Stayed one night. My credit card shows two withdrawals for the one night. I have tried to have the duplicate charge reimbursed to my card. This has been extremely frustrating.
I have emailed with proof. Called to follow up on three separate occasions and still no communication from them. Very disappointing and not what I would expect from a Relais and Chateau hotel. The double charge is very frustrating but the lack of response and communication from them is equally disappointing.

Very nice apart from the false fire alarm at 1.30am getting us out of bed in the middle of the night and no explanation to why?

Other than that staff very polite and helpful. Hotel lovely. Spa didn’t have enough loungers and water in jacuzzi was cold and steam room not working.

Never have I ever been to a hotel with such professional and delightful staff. Every staff member we came across was beyond nice and beyond helpful. By far the nicest hotel I’ve been to. The restaurant was wonderful. The hummus crackers were amazing. Chantilly and Senlis were gorgeous to visit. We wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back. It was a wonderful place to spend the last 2 nights of our honeymoon. Again, we cannot express how welcoming the staff was. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

After four days in Paris it was dreamy to take a quick 25 min train ride to Chantilly and stay here. My fiance and I got engaged the night before we stayed here & it was so special to celebrate it here. The staff was great, the room was clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the pool and sauna as well, it was nice how late the pool and sauna were open too (10pm).

Not worth the money and don’t ask for a taxi.

Not recommending this hotel as service was disappointing and the room was ok - particularly considering the price / brand.

My main issue is that I asked the desk to call me a taxi for the airport but instead they booked me the hotel car. They never informed me of this and they never provided a rate (not even on my final bill) and only found out about this when they charged my credit card after I left. Had I known this was a hotel car / been a told of the rate at any point I would never have taken the car (it’s an appalling 195 euros for a 30 minute ride vs a taxi which is 70). When I finally got a hold of someone at the hotel and they explained the charge (3 days after check out), they acknowledged that this was their error but said since I took the car there was nothing they would do. Perhaps an ok respond or a 2-star hotel but pretty poor service for a ‘5*’.

Additionally the room stunk of cigarettes.

We absolutely loved our stay , a lovely walkable little town with a stunning castle , we came after Paris for a little down time . The staff went above and beyond in every way to make us feel welcome , especially as Americans . Special shoutout to Ramy the concierge , and Eduard the fabulous sommelier. We so enjoyed our delicious dinner in the brasserie the first night , we decided to splurge and sit at the chefs table at the gastronomy restaurant the 2nd night for a 7 course tasting menu and it was an evening we will never forget! Incredible food and wine . We also enjoyed the quiet and spacious room , the pool and the buffet breakfast . A terrific stay !! Highly recommended!

A very young, friendly and helpful staff although sometimes the message fell through the cracks. Just minor things. Breakfast was quite pricey and not as great as we expected for the price.
Lovely large rooms and just adjacent to the chateau so very convenient. Nearby nice restaurants.
Pool is heated and sauna and steam were great!
Definitely a beautiful property.
We also appreciated that we were able to modify our stay to leave early to care for a sick family member.

We came in on a very early flight and were at the Auberge by 8am. Though the rooms were of course not ready, the staff was very accommodating, allowing us to sit for breakfast (which was excellent and high quality). We had dinner in the bistro there the first night and the food was some of the best we had in France during our visit. An excellent hotel to stay at when visiting Chantilly!

Have stayed in many R&C properties before. This Hotel accommodates large groups in hotel guest spaces so very disruptive to have dinner (smoking proximity to eating area). Hard sell to upgrade at check-in for one night only stay. Bedding dated with cheap lumpy pillows for Relais et Chateau property. Air unsatisfactory . Very disappointing.

This a a beautiful property located within the town limits of Chantilly. Only 30 minutes from Charles de Gualle airport and most of the drive is through farmland, small villages and forest. Staff is ver friendly. Common areas are beautifully decorated. The rooms are very nice. Excellent bar.

Perfect hotel when visiting Chantilly Castle.

