Great hotel situated in a modern area of Berlin. Room clean, comfortable and spacious. Despite being near a main road, the room and hotel in general was very quiet. Staff were helpful. The hotel is very close to public transport links and within walkable distance of some landmarks. There is a flea market just around the corner at weekends.

A place to stay

Hotel was off the S-bahn Tiergarten station which was reasonably convenient from a travel aspect, not so much for access to food or groceries. The stations before and after Tiergarten have more options so not a big deal if you don't mind taking the train.

We were a family of three and got 3 twin beds. It was clean and quiet. After a long day of sightseeing, it was comfortable and we were able to sleep with little disturbances. They offer breakfast for a fee.

Only complaint was that the sink wasn't conducive for hand washing clothes since the sink couldn't be stopped but we managed. Otherwise, this was a quiet, safe and comfortable stay for those on a budget.

It was ok. There were a lot of teenagers on school trips though, so it was quite noisy. AC worked well, and my request to have a quieter room right after check in was accomodated, so I can't complain too much. I did not have breakfast, but took a look and the options seemed quite average.

Fantastic clean hotel

Brilliant stay at this place for a weekend. Convenient access to Tiergarten station and from the airport. Clean was clean had all facilities expected - towels, hairdryer and body wash/ hand wash. Yes the vending machine is broken still in reception but if you request you can get a coffee from the restaurant and pay at reception. There is a snack vending machine with cold drinks which is decent. Unfortunately there are no shops nearby so if you fancy anything either bring it with you, use a food delivery service or venture out to find one nearby. None of that takes away from the stay itself which was clean and the staff friendly.

This hotel was in a great location! Just minutes from the train station, though never heard the train! We were on the eighth floor, and it had nice views, though we were short on towels and ran out of toilet paper, and the front desk could not provide. Otherwise, excellent!

Cannot fault this hotel or the room. Ok I didnt like the smell of the liquid soap, that is all I can think of that I didnt like. I liked the storage, the pegs at different height because we are not all tall, the fact I could open a window a little instead of putting on the AC.

B&B Tiergarten was a very nice, budget friendly hotel to stay. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was small but perfectly fine for us. The location is quiet and right on the canal with trees and a running path. It was great for our needs. Perhaps a bit isolated though if someone is looking to be in the heart of the city. But the Tierpark S Bahn station is very close and we easily got around town.

I visited Berlin in June 2022 and stayed at the B&B. This is one of the budget option hotels and provides you bare minimum of a room. Air conditioning is a plus. No coffee maker in the room but morning coffee and Juices are free in the lobby. Bed and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. My only gripe was the parking. They charge you 8 euros a day and its not even the money that was a issue. The parking is underground and requires driving your can into a lift. Parking area underground is clean and ample room but tight. Entering the lift from outside is not as bad as coming out of the parking lot. The space is extremely tight when you drive in the lift from the underground parking lot. High possibility of damaging your car if not careful but yet, do-able.

Man kann nicht mehr dazu sagen, komplett sauber und ruhig, sehr nettes Team und der Lage auch gut , 10 min zu Fuß zu Charlottenburg und vieles mehr.

Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und frisch.
Nur einzigste war Kaffee!
Kaffeemaschine in der Lobby sieht sehr alt und hat nur vier oder fünf Sorten! Schmeckt auch nicht.

Wenn jemand so wie ich Kaffee trinkt dann besser ein gutes Cafe in der Nähe finden kann.
Ansonst empfehle ich das Hotel und würde gerne wieder übernachten.

Awesome beyond words

I normally would not leave reviews but this hotel deserve it. I stayed on the room 809 the Easter week, the room was huge, with a lot of natural light, big window, clean and with all the amenities including the hair dryer. I had bfast a couple of mornings and I paid directly to the reception after that. The staff was very helpful and with a great customer service including the chambermaid which I encountered once on the floor. Location is great and although no food outlets nearby the hotel got everything u need by a vending machine with always a good selection of food savoury and sweet plus drinks of all kind including beer for a great price. I was so impressed with the experience at this hotel that after the second night I decided to book again fir September. I will look forward to be back there and bring my money to an establishment that tick all my boxes.

Can count on this chain of hotels

Always like this chain as i last used it in Ulm. Room is impeccably clean with nice tasteful decor. Bed is relatively comfy as one of the single bed was a bit soft as i like firm beds. Quite a few power socekts which is great if you use a few gadgets. Checkin is very fast and smooth and location is just excellent as it is only a short walk to Tiergarten train station and to the various lovely memorials that lead to the Brandenburg gates which unfortunately i had no time to explore.But this location is great if you are heading to Potsdam for a day's visit as the direct train line gets to Potsdam from Tiergarten in about 20 to 25 mins.

Die Lage des Hotels, die Betten und die Sauberkeit im Zimmer sind sehr gut. Die Mitarbeitenden jedoch sind von A-Z unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Eine Begrüssung des Gastes fehlt. Die Rezeptionistin verweigerte es mir, ein Taxi zu rufen. Ich solle an die Strasse stehen und warten. Kein \"hallo\" oder \"aufwiedersehen\". Ich habe selten ein so unmotiviertes Team erlebt. Obwohl es hiess, das Frühstück sei bis 10.00 Uhr wurde ich gebeten, den Raum um 10.00 Uhr zu verlassen. Ob fertig gegessen oder nicht. Die Tische wurden zwischendurch nicht geputzt und waren dreckig. Das Hotel wäre soweit gut, das Personal aber völlig lustlos, unfreundlich und demotiviert. Sehr schade. Da wird am falschen Ort gespart. Ich war geschäftlich in vielen Ländern unterwegs, habe einen solchen Zustand selten erlebt.

Hotel war soweit gut und sauber. Mit der S-Bahn in 15 min am Hbf. In der Nähe allerdings kaum Restaurants oder Supermärkte (12 min zu Fuß). Kein Anschluss zur U-Bahn und nachts für mich nur schwer erreichbar und mit Fußwegen. Alles in allem, aber ok.

Rengøring var i top, der var helt pænt og rent da vi overtog værelset og løbende de dage vi var på hotellet.
Hotellet ligger ret centralt i forhold til tog/metro m.m. virkelig nemt og der er ikke langt til hverken zoo eller Kurfürstendamm på gåben. Nem indtjekning og udtjekning.
Parkering er i en kælder hvor man skal med bil elevator ned, dette gjorde at bilen stod sikkert under hele opholdet. 10/10

The room was clean, big and comfy bed, soundproof ok (the A/C has worked all night to cool the room and cover the noise, even if the A/C itself was quite noisy), the person at the desk didn't seem so happy, 4-5 minutes walk from S-Bahn, room size ok but the table was quite small, the door of the shower didn't close correctly (but at some point that's not my problem)

Opholdet var faktisk rigtig godt, airconnen var nok en af de bedste features sammen med udsigten. Eneste lille minus var at badeværelserne er en smule små. Ellers et meget godt ophold, især for prisen. Parkeringen var opså en oplevelse, elevatoren er meget smal så hvis du har en bredere end normal bil, kan jeg ikke anbefale parkeringen. Der er også offentlig transport en lille 5 min gang og i weekenderne er der et marked lige nedenfor.
