The staff were very lovely and helpful. Lovely cosy place to stay. The pension was perfectly situated for the main shopping street and way access to public transport for the more touristy sites with some great cafes and restaurants very close by.

There were a few inconveniences. There was a sign on the door that the key was available at a bar on the corner. We got the key but it was not clear that this was for a side door next to the main door. Thanks to a passer by we were able to find out how to enter. I was not prepared for a 3 flight walkup with bags. They never changed the linens and the floors were dusty. After a long day of touring around on the next day the cleaning people showed up at 5 pm to clean? I am not sure they did much.

It is a old building but I like that. The fellow running the Fruhstuck room was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the typical German breakfast buffet and was good.

Best thing about it was the location. Plenty of restaurants near by. Only a short walk to Savignyplatz S-Bahn, The location itself helped to overcome the other shortcomings.

With a little care to mopping the floors, providing clean towels, a clearer note ahead of time about the key and the walkup I would change my rating to good.

I Recommend This Hotel

Pension Peters is a budget hotel that offers good quality service. I stayed there for six days and I find my room adequate. I stayed in April where it was still cold for a guy from California so the heating was at a perfect temperature for me. The room was modest but I didn’t expect much at this price point. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I couldn’t hear other people as I was sleeping which is a huge plus for me. I would recommend this hotel for the budget minded person who doesn’t mind missing the luxury of higher end hotels.

The stay at Pension Peters was pleasant and comfortable. The staff was friendly and catered to every need. The room was simple, but spacious and clean. And most importantly conveniently located close to the S Bahn (making the connection to the airport super easy), in a beautiful area of the city. Whole-heartedly recommended!

I suggest that for Late check-ins, one should make arrangements with hotel staff prior to arrival. After hours It is difficult to contact staff from abroad. If you arrive late, you need to arrive at the location to find written instructions on how to enter facilities or contact staff. I suggest you contact the hotel and the staff personally during office hours prior to arrival to ensure all arrangements are to your expectations and avoid mistakes with bookings. Online transactions may seem simple, but it might be confusing. The staff however,was extremely polite, graceful, friendly, and kind. They were helpful in resolving confusion and were willing tobresolve problems. I had a very pleasant stay and look forward to return.

Extremely disappointing

I really wonder how this hotel has a high rating. The room was extremely small, comparable only to a tight student dorm and was missing most basic amenities. The most annoying thing was the curtain which was really thin and couldn't really block the sun so even if you want to sleep after sunrise it's really difficult. What's worse, when the cleaners started working it was impossible not to wake up because they used a vacuum machine just outside my room and were speaking loudly on the phone. As a result I didn't manage to get any decent sleep. The bathroom is in a different room that doesn't communicate with the sleeping room making it very inconvenient, and the shower head holder was broken. The hotel charges 2.5% for credit card transactions and it doesn't have 24-hour reception. The only good qualities of this hotel are the free Wi-Fi and the location, but that's not enough if you can hardly sleep. I will definitely not return.

Pension Peters is about the PEOPLE!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating; happened to be on the first floor so very noisy to street traffic. Loved the neighborhood Pension Peters was in, with great restaurant choices, shopping, parks. Charming. Breakfast was tasty. Checking out was a challenge, as the system was down and we were told we couldn't use our charge card but needed to find an atm so that we could pay with cash.

Great service, clean hotel in good location.

Fantastic, friendly owners/front desk! Very cute, clean lobby/breakfast area. Adorable courtyard, however it backed up to a restaurant that was quite noisy at night and had numerous employees smoking out back. There's no air-conditioning, which meant leaving the windows open and having to smell the smoke... And also, since it was a courtyard, there was no breeze - our room was very warm and it was in the high 50's/low 60's our two days there. Would definitely not want to stay here in the summer! The room and bedding was clean, however the beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were very lacking.

Nice centrally located hotel

Staff was very helpful. Our experience at Pension Peters was very positive. Christoph was very helpful in telling us how to get around. Suggested a great restaurant close by and called us a taxi for the morning airport ride. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant.

Good Comfortable Accommodations

Pension Peters provided comfortable accommodations for us. It was located in an area that made it easy to get to the sights of Berlin on the city bus. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and not overly expensive. Overall, a good value.

