No frills stay needs a overall update very dated.. It's not bad on budget just for overnight stay just to put your head down / shower and jump back on the road rooms are quite roomy.

I have been here multiple times and this is the absolute last time. The bathroom shower was full of black mold and when staff was notified I was basically shrugged off. Breakfast bar was almost nonexistent and milk was expired in the fridge expected to be used by paying guests. I woke up so awfully congested and with a headache and runny nose and staff could have cared less. Highly disappointed. Shuttle ride to casino was only plus. Although I did have to wait about an hour to get picked up upon return. Limo could use maintenance as well. Inside lights falling apart. Again highly disappointed, aside limo staff was very friendly. Would recommend staying else where and prioritizing your health and wellbeing. Also value for your money!

The room was poorly maintained and not very clean. It smelled musty, as if someone had recently smoked in the room. I checked in late a the evening and couldn't find another hotel available anywhere near me (I didn't have a car) and I had to leave early so I stuck it out. Can't believe this place has decent reviews. I would never stay there again!

We were in a quiet, standard jacuzzi room. Hubby and I used our phones and listened to music because the TV gave us issues.

Even with that, we had no need to contact the front desk after check-in.

We were celebrating my husband's birthday and went there for a concert at Foxwoods.

It is dated and basic, but you make it work traveling there with someone fun and enjoys just chilling! Bring a coffee maker or hot pot- only a decent, very clean mini fridge and microwave were in the room.

Foxwoods is about 15-minutes away. DoorDash delivers right to the door. Yes, getting away in a low-key jacuzzi room for a few days, I recommend it. Price is a little high for what you see, but Everthing appears higher there.

The staff were very kind, however the property is in need of both cleaning and updates. Our shower had mold on the ceiling and the curtain liner, the jacuzzi tub needed to be cleaned, and the room definitely had a very strong odor. We were only able to get a smoking room and the scent was extremely evident, to the point where it affected sleep and made my clothes smell that I didn't even wear. I understand the appeal of a smoking room for some, but the small space made it hard to handle. The TV Speakers were blown and the room phone did not work. We DID appreciate the limo shuttle to the casino, and the driver was very nice and accommodating. Given the number of hotels in the direct area, we probably would not choose this one again if we did not see it had been updated.

The staff were nice, but the room smelled awful. I wasn't sure what the smell was, old smoke possibly. The bed barely fit in the odd shaped room. The floor was tile and felt unclean. When I pulled back the top sheet on the bed there was dirt in the bed. There wasn't a way to plug in my phone charger near my bed as the only side table was up against a door to another room with no outlet nearby. The walls were so thin that I was kept up well past midnight from the party that was going on next door. The room on the other side - the dog kept barking. My room was facing the reception area and they turned on really bright lights outside that the Levelor blinds couldn't keep out. Then there was the pillows. There were five of them and they were so overstuffed - all of them - that my head was at such a bad angle that my neck hurt in the morning. Due to all of this I only got about 4 hours sleep.

Noooooooo luke,warm, or hot water AT ALL!!!!!! I mean none!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!
It was absolutely cold water and I let the water run to see if it would get warm or hot as time went by and nope it was cold!!!!
We also noticed the room floor had all dead bugs, tons everywhere including on the walls in the room. we didn't get to notice all this till after eleven p m.When we came back from the casino and by that time nobody was at the office.
Also, The breakfast was terrible and the options were very limited, and I did try to have a little bit of cereal and a cup of coffee and the cereal was steal and old. mind you i was one of the first people to go for breakfast at 7 am. it was horrible (the door had just been opened)
We had neighbors next door for a few hours outside very very loud outside their door and even with us having the tv on, we could still hear how loud for hours they went on, it started after 12 midnight and didn't end till after 3 am. It was such a horrible stay and night. The bed springs also made the ending for a nights sleep soooooo bad we would Not recommena yone and we hope the owners can fix and address those issues because the amount of money you pay for a night, we shouldn't have service like that. They need and must do better!!!! Not cool at all, but the best part is the fire pit outside and the hanging outside lights unfortunately. I can only say and give part of a star for that because otherwise don't waste your hard earned money on trash for any night

This property is nothing like the photos. Check in was great and friendly but other than that it was a disappointment. Broken window opener, mold and dust around and on ceiling may have been a fire at one time cause looks like burn marks around the smoke alarm. Cracked bathroom sink. Room was non smoking but smelled like it’s been smoked in since 1980 and also the last time it was renovated. I put my own blanket on the bed and slept on that cause everything in the room just felt dirty. Didn’t even shower in the morning as I just wanted to get out of there. That neighbors were having a party and it was like they were in my room. I would recommend NOT staying here at all cost. I tried to look at other hotels near by but nothing available or all had terrible reviews.