Perfectly located for a visit to Chantilly Castle. Great service and a friendly and helpful concierge and hotel reception. Everything was in order as requested. Weather was great and so the visit was simply fantastic.
We had to dine in the bistro as the better restaurant was closed (on Mondays). Not expecting much, so it didn't disappoint (especially having read some previous reviews that the bistro was unimpressive). I think the previous reviews were likely unreasonably harsh!

Fantastic location. Right next to the former King’s palace and steps from the town of Chantilly. Nice dirt path’s on which to run. Excellent Michelin Star restaurant. Only complaint was room’s air conditioning was not working on arrival and I learned from staff it had not been working before. Had to change rooms. Room was very nice.

We were fortunate to be return visitors to Auberge de jeu de Paume. Located on the wall of the grounds of the Chateau de Chantilly and at the gate to the city of Chantilly, it is a true five star experience no matter which room you are assigned. Because of Paris Fashion Week and the Ryder Cup, we could only book one night as they were full. When we checked in, reception was busy but we were greeted with smiles and our vehicle & baggage were promptly dealt with. We were escorted to our room (we booked a deluxe room, park view) and were overwhelmed to find that as return visitors, the manager had upgraded us to the presidential suite. It was probably the most luxurious room we have ever stayed in (the dining room seats 10). The Hermès amenities, the gratis refreshments In the butlers pantry, the luxurious bedding and furnishings, the massive bathtub and state of the art shower, no detail was overlooked. The concierge graciously set up activities for us at the chateau and reception gave us a late checkout so that we could enjoy the hotel as long as possible. Suffice it to say, we are committed, loyal patrons. We look forward to returning.

Great Position - wonderful stay

Just at the edge of the Chateau this is a superb hotel. nothing is too much trouble - the rooms are a good size and great comfort - bathrooms clean and well provisioned. we had a room on the front and the noise of cars on cobbles was not intrusive, the restaurants are high quality and the bar welcoming. we were able to eat outside in the courtyard one evening which was lovely and we would recommend this to anyone visiting the beautiful chateau and grounds - or the races!

Expensive hotel that is happy to charge extra for child in room, however kids only allowed in pool before 10am or after 8pm !!
No kids menu so meal depends on what you ask for as staff didn’t have any suggestions. We tried to conform to the menu for our daughter and were served old smelly fish, the table behind had chicken and chips, neither or which was on the menu.
No welcome appetiser as in every other restaurant on my French trip so overall great place to stay but eat in one of the fantastic restaurants in the same street.

Not to be missed. Very expensive but well worth it. The staff could not have been friendlier. Our plans were changed and we arrived early in the morning. They were extremely accommodating. Great breakfasts, a great bar/lounge, and the location is amazing. Once a part of the chateau grounds, while now technically separate, you feel still as if you are within the confines of the chateau's park. Right next to one of the museums, across the street from the Grand Stables, and abutting the entrance to the park. Extremely luxurious conditions while respecting the ambiance of another century. Super romantic. Super fun. A worthwhile indulgence. Save up for the experience and then enjoy it. Recommend at least 3 or 4 days.

Next to Chantilly Chateau

My wife and I have stayed here 3 times and all have been an excellent experience. This is a Relaise & Chateau Hotel, a chain of hotels we frequent. We love the location since it's an ideal place to stay a couple of days before our flight back to the USA. It's only 30 minutes by car to Charles De Gualle airport.

1st class, charming French countryside location

While planning a trip for our 30th wedding anniversary, I thought my wife would like to see the French countryside. I stumbled upon this property, which is conveniently located adjacent to Castle Chantilly. Although only 5-years old, this property fits into the historical architecture seamlessly. There is a Michelin 1-star restaurant onsite, which is a rare find, but there are several charming if not excellent restaurants a short walking distance in town.

Other than a hiccup by the staff at check-in (no one was present at the registration desk and we had to wait for 5-minutes until someone showed up), the service was very good and the facility was impeccably clean. We definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic trip back in history and a relaxing and romantic escape. There's a spa onsite but unfortunately we did not have time to experience the services. But there's always next time!