Decent inexpensive option

Good West Berlin location, within walking distance of train/bus station for touring Berlin highlights. Host was incredibly informative upon arrival; provided my husband and me with wonderful information for our quick one-day tour of Berlin. We also liked the early check-in option for dropping off luggage. Room was ok; somewhat sparse but clean and a good inexpensive option. Fortunately we were leaving very early in the morning and were awake by 5:30am. I say this because from our room we could clearly hear the early morning trash being dumped from the building in the back; the noise was very loud, went on for a length of time, and would have woken us up.

Be aware that there is an additional 4 euro per person per night breakfast fee (got charged every day even if you do not eat their breakfast every day). Have to explicitly tell the hotel at the very beginning of your stay not to provide breakfast to exclude yourself from the charge.

What made this stay a very good experience are great people you encounter while at the hotel. The final touch, a personal email a day after I've checked out with \"thank yous\" was something that you don't get often. They do try to take care of guests in every way and do so with a smile - not something that is very common in Europe in my experience and even more appreciated because of that.

A simple but satisfying place

The location of this place is in a very nice area near savigny place. Our room was simple but clean and spacious. There are several flights of stairs and currently some building repairs but that did not deter us.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and they stored our luggage for us. Easy to get to from s train savigny stop and a few more blocks from zoo station.

San Marino restaurant on the plate was very good and reasonable.

Berliner Altbauflair, sehr authentisch. Unser Zimmer war riesig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Unweit von Bahnhof Zoo, Kudamm und Gedächtniskirche, jede Menge Gastronomie in der Umgebung.
Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut mit reichlich Auswahl.
Ganz klare Buchungsempfehlung!

Die Pension liegt direkt am Savignyplatz, also auch in fußläufiger Nähe zum Zoologischer Garten, dadurch hat man super Anschlussmöglichkeiten zur S-Bahn und zum Regionalbahnverkehr. Das Einchecken war kein Problem, wir wurden super freundlich begrüßt. Unser Zimmer lag im Innenhof, wodurch es ruhig war und wir die Möglichkeit auch hatten, uns in den Innenhof zu setzen. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort (Konzertbesuch), aber man hätte auch länger bleiben können.

La chambre au RDC ne correspond pas aux photos sur le site: pas cosy du tout, lit \"double' juste 2 lits côtes à côtes sans tête de lit donc impossible pour un couple. Meubles d'occasion bon marchés. Vraiment trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Alles war in Ordnung, nur hätte ich mir einen Handtuchhalter im Bad gewünscht, gerade wenn man dasselbe Handtuch mehrmals benutzt. Vielleicht wäre auch ein Rutschschutz (irgendeine Gummiauflage) in der Dusche nützlich, zumal diese sehr eng war.

Statt dem Zimmer auf dem Foto hat man mir eine Ferienwohnung in einem Mehrfamilienhaus im 4. Stock angeboten. Es hatte zwar einen Lift, aber bis zum Lift waren 5 Stufen. Ich bin fast 80 Jahre alt und habe Rücken, daher war es mir unmöglich meinen Koffer zu zutragen. Die Wohnung war knapp 10 Minuten vom Hotel Peters entfernt, darum konnte ich auch nie zum Frühstück gehen. Das Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche konnte ich auch nicht benutzen, weil keinerlei Rutschmatte vorhanden war. Das wäre für mich viel zu gefährlich. Der Spiegel im Bad war so hoch, dass ich mich kaum sehen konnte. Ich bin jeden Tag im Hotel vorbei gegangen um zu reklamieren. Hat wenig genutzt. Ausserdem wurde es natürlich die ganze Woche nicht gereinigt oder die Wäsche gewechselt. Es war eine Zumutung und ich bin froh wieder daheim zu sein. Ich war sehr enttäuscht und würde dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Als ich den Schlüssel abgab sagte man, dass man mir die Wohnung hätte gar nicht anbieten dürfen. Ausserdem ist es dich wohl gar nicht erlaubt so eine Wohnung als Ferienwohnung zu vermieten. Ich weiss nicht ob sie mir das Frühstück berechnet haben, dass ich nie eingenommen habe. Mein Bruder hat in der Nähe einen Kiosk und hatte mir Hotel Peters empfohlen. Das wird er in Zukunft nicht mehr empfehlen. Das habe ich auch im Hotel gesagt. Nun kann ich nur noch sagen „leider“ trotzdem habe ich mit meinen Geschwistern schöne Stunden erlebt. Ursula

Gemischte Gefühle: das Zimmer schien mir sauber, alles spartanisch eingerichtet aber ok, das Frühstück war ausreichend. Nun sooo einen unfreundlichen Service habe ich schon lange nicht erlebt, wenn man von „Berliner Bussfahrern“ spricht kommt das ungefähr hin. Daran sollten sie dringend arbeiten, man fühlt sich einfach nicht willkommen.