We rented a two queen deluxe room so we could use the Jacuzzi tub after a long day of traveling. We arrived around 11pm, the check in staff was very friendly and helpful. As we arrived to our room we struggled to get the door open because it stuck and had to be pushed hard to open. When we entered it was immediatley noted that the room was not clean. The floors were dirty, there were cobwebs all over the ceiling and there was even a spider waiting for me on my pillow. After accepting this was it for the night because it was too late to deal with it we went in to try the jacuzzi tub and quickly realized that we would not be able to use it as the knob to turn it on was broken completely off, the tub was also very discolored. After settling for a shower I was then stuck in the bathroom because the door was out of straight and stuck in the top corner. After pulling on it from the inside the handle then broke off in my hand and my husband had to push the upper corner of the door from the outside of the bathroom for me to get out. After finally crawling into our hard bed at 1 am we were woken at 3 am to screaming outside our room door by a man at his wife and again at 4:30. We felt unsafe to go outside and would never stay here again. The friendly lobby staff was the only good thing about our stay, otherwise it was terrible and we would not recomend this place to anyone!

The room was discusting I actually walked in and then walked back out and went to front seat and returned the keys and asked for my money back and they wouldn’t give it back to me. Now I will have to go through Expedia to try and get my money back the room was dirty and the ceiling tiles were falling down in some areas I wouldn’t let my dog stay in their rooms

The pictures online are much better than the actual property. My experience here was honestly very disappointing.

The first room I was placed in had a toilet leaking water all over the bathroom floor. After reporting it, I was moved to a second room, which was even worse — there was visible mold all over the ceiling and I found a bug on the bed. I was then moved a third time, and while that room was acceptable, the overall experience had already ruined the stay for me.

The property feels more like old cabins than suites, and unfortunately they are not well maintained. Everything felt very dated and poorly kept up. Staff did switch my rooms when I complained, which I appreciated, but having to move multiple times during one stay ruined my stay.

I would not stay here again and would recommend future travelers lower their expectations or consider other options.

Love this property, I stayed here once before and it was great. I was disappointed the fire pit wasn't running, they said they ran out of firewood ... why couldn't they go buy some? That's one of the main reasons I came back here. I also enjoyed the free breakfast, but one of the mornings a lot of the stuff was running low or gone by 8:00 (and the breakfast starts at 7:00). I wish they'd keep a better watch on what needs to be refilled.

The deadbolt latch fell off when upon first entering the room. Room is decaying. Mold in closet. Jetted tub is in pretty bad condition. It looks like this place may have been renovated 20 yrs ago but never looked at since. Water damage on ceiling, tiles are cracked and moving near the bed. Control panel on tub is torn up and broken. There is just a dial on the wall that you turn on the bubbles. Drain plug doesn’t work so they have a rubber disc that was probably made in the late 50s. It was probably white at one time but everything has a yellow hue to it. Very little soap or personal hygiene products. Staff was nice, I mentioned it to the front desk and they apologized but I will be asking for a refund because we obviously had to get a different hotel room and adjust our plans at the last second.

We were pleasantly surprised at how happy we were with our stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy. Complimentary Shuttle to casino was a limo which was awesome/unexpected (we did tip the driver of course!). Free breakfast with an assortment of foods- bagels, cereal, waffles). Very cute lit up outdoor area that had a firepit and ourdoor seating...we didnt use it due to weather but looked great. We def would return for value for what we paid. (Its also 15min from Mystic so locstion was great).

It was an interesting stay. They were hexagon buildings. The room had a bit of an odor but the beds were comfortable. The shuttle to the casinos was an old limo which was cool. Breakfast was basic, waffles, cereal, bagels & English muffins. The coffee was very good. All in all not a bad stay.

I definitely would be coming to stay again. The staff was amazing, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast can be a bit better but I loved the waffle machine. The room was clean and I enjoyed having the whirlpool in my room.The hot water works just great. Great getaway for couples, it is also kid friendly. The TV volume was a bit loud couldn't really hear the words but we managed. It's 10 mins from the Casino, Great wolf Lodge, and Tange Outlets. Overall, I would definitely be going back to visit when it's warmer. I had a really great and relaxing time especially for great price. Highly recommended, my fiance really enjoyed her birthday getaway

We stay here every year and love it. It’s simple, comfortable, clean and the staff are always friendly. The limo ride to the casino is a nice addition and on the days where there’s a fire, everyone is always so welcoming. The breakfast is nothing fancy but it’s nice to get a fresh cup of coffee and a quick bite to eat before you start your day.

