I booked this hotel because it says it was close to the airport and there was an option of a shuttle. However, 1) shuttle wasnt for free and 2) which is even worst beeen 12 and 5 theres no service! This is not convenient at all. Restaurant is also open at specific hours and no room service is available. Our option was a salad from a machine and there was only one left when we arrived. I will nevee stay here again as I think there are other options with amenities working and an available shuttle.

Our room was dusty smelling and so stuffy when we arrived. It was relatively clean but looked way more dated than the pictures had looked. Not bad condition considering the age.

There was no water for drinking in the room and the only option was to buy small expensive water bottles in the lobby. At just after 8am the cleaning lady walked in to our room without knocking while my husband was in the washroom.
Breakfast was good. The restaurant staff were nice. There were 2 conventions going on which made it hard getting through the lobby with bags but that’s not the hotels fault. The shuttle got us to the airport and that was the reason we picked it although for the 10 euro plus tip we likely could have just caught a cab. All in all the place needs an update but was fine for our one night stay

The first room I was given smell on cigarettes and I was given the new room, but both the new and the previous room were dirty and the furniture was old, with scratches. The bed is not a regular bed, but a sofa with a mattress on top. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again and I’d never give it 4 stars.
The staff at the reception and at the restaurant were kind and helpful.

Hotel lists a shuttle service available every 30 minutes. However, guests are required to pre-book transportation for pick up/drop off. These instructions are not provided in any confirmation email or check in instructions from hotel. We pre-booked our pick up to the airport. As we were waiting outside at our pick up time, driver loaded another family closed the door and drove off without us.

Hotel room itself was good. Breakfast is over-priced for what is offered. Service staff use guest elevator and we’re squishing carts in with guests on it. Also staff barged in elevator before myself, husband and young daughter were waiting for it.

Wouldn’t stay here again due to the frustrations/annoyances and there are so many other options with similar value.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Very arrogant night staff who will tell u anything just to get rid of u from the way. Ac not working in any of the rooms so expect to melt, when asking about the ac they will tell u government does not allow them to use the ac.
Avoid if you dont want to stay in a boiling hot room.

We stayed here before our flight out of CDG and it was fabulous. For a fee, they let us check in at 09:30 and our baby was able to get a good nap in after a hectic travel schedule! The play area was great for our kids to run in, the staff was so kind and had colouring and puzzles for our kids to take on the flight. We walked to the large shopping mall quite easily which was a nice bonus. The breakfast in the morning had a huge selection and was delicious. Would recommend!

This place needs some changes

My wife and I have been staying at the NOVOTEL for the last 14 years. I have to say that this was probably our last stay in that place. There are a several reasons why I said that: 1. the bathroom tiles in room 336 were covered with MOLD!!! (black ); I specifically asked for the room in the middle of the floor since the last stay we were at the end of the hallway and guess what ...we got the room at the end of the hotel. (this is a bad joke, since the receptionist looked at the floor plan; the menu in the restaurant was poor ; the breakfast was really bad (comparing to other places) and the parking charges are ridiculous . So I think next time we will consider other place to spend the time by the CDG. The staff was doing its job, but the general impression was very poor (again)

We were led to believe that was shuttle directly from the airport to the Hotel , and vice versa, but instead the was a train, needing a train ticket which involved big lines, to a bus. This was a grave misrepresentation as much more time was involved, Not a good failure for the hotel.

Make sure to tell your driver you are going Novotel convention. Our driver told us to walk and we arrived at Novotel by terminal (wrong location. The hotel is absolutely fine for the purpose, nice room, nice bar, swimming pool, gym. We loved the breakfast, great selection of food for every taste. Definitely, will choose them to stay again.

Front Desk was Courteous and tried to be helpful. Althoughth we prepaid throigh Orbitz they claimed they were not paid and insisted on getting paid ( four rooms ,a higher rate than orbitz!!...trying to sort it out afterwards was a headache).

To start there's a £400 euro per room charge on a credit card so make sure you take one. This is not explained anywhere.
It is far away from any transport so unless you are driving avoid.
The reception team love to say No. Anything you ask will be met with a No.

5 euros for a bottle of water- make sure you take your own.

Hot Breakfast is repetitive- noodles, soggy scrambled eggs, over cooked bacon and garlic potatoes.

