Room clean, but a lot of cobwebs at the top of the head board. Topper mattress was lumpy in the middle of the bed. Room was only cleaned on day of arrive, bin emptied on second day and cups cleaned. Recreptoon staff and bar staff lovely. Breakfast nice apart from cold coffee and toast.

The bath tapers to a very narrow bath base making it dangerous to shower. Also the extractor fan was not working although the maintenance guy said it's on the work list to be done.
We were there for 3 nights and was offered a room swap on the 3rd night which we declined as it was too late to bother.
The bathroom is tired and needs replacing or taking out and a shower installed then the room would be perfect.
Overall a good experience and we would use the hotel again.

the staff were great changing our room from the 3rd floor to 1st floor due to a broken down lift. This was repaired the following day. The restaurant was excellent with adapting the menu to gluten free. No electric vehicle chargers but 2 convenient chargers a short walk away by the rugby club.

The Lady on reception didn’t look happy to see us as we were very early (11.45am) but explained we were on a road trip and been travelling for two weeks and only wanted to leave the camper on the car park and walk to town for the day until book in. The room was clean but dark as a back room with just bushes/tree blocking the light and very warm and had no air conditioning or fan.
The outside needs a little love and car park too but inside reception, bar and restaurant areas are lovely.
We had a walk to the town which is 20 minutes walk and then to the sea front where we found a lovely bar/ restaurant called St Elli’s Bay which was lovely.

Web site pictures enhance the actual in terms of size and quality so disappointed.

Not a 4* hotel in my book. Our room had very limited facilities. No bed side lights, switches or sockets. room had a very small, highly positioned window. No air con.
That said the staff were great, friendly and helpful. Good bar with good food on offer.

The hotel did look a lot different to the pictures. Unfortunately the car park let it down. There was no parking close to the reception as a large number of motorbikes had taken it over, meaning I had to park in the lower car park and carry bags up a lot of steps to get to reception. There I was advised that the lift was out of order and my room was on the third floor! No alternatives offered. This limited the time spent outside of my room and led to an early check out when going for breakfast to avoid added trips to the third floor!
There was quite a lot of noise during the night, with people shouting in the corridor outside the rooms, and bikes revving outside in the early hours.
The shower itself wasn't great but the rooms were clean and tidy.

Place is amazing and offers great view, only downside is the lift was out of order and if you are on 2nd or 3rd floor with lots of luggage is a bit fun to take it up. Other than that, the place is lovely.

The hotel has plenty of parking and the room was nicely furnished. It’s in a quiet location with a park close by and a distant view of the sea . My only issue is In respect of the availability of the restaurant. The first night on check in I was asked if I wished to book a table and I did so . That night there was only myself and one other table in it . Food was great and I was looking forward to a meal the next night . On arrival on day two I was told there wasn’t a table free until 8.00 which was far too late - they had a large golf party in . My criticism comes from why I wasn’t asked to reserve a table for day two when they must have known it was busy on day one after I’d eaten the meal .

All pretty good except we found the bed uncomfortable and only a double size. There was plenty of room for at least a queen size which would have gone a long way to help comfort level. Fantastic shower however and very clean.

We were very disappointed the hotel advertises as and spa hotel which I purposely booked as I was running a marathon and wanted to use the spa facilities after the run, we weren't told till we arrived that the spa has been closed over 2 years yet they still advertise as a spa.
Also they sent me an email an hour before we arrived to say lift was out of order because the intercom in it wasn't working it was a pure disaster as we were on the top floor and after running 26miles we had to use stairs.
Their food menu is very minimum not great at all and is the same every day.
Some of the staff were lovely others quite rude.

The hotel is very characterful with friendly and helpful staff. Situated in an ideal location to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline or racing at Ffos las. Room had good cupboard / drawer space and was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend.

This is a really nice hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was really good. The walk from the car park to reception is quite steep and it’s a bit awkward if you have a heavy suitcase on arrival.

I enjoyed my stay overall. Most of the staff were very friendly. I had a nice chat with one of the bartenders. I didn’t catch his name but he was young and a little heavyset. The other chap wasn’t friendly and I think he’d benefit from some feedback and customer service training. It comes naturally to some people but not everyone.

It’s clear the hotel is still undergoing maintenance and improvements since reopening and I can completely understand. In some places it felt upgraded and then in others worn and dated. The food was great as well as the wine selections. I thought the food prices were very good. I enjoyed the breakfast too.
My room was comfortable and functional and I sport the sea view alone the ability to crack open the windows at night for some fresh air. Pillows, sheet and duvet were great better than several hotels I’ve stayed in recently.
It’s clear the hotel is still undergoing maintenance and improvements since reopening and I can completely understand. In some places it felt upgraded and then in others worn and dated. I really hope there is continued upgrading of the hotel and staff training and motivation and this place and the people deserve to succeed.

A 2 night stay to explore the local area on bicycles. Staff were amazing and could not do more! Many thanks. Room was a good size and able to see the coastline from our bedroom windows on the 2nd floor. We had breakfast and again very good! We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening so can't comment on the menu. We did use the bar, prices were reasonable and bar staff very friendly. 15 minute walk into town and easy access to the pedestrian/ cycle path which links to the Millennial Coastal path.

Easy check in with friendly staff. On the ground floor with a standard room which was clean and tidy. View to the back of the hotel which could do with some attention. Public areas look to have been recently refurbed and looked good including the bar. Ate there once in the evening and once for breakfast - evening meal was v good and the breakfast was buffet style (hot and cold) which meant some of the food wasn't at its freshest - but had worse. Good view out to sea from the restaurant. Local pub down the road worth a look (Stradey Arms) - lovely, friendly and good food. Llanelli itself is a poor old place and only use the hotel for the Gower and other local attractions.
