Amazing place to stay, the staff were very welcoming and very helpful! The hotel itself is on the main road which is really convenient as you don’t have to walk up and down a lot of stairs. The bus stop to Positano is right infront of the hotel and we visited positano twice so transportation was easy. The views are absolutely insane and the restaurant at the hotel was delicious. Would highly recommend staying there and would definitely book again if we visit Praiano in the future!

Perfect spot for many reasons
Everything at Il Pino was excellent! The place is beautiful, the service was outstanding, Rosa took care of everything we needed and answered all of our questions. Praiano is a perfect spot away from busy Positano and Amalfi. Breakfast was delicious and by day two Patricia and Wego knew what coffee we wanted! The pool is beautiful and easy to access. Il Pino was a highlight for our travels!

Truly unforgettable! This charming boutique hotel exceeded all expectations. Perched above the sea, the hotel offers breathtaking views—including a view of Positano, which looked magical lit up at night from our huge terrace. I was so glad we didn’t book in Positano itself—it felt too busy and chaotic.The photos don’t do it justice—everything has been beautifully updated and is impeccably maintained. The white walls, ceramic accents, and infinity pool overlooking the sea create a dreamy atmosphere. The pool (beautifully maintained by Andreas) was perfect after the 350-step climb to the tiny beach below—crystal clear blue water and dramatic cliffs (note: entry is by ladder or jump only!). Parking was easy at the hotel, and the bus stop out front made Amalfi and Positano easily accessible. The hotel is located right next to the charming San Gennaro Church, and the sound of the bells added to the area’s authentic Italian atmosphere. The on-site restaurant was excellent, with singing waiters and delicious food. Breakfast was included, with tasty pastries and savory Italian bites—we even received a breakfast to-go for our early flight out. Big special thanks to dear Rosa, who helped with everything from room selection to booking a 4-hour boat tour (Tip:The Amalfi Coast is best seen from the sea. You only truly appreciate its dramatic landscapes from the water!). Staff were kind and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We’ll never forget it!

Wonderful, beautiful, and amazing customer service. I don’t even know where to begin. This hotel is truly a gem; from the beautiful views, to the truly exceptional customer service at the front desk, restaurant, and pool area. The property is stunning, clean, and has everything you need. I am going to start by highlighting Rosa, who was responsive to my every message weeks before my trip. She arranged all of my transportation to and from Naples, suggested activities, and gave us the most heartwarming welcome when we arrived. Her smile and amazing personality are a treasure. I am going to continue by highlighting Antonio at the restaurant; I can still hear him singing to us, his contagious smile and wonderful spirit made us come back to the restaurant every single night we were there. We chose no other restaurant and looked forward to his heartwarming welcome every single night. Sending him warm hugs from South Florida. Lastly, we are highlighting Andreas at the pool, he made us feel so welcome the moment we stepped out. The views were amazing from the pool but having him there with great drinks, wonderful music, and a welcoming spirit made it so much better.

Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice. Patricia in the breakfast room mastered how to make hot chocolate to my taste :) We will most definitely be booking another stay, hopefully for our return next year.

This super quaint hotel with an amazing restaurant and some wonderful members of its staff is what you picture when you are thinking of a cute little boutique type hotel up on the analfi coast and Praiano IS that town!!! It’s quiet and beautiful with a great view and a very nice pool! The breakfast is really good and the attendants for it are so welcoming and friendly! The gentleman at the restaurant who loves to sing is a wonder and the Manager, Rosa is top notch and will go out her way for you!

Me and my husband have just returned from 3 nights here and the hotel was absolutely perfect for us. Firstly, the location is great, I would highly recommend Praiano to stay for visiting the Amalfi coast as it's inbetween Positano (20 mins) and Amalfi (25 mins) but so so so much quieter - and still with plenty of restaurants to be able to eat out at a different place for at least a week. The hotel itself has stunning views, is so clean and light, has everything you need. The room is cleaned every day. It was a small hotel, so felt very personal. We were in the Atrani room, which was a superior double room with balcony and sea view. Breakfast options are great and for evening meals you can watch the sun go down in the restaurant next door. The food was outstanding, my husband and I shared the caprese and the eggplant parmagiamo, which were both delicious. For our mains I had the sea bass and my husband had the steak, once again perfectly cooked.

