Hotel soulless, rooms very basic and unwelcoming.
Breakfast was awful, hot food was unattractive to look at on the buffet so didn’t even try but bread was good. Chipped mugs used and stains on the bench seats.
The worst hotel I’ve stayed in!

Dès la première nuit, j’ai constaté qu’il manquait des oreillers sur le lit prévu pour deux personnes, ainsi qu’un second kit de serviettes. J’ai contacté le service de chambre vers 23h et l’on m’a assuré qu’une intervention rapide aurait lieu. Toutefois, après de multiples tentatives infructueuses pour joindre la réception et le service de chambre, j’ai dû me rendre moi-même à la réception vers 00h30. Les articles manquants ne m’ont finalement été remis qu’aux alentours de 00h50.

À la réception, l’équipe de nuit semblait dépassée par la situation. Par ailleurs, un client anglophone rencontrait des difficultés à se faire comprendre, et j’ai dû intervenir afin de faciliter la communication, ce qui témoigne d’un manque de prise en charge adéquate des clients internationaux.

Lors de la seconde nuit, j’ai de nouveau dû me déplacer à la réception afin d’obtenir un second kit de serviettes, alors que la chambre était occupée par deux personnes.

Ces dysfonctionnements répétés ont eu un impact significatif sur la qualité de mon séjour, notamment en raison des délais d’intervention, du manque de réactivité et de l’absence de suivi.

Room was very noisy. There was construction and landscaping everyday during my stay most days starting at 7am. There were multiple flying insects in my room on numerous days. Hotel staff was not as patient as needed. Recommend finding different hotel to stay at. I will AVOID HYATT properties.

Hyatt Place was a great ambiance! The rooms, the beautiful atmosphere and nice staff, especially the cleaning staff. I love the way they tidy up the rooms everyday after I go out. Worthy of mention are the ones I ran into going to breakfast in the morning cleaning the lift. I appreciated they were so cordial allowing me room to go pass. My experience at Hyatt was so good I don’t think I have had that in recent time at any hotel.

We stayed twice. First time in 5th floor, which was good. Second time on the second floor, and the shower was moldy and backed up, smelly. shampoo rack was broken. Rooms are otherwise very clean.

Window locking mechanism was broken so window would not completely close. Was locked and safe but because it wasn’t fully closed air conditioning wouldn’t work because sensor at window tells the unit it’s open so it disables the A/C. Brought it up with front desk but wasn’t fixed. Offered a free breakfast- luckily the outside temperature wasn’t too cold.

Transport to this hotel is provided by a third party. The minibus driver drove past me twice at CDG without stopping - so it took 1.5h to get the “hotel transport” to the hotel. The driver told me I couldn’t board the bus at CDG without a QR code (tickets need to be purchased in advance on a website - not always easy when you’re traveling and don’t know your exact arrival time.
Hotel front desk staff were not helpful regarding transport. They were good in allowing my travelling companion to check in when the room was booked under my name.
Two restaurant staff were less than helpful. I even had to go and request cutlery after my meal was delivered. One restaurant staff member was very helpful and obliging - given my arrival at closing time due to the terrible airport transport.
This is not up to Hyatt standard. I would definitely recommend booking with another hotel near CDG.

Check in is 3 pm. Apparently no exceptions. I am used to hotels releasing available rooms if you arrive early. Not here. They suggest you go to their restaurant and wait. My room was OK. The restaurant was OK. The shuttle service was OK—it only goes to terminal 3. You need to take the internal shuttle to other terminals. Might be better to use Uber. This is an OK hotel. Nothing more, nothing less.

We were there for one night before an early morning departure from the airport. Food in the restaurant was quick and very good, even though it was a limited menu.
Carpet in the upstairs hallways and rooms were in need of a good cleaning, but passable. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet. The shower, however, did not provide hot water at a consistent temperature and the shower door didn’t seal, allowing water to leak out on the floor.
I got excellent service/help from one of the maintenance men who cut a lock off my suitcase that had been damaged and wouldn’t open. That was a lifesaver! All in all, no problems for a one-night stay.