Fabulous location in the Domaine de Chantily

We saw Chantilly during the TV coverage of the Tour de France and decided on the spur of the moment that we had to go. It did not disappoint. We were there for three nights, it;s just half an hour from Paris CDG so very easy journey.
Easy walk to the Chateau with its magnificent rooms and gardens, even easier walk to the Museum of the Horse, working stables as well.
Great food of course and Chantilly Cream!

This is a excellent hotel that offers true five-star service, an excellent Michelin-starred restaurant and one of the better hotel breakfast buffets I've ever experienced (with a corresponding price, of course).
But it could do a few things in the rooms a bit better. For instance, there are no bathrobes in the room, which is something I'd expect at a hotel of this quality (much lesser hotels have bathrobes!). And face clothes would be welcome as well (I realize these aren't the custom in Europe, but Paris hotels have certainly got the memo that North American travelers expect them). Also, offering instant coffee in the room is probably worse than offering no coffee at all for a five-star hotel.
All in all though, I would recommend it highly!

excellent location , perfect for a romantically get away. peaceful and what a beautiful palace to see not to mention the magnificent horses. Would definitely come back for the races of any sort, it was really a great place to stay. The restaurants in the hotel award winning michelin star food... what a treat..and restaurants and in the surrounding local town area absolutely fab. had wonderful meals and great coffee and dessert.
Must recommend the bakery for their sweet treats, we took a whole box full of goodies home to the `uk,

Lots of problems, poor service, 1-star hotel

-Photos at website are from the chateau next to the hotel, not from the hotel it self and you need to pay a ticket to use the gardens etc.
-States that 24h room service is available but actually there is room service up until 22.30
-Parking even though they stated that it's free of charge, they charged us 12 euros/day
-Heating was not working in our room, no one fixed it for 4 days
-Food poisoning from egg at the Club Sandwich on the last day

Beautiful hotel backs up to Chateau Chantilly. It is an easy walk to visit the grounds, the chateau, and the stables across the street. Chantilly is full of history, competes with Versailles, and is a must for those into horses. Chantilly has a collection of French art and paintings second only to the Louvre.

Over Priced but Very Nice

The room looked exactly like it did in pictures and was clean and comfortable. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because it said there was 24 hour room service and we knew we would have jet lag. When we called to order some food around 1 am, we were informed that the only thing would could have was a plate of sliced salmon. We explained that one of us has a severe fish allergy and that salmon would not be ok. The person on the phone insisted that that was all we could have (despite there being a full menu that says it is 24 hours). We insisted on something else and finally were able to get sandwiches, but were refused the sides that come with them. It took another hour to arrive and then we were charged full price. For such an expensive new hotel, this level of service is totally unacceptable. We will not stay here again.

Where you want to be!

This hotel has perfect access to the castle, museum, large park area and horse stables and park. It is also close to the village of Chantilly which is interesting, and to restaurants. We took a taxi (60 euros) from CDG to Chantilly rather than returning to the Gare du Nord in Paris and then taking the train to Chantilly. This was a good decision. The railway station is about 3 miles from the hotel for the return trip to Paris after two days in Chantilly. The Hotel has two restaurants, one of which is rather expensive and simple and the other which has a Michelin star and is expensive but very much worth the price. It's important to make your restaurant reservation ahead of time if you'd like to experience the Restaurant Gourmand.

The entire staff could not ne better trained or nicer. Grosse déception sur l ensemble du sejour. Impossible de manger au restaurant de l hotel les 2 soirées de notre séjour, l un fermé (nous le savions) et l autre complet. La salade césar à 27euros au bar très médiocre. Aucun charme pour un hotel 5 étoiles et déco cheap comme la photo pixelisée sur les ascenceurs pour une ambiance \"chateau\". La piscine avec des serviettes partout sur les fauteuils (pourquoi des fauteuils dans la piscine?). A 350 euros la nuit très tŕès décevant.

Séjour bien dans l’ensemble ! Point négatif pas d’eau chaude dans la chambre et petit déjeuné un peu mouvementé quand il y a du monde. Le reste rien à dire le personnel est très sympa et bienveillant.