Toilet is in a tiny corner very difficult to use and seats are wobbly. Only go if you are over 5'10 and can reach the floor as toilets float in mid air. Our toilet also had a wobbly seat that was not fixed for 5 days. Shower has a 20 cm gap to get into. Glass is very hard to open so you have to squeeze through the tiny gap.

Hotel is very stingy with towels and tea/coffee. If you book a room for 4 people you will get, 2 small bath towels, 2 tiny hand towels and 1 mat. No bath sheets.
1 sachet of earl grey tea, 1 fruit tea, 1 sachet of coffee. 1 sachet of sugar, and 1 pot of cream 1 stirrer if you ask for more it's a no. The water in the bathroom sink is not drinking water at least that's what we were told by the reception. And told to buy a bottle of water for 5 euros.

Swimming pool has no steam room or sauna as advertised. If you do go swimming take your own, soap, towels as they are not provided. Also might need a pop up tent as there's no changing room either.

The staff at this hotel love nothing more than to say No! The room we booked for 2 disabled guests were extreamly far away from the rest of our party. As my mothers carer I needed a room close by to her at night when she gets a hypos. 5 days the hotel was empty most of the time but would not change. Toilet had an extreamly wobbly seat which I requested be fixed but was not. Everytime they needed the toilet we had to walk 6 minutes to the lift go to the main reception area and use the visitor toilets in the lobby. On the first morning the house keeping threw the contents of her bin into the toilet which contained pantyliners that would not flush down.

The swimming pool has no private shower, no steam room and no towels were provided. It also has no soaps and no changing room.

The hotel are very stingy with towels. Only 2 towels per room even if you have booked for 3 or 4 people.

Breakfast was repetive. Hot breakfast consists of flavourless scrambled egg, garlic potatoes and overdone bacon and some noodles. Thats all every single day.

Each room is provided with one fruit tea bag, and one earl grey tea bag and one sugar and one coffeee sachet 2 tiny pots of creamer 1 stirrer. Even if you have booked for 4 people thats all you are allowed. Rooms are provided with 1 750ml water bottle. If you want more then its 5 euros a bottle. Even though the have a water dispenser behind the lifts they will not tell you.

£400 per room charge on credit card. Make sure you take one

Using this location quite often. Very convenient location within a few minutes to the terminals at CDG.
Always enjoy a restaurant with the bar at the lobby level; the Novotel's team is very helpful and friendly. The only minus is the price for the parking which should be at the discounted price for the quests (minor )

The hotel entrance or main floor was very nice and inviting just like you see it on the website, however, when we went to the room we can tell that the halls to the rooms are old. The bottom part of our room door was ripped and right away we can tell that the room was really old although spacious even the bathroom.

Please be very careful staying at this hotel. We had prepaid everything except two breakfast and paid for them when we were there. Checked out and told nothing more to pay apart from city tax that I paid. Next day they took 257 pounds from by bank card. Contacted Head office and did virtual chat with hotel. No one has bothered to get back to me using any method.

Property served its purpose. Very busy, lots of families, some wear and tear but served it’s purpose for an airport hotel. In hindsight should have spent the last night in Paris and taken an Uber right to the airport. Save your money on the shuttle and take an Uber directly to your gate. The shuttle was 20 euro (2 adults/2 kids, 4 carryon sized bags) and dropped us off at the main gate where we still had to trek to our check in area. Highlight was being able to walk to the little town of Roissy, about a 7 min walk away. If you can walk to the town and eat, the on-site restaurant is expensive with a limited menu. We went to the grocery store in the morning and grabbed croissants and coffee while the kids played in the park.

I would recommend staying at another hotel if you want to stay close to CDG. We stayed here 2 nights in August 2023. The hotel says it has a shuttle but it is actually a third party where you have to register and pay 4 € per person. The bar is overprice for what you get. Our glasses we small with less than a quarter of a glass of wine poured. Maybe 2 glasses would equal 1 glass anywhere else. Our showerhead was at waist height because it was broken. The pool needs updated and more furniture. There were 2 seats only. Food is not great. We went to eat at the Mercure down the street. Wished we would have stayed there.