Yeah so what everybody has said. My sink wasn’t draining water, the shower head was broken and had to figure out how to work it without it falling down. The gate was not open so had to walk around to the car gates while pouring down raining, no shuttle until 6:30 but thankfully we got an uber. Next time I’ll book something right next to the airport.

I like that they have a mini market at the lobby for essentials and food options. The restaurant also offers a great service. Very handy when you arrive after business hours. The water dispenser on my floor was empty though so I couldn’t do the refill. But I went to another floor so all is good. The water pressure from the shower is weak - that’s probably an area of improvement. Would be great if the toilet can also be equipped with bidet shower too. It’s not expensive and will attract lots of more guests, particularly Muslim guests. All in all, it’s a great transit hotel. I had a good stay.

The door in our room had half of the frame broken and the toilet could use some extra cleaning. We booked the hotel as a closer option to the airport as the next day we had a long international trip.

There was only one thing I hated, but that actually ruined our stay: The bathrooms are very clean, but there is an incredibly bad smell hanging in it. Really terrible. We had two rooms, and both had the same problem, making us think it's a problem in the entire hotel.

Great property, very clean and good choices of food in the restaurant. The front desk staff need to work on being more customer oriented and pleasant. One lady at the front desk, unfortunately I forgot her. Amen but she seems to have a supervisory role. She told me that I may have reserved at their sister property, Hyatt House, a cheaper lower grease property I guess. She said this the moment I approached the front desk for check in without asking for my name, ID or reservations details. I’m a black woman, I have been in France touring and this was my last night prior to flying out. I was very offended at that assumption. I carry myself well and am never shabbily dressed. Even at that patrons and potential patrons deserve respect. Hyatt Place fell short in the front desk customer service experience.

Aminata at reception was great. She welcomed me and checked me into my room seamlessly and smoothly within minutes. I also appreciated the support she provided helping me to navigate to get back to the airport to pick up my Navigo pass to get around France as well as the suggestions and directions. This truly set me up for success and made my time in Paris/France memorable as the hotel is a little out of the way but nevertheless wel worth it by using the hotel shuttle an Navigo pass (35 euros). This also afforded me the opportunity to experience Paris as a local which was great. I also ejoyed my time at the bar area where I most times ordered a light dinner and refreshing beverage. Both David and Stepanie provided exceptional service, lively conversation, smiles and laughter. I greatly appreciated their professionalism, kindness and warm spirit. Amnata, Stephanie and David overall made my stay at Hyatt Place Charles to Gaulle exceptional and overall a very memorable and positive experience. As a result of my experience I highly recommend this property and recommend Hyatt to hire individuals such as Aminata, Stephanie and David as they are making a difference!

A light modern hotel, great for the airport

The hotel was about 10 minutes away from the airport. A shuttle service was available at a cost of €5 per person. The collection point at the airport was a little difficult as it was in a small area with taxis coming and going, and some of the people carriers didn’t have the hotel they were servicing. Luckily Hyatt place was on the carrier we caught.
The hotel was light and airy, check in staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was spacious, clean and modern. The food in the restaurant was tasty and service good.
We parked our car there for the duration of our holiday and the cost was very reasonable.

The rooms were well-insulated against both sound and light, ensuring a restful night's sleep even amidst the hustle and bustle of the airport. Additionally, the convenience of having a bar with a good selection of drinks added to the overall experience. The professionalism of the staff further contributed to a pleasant stay, and the presence of a gym offered guests the opportunity to stay active during their visit.

However, noticeable cuts in quality, evident in the amenities provided. The communal toiletries, such as shampoo and shower gel, left much to be desired in terms of quality and variety.

the breakfast offered at a hefty 25 euros fell short of expectations. Despite attempts to create the illusion of abundance by spreading food over multiple tables, the actual offerings were underwhelming. The absence of freshly prepared items, such as eggs and orange juice, was particularly disappointing, and the quality of the available options did not justify the high price.
