The only issue I would say is the shower pressure. I had a shower upon arrival, and even on the “rain” setting, the entire bathroom was soaked including the toilet and the loo roll. I tried facing it towards the wall but it was extremely powerful. May have only been in our room.

This hotel is great value for money, no frills but if you're ok with that its worth a stay. A few idiosyncrasies, couldnt get any BBC channels the hotel tv system and the room layout was a bit all over the place. Another big plus is free parking.

I've never stayed in an IBIS hotel before, but i will definitely be back. The staff were ever so polite, professional friendly and helpful. The whole place was very clean, the bar and restaurant were excellent, well cooked, plenty of choice and tasty. It was an easy 20 min walk into the centre of Swansea making it an ideal place for a lovely quite stay but close to the city.

I booked the room on hotel.com which I through was reasonable on bank holidays weekend. The hotel staff were very welcome and friendly.
We got to our room the lights on wall didn’t work, lights hangs off the bed wasn’t working’s, one switch wasn’t working, not much lighting in the room. I did complaint about it but staff couldn’t do much as it was full booked.
Someone banged on our room door in the early hours morning, some girl was screaming, no phone in the room. The beds wasn’t comfortable, we only had 1 pillow each my friend had use a towel to make the pillow more comfortable.

Ideal hotel if you’re visiting Swansea Arena. Was only just over a fiver for an uber/taxi. Really friendly staff and a lovely bar and lounge area. The road side of the hotel is quite noisy, although didn’t worry us as we normally sleep with a fan on at night, so the noise wasn’t a trouble. The only real issue was the thickness of the mattress. Beds only have a thin mattress and a topper, which for us wasn’t very comfortable. It was okay. The pillows were a bit flat but the bed was comfy. I couldn’t double lock my door which I didn’t like as a single woman. The sink and shower didn’t drain very well, there would be a long wait for it went down. Shower gel was very nice.

We were on the second floor, the lift was clean and prompt, the room was clean and the bathroom clean. The shower was hot, but it felt as though one of the tiles on the wet room floor was a bit wobbly. Last time we had a bath, so next time we are going to ask for a bath. The breakfast was excellent and the complimentary snacks with our evening drink was a nice bonus. We would have eaten at the Ibis but the day we chose the main chef wasn’t in and the restricted menu for that day didn’t have a vegan option. The Ibis was situated just off the main road but we didn’t get any road noise, the car park wasn’t full and we were able to charge our car easily. The park and ride is opposite if you don’t want to drive,

The girl on the front desk was very helpful but her washed out old tee shirt said it all, the room was very tired, basic and lacking modern facilities, black grout around shower, everything was past its sell by date.

The place itself is very good. It's a shame it's in an industrial estate, as there's no where to go that is a short walking distance. Fine if you had a car. Very warm welcome. We booked this hotel last minute at a good price £45, and for the price we paid I'd say it was acceptable. We were in room 212 and the bedroom was ok, the restrictor on the window was broken which didn't pose a safety concern to us but may to others. The bathroom however needs some attention, the floor was broken in places and even though it was probably cleaned it really didn't feel clean. The toilet moved when you sat on it. For a 2star hotel it was ok. Neighbouring rooms did seem to slam doors a lot.