The property is mediocre. The floors were pretty dirty. The grounds had trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The tv didn't work. I was thankful to only be there one day. Great if you are a smoker with pets to stay for a night but that's about it. No coffee maker in the room but there was a dunks nearby. Definitely needs to be cleaned up. I never even saw any staff but the one lady at the desk. I definitely could have gotten more for the price.

Staff was friendly but the no stair, walkin room was not available. I did call them before I booked, was told there would be no problem as I should note this in special request at booking. When i arrived and was given the room, there were no maps to navigate property. After 20 minutes searching, i found the room at the top of a double flight of stairs...no way I could navigate those. I was ready to drop exhausted, yet had to go all the way back to lobby. Then best they could do was still up 8-10 stairs. NOT COOL!

Room was older, a bit dusty around the edges, cobwebs hanging on the wall, tv covered in dust, empty nip bottle behind TV (was trying to find connection), old tangerine? and clutter behind nightstand. We won't talk about the dust bunnies etc. under the bed. I really wanted a bath, but standing in the shower made the tub floor creak and crack like I was gonna break through. Didn't think filling it with water was a good idea.

Mom and I were not HAPPY!! We couldn’t catch the shuttle so we missed are show at Foxwoods and then the TV would go on and off every so often and there was nothing in the room tissues, cups, liner for ice bucket, stains on sheets. Not good at all and they told us we could get our money back but we had to go through where we purchased the room. Still not HAPPY!!!

Very dirty, windows not functioning, blood on the wall, cleanliness was the major issue. Not near what I was expecting. Booked it for our 22 wedding anniversary. Walked into room with a couple dead bugs on the floor , stain on the sheets . Dirty windowsills and a bed that was sunken down in middle it was 3 am so I just went to bed . The next day I went to front desk she kindly switched us to the room Nextdoor. It was a bit better the tv worked the other room it didn’t. Seems a bit more clean and the microwave now worked also . Jetting tub was nice to relax. Not saying it was the worst in the world but it would definitely use some upgrades and some work on the grounds itself outside for sure . Don’t think we will go back you can simply find better for the amount they charge for a night .

The staff was very friendly. The courtesy free limo service to the casino was great. The free breakfast was good, however they should be individual packets of butter, cream cheese and jelly rather than everyone dipping into the same stick or jar. The cream cheese was kinda gnarly looking when we got to it. My biggest complaint is that although the room was nice and clean, it stunk horribly of cigarette smoke. As soon as you opened the door the smell hit you. This problem was the subject of conversion with others with the same complaint in the breakfast area this morning as well as in other posts that I've read. In today's age you should really consider being a smoke free facility. I would consider coming back, we really enjoyed the stay and the amenities, but you really should address the smoking in the rooms.

Got a room for my boyfriend and i expecting a whirpool tub to fit, you know 2 adults who booked the room.
It was a regular sized whirpool tub. Sucked it up for the night, switched rooms the next day to get a room with a bigger whirpool tub for it to be freezing cold. (Paid an extra 100$ to switch rooms) so they moved us again. The whirlpool tub was fine but the jets blew out cold water and on top of that there was a dirty condom next to my bed. So i spent 430$ for two nights to have to try 3 different rooms. They need to fire there cleaner and definitely upgrade there rooms/whirpools.

Because in the end it wasnt just my room that had ice cold water. Apparently it was that whole building AND they had that issue the day before and didnt even fix it before they rented it out.

The only thing they did for me was give me a free night coupon. I wont be back. Pretty disappointed

The room was clean enough. The check in staff was nice. The only issues were, the settings on the whirlpool were missing, there was a constant stench of cigarette smoke. Other than that it was okay.

Floors felt non swept tub looked not cleaned tv had no remote nor did the 1 channel it was stuck on work. The staff was & limo driver i have no complaints on customer service was there.

The current cleanliness of the room is unsatisfactory and does not align with the visual representations provided. While the exterior of the property was acceptable and the staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, I was significantly disappointed. Furthermore, I had reserved a balcony room, which was not provided.I would not recommend

The room smelled terrible the toilet was dirty there was garbage in the room the \"whirlpool hot tub\" advertised was only a shower with jets that didnt work the shower head didnt work the sheets were dirty the noise from other rooms was so clear and disturbing we paid $287 only to stay there for in total 2 hours .. im currently in the process of trying to get my money back

This was not a motel / hotel this is a shelter ! The parking lot not cleared of snow .(when we returned to our room late at night there was no parking to be. Had we had to park in the main parking lot and walk through the Snow to the room.. in the morning there was no hot water for a shower. The baseboard was falling off in the back of the bathroom door was filthy dirty I would never stay in this establishment again nor do I think you should be referring people to stay in this establishment..
