We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and found the room to be cool and comfortable, while our kids had fun in the pool. A bit pricy for a standard hotel but it was during the Olympics so that might’ve inflated the price. We didn’t have great service in the restaurant but found the breakfast buffet quite good.

We had to catch a flight at 3 AM from CDG and the reception did not help us one bit with any option for reaching the airport. They do not have shuttles which is ok but at least helping the guests to find some way to get to CDG is something I would expect. The room was tiny, and not very clean.

Over priced per night. Booked this as our flight from CDG was cancelled - no fault of the hotel however staff told us (1 man in particular) at the bar- that he couldn’t give us any of the left over breakfast food for our hungry kids, that hadn’t eaten. I’m aware breakfast closes at a certain time, but you’d think in this day and age humanity would be a thing! Give the kids food! There was loads of croissants and fruit visible - I did offer to pay! Room itself was ok- it did the job for us stopping over. Wouldn’t return though. Got the vibe it wasn’t welcoming to British guests.

We arrived after a very long drive to find no water for hours and a fire alarm went off at which point we evacuated the building to find out it was a false alarm - it may have been nice to have been told about this upon check in an hour or so earlier!

Terrible experience!!!!

Bathroom door did not lock it close. Very dark, not well lit. Very uncomfortable beds. No shuttle to the airport. Staff could not help us book a cab to airport. Awful.

Beautiful surroundings, conveniently located for Disney and Paris main attractions I.e., Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe and designer outlets.

Super helpful staff. Do try their breakfast, we loved their freshly made patisseries.

Halal food - Golden Grill, a km away, serves amazing English/French and Thai food. They also deliver to the hotel.

Mc Donald’s, general store and pharmacy is a few KM’s away

Free on-site parking.

We loved our stay at the hotel!

We had 5 people. The room included 2 areas, one with 2 single beds and one with a double bed and a single with a trundle. It was very comfortable and clean. Double bed was a very soft (too soft for me ) and the singles were a little hard but ok for our kids. The grounds were nice. Pool was heated, they had lawn games like badminton and ping pong which were greatly enjoyed by our children. Overall, nice stay. About a 30 minute drive to Paris (and the Eiffel Tower). There is a Lidl grocery store about a 5 minute drive away and some restaurants as well.

Room was very clean and they had the beds all made up for the 3 children! Also, the air conditioning was such a treat to sleep in after spending a week with no AC :) The Food in the restaurant was great and there were things for the kids to do, like games and a pool to swim in. We would stay there again, for sure.

We chose this hotel as a pit stop as it was close to the motorway on our way back from the south of France. The fact it had a pool was great as it gave the kids a way to burn off some energy. Drinks were expensive as was good unless you order off the set menu (which we did) and it was fine. The rooms were ok but you can’t control the air con from the room so our room was hot when we got there and then freezing after we asked for the temperature to be dropped. We had a family room and the kids had a sofa bed to share which only had a sheet and a very thin blanket on it rather than a duvet like the main bed - this caused bed swapping as my son was cold! My main issue with the hotel was breakfast - it is only served between 6-9 on a weekday which meant when we got down at about 8am the small restaurant was rammed full, and you had to queue/fight your way to get anything! One small tray with bacon and eggs and 2 coffee machines (both of which ran out of milk) meant you couldn’t get in and out quickly so the issue was made even worse. I would complain but there was one poor girl who was trying her best to clean up, restock and sort the problems out and I didn’t want to give her more grief! My advice would be stay here but order room service breakfast!

A/C does not work, you have to call reception to start it and it is set at 19 C which you can't change. Did not have good sleep, would not recommend for summer time with family.

Great stop over when heading south

Easy access to the motorway it was an ideal stop over on our way down South. The staff are welcoming and the rooms clean and comfortable although they could improve on the pillow quality. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good until we got to the cheese course we were sharing when we were served two tiny bits of camembert on a plate with slices of sour apple a little salad and two large piles of aerosol cream. We found this incomprehensible having lived in France for the last 27 years. Cheese is one of France's greatest products and should a) never be served with squirty cream and b) never with sour apple. When we asked why the waitress said with a wry smile \"orders from on high we just serve what we are told\" shrugged and walked away. Not impressive. We would suggest they remove this from the menu straight away. Other than that we would recommend. Added bonus is the secure parking.

If you are looking for a good value comfortable hotel near the Paris trade fair grounds this is a great option. Room was a decent size and the bed very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Recommended!

Not a bad hotel for a stop over...

Overall a good hotel as a stop off on the way back from the South of France to the Channel Tunnel. A couple of minor gripes were the service in the restaurant which was not great with a disinterested waiter and the room itself which was well appointed but had a slight smokey smell which was disappointing for a non-smoking room. That said the room was comfortable enough and we were heading on early the following morning so no major issue.

Good for families but not wifi

Although the reason we stayed was to be close to my brother-in-law, who had enough relatives staying over at his place, it was pleasant enough for a couple wanting peace and quiet. We asked for a quiet room and got one, although the lobby was full of kids and families attracted to the nearby Asterix amusement park. There is a nice-looking pool that we didn't use due to family obligations. The room was up-to-date and reasonable well-equipped with shampoo and such, a new TV, and a coffee maker. Too bad you can only have one device on the free wifi: either my husband could have it or me, but not both!

