep taxi waiting if you do.

Only thing to be aware of that I believe the Ku´Damm apartments are above a night club, but I'm saying this on the basis of other reviews and that our apartment wasn't near any night club so much be the Ku´Damm apartments.

Downsides: half a flight of stairs to get to elevator. hmm . . .

We loved our stay at these apartments apart from the fact that we couldn't have the apartment we initially booked for 6 and we were instead giving us 2 apartments for 3 people each-we wished to live together and so we didn't feel as though we got our value for money. The compensation we were given was free drinks from the mini bar which didn't really make a difference but the staff were very sweet but could do nothing about it.

Check-in process could have been better (for Sunday arrivals). WiFi was not available for the first 24 hours, which is not acceptable. Location was good with U-Station, restaurants and markets nearby but not central to the city for tourism perspective. This place is in a same building with a night club and a gym. Also above some fast food place. Smelly, loud and dark.

Good base for sight seeing

The hotel desk was helpful, but our apartment was away from the main block in what appeared to be a residential block. There was plenty of space, wi-fi was good and access to shops was good. Apartment was clean and gave good access for a week's sight seeing. The kitchen was well equipped and daily housekeeping was a nice treat! Only real down side was the need for a little decor tidying, but it was clean and pleasant nevertheless.

The room is great for a couple with two children. It was clean & comfort. The location is just at teh heart of the city, close to everywhere, and if not - then to all transportation means.
The staff assistance was great. From checking in, to early check out, and boardinf passes printout... anything we asked.
We enjoyed it very much.

Nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff

I'm not used to staying in 5* hotels so perhaps I have lower standards than some, but I was very impressed with this hotel. The cutlery and cooking equipment was very clean, as was the oven - even the tea towel was spotless. It was really easy to connect to the free WiFi and it worked flawlessly. The bathroom was nice and spacious and, again very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

I was very disappointed with the apartment
The entrance stairway was very grotty
The windows and blinds were filthy
There were no toiletries provided so we had to find a shop to purchase shampoo and shower gel
We ran outbid toilet paper
Very unexceptable

Great value for money!!!

Excellent location, and a great apartment. The apartment itself was extremely clean and well kept, the entrance and hallways dont do the room interiors justice. All amenities you could think of that you would ever need, plenty of space, comfortable beds, clean and well decorated bathroom, just all round very nice. Don't expect the Hilton, because you didn't pay for it, this is a budget apartment, but for value for money its great. We stayed on the top floor facing the road, with the windows closed noise at night was barely noticable considering its city centre, however, if you were at ground level i could imagine it being quite noisy, my only real observation. Staff were excellent and helpful.....ONE PROBLEM we did have was at check in, we arrived late, but had notified them and was given a code to access the safe on the second floor to get our keys, the pincode they provided did not work!!!! thankfully we managed to get hold of them via telephone, they had given us the wrong code...annoying, but it was resolved quickly so all good!

Berlin in one day

Easy check-in and check-out. Conveniently located - Subway stations right around the corner. Shopping center across the yard. Parking close by. Apartment contained almost everything we needed - no washer and dryer. Appearance was a bit austere. However, there were elevators, which made moving in and out more convenient.
In the evening, we had to close the bedroom door in addition to the apartment door for more quietness.
