Convenient hotel close to train station

The hotel location is not near any attraction, but it is very close to a U-bahn station, so you can go easily anywhere. Some rooms were smoking rooms before. Though they are probably not now, I can still smell it in my room. Fortunately, the staff happily changed a room for me. The hotel is old and next to an highway, but it is kept clean and the noise insulation is quite good if you close all windows.

Near S-Bahn Statiion but no elevator to the 6th floor

My room was on the 6th floor but the elevator only went up to the fifth floor - I had to carry my luggages up by climbing the stairs. I think it would be nicer if they could have taken told me so that I didn't have to wonder how to get to the 6th floor. The staff asked if I wanted to have breakfast but didn't tell me there was an extra of 8 euro. Apart from these I am quite satistified with my stay as the location is near the the station and price is reasonable too. The bathroom was spacious and wifi was fast.

Good value

I liked being able to come and go - the road noise didn't disturb me and the hotel itself seemed very sound proof between rooms. My room was spacious and a little dimly lit. Lots of hot water. I preferred to eat breakfast in the bakery over the road as the coffee was better. Excellent value and well located.

Clean comfortable but cold

The bad was comfortable and the room was clean. But the water in the showed were cold 3 times and the room was cold. I asked the reception to turn on the hit but they refused cause it wasnt cold enough. The receptionist in the morning was antipat.

Great value

Stayed in Triple Room with a Double Bed and a Single Bed. The Double Bed was actually Queen size by Australian standards. Bathroom facilities were fine. WiFi signal was not always reliable - we were using iPhone and iPad. Staff very helpful. Good location for exploring Berlin, about 7 kms from city centre. It is right next to Bundesplatz station which intersects with the two Berlin rail lines - the S line that rings the inner city and the U line that takes you into the city centre. So best of both worlds for getting around. It is also right next to an elevated motorway which meant we had to keep our windows closed at night for noise. This could be a problem in the warmer months because I don't think it has AC that cools down the room. The neighbourhood is quite safe. Overall we thought this was very good value for money.

U/S just yards away

very convenient location: U/S just yards away; unfortunately the ring motorway is also just yards away; well (noise) insulated windows but
no A/C; therefore you have it either quiet and sticky or (with windows open)
loud and breezy (may not be a problem in winter).

Very clean and convenient!

I was surprised by how clean the rooms were! They were a little on the small side, but I've stayed in smaller in Europe. A minute walk to the P+R for the U bahn/S bahn. A walk down the road to an Aldi. Overall, great place for a good price.

Stay was comfortable and i really liked it. Next to the hotel is the train station which is very convenient. The hotel is bit far form the city center but train station being next to it solves the problem. Surrounding neighborhood is good too. At the train station, you can just park you car for free!! Breakfast was good too.

Great Value

Booking issue resolved professionally and to my satisfaction, upon checkin. No frills hotel BUT appointed with the basics, clean, tidy. All in well functioning order. Nice to book a moderatly priced hotel room which isn't a tired, rundown hotel trying to capture clients based on its prior glory days. Staff was helpful. Thanks. Lot's of quick eateries around. Grocery store within about a block. S-Bahn and U-Bahn not more than a stone's throw away. A pleasing 2-day stay.

I got a great deal staying here. just forty USD for a night. Very nice hotel. Staff was helpful and spoke english. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the train station which makes getting around berlin very easy. Perfect if your trying to keep costs low and still get a decent nights rest

Hotel Review

The hotel is in a great location with easy access by Sbahn and Ubahn to all locations. There are also great restuarants and bakerys available in walking distance. The hotel itself only offers breakfast so it is limited in dining options.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English.
I would recommend it.

Hotel is few steps from train stop...pizzeria, cafe, bar, and sub shop across street....hotel staff very friendly and hotel in good neighborhood and room modern and very clean, bathroom was fairly large with nice hot shower...15 minute train ride to all attractions....i did not do breakfast because it is $10 at hotel and i can go across street and have croissant/donut and coffee for $2 for breakfast...overall i would definitely recommend hotel

Great hotel, great location, easy access to public

Great hotel, very clean, with very easy access to both the S & U transportation lines. Great location. Nearly countless number of restaurants. Only word of caution - the \"single rooms,\" are very small. However, I would stay there again any time. Staff speaks fluent German, English, French, and probably other languages.