We arrived late in the evening so our youngest child was sleeping in a pram.
Not a problem except we were put on the first & after searching we were told there was no lift!!
We had to carry our child up the steep stairs in the pram together with luggage for 5 people.
Surely a large hotel chain like Novotel can invest in a lift???
Our room had a bad smell which we tried to mask spraying deodorant on the carpet
Very disappointed,unfriendly lady in breakfast which everything we asked for was too difficult!!
Broken windows in the main reception,not acceptable!won,t stay here again!

Was used as a stop of on our return from a family holiday. Hotel was easy to find, clean and staff were very helpful. The hotel has a large open area at the rear which gave us access to a pool and open grass area for our two children to run of some energy. Evening food was good and had a great selection of cereals etc. for breakfast.
Would certainly use it again.

Good for airport and parc asterix

Easy drive to parc asterix and airport. You can get cheaper parc asterix tickets at hotel reception.
We had a great stay and the kids loved the pool, the only disappointment was the hotel restaurant. The service was terribly slow and the staff were and dismissive. It took 2 and a half hours to have a main and dessert.
I'd definitely recommend the hotel but maybe make other dinner plans.

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely room with good facilities, well situated for Parc Asterix which we were visiting. Children wanted to swim in pool but it had debris in it which put them off. Excellent table tennis table and good entertainment with Xbox. Breakfast was pretty chaotic. Food nice but often no tables to sit at, no cutlery in particular large spoons for cereal, food kept running out although was eventually replaced, asked for hot water to be topped up, had to ask again 10 mins later as still not done. Basically either needed more staff to cater for peak times or put more food/cutlery out!

Great Family Room, ideal for visiting Parc Asterix

We stayed at the Novotel for 2 nights so that we could visit Parc Asterix, which is literally 5 minutes away by car. The family room we stayed in was large with a really comfortable double bed and two sofabeds; ideal for us as our two kids didn't want to share a bed! Breakfast was included and ok -some hot items ran out quickly but it had everything you could want. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening - the food was ok; just what you'd expect for a hotel of this standard but quite expensive. Perfectly edible but nothing to write home about. There is a McDonalds and several other restaurants a short drive away if you don't fancy eating in the hotel. Altogether we had a great stay & I'd definitely return to a Novotel & would recommend this one for a stay near Paris.

When I checked out the employee wanted to charge me for the full length of the stay even though I prepaid with Hotels.com. Probably because they thought I was American...Then a week after I check out they charged me 50 euros for the theft of a bathrobe... I contacted the hotel manager several time but she keeps saying that I stole it which is entirely false. I will not stay in this hotel ever again

The hotel was up to the usual standards of cleanliness and the reception staff were excellent. The restaurant however was very slow and disorganised and the staff quite rude, something we didn't expect, as we had a wonderful experience at the Novotel in Montpellier. They also seemed intolerant to guests with limited French, which made me feel awkward, as I do my best, but couldn't understand long sentences of rapidly spoken French, which the restaurant staff kept on doing, even though I had told them to slow down and help me out with the language. Pity as the rest of the hotel was very good.

We booked this hotel for its price and location. Just a few yards off the A1 North of Paris, Ideal as a base to visit Paris as the RER was 5 minute drive away. Close to Parc Asterix and Charles De Gaulle. Some eating houses just two minutes drive down the road. Rooms were very comfy and clean and breakfast at 1 Euro each extra was brilliant value for money with a wide selection of hot and cold options. We shared the room with our 10 and 12 year old who slept on individual fold put sofa beds. Lots of other British families there who all seemed very pleased with their choice. Staff very friendly. Pool and table tennis on site.

Sad decline of Novotels

Novotel have lost their heart and soul. It is now just a basic travellers rest with nothing unique to recommend it. The food is poor and prices are excessive for what's on offer. Overall, we wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend it to friends. Very disappointing for what once was an excellent hotel chain. We booked this venue based on several previous good experiences with Novotel but won't do so again. Better accommodation, food, and service at other, cheaper, venues.

Great for Parc asterix

This hotel is perfect for a theme park stopover or if you are just passing through. Typical Novotel, the hotel and grounds were clean and modern. Staff at reception and bar/restaurant were also very friendly. All spoke good English too! The restaurant served good quality food and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and had a good choice of buns and cooked items. Only downside is the horrid coffee. It comes from one of those awful machines and tasted like dishwater. If you don't want the hotel restaurant there are a few chain restaurants just up the road (buffalo grill, McDonalds). Hotel is easy to find, close to the motorway but not close enough to hear the traffic. All in all perfect for a stopover.

Comfortable and convenient hotel

We found this hotel to be comfortable and a good place for a family to stay. We had a large and comfortable family room which was very clean. The buffet breakfasts and evening meals were of a good standard and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the swimming pool and games equipment available to play with. Staff were generally very helpful.

Whilst the location is not very picturesque, it's very handy for Parc Asterix and also to get into Paris, which is half an hour on the RER train from the nearest station.

nice pool and near theme parc

The hotel had lots of entertainement for chidlren,but the room was very basic and rough for a 4 stars hotel

Close for Paris

Good location to stay on the outskirts of Paris, for our day in the capital. It really was a business hotel and was boring for our 3 year old. No english speaking TV channels, or even a pay per view option. No available face cloths either. The surrounding area made up for it with a pretty village and a couple of good restaurants across the highway. Not really value for money.