Glimrende hotel til kortere ophold

Hotellet er beliggende tæt på Zooligisker garten (regionaltog, U + s Bahn samt masser af busser), Uhlandsstrasse (U-Bahn) og Savagnyplatz (S-Bahn). Mængder af gode og prisbillige restauranter i området. Ud fra div. anmeldelser skrev vi og bad om et roligt rum uden støj fra baren på hjørnet. Det fik vi i stueplan. Det må dog tilføjes, larm fra skaldespandetømning eller fra naboværelsets ind- og udgang, det var tydeligt. Værelset var spartansk indrettet. Gardinet skal være trukket for, hvis man ønsker privatliv. Rengøring fin. Godt badeværelse. Morgenmaden kan tilkøbes, - den var jævnt kedelig. Efter morgenmaden da stod der, at man skulle betale for kaffe/te. Der er ikke køleskab på værelset. Vi havde ikke et skrivebord, blot et lille rundt bord og 2 lænestole. TV er meget lille. For os var det beliggenheden, der var det vigtigste.

En varm oplevelse

Værelse og badeværelse var stort. Det var højsommer og ekstremt varmt uden mulighed for gennemtræk. Med åbne vinduer var der virkelig meget støj fra gaden. En vinterdag med lukket vindue havde det været fint. Men støjen og varmen gjorde ophold på værelset til en mindre fornøjelse. Personalet var flinke og imødekommende og gjorde hvad de kunne for at fordele de 5 ventilatorer hotellet rådede over blandt de mest trængende. Placeringen i forhold til at komme rundt i byen var perfekt.

\"unscheinbare\" Pension in sehr zentraler Lage

wir waren zu viert, zwei Doppelzimmer, für ein Wochenende in Berlin. Wir hatten ein schönes Doppelzimmer mit Balkon. Unten auf der Straße tobt auch Nachts noch das Leben. Unter den Balkons 3 gut besuchte Restaurants. Die Fenster isolieren aber sehr gut. Man hört dann so gut wie nichts mehr. Wir kommen gerne wieder!! Dann jedoch ein anderes Zimmer; unser hatte leider nur Dusche und WC auf dem Flur. Bei 1 Nacht störte das jetzt nicht, wenn man länger bleibt ist das sicher nicht so schön.

Volvería a hospedarme! muy buena ubicación.

El personal a la entrada muy amable, el desayuno suficiente , la zona llena de restaurantes, cerca de estaciones del tren y tiendas. Muy buena ubicación y muy buen hotel.
Lo único malo es que sentía que el cuarto no estaba completamente limpio, debajo de la cama y en las orillas era notable el polvo.

Dejlige dage i Berlin

Vi blev mødt af personale, som var meget hjertelige og åbne. Der var ingen tvivl om at de ønskede vi fik et godt ophold. Vi havde hund med uden problemer.
Området er godt og meget centralt i forhold til hvad vi skulle se. Pensionen har et parkeringskort, hvor man kan holde på gaden, hvis der er plads, lige udenfor for 8 euro pr dag. Lidt billigere end parkeringshuset 100 m væk.

Dejligt lille hotel med central beliggenhed

Dejligt ophold med engageret, imødekommende personale. Morgenmaden var lige tilpas, dog ville det have været rart med forskellige slags juice og ikke kun appelsin. Hotellet ligger perfekt ift offentlig transport med kun 2 min gang til S-bahn. Netop derfor er der desværre også rigtig meget støj fra togene, når vinduerne på værelset var åbne. På trods af, at udetemperaturen kun var ca 20 grader, var der meget varmt på værelset, så det var ofte nødvendigt at have åbent vindue hele tiden, og dermed meget støj på værelset, når vi skulle sove.