Mal ganz abgesehen von dem Staßenlärm von der A100, die auf einer Brücke quasie direkt vor dem Fenster entlangläuft, ist der geräuschpegel imUimmer bei geöffnetem Fenster für mich unerträglich.

Fint hotel i nærheden af offentlig trafik ( 2 minutters gang til S-bahn og 5 minutter til U.bahn) Trafikken høres ikke. Hotelværelset er rent og pænt, men meget slidt. Okay morgenmad hvis man ikke er bedre vant. Fløden var sur og mælken måtte vi spørge efter

Gutes Hotel um in Citynähe zu übernachten

Wir waren schon zum 4. mal zu Weihnachten in diesem Hotel . Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit am Bundesplatz und auch nicht weit vom Kurfürstendamm . Reichhaltiges gutes Frühstückbuffet , Zimmer sind sauber und normal ausgestattet , Toilette und Dusche sauber und pro Person Handtuch und Duschtuch vorhanden. Wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden, das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit !

Verkehrsgünstiges Hotel - 5 Minuten zum Bahnhof

Hotel war zur Übernachtung über die Weihnachtstage und war dazu auch von der Nähe zu U und S-Bahn sehr gut geeignet !! Nicht einmal 5 Minuten zu U-Bahn, S-Bahn und Bus !

- sehr zentrale Lage
- kleines Hotel mit 25 Zimmern
- relativ sauber und ordentlich
- geeignet für einen Wochenendtripp oder Geschäftsreisende

negativ:
- Frühstücksraum zu klein, daher kommt es teilweise zu Wartezeiten
- Frühstück relativ bescheiden, Kaffee leider nur aus Kaffeeautomat
- sehr hoher Verkehrslärm (S-Bahn und Autobahn in unmittelbarer Nähe)
- Geräuschkulisse im Flurbereich ebenfalls sehr hoch (Schallgeräusche)

Albergo conveniente ed economico vicino l'U-Bahn

L'Hotel Atlas è perfetto per chiunque voglia esplorare la città comodamente dalla zona di Bundesplatz. È economico, le camere sono comode e il personale della reception è cordiale e ti consiglia volentieri. L'unici problemi che ho riscontrato sono stati che la mia stanza era un po troppo fredda per i miei gusti e che dovuto alla sua vicinanza con la S-Bahn, spesso si sentiva il fetore di urina umana. Nonostante cio, ci tornerò di sicuro!

Sehr guter U- und S-Bahnanschluß.Sehr gut geführtes Hotel.4 sichere Parkplätze für 10€/Tag im verschlossenem Hof.Perfekte Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit.Frühstück schmeckt und ist ordentlich zubereitet.Trotz der Lage direkt an Auto- und S-Bahn höhrt man durch gute Schallisolierung nachts nichts.

Wir waren an einem Festival in Tempelhof, daher das Hotel optimal gelegen. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind sehr freundlich und helfen mit Auskunft wo sie können. Für uns war das Hotel gut, da nur Übernachtet wurde, für Ferien würden wir eher näher ans Zentrum...

Albergo solo per l inverno

C era stato detto da un consulente expedia che la camera era dotata di ventilatore a soffitto in realtà l ho chiesto alla reception e mi hanno portato un ventilatore da scrivania, la camera non veniva pulita o comunque pulita bene e inoltre il materasso matrimoniale era a molle di quelli sui quali non dormi, mentre il divano letto duro da morire. Ma soprattutto l hotel è situato in una zona rumorosissima perché ci passa addossata alla struttura una tangenziale a traffico continuo e la metro di superficie. L hotel é insonorizzato ma a finestre chiuse si può stare solo in inverno.

Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Makkelijk te vinden. Net hotel en ook schoon. Enige nadeel: veel lawaai van de snelweg als het raam open staat. Wij waren er met heel warm weer en er is geen airco. Raam moest dus open. In najaar, winter of voorjaar zou ik zo weer boeken hier. Wifi was wat traag. Hotel lag vlakbij metro en er is een goed ontbijttentje om de hoek. Ontbijten in hotel kan ook. Was redelijk voor 8 euro. Bij bakker om de hoek betaalden wij 2,50 voor twee belegde broodjes met koffie.

Ziemlich nah an der Autobahn, dadurch kann man nachts nur mit geschlossenem fenster schlafen.

Einfaches Hotel, perfekt für einen Kurz-Urlaub

Wenn man einen Kurz-Urlaub in Berlin verbringen möchte und dabei ein günstiges, zweckmäßig ausgestattetes Hotel sucht, ist mit dem Atlas gut bedient. Das Frühstück (8 Euro) ist sehr gut.