This place is amazing. We enjoyed it so very much. Everything was perfect. Andrea at the fron office was very welcoming as was the rest of the staff. The room was fantastic. Clean, comfortable beds, big bathroom with great showers. The view from the room was spectacular, as the vew was from everywhere in the hotel. The pool was great to swim in and the beds perfect to sunbath on. The breakfast was amazingly good. It had everything you could want and more. Bacon and eggs, may sorts of coffee and tea, pancakes, doughnuts, croissants, bread, nutella, jam, ham, cheese, tomatoes, fruits, yoghurt and more. Thank you for the most wonderful stay.

Hotel Pino was exceptional for a 3 star hotel. From the moment we arrived Tosa greeted us with a smile and insisted on helping with the luggage. The hotel has 17 rooms and you are a person and not a number. The room was small but our balcony and view was the most amazing ever. There are no words to describe the magnificent view of the ocean and mountains. A beautiful pool and terrace added an extra place to enjoy the ambience. We only booked 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for our memories and first impressions of the Amalfi Coast.

It’s a quaint property with amazing views. Rosa at the front desk was extremely helpful. She booked a ride from Naples to the hotel and from the hotel to Salerno train station for a continuation of our trip to Florence. The company they used had an amazing driver named Edwardo, who was a great driver along the Amalfi Coast’s narrow and winding road. You can take a bus for a day trip to Positano and then a ferry to Capri. That was enjoyable. The hotel room was fine but the mattress was a little hard for my taste. The shower stall is very small. Besides those couple things, it was a nice stay.

From the moment be booked til the end of our amazing 6 day vacation we felt lots of support and great communication. The staff go above and beyond and met our every need at all times. Even before we would ask, it felt like they already knew how to make things even more special! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel/staff and location. Don’t 2nd guess, book your stay here! It’s perfectly situated between positano and amalfi coast making it ideal spot for the less crowded area but close enough to explore and enjoy all the surrounding areas. The hotel, view and pool area are beautiful. Rosa helped us set up a private driver to and from our hotel and helped us book a scooter rental for most of our days while there. It was so great to have help with dining, excursion/exploring ideas and also would help book these for us. Breakfast was amazing every morning and they even remembered what type of juice and coffee we liked, it would be ready at our table for us by the time we sat down. The pool guy was awesome and made us feel like we were at home.. amazing pool/bar area, super fun and played music we liked. The restaurant for dinner was absolutely delicious (awesome wine selection) the atmosphere was out of this world at dinner. It felt so warm, inviting.. like family. We truly are so grateful for all the love, attention and the care in every detail you gave us in all areas. We can’t thank you all enough for such an amazing and beautiful experience! We had an amazing time at Hotel Il Pino! The room and hotel were very clean, the front desk staff was helpful with their local tips, the pool staff kept us having so much fun and the breakfast was one of the best we had on our entire Italy trip. The views from the hotel were breath-taking and the location makes it the perfect spot to be able to walk to shops and restaurants in Praiano. It is also a ~4 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to other nearby towns. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking in Praiano or th surrounding areas!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They were very kind and friendly, reached out before we arrived and were accommodating. The property is in a great location. The room was nice but there were some problems. Our bathroom had ants and bugs everywhere, the shower would not drain the water fast enough therefore there was water all over the bathroom. We had problems with the tv not working. There were also ants by the pool so you couldn’t lay down on the lounge chairs without ants being all over you. Some of the staff were great like Rosa and Guido. Also the cleaning staff were nice. Unfortunately the pool attendant Andrea was very rude…not sure why.

I can’t say how amazing our stay here truly was. Firstly the location is fantastic as it’s not in the busy areas of Amalfi or Positano, but also a nice ride or ferry away to go and see those areas. The hotel has an amazing view with all rooms facing the sea, a beautiful and well clean pool and bar service as well as access to the ocean down about 100 steps. The best part of this hotel was the amazing staff. The two people at the front reception were wonderful especially with parking our car and also helping us get it out upon checkout. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff served you with a smile. The hotel also helped us with renting a vespa for the day through a company they recommend which was also the best to book. We tell enjoyed our stay here and actually have it to return then next time we come back to Italy.