Good experience overall. We arrived at the hotel at 8:30am after a Trans Atlantic flight, with 2 exhausted kids. The desk rep woman did above and beyond to arrange us an early check in to the room. We got the room at noon instead of 3pm. .

First, Last and Never at this hotel chain.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel chain, and I want to make it clear that I will never stay here again. When we arrived, things seemed okay, but then everything went downhill.

First, we asked the reception for a taxi, and it seemed like they sent us one of their own, charging us 15 euros more than the regular city cabs for the same distance.

Next, we were three people in the room and asked for an additional pillow since there were only two pillows in the room. However, they said they had run out of pillows and couldn't provide us with any. I had to improvise and create a makeshift pillow from towels to sleep on.

To make matters worse, at 11.55 PM, someone from the hotel brought what they called a \"pillow,\" but it was more like a square cushion. It was not a comfortable sleeping experience at all.

Lastly, the following morning, I called the reception to ask for a taxi to the airport. Instead, they recommended their shuttle service, which I agreed to use. However, they failed to mention that payment had to be made at the reception before boarding the shuttle. When I found out l, while inwas boarding the shuttle, about the payment process, I rushed back to the reception and had to create an account and pay via a QR code.Meanwhile, another guest was allowed to pay directly at the reception, which seemed unfair and inconsistent.

In conclusion, this experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I will not be considering this hotel chain for any future stays.

I found the property to be okay. However, I found the staff to be a bit rude and felt a bit disappointed with the service. When I checked in to the hotel, I was told that Breakfast was included with our stay. I reconfirmed the same again, and they assured me not to worry and that we only owe the tax, which is to be paid during check-in.

On checkout, I was asked if I had breakfast, and it was chargeable, and I needed to pay. When I argued, the person at the front desk told me that it was not their job to find out if the breakfast was included or not I should check my booking. When I told him that, I was told it was included, he said his staff does not check that during check-in, and it's not their job. We traveled so much but never came across this kind of service. He finally did not charge me, but that rude experience was not appreciated at all. You need to treat your customer well. After this incident, i don't feel I will ever book with Novatel.

Great property with large well equipped comfortable room and in-room coffee. Would definitely stay there again. Some confusion among reception staff as to how to book shuttle bus for airport- three different answers provided by 3 different staff members was somewhat confusing although all members spoke English. In the end, one staff person booked the bus for us and it turned out fine.

The staff are very polite and friendly and answer your questions promptly and provide the service you require within their capabilities, room was nice and cold.
Nice swimming pool.

Dissapointing.

Very dissapointing. Hotel is not well kept. The lobby seats are not well cleaned. Dust accumilation all along the hallway. I was fearing the state of the room on my way up. The room was at least cleaner.The dustbins are old steel cans that are rusting and bent. Difficult to get the shuttle from the airport. Easier to get a taxi. Had us navigate the airport for 30 minutes to get to the pick up zone. Called for pick up. They hang up and did not send the ride. Did a shift change then told us to wait for an extra 45 minutes. I ended up downloading the ubber app and getting there this way. The only good thing about this hotel was having a pool. The current management however is running this place down. More like a 2.5 star hotel. Could be a 3 if they started cleaning and maintaining it.

Both Expedia and Novotel CDG hotel have disappointed me. Firstly it took 3 business days for the hotel to receive the reservation from Expedia. In the meantime, I spent several hours on the phone with Expedia trying to find out as to why the hotel doesn't have the reservation. At one point, an employee of Expedia customer service said to me they are traying to reach the hotel but nobody is answering the phone and told me I should call the hotel directly myself, very unprofessional. Once the reservation finally made it's way through to the hotel, I needed an early check-in and a large vehicle booked from the airport to the hotel. I made several attempts trying to get it organized directly with the hotel and with the Expedia as well. My attempts were unsuccessful, Expedia came back with a response saying hotel will not allow early check-in for my type of reservation, they said nothing about the transfer to the hotel. When I called the hotel on several occasions, they said the early check-in will be available and with the airport transfers, one person said it can be booked no problem (this was at the time the hotel still did not hold my reservation) once the reservation was with the hotel, the receptionist I spoke to said they can't book transfer to the hotel because there is no way for a driver to find the guest at the hotel. I found this very unhelpful given one can write persons name on a piece of paper and wait for them at the luggage exit as many do.