Für ein Hauptstadtbesuch ohne Ansprüche

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr detaillierte Hilfestellung was man wie wo wann in Berlin machen kann. Kleine Umgebungsbeschreibung von Seiten der Rezeption, kurzer Weg zur U9 und von da aus ist man schnell in der Stadt.
Leider sind wegen der nahen A100 die Fenster nachts nicht zu öffnen, sehr laut.
Sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstück war \"übersichtlich\" aber alles da was man braucht, nicht üppig sondern praktisch und gut.
Leider war etwas die Sauberkeit zu bemängeln, dies habe ich aber weitergegeben. Es roch etwas muffig (wahrscheinlich war etwas länger niemand im diesem Zimmer gewesen). Das Zimmer war recht klein, aber man wollte sich ja dort auch nicht aufhalten sondern \"nur\" die Nacht verbringen. Ausstattung ist gering. Wlan war angeboten, funktionierte leider nicht. TV an der Wand mit mäßiger Qualität. Jeden Tag neue frische Handtücher, kleine Minibar, Safe war nicht nutzbar (keine Batterien).

Verkehrstechnisch liegt das Hotel optimal. Kleiner Spaziergang und man ist im Volkspark. Essen gehen kann man sehr entspannt, vom Italiener über libanesisch, griechisch bis zum guten deutschen Essen ist alles in Laufweite vorhanden.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel

Sehr freundliches Personal. Gesamteindruck sauber und ordentlich. Einen Punkt Abzug für nur einen Zahnputzbecher und der war nicht sauber. Es waren zwei saubere Getränkegläser im Zimmer vorhanden, die wir nutzten, also empfanden wir das als kein großes Problem.
Die Lage ist zentral, mit prima Verkehrsanbindung, auch ohne PKW. Parken ist aber auch absolut kein Problem.
Da ich ohne Frühstück gebucht habe, kann ich dazu keine Angaben machen.
Wem die paar Eingangsstufen nichts ausmachen, kommt im Hotel mit Hilfe des Fahrstuhls gut zurecht. Ich selber bin stark gehbehindert.
Alles in allem kann ich dieses Hotel weiter empfehlen und bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt sicherlich wieder buchen.

Godt lille hotel. Min PC blev ofte smidt af wifi, men jeg klarede mig. Om rådet i sig selv er ikke noget særligt, men beliggenheden 1-2 minutters gang fra S- og U-bahn gør, at man hurtigt kan komme hen, hvor det sker.

Sauberes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe von S-Bahn

Das Hotelteam war sehr freundlich.
Die Zimmer sind sauber (tägliche Reinigung) und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.
Die Matratzen sind etwas unbequem.
Die Dusche im Bad hatte den üblichen Problemstellen ein bisschen Schimmel, aber ansonsten war auch hier alles topp!

Super Hotel direkt an U- und S-Bahn Haltestelle

Perfekt für eine Städtereise. Direkt an der S-Bahn Haltestelle Bundesplatz. Nur etwa 50 Meter zu gehen. Bis zur U-Bahn sind es etwa 150 Meter. Perfekt um in der ganzen Stadt mit der Bahn herum zu fahren. Am besten Welcome Ticket AB Zone gleich mitbestellen. Klappt einwandfrei

Un buon hotel,camere spaziose e pulite.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Atlas 5 gg... la camera era la 406...quindi 4piano, stanza ampia e bagno spazioso ristrutturato di recente ,gli infissi alle finestre erano talmente buoni che appena li chiudevi non sentivi più nulla; albergo situato vicinissmo alla metro uscita Bundesplatz (5min a piedi), per cui davvero comodo per raggiungere ogni angolo di Berlino. Lo consiglierei a tutti. La colazione non l'abbiano fatta perché costava 10€ a persona al gg, e a mio avviso il prezzo era un tantino elevato visto che nei vari bar potevi fare colazione con 2/3€ a testa.

Einfaches, sauberes Hotel mit guter Anbindung

Zimmergröße, Sauberkeit und Frühstücksbüfett waren vollkommen ausreichend und der Kategorie angemessen.
Aufgrund sehr hoher Außentemperaturen war es im Zimmer sehr warm (keine Klimaanlage), öffnen der Fenster sorgt für lauten Verkehrslärm der Stadtautobahn.