What a gem of a hotel nestled on the edge of the ocean in Praino. My husband and I stayed for five days and found our stay amazing. Rosa, the concierge with the help of Vincenzo helped arrange some wonderful boat tours to the Amalfi coast and Capri. Then she had great restaurant recommendations, which made our stay amazing. The restaurant at the hotel had some of the best food we had eaten there. Everything delicious and it was such a fun lively atmosphere with a fantastic ocean view. Then we had the beautiful pool, which was perfect for a nice cool dip with our lifeguard/bartender serving up great drinks and bumpin beats along with some some old-fashioned classics made it such a fun atmosphere. The hotel decor itself was filled with gorgeous ceramics and artwork. It was just so special. Parking is difficult in Praino but the hotel arranged a spot right next to the hotel so we could leave for the airport at 5:30 AM and of course they had a beautiful little to go package of breakfast we could take along. They cater to your every detail needed. Thank you for the perfect stay in Praino Il Pino!

Can’t say enough about this hotel. The customer service is superb. All the staff at Hotel Ill pino are just great. They helped me with everything from transportation to restaurant reservations to excursions. The views at the hotel are breathtaking and the restaurant at the hotel serves amazing food and are so nice! My room view was great too only thing it does get humid there and even with the AC on the humidity doesn’t go away. The staff at breakfast area were so nice and also the pool guy Andrea. Just the whole staff at Hotel Ill Pino were amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is in Priano. 10 mins away from postiano and in the opposite direction is almafi, also being 110-15mins away on bus.
Staff was nice and room was clean. The room is a bit small but it fit 3 of us comfortably. The balcony view of the ocean was beautiful. The breakfast is pretty basic so if you have a big appetite in the morning, then i suggest eating breakfast somewhere else.

What an excellent hotel. It's immaculatley clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. The staff is superb. They patiently answered all our questions, helped arrange transportation, amd were welcoming amd warm. The restaurant is exceptional amd has amazing views of the water. Its located conveniently between Amalfi and Positano, but has none of the crowds. Praiano itself is charming and the bistro across the street from Il Pino is superb. Couldnt ask for better, IMHO.

From the moment we arrived until we left everything was beyond our expectations. The staff went above and beyond!!!!we were greeted at the door upon arrival, we were called if we did not show up for breakfast as they close a certain and would remain open. We were given some much help and guidance when trying to get rides to other parts of the coast & even css as me to bus stop to get us back to share a ride with another couple. The restaurant atmosphere was amazing!!! Staff so pleasant and smiling and singing in Italian it was just beautiful. Such a home feeling there. We left early in the morning and we were provided with a bag filled with pastries, cookies, water and juices for our next journey. Hotel pino and all staff thank you so much for everything!!! We will return.

To date, Hotel Pino has been the best accommodations so far in my 2-week tour of Southern Italy! The lobby, guest room, restaurant, and the pool/patio are were beautiful and spotless!

Il Pino was the perfect place to stay. Close to Positano, Almalfi, Ravello, Sorrento and Capri by boat. Quiet and not crowded like the other towns. Rosa and Vincenzo were great in taking care of everything for us from reservations to restaurants, cars and cappuccinos in the morning😄

Nice clean rooms with great views. Pool was even better than it looks in the pictures. Staff were very nice and helpful answering questions and arranging transportation. Bus stops in both directions are a 2min walk from the hotel. You can also walk to the beach but expect A LOT of steps. Great choice if you want to stay in Praiano as your base when visiting Amalfi coast.

But the reason for the overall poor review score is my having burned my arm on the super hot desk lamp (must be using halogen bulbs). The hotel apparently is aware of the issue with the lamps as when I spoke to the receptionist (Andrea) about it, upon just mentioning the word lamp, he finished my sentence by saying, \"you got burned.\" The hotel is not new and the lamps are not new so I am guessing they must have victimized a lot of guests already. They SHOULD BE replaced right away.
At the very least, they should have clear warning signs all around it. We spent at least 15 minutes with the same receptionist during check-in (he helped us with suggestions for getting around) -- they should make it a point to warn guests about those hot lamps in addition to the warning signs mentioned above.

Il Pino was great! Andrea was fantastic and the front desk. Lot's of options at breakfast. Parking can be hard in Priano but the staff is so good at parking and shuffling cars for you.
